《巢氏病源》小儿疽候∶五脏不调则生疽，亦是寒。客于皮肤，折于血气，血气痞涩不通，结聚所成。大体
与痈相似，所可为异者，其上如牛领之皮而硬是也。痈则浮浅，疽则深也。至于变败脓溃，重于痈也，伤骨烂
筋，遂至于死。
《千金》治小儿疽痈方。
丹砂 大黄（各三十铢） 黄连（三十六铢） 雌黄 茹（漆头者） 雄黄（各二十四铢） 莽草 矾石（马齿
者。各十八铢）
上八味 咀，以猪脂一升三合，微火煎三上三下，膏成去滓，下诸石末搅凝，敷之。
《千金》治小儿疽极，月初即生，常黄水出方。
上酢和油煎令如粥，及热敷之，二日一易，欲重敷，则以皂荚汤洗疮乃敷之。

《圣惠》治小儿疽毒肿坚硬，疼痛攻冲，四畔 赤，宜用抽热毒消肿气青膏方。
羊桃根（锉） 川大黄（锉，生用。各一两） 黄芩 绿豆粉 黄柏（锉。各半两） 赤小豆（半分）
上件药捣，细罗为散。用芸薹菜捣取自然汁，以蜜少许相和调药，令稀稠得所，看四畔肿赤处大小，剪生
绢上匀摊，可浓一钱，贴之，干即换之。
《圣惠》治小儿疽肿穴后及恶疮肿，脓水虽较，肌肉不生，宜敷密陀僧散方
密陀僧（一两） 黄连（去须） 槟榔（各三分）
上件药捣，细罗为散，用掺疮上，日三敷之。
《圣惠》治小儿疽疮久不瘥，宜贴松脂饼子方
松脂 薰陆香（各一两）
上件药合捣，内少许盐为饼子，贴于疮上，汁出尽即瘥。

黄连（去须） 黄柏（锉） 地榆（锉） 白芷（各半两）
上件药捣，细罗为散。每用鸡子白调涂于故细布上，贴之。

上件药捣，细罗为散。每用鸡子白调涂于故细布上，贴疮上，日三、四度换之。
《圣惠》治小儿疽肿结硬，已成脓，未成脓，贴 方
鹿角（屑，二两，烧灰） 白蔹（一两） 粗理黄石（三两，烧赤，以醋淬九遍）
上件药捣，细罗为散，以醋调，稀稠得所。浓涂之，干即更涂，五、七度即效。

上用蛇蜕皮贴之，经宿自消。

张涣鸡舌散方 治疽疮。
鸡舌香 木香 沉香（各一两） 麻黄（去根节） 海藻（洗去咸味） 大黄（炮。各半两）
上件捣，罗为粗末。每服一大钱，水一大盏，入竹沥三两点，煎五分，去滓温服，兼放温热，淋渫患处。
《巢氏病源》中关于小儿疽的论述：五脏功能失调就会生疽，这也属于寒邪。寒邪客居在皮肤，阻碍了血气的运行，导致血气痞塞涩滞、不通畅，从而结聚形成疽。大体上与痈相似，但不同的是，疽的表面像牛颈部的皮那样坚硬。痈的位置浮浅，而疽的位置深。至于化脓溃烂败坏的情况，比痈更严重，会损伤骨骼、腐烂筋脉，最终导致死亡。
《千金方》治疗小儿疽和痈的方剂。
丹砂、大黄（各三十铢）、黄连（三十六铢）、雌黄、茹（漆头者）、雄黄（各二十四铢）、莽草、矾石（马齿者，各十八铢）。
以上八味药，切碎，用猪脂一升三合，用微火煎煮，反复上下翻动三次，制成膏后去掉药渣，加入各种石药的粉末搅拌凝固，外敷患处。
《千金方》治疗小儿疽极重，月初即发生，常流出黄色脓水的方剂。
用醋调和油煎至如粥状，趁热敷在患处，两天更换一次，想要再次厚敷时，先用皂荚汤清洗疮口然后再敷药。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿热毒生疽，肿胀坚硬疼痛以及赤白诸种丹毒、疮疖，都适宜服用漏芦散的方剂。
漏芦、麻黄（去根节）、连翘、川芒硝（各半两）、川升麻、枳实（麸炒至微黄）、黄芩、赤芍药、白蔹、甘草（各三分）、川大黄（二两，锉碎，微炒）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏煎至五分，去掉药渣，根据孩子的大小，不分时候，分次减量服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿热毒疽肿以及赤白诸种丹毒肿，或者生瘰疬、疮疖，身体中风疹瘙痒。木香散的方剂。
木香、薰陆香、沉香、鸡骨香、黄芩、麻黄（去根节，各一分）、连翘、海藻（洗去咸味）、牛蒡子（炒）、枳实（炒）、射干、川升麻（各半两）、川大黄（二两，锉碎炒）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏煎至五分，去掉药渣，加入竹沥半合，再煎两三沸，放温，根据孩子的大小，不分时候，分次减量温服。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽肿以及疮疖，身体壮热，口干心躁。黄芪散的方剂。
黄芪（锉）、连翘、川升麻、枳壳（炒，各半两）、丹参、露蜂房（炙）、甘草（炙，锉）、元参（各一分）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏煎至五分，去掉药渣放温，根据孩子的大小分次减量服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽毒肿硬，壮热大渴。犀角散的方剂。
犀角（屑，三分）、麦门冬（一两，去心焙）、葛根（锉）、川升麻、木香、黄芪（锉）、甘草（炙）、黄芩（各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏煎至五分，去掉药渣放温，根据孩子的大小分次减量服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽毒肿坚硬，疼痛攻冲，四周发红，适宜使用抽热毒消肿气青膏方。
羊桃根（锉）、川大黄（锉，生用，各一两）、黄芩、绿豆粉、黄柏（锉，各半两）、赤小豆（半分）。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂。用芸薹菜捣取自然汁，加少许蜂蜜调和药物，使稀稠适度，观察四周红肿处的大小，剪一块生绢均匀摊开，厚度约一钱，贴敷患处，干了就更换。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽肿穴后及恶疮肿，脓水虽然较少，但肌肉不生，适宜敷密陀僧散的方剂。
密陀僧（一两）、黄连（去须）、槟榔（各三分）。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂，撒在疮上，每天敷三次。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽疮久不愈合，适宜贴松脂饼子的方剂。
松脂、薰陆香（各一两）。
以上药物合捣，加少许盐做成饼子，贴在疮上，汁液出尽即可痊愈。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽已溃破的黄连散方。
黄连（去须）、黄柏（锉）、地榆（锉）、白芷（各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次用鸡蛋清调涂在旧细布上，贴敷患处。
《圣惠方》又一方。
白芷、黄连（去须）、地榆（锉）、白蔹（各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次用鸡蛋清调涂在旧细布上，贴于疮上，每天换三四次。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿疽肿结硬，已成脓或未成脓，贴敷方。
鹿角（屑，二两，烧灰）、白蔹（一两）、粗理黄石（三两，烧红，用醋淬九遍）。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂，用醋调匀，稀稠适度。厚涂患处，干了就再涂，五到七次就见效。
《圣惠方》又一方。
用芫花捣碎，筛为粉末，用水调和如膏状涂敷。

