丹溪云∶痰嗽、痰喘，并用涌法吐之，重剂瓜蒂散，轻剂苦参、赤小豆末，须
虾齑汁调服。
生白丸 治小儿痰涎不利，上喘咳嗽。
白附子（新罗者） 天南星（各半两） 半夏（一两）
上为末，用生姜汁打面糊为丸，如绿豆大。每服二十丸至三十丸，生姜汤下，量大小加减。
枳实汤 主伤风伤寒，胸满气促，咳嗽不活，食多夹痰吐出。

桔梗（七钱半，锉，炒）
上件 咀。每服二钱，水一盏，姜三片，煎七分，无时。
如意膏（见前 ）
半夏丸 治肺气不调，咳嗽喘满，痰涎壅塞，心下坚满。及风痰呕吐，恶心涕唾稠粘。
白矾（一两半，焙） 半夏（三两，汤泡七次，生姜汁制一宿）
上为末，生姜自然汁丸赤豆大。每服十丸，姜汤下。
《经验后方》大人小儿定喘化痰
上用猪蹄四十九个，净洗控干，每个指甲内半夏、白矾各一字，入罐子内封闭，
勿令烟出，火 通赤，去火，细研，入麝香一钱。人有上喘咳嗽，用糯米饮下，小儿半钱，至妙。
大效雄朱化痰定喘丸 治小儿因惊发喘，逆触心肺，暴急张口，虚烦神困。
雄黄 朱砂（各一钱，研） 蝉蜕 全蝎（炒） 地龙 白僵蚕 天南星 白附子（炮。各二钱半） 轻粉（半钱）
上为末，面糊丸如麻子大。每服三十丸，薄荷、茶清送下，食后服。
天麻定喘饮 治小儿喘嗽惊风。
天麻 防风 羌活 甘草 人参 桔梗 白术 川芎 半夏曲（各等分）
上锉散。每服二钱，水一盏，麦门冬十四粒，煎至七分，食后服。有热去白术，加芍药、枳壳。
云岐说：小儿体内积热、气逆上冲导致气喘的，使用四顺清凉饮子。
丹溪说：痰嗽、痰喘，都应当用涌吐法使其吐出，重剂使用瓜蒂散，轻剂使用苦参和赤小豆的粉末，必须用虾酱汁调服。
生白丸 治疗小儿痰涎不利、气逆上喘咳嗽。
白附子（选用新罗产的） 天南星（各半两） 半夏（一两）
将上述药材研为细末，用生姜汁调和面糊制成丸子，大小如绿豆。每次服用二十丸至三十丸，用生姜汤送下，根据患儿年龄大小酌情增减剂量。
枳实汤 主治伤风或伤寒引起的胸中胀满、气息急促、咳嗽不畅，以及进食后夹杂痰液吐出。
枳实（去除瓤，锉成片，用麦麸炒至微黄） 赤茯苓（去皮，各半两） 甘草（六钱） 半夏（七钱，用水煮透，滤出，再锉碎，焙干）
桔梗（七钱半，锉碎，炒制）
将上述药材切碎。每次取二钱，加水一盏，生姜三片，煎煮至七分水量，不拘时候服用。

白矾（一两半，焙干） 半夏（三两，用水浸泡七次，用生姜汁浸泡一夜）
将上述药材研为细末，用生姜自然汁制成如赤豆大小的丸子。每次服用十丸，用姜汤送下。
《经验后方》大人小儿定喘化痰方
取猪蹄四十九个，洗净控干，在每个指甲内放入半夏和白矾各“一字”量，放入罐子内封闭，不让烟气逸出，用火煨烧至通红，去掉火源，研磨成细粉，加入麝香一钱。人有上喘咳嗽症状时，用糯米饮送服，小儿服用半钱，效果极佳。
大效雄朱化痰定喘丸 治疗小儿因受惊引发的气喘，气逆冲击心肺，突然张口喘息，虚烦神疲困倦。
雄黄 朱砂（各一钱，研细） 蝉蜕 全蝎（炒制） 地龙 白僵蚕 天南星 白附子（炮制，各二钱半） 轻粉（半钱）
将上述药材研为细末，用面糊制成如麻子大小的丸子。每次服用三十丸，用薄荷水、茶清送下，饭后服用。
天麻定喘饮 治疗小儿喘嗽惊风。
天麻 防风 羌活 甘草 人参 桔梗 白术 川芎 半夏曲（各等分）
将上述药材锉成散剂。每次取二钱，加水一盏，麦门冬十四粒，煎煮至七分水量，饭后服用。若有热象，去掉白术，加入芍药、枳壳。
Yun Qi stated: For infants and children with accumulated heat causing rebellious qi and wheezing, Si Shun Qing Liang Yin Zi (Four-Obedience Cooling Clearing Decoction) is used.
