苍术猪肝散
苍术（米泔浸，炒，八两） 谷精草（一两）
共为末，用猪肝一具煮烂，同前药为末，米饮下，食后服，或酒下。
蛤粉散
蛤粉（一两） 夜明沙（一两五钱）
黄蜡化开为丸，如枣子大，用猪肝一具，
入丸于内，麻线扎，井水煮热，乘热薰眼至温，吃猪肝，并汁，以愈为度。
目有太阳穴疼痛，日夜呻吟何也？答曰∶七情之液盛，名曰头风。宜点珍珠散，服太阳丹（方见十七问），有
翳点推云散（方见十四问）。
目有拳毛倒睫，上皮搭下皮，有翳膜者何故？答曰∶膀胱经热也，宜夹起上皮，灸一壮，用 鼻散，服地黄
丸。如不用夹，只用粉霜敷上亦好。
鼻散 并治内外障。

共为粗末，炒黑色，加乳香、麝香少许，再研细末，吹鼻中。
地黄丸 （十二问地黄丸与此不同）
熟地 川芎 人参 当归 白蒺藜
共为细末蜜丸，食后茶下。
目有青膜遮瞳仁，视物不明者何也？答曰∶肾虚也。宜服巴菊枸杞丸。肝经虚热，下弦白，曰冰眵障，服明
目地黄丸（方见十二问）。先点老膜散（方见二十七问），二三日点推云散（方见十四问），将愈，点珍珠虎液
膏，戒酒色。
巴菊枸杞丸
川巴戟（去心，三两） 菊花（一两） 枸杞（六两） 肉苁蓉（酒洗，四两）
共为末，蜜丸，每服五十丸，盐汤下。
眼睛在傍晚时分看不见东西，这是什么原因？回答说：这是雀盲（夜盲症），那种含糊不清、模棱两可的说法，不是正确的道理。应当先服用苍术猪肝散、蛤粉散。

将丸药放入猪肝内，用麻线扎紧，用井水煮热，趁热气熏蒸眼睛至温度适宜时，吃下猪肝及其汤汁，以痊愈为度。
眼睛太阳穴部位疼痛，日夜呻吟，这是什么原因？回答说：七情（喜、怒、忧、思、悲、恐、惊）之液过盛，名为头风。应当点用珍珠散，服用太阳丹（方剂见第十七问），有翳膜者推云散（方剂见第十四问）。
眼睛出现拳毛倒睫（睫毛向内生长刺入眼球），上眼皮搭在下眼皮上，且有翳膜，这是什么缘故？回答说：这是膀胱经有热邪所致，应当夹起上眼皮，灸一壮，使用鼻散，服用地黄丸。如果不使用夹法，只用轻粉敷在上面也可以。

What is the reason for being unable to see objects at bedtime? The answer is: This is *que mang* (night blindness). Vague and ambiguous explanations are not the correct principle. One should first take Cangzhu Zhugan San (Caulis Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Pig Liver Powder) and Ha Fen San (Shell Powder Powder).
**Cangzhu Zhugan San (Caulis Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Pig Liver Powder)**
*Cangzhu* (Atractylodis Rhizoma, soaked in rice wash water, stir-fried, eight liang) *Gujingcao* (Evodiae Fructus, one liang)
Grind together into powder. Take one pig liver, boil until soft, mix with the aforementioned powder. Take with rice drink after meals, or take with wine.
**Ha Fen San (Shell Powder Powder)**
*Ha fen* (Concha Meretricis et Cyprinis, one liang) *Yeming sha* (Guano, one liang five qian)
Melt yellow wax to form pills the size of a jujube. Take one pig liver, insert the pills inside, tie tightly with hemp thread. Boil in well water until hot. While hot, fumigate the eyes until warm. Eat the pig liver and its juice. Continue until cured.
What is the reason for pain in the temporal region of the eyes and groaning day and night? The answer is: Excess fluids from the seven emotions (joy, anger, worry, thought, sadness, fear, fright), named *tou feng* (head wind). One should apply Zhenzhu San (Pearl Powder), take Taiyang Dan (Taiyang Pill [formula seen in Question 17]). For those with nebulae, use Tuiyun San (Pushing Clouds Powder [formula seen in Question 14]).
What is the cause of inverted eyelashes (eyelashes growing inward towards the eyeball), the upper eyelid drooping over the lower eyelid, accompanied by nebulae? The answer is: Heat in the Bladder meridian. One should clamp up the upper eyelid, moxibustion for one cone (*zhuang*), use Bi San (Nasal Powder), and take Dihuang Wan (Rehmannia Pill). If clamping is not used, applying Qingshuang (Calomel/White Precipitate) on top is also good.
**Bi San (Nasal Powder)** treats both internal and external nebulae.
*Mahuang* (Ephedrae Herba, one qian) *Guishen* (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, one qian)
Grind into coarse powder, stir-fry until black. Add a small amount of *Ruxiang* (Boswelliae Resina) and *Shexiang* (Moschus). Grind into fine powder again. Blow into the nose.
**Dihuang Wan (Rehmannia Pill)** (The Dihuang Wan in Question 12 is different from this one.)

Grind into fine powder, make honey pills. Take with tea after meals.
What is the reason for a green membrane covering the pupil and unclear vision? The answer is: Kidney deficiency. One should take Baji Gouqi Wan (Morinda, Chrysanthemum, and Lycium Pill). Deficient heat in the Liver meridian, with white discharge during the waning moon phase, is called *bing chi zhang* (ice discharge nebula). Take Mingmu Dihuang Wan (Bright-Eye Rehmannia Pill [formula seen in Question 12]). First apply Laomo San (Old Membrane Powder [formula seen in Question 27]). After two or three days, apply Tuiyun San (Pushing Clouds Powder [formula seen in Question 14]). As it nears cure, apply Zhenzhu Huye Gao (Pearl Tiger Liquid Ointment). Abstain from alcohol and sexual indulgence.
**Baji Gouqi Wan (Morinda, Chrysanthemum, and Lycium Pill)**