用蛴螬研碎涂敷。鳗鲡鱼的胆汁及血液，分别涂敷，都有效。
张涣的鸡舌散方，治疗疽疮。
鸡舌香、木香、沉香（各一两）、麻黄（去根节）、海藻（洗去咸味）、大黄（炮制，各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，筛为粗末。每次服用一大钱，水一大盏，加入竹沥三两点，煎至五分，去掉药渣温服，同时保持温热，淋洗患处。
According to *Chao Shi Bing Yuan* (Source of Diseases by Chao Yuanfang) regarding the syndrome of pediatric *ju* (deep-seated abscess): When the functions of the five Zang organs are disordered, *ju* arises; this is also due to cold pathogenic factors. The cold lodges in the skin and muscles, obstructing the flow of blood and Qi, causing stagnation and涩滞 (stasis), leading to condensation and formation of the lesion. Generally, it resembles *yong* (superficial abscess), but differs in that its surface is hard like the skin on a cow's neck. *Yong* is superficial, whereas *ju* is deep. Regarding the transformation into pus and ulceration, it is more severe than *yong*, damaging bones and rotting sinews, eventually leading to death.
*Qian Jin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) formula for treating pediatric *ju* and *yong*.
Cinnabar (Dansha), Rhubarb (Dahuang) (each 30 zhu), Coptis (Huanglian) (36 zhu), Orpiment (Cihuang), Ru (from lac insect head), Realgar (Xionghuang) (each 24 zhu), Polygonum arystolochiifolium (Mangcao), Alum (Fanshi) (from purslane species, each 18 zhu).
The above eight ingredients are chopped, boiled in one sheng and three he of lard over low heat, repeatedly turning up and down three times. Once the ointment is formed, remove the dregs, add the powdered minerals, stir until solidified, and apply externally.
*Qian Jin Fang* formula for treating severe pediatric *ju* appearing at the beginning of the month, often exuding yellow fluid.
Mix vinegar with oil and boil until porridge-like consistency. Apply warm compresses, changing every two days. For re-application, wash the sore with soap pod decoction first, then apply.
*Sheng Hui Fang* (Prescriptions of Holy Grace) formula for treating pediatric *ju* caused by heat-toxin, characterized by swelling, hardness, pain, as well as various red and white *dan du* (erysipelas/toxic sores) and furuncles. All are suitable for taking Loulu San.
Loulu (Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae), Ephedra (Mahuang) (roots and joints removed), Forsythia (Lianqiao), Magnesium Sulfate from Sichuan (Chuan Mangxiao) (each half liang), Cimicifuga (Chuan Shengma), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi) (bran-fried until slightly yellow), Scutellaria (Huangqin), Red Peony Root (Chishaoyao), White Peony Root (Bailian), Licorice (Gancao) (each 3 fen), Rhubarb from Sichuan (Chuan Dahuang) (2 liang, cut into pieces, slightly fried).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a coarse powder. Take one qian per dose, decoct in one small cup of water until reduced to half a cup, strain, and administer according to the child's age, at any time, in divided doses.
*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for treating pediatric heat-toxin *ju* swelling, red and white *dan du* swelling, or occurrence of scrofula (luoli) and furuncles, accompanied by wind-rash and itching. Muxiang San.
Costus root (Muxiang), Frankincense (Xunlu Xiang), Agarwood (Chenxiang), Chicken Bone Fragrance (Jigu Xiang), Scutellaria (Huangqin), Ephedra (Mahuang) (roots and joints removed, each 1 fen), Forsythia (Lianqiao), Kelp (Haizao) (washed to remove saltiness), Arctostaphylos seed (Niubangzi) (fried), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi) (fried), Belamcanda (Shegan), Cimicifuga (Chuan Shengma) (each half liang), Rhubarb from Sichuan (Chuan Dahuang) (2 liang, cut and fried).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a coarse powder. Take one qian per dose, decoct in one small cup of water until reduced to half a cup, strain, add half a he of bamboo sap, boil for two or three boils, let cool to warm, and administer warm in divided doses according to the child's size, at any time.

