治冬时伏邪。发于少阴。咽痛不瘥。及风热肺气不清。喘嗽喉仲介介如梗状。肺痿肺痈初起。
并得服之。
桔梗 甘草（各三钱）
上二味。水煎。缓缓服之。
利金汤 治肺燥涩。不利而咳。
桔梗汤加贝母、橘红、枳壳、茯苓、生姜、白蜜。
枳壳煮散 治咳引胁下痛。
桔梗汤加枳壳、细辛、川芎、防风、葛根、生姜、红枣。
清肺汤 治痘疹肺热。喘嗽吐痰。
桔梗汤加麦门冬、款冬花、杏仁、贝母、牛蒡子。
生地黄散 治斑疹肺热。喘咳衄血。
桔梗汤加麦冬、生地、款冬、杏仁。为散。煎服二钱。一方。无杏仁。多橘皮。
生圣散 治痘出不快。溺赤咳痰。
桔梗汤加黄芩、枳壳、木通。为散。煎服二钱。
十六味桔梗汤 治肺壅实热。唾秽痰。
桔梗汤加薏苡、贝母、当归、桑皮、栝蒌仁、百合、枳壳、葶苈、五味、地骨皮、知母、
防己、黄 、杏仁。
葶苈薏苡泻肺汤 治肺痈初溃。吐脓血。
桔梗汤本方甘草用节。加薏苡、贝母、橘红、黄 、忍冬、白芨、葶苈、生姜。初起。去黄
加防风。溃后脓血去多。加人参。
溃久不敛。加合欢皮。
金匮排脓汤 治内痈脓从呕出。
桔梗汤加生姜、大枣。水煎。日二服。
金匮排脓散 治内痈脓从便出。
桔梗汤去甘草加枳实、芍药为散。取鸡子黄一枚。以药与鸡子黄相等揉和。饮和服之。日一服。
治疗冬季潜伏的邪气，发作于少阴经，导致咽喉疼痛且久治不愈。以及因风热之邪导致肺气不清，出现气喘咳嗽，喉咙中感觉如有异物梗塞状。肺痿、肺痈初起阶段，也都可以服用此方。
以上两味药，用水煎煮，缓缓服用。
利金汤：治疗肺燥涩滞，气道不利而引发的咳嗽。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入贝母、橘红、枳壳、茯苓、生姜、白蜜。
枳壳煮散：治疗咳嗽牵引胁下疼痛。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入枳壳、细辛、川芎、防风、葛根、生姜、红枣。
清肺汤：治疗痘疹引起的肺热，伴有气喘咳嗽、吐痰。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入麦门冬、款冬花、杏仁、贝母、牛蒡子。
生地黄散：治疗斑疹引起的肺热，伴有气喘咳嗽、鼻衄出血。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入麦冬、生地、款冬、杏仁。制成散剂，每次煎服二钱。另一版本方剂，不加杏仁，多加橘皮。
生圣散：治疗痘疹发出迟缓，小便赤黄，咳嗽有痰。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入黄芩、枳壳、木通。制成散剂，每次煎服二钱。
十六味桔梗汤：治疗肺壅实热，吐出污秽之痰。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入薏苡仁、贝母、当归、桑白皮、栝蒌仁、百合、枳壳、葶苈子、五味子、地骨皮、知母、防己、黄芩、杏仁。
葶苈薏苡泻肺汤：治疗肺痈初溃，吐出脓血。
使用桔梗汤原方，但将甘草改为甘草节。加入薏苡仁、贝母、橘红、黄芩、忍冬、白芨、葶苈子、生姜。疾病初起时，去掉黄芩，加入防风。溃破后若脓血流失过多，加入人参。
若溃破日久伤口不愈合，加入合欢皮。
金匮排脓汤：治疗体内痈脓从呕吐而出。
在桔梗汤的基础上，加入生姜、大枣。用水煎煮，每日服用两次。
金匮排脓散：治疗体内痈脓从大便排出。
在桔梗汤中去掉甘草，加入枳实、芍药，制成散剂。取鸡蛋黄一枚，将药物与鸡蛋黄混合揉匀，调和后服用，每日一次。
Treats latent pathogens from winter that manifest in the Shaoyin (Lesser Yin) channel, causing persistent sore throat. It is also indicated for wind-heat impairing Lung Qi clarity, resulting in wheezing and coughing with a sensation of obstruction in the throat (feeling like something is stuck). It can be taken during the early stages of Lung Abscess (Fei Yong) and Lung Withering (Fei Fei).