Dan Xi stated: For phlegm-induced cough and wheezing, the method of inducing vomiting should be employed to expel the phlegm. A heavy dosage uses Gua Di San (Melon Seed Powder), while a light dosage uses powder of Kansui Root (Gansui, 甘遂) or in this context, Sophora Root (Kushen, 苦参) and Adzuki Bean (Chixiaodou, 赤小豆), which must be taken mixed with shrimp paste juice.
Sheng Bai Wan (Raw White Pill) treats difficult discharge of phlegm-saliva, rebellious qi with wheezing, and cough in infants and children.
Bai Fu Zi (Aconitum Kusnezoffii Rhizome, selected from Xinluo) Tian Nan Xing (Arisaema Cum Bile, each half tael) Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, one tael)
Grind the above into fine powder. Use ginger juice to mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 20 to 30 pills per dose, washed down with ginger decoction. Adjust the dose according to the child's age and constitution.
Zhi Shi Tang (Immature Bitter Orange Decoction) primarily treats chest fullness, shortness of breath, unproductive cough, and vomiting of food mixed with phlegm caused by wind-cold or cold damage.
Zhi Shi (Immature Bitter Orange Fruit, remove pulp, slice, stir-fry with bran until slightly yellow) Chi Fu Ling (Poria with Red Cortex, remove skin, each half tael) Gan Cao (Licorice Root, six qian) Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, seven qian, boil thoroughly in water, filter, cut again, and dry)
Jie Geng (Platycodon Root, seven qian and half, cut, stir-fry)
Cut the above ingredients. Take two qian per dose, add one cup of water and three slices of ginger, decoct until七分 (7/10) remains. Take at any time.
Ru Yi Gao (Ruyi Ointment) (See previous section)
Ban Xia Wan (Pinellia Pill) treats irregular lung qi causing cough, wheezing, chest fullness, accumulation of phlegm-saliva, and hardness/fullness below the heart. It also treats vomiting, nausea, and thick sticky nasal discharge and saliva caused by wind-phlegm.
Bai Fan (Alumen, one tael and half, bake) Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, three taels, soak in water seven times, process with ginger juice overnight)
Grind the above into fine powder. Use natural ginger juice to form pills the size of adzuki beans. Take ten pills per dose, washed down with ginger decoction.
"Experience Posterior Formulas" Adult and Child Anti-Wheezing and Phlegm-Resolving Formula
Take forty-nine pig trotters, wash clean and drain. Place a "yi zi" (approx. 0.5-1 gram) quantity of Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) and Bai Fan (Alumen) inside the nail bed of each trotter. Seal in a jar, ensuring no smoke escapes. Fire-roast until red hot. Remove from fire, grind finely, and add one qian of Moschus (She Xiang, 麝香). For patients with rebellious qi and cough, take with rice gruel. Infants take half a qian. This is highly effective.
Da Xiao Xiong Zhu Hua Tan Ding Chuan Wan (Great Efficacy Realgar and Cinnabar Phlegm-Resolving and Anti-Wheezing Pill) treats infantile wheezing triggered by fright, where rebellious qi strikes the heart and lungs, causing sudden open-mouth breathing, empty irritability, and mental fatigue.
Xiong Huang (Realgar) Zhu Sha (Cinnabar, each one qian, grind) Chan Tui (Cicada Slough) Quan Xie (Scorpio, stir-fried) Di Long (Pheretima, Earthworm) Bai Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus, Stiff Silkworm) Tian Nan Xing (Arisaema Cum Bile) Bai Fu Zi (Aconitum Kusnezoffii Rhizome, processed, each two qian and half) Qing Fen (Calomelas, half qian)
Grind the above into fine powder. Use wheat flour paste to form pills the size of sesame seeds. Take thirty pills per dose, washed down with mint water and tea infusion. Take after meals.
Tian Ma Ding Chuan Yin (Gastrodia Anti-Wheezing Decoction) treats infantile wheezing, cough, and convulsive wind.
Tian Ma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma) Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix) Gan Cao (Licorice Root) Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix) Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) Ban Xia Qu (Pinelliae Fermented Paste, equal parts)
Cut the above into coarse powder. Take two qian per dose, add one cup of water and fourteen grains of Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Tuber), decoct until七分 (7/10) remains. Take after meals. If there is heat, remove Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) and add Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) and Zhi Ke (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus).