*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for pediatric *ju* toxin with hard swelling, high fever, and excessive thirst. Xijiao San.
Rhinoceros Horn (Xijiao) (powdered, 3 fen), Ophiopogon (Maimendong) (1 liang, heart removed, baked), Kudzu Root (Gegen), Cimicifuga (Chuan Shengma), Costus root (Muxiang), Astragalus (Huangqi) (cut), Licorice (Gancao) (roasted), Scutellaria (Huangqin) (each half liang).

*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for pediatric *ju* toxin with hard swelling, painful throbbing, and redness on all sides. Use Chou Redu Xiaozhong Qi Qing Gao.
Yangtao Root (Yangtao Gen), Rhubarb from Sichuan (Chuan Dahuang) (cut, raw use, each 1 liang), Scutellaria (Huangqin), Mung Bean Powder (Lvdou Fen), Phellodendron (Huangbai) (cut, each half liang), Adzuki Bean (Chixiaodou) (half fen).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a fine powder. Extract natural juice from Rapeseed (Yuntaicai), mix with a little honey to adjust the medication to appropriate thickness. Observe the size of the red swollen areas, spread evenly on raw silk, thickness about one qian, apply to the sore, replace when dry.
*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for pediatric *ju* swelling after ulceration and malignant sores, where pus is scant but flesh does not grow. Use Mituoseng San.
Lead Monoxide (Mituoseng) (1 liang), Coptis (Huanglian) (mustaches removed), Areca Nut (Binglang) (each 3 fen).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a fine powder, sprinkle onto the sore, apply three times daily.
*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for pediatric *ju* sores that do not heal for a long time. Use Songzhi Bingzi (Pine Resin Cake).
Pine Resin (Songzhi), Frankincense (Xunlu Xiang) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above herbs together, add a little salt, form into cakes, and apply to the sore. Healing occurs when the discharge ceases.
*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for pediatric *ju* after ulceration. Huanglian San.
Coptis (Huanglian) (mustaches removed), Phellodendron (Huangbai) (cut), Sanguisorba (Diyu) (cut), Angelica dahurica (Baizhi) (each half liang).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a fine powder. Mix with egg white, apply to old fine cloth, and patch onto the sore.

Angelica dahurica (Baizhi), Coptis (Huanglian) (mustaches removed), Sanguisorba (Diyu) (cut), White Peony Root (Bailian) (each half liang).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a fine powder. Mix with egg white, apply to old fine cloth, patch onto the sore, change three to four times daily.
*Sheng Hui Fang* formula for pediatric *ju* swelling with induration, whether suppurated or not. Patching formula.
Deer Antler (Luji) (powdered, 2 liang, burnt to ash), White Peony Root (Bailian) (1 liang), Rough-textured Yellow Stone (Culi Huangshi) (3 liang, burnt red, quenched in vinegar nine times).
Crush the above herbs and sieve into a fine powder, mix with vinegar to appropriate thickness. Apply thickly, reapply when dry, effective after five to seven applications.

Apply snake slough; it resolves naturally overnight.

Grind Manihot esculenta (Shanglu) thoroughly and apply.

Cardamom (Jishe Xiang), Costus root (Muxiang), Agarwood (Chenxiang) (each 1 liang), Ephedra (Mahuang) (roots and joints removed), Kelp (Haizao) (washed to remove saltiness), Rhubarb (Dahuang) (processed, each half liang).
Crush the above, sieve into coarse powder. Take one large qian per dose, decoct in one large cup of water with three to two drops of bamboo sap, reduce to half a cup, strain, take warm. Keep warm and wash the affected area with the decoction.
