凡是蝎子有雌雄之分，雄蝎子的疼痛固定在一处，雌蝎子的疼痛会牵连全身各处。如果是雄蝎子叮咬，用井底的泥涂抹，变温了就更换。如果是雌蝎子叮咬，用当瓦屋沟下的泥土敷在伤口上。如果正值无雨天气，可以用从屋顶淋下的新汲水取泥。

取牙齿中残留的饭粒敷在伤口上；或者用猪脂封住伤口；或者用射罔（一种毒药）封住伤口；或者用硇砂加水涂抹，立即痊愈。
《千金方》治疗蝎子叮咬方。
如果叮咬在手足部位，用冷水浸泡，水微暖就更换。叮咬在其他部位的，用冷水浸湿旧布敷在伤口上，稍暖就更换。
《千金方》治疗蜜蜂蜇伤毒方。
取瓦片摩擦伤口，唾液涂抹十四次，再将瓦片放回原处。

谭氏小儿方：治疗蜘蛛咬伤，全身起疮的方剂。
取一根葱，去掉尖头并打孔，将蚯蚓放入葱叶中，紧紧埋住两头，不让漏气，频繁摇动葱身直到化为水，点涂在咬伤处即痊愈。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿蛇咬伤方。
白矾、甘草（等分）。
以上药物捣罗成末。如果被蛇咬着，出现心神烦热躁动、眼前发黑的症状，用新汲水调服半钱；如果有红肿赤痛，用白矾、盐浆水、莴苣根等分，煎煮三五沸后淋洗，肿胀之气自然消退。如果是严重的蛇咬伤，来不及制备药物，用耳塞少许，塞入咬伤处的疮口内，滴一滴浓醋在疮内，出血即止。

以上药物混合捣烂敷在伤口上。

生椒（三两，去目）、豆豉（三合，炒黑焦）。
以上药物捣碎，罗筛成末，用唾液调和，看情况多少敷在伤口上，立定疼痛。

用半夏加水研磨后涂抹，立即见效。

用桂心加水磨汁涂抹。

头垢、苦参（末，各一分）。
以上药物研匀，用酒调和涂抹。

以上药物细研，用一大盏蓝汁搅拌均匀，点涂在咬伤处，立效。

取生铁上的锈衣，用醋研磨成浓汁涂抹。

干葛捣碎，罗筛成末，敷在伤口上。
The *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats snake and scorpion stings.
Consume juice of Allium macrostemon (Small Garlic), and apply the dregs to the wound. (*Zhouhou Beiji Fang* states: Treats pit viper bites.)
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Thoroughly pound Malva verticillata (Common Mallow) while cooked, extract the juice, and drink it.
*Qianjin Fang* treats snake bites:
Apply thick human feces paste, wrap with silk cloth, and the swelling will subside.
*Qianjin Fang* treats snake venom:
Melt beeswax and inject it into the wound. If not healed, melt and inject again.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Apply earwax from a sow to the wound. (*Zhouhou Beiji Fang* states: Earwax from a cow can also be used.)
*Qianjin Fang* treats scorpion venom:
Scorpions have male and female genders. The pain from a male scorpion is localized in one area, whereas the pain from a female scorpion radiates throughout the body. For a male scorpion sting, apply mud from the bottom of a well, replacing it when it warms up. For a female scorpion sting, apply mud from under the eaves of a tiled roof. If there has been no rain, collect mud by pouring fresh water down from the roof.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Apply residual food stuck in teeth to the wound; or seal with suet (pig fat); or seal with Aconitum carmichaelii processed with toxic herbs (She Weng); or mix Natrii Sulfas (Nao Sha) with water and apply for immediate cure.
*Qianjin Fang* treats scorpion stings:
If the sting is on the hands or feet, soak them in cold water, changing the water as it warms slightly. For stings elsewhere, soak an old cloth in cold water, apply to the wound, and change it as it warms slightly.
Another prescription from *Qianjin Fang*:
Mix powder of raw Aconitum carmichaelii (Sheng Wu Tou) with saliva and apply to the wound.
*Qianjin Fang* treats bee sting venom:
Rub a tile over the wound, spit on it fourteen times, and then place the tile back on the spot.
*Qianjin Fang* treats bee stings:
Honey and suet (each 5 he), beeswax (2 liang).
Boil these three ingredients together until they form a ointment. Let it cool and apply to the wound.

Tan Shi Xiao Er Fang: Treats spider bites causing widespread sores.
Take one green onion, remove the tip, make a hole, insert an earthworm into the onion leaf, bury both ends tightly to prevent gas leakage, shake frequently until it turns into water, and dab on the bite site for cure.
*Sheng Hui Fang* treats snake bites in children:
Alumen (Bai Fan) and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) in equal parts.
Grind these medicines into powder. If bitten by a snake, with symptoms of mental heat and restlessness or darkened vision, mix half a qian with fresh water and ingest. If there is swelling and redness, use Alumen, salty brine water, and Lactuca sativa root (Wo Ju Gen) in equal parts, boil for three to five boils, and rinse/wash the area; the swelling will subside spontaneously. For severe snake bites where medicine preparation is delayed, insert a small amount of earplug material into the wound, and drip a drop of strong vinegar into the wound to stop bleeding.
Another prescription from *Sheng Hui Fang*:
Capsicum frutescens (He Kou Jiao) and Xanthii Herba (Cang Er Miao), each 1 liang.
Mash these medicines together and apply.
Another prescription from *Sheng Hui Fang*:
Raw Capsicum frutescens (3 liang, remove seeds), Fermented Soybean (Dou Chi, 3 he, stir-fried until black and scorched).
Mash and sieve into powder, mix with saliva, and apply appropriate amount to stabilize pain immediately.

Chew Polygala tenuifolia (Yuan Zhi) until soft, apply to the wound and fill the wound cavity.

Mash and sieve into powder, mix with raw oil to form a paste. First warm the wound with fire, then apply to the bite site; highly effective.

Realgar (Xiong Huang, 2 fen) and Moschus (She Xiang, 0.5 fen).
Grind finely, mix with one da zhen of Indigofera tinctoria juice (Lan Zhi) until uniform, and dab on the bite site for immediate effect.

Acanthopanacis Senticosi Cortex (Wu Jia Pi, 1 liang) and Pinellia ternata (Ban Xia, 4 liang).
