Boil together with Baidu Ren in two cups of good vinegar until the vinegar is exhausted, remove the Baidu Ren, soak and wash in cold water, drain well, stir-fry Yuan Hua until dry. Pound into powder, take 2 fen for use). All the above ingredients are ground together into a fine powder, then milled again until as fine as flour. The Baidu Ren is separately ground into a paste, mixed evenly with the powder, and bound with a starch paste made by boiling water to form pills the size of small mung beans. If a child suffers from accumulation due to fright, with sticky and slippery toxic substances lodged in the spleen and stomach, and has undergone multiple purgations turning into deficiency accumulation, administer with date decoction. If there is body heat, lethargy and oppression, and eyes closed and difficult to open, dissolve approximately one zi of Calomel (Nifen,腻粉) in a decoction of Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian,黄连), Licorice Root (Gancao,甘草), Mint (Bohe,薄荷), and Peach Kernel (Taoren,桃仁). For children aged one to three years, administer two pills; for milder cases, only one pill, taken with rice drink. For adults suffering from vomiting and regurgitation due to food stagnation, abdominal distension and fullness, night sweats, and progressive emaciation, administer with ginger and date decoction. For women's blood and qi disorders, administer five to seven pills with rice vinegar decoction. Dosage should be adjusted according to excess or deficiency at the time of administration. The Zhang family inherited prescription is identical, named Zijin Dan (Purple Gold Pill). *Boji Fang* treats pediatric deficiency with accumulation, frequent high fever, irritability and thirst, and irregular organ function.