Jiegeng Tang (Platycodon Decoction):
Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) — each 3 qian.
Decoct these two ingredients in water and take slowly.
Lijin Tang (Benefit Metal Decoction):
Indicated for dryness and astringency in the Lung, leading to difficult breathing and cough.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Beimu (Flos Fritillariae Cirrhosae), Juhong (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Rubrum), Zhike (Fructus Aurantii), Fuling (Sclerotium Poriae Cocos), Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), and Baimi (Mell).
Zhike Zhusan (Aurantii Fructus Powder Decoction):
Indicated for cough radiating pain to the hypochondrium.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Zhike (Fructus Aurantii), Xixin (Herba Asari), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Gegen (Radix Puerariae Lobatae), Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), and Hongzao (Fructus Jujubae).
Qingfei Tang (Clear Lung Decoction):
Indicated for Lung heat caused by smallpox/rash, accompanied by wheezing, coughing, and expectoration.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Maimendong (Radix Ophiopogonis), Kuandonghua (Flos Farfarae), Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae), Beimu (Flos Fritillariae Cirrhosae), and Niubangzi (Fructus Arctii).
Shengdi Huang San (Rehmannia Powder):
Indicated for Lung heat from macules/petechiae, accompanied by wheezing, coughing, and epistaxis.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis), Shengdi (Radix Rehmanniae), Kuitong (Flos Farfarae), and Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae). Prepare as a powder; decoct and take 2 qian per dose. Another variation excludes Xingren and adds more Jupi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae).
Shengsheng San (Holy Saver Powder):
Indicated for delayed eruption of smallpox/rash, red urine, cough, and phlegm.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Zhike (Fructus Aurantii), and Mutong (Caulis Akebiae Trifoliate). Prepare as a powder; decoct and take 2 qian per dose.
Shiliuwei Jiegeng Tang (Sixteen-Ingredient Platycodon Decoction):
Indicated for Lung congestion with excess heat, expectorating foul-smelling phlegm.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Yiyiren (Semen Coicis), Beimu (Flos Fritillariae Cirrhosae), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Sangbai (Cortex Mori), Gualouren (Semen Benincasae), Baihe (Bulbus Lilii), Zhike (Fructus Aurantii), Tinglizi (Semen Lepidii seu Descurainiae), Wuweizi (Fructus Schisandrae), Digupi (Cortex Lycii), Zhimu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae), Fangji (Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), and Xingren (Semen Pruni Armeniacae).
Tingli Yiyi Xiefei Tang (Descurainia and Coix Lung-Purging Decoction):
Indicated for early ulceration of Lung Abscess, expectorating pus and blood.
Formula: Base formula of Jiegeng Tang, using Gancao Jie (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma cum nodis) instead of standard Gancao. Add Yiyiren (Semen Coicis), Beimu (Flos Fritillariae Cirrhosae), Juhong (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Rubrum), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Rendong (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae), Baiji (Rhizoma Bletillae), Tinglizi (Semen Lepidii seu Descurainiae), and Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens). In the initial stage, remove Huangqin and add Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae). After ulceration, if there is significant loss of pus and blood, add Renshen (Radix Ginseng). If the ulcer persists without healing, add Hehuanpi (Cortex Albiziae).
Jingui Painong Tang (Golden Cabinet Pus-Discharging Decoction):
Indicated for internal abscess where pus is vomited out.
Formula: Jiegeng Tang plus Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) and Dazao (Fructus Jujubae). Decoct in water; take twice daily.
Jingui Painong San (Golden Cabinet Pus-Discharging Powder):
Indicated for internal abscess where pus is discharged via stool.
Formula: Remove Gancao from Jiegeng Tang, add Zhishi (Fructus Aurantii Immaturus) and Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba), prepare as a powder. Take one egg yolk; mix the powder with the egg yolk until uniform, then take mixed with water once daily.
