清热散 治小儿一切热疮如神。

一方用土子末，细茶搽之。
头上疮疖 初起用铁灯台，一名金线重搂，又曰七叶一枝花，用醋磨搽之。

One method: Decoct Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma (Tuniuxi, 土牛膝) and take orally. One method: Burn Alum (Baifan, 白矾) and Gleditsia Sinensis Spina (Zaojiaoci, 皂角刺) to ash, grind into powder, and insufflate.
One method: Burn goose trachea to ash and insufflate. One method: Scrape human fingernails to ash and insufflate; it heals upon ulceration.
One method: Soak Grass Carp Gallbladder (Qingyu Dan, 青鱼胆) with mung bean flour until dry, add Borax (Yangpian, 洋片) fine powder, and insufflate.
One method: Mix Nido Hirundinis (Yanwo Tu, 燕窝土), Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄 - separately ground), Chicken Flapping Wing (Ji Paichi, 鸡拍翅), and Pteris Multifida (Fengweicao, 凤尾草) in equal parts. Mash together, mix with wine and vinegar, and apply to both sides of the external throat; effects are miraculous.

Tian She Tou (Herpetic Whitlow/Finger Inflammation): A white blister appears on the fingertip or beside the nail, commonly known as Finger Side Wind (Zhibian Feng, 指边风), unbearable pain. Quickly use Realgar (Mingxiong, 明雄) 1 qian, grind into fine powder, put into pig gallbladder, place over the finger, and tie tightly with silk thread.
One method: Mix Toad Venom (Chansu, 蟾酥) 5 fen, Musk (Cunxiang, 寸香) 5 fen, Realgar (Mingxiong, 明雄) 1 qian, and Bear Bile (Xiongdan, 熊胆) 2 fen. Grind into fine powder, mix with egg white, and apply as a poultice.
