治阴极发躁。厥冷脉伏。爪甲唇青。水肿脉伏。小便不通。阴结畏寒。大便秘。
明净硫黄五两。研细水飞入炀成罐内。水调赤石脂末封口。盐泥通身固济候干。三足钉钉于地。
将罐放钉上。慢火烧养七昼夜。再加顶火。用炭十斤为度。候冷取出研细。每末一两用蒸饼一两。
打糊为丸。梧子大。每服二三十
丸。温白汤送下。阴极冷甚者服百丸。
灵砂丹（局方） 治上盛下。虚痰涎壅盛。最能镇坠虚火。升降阴阳。和五脏。助真元。

上二味新铫内炒成砂子。入水火鼎 炼为末。糯米糊丸。如麻子大。每服三丸。空心。枣汤、
米汤、井花水、人参汤任下。量病轻重。可增至五七丸。忌猪羊血绿豆粉冷滑之物。又法。入炀成
内。赤石脂封口。盐泥固济。三足钉钉打火。盏内置水勿令干。候三炷香足为度。
二气丹 治伏暑伤冷。二气交错。中脘痞结。或泻或吐。
硝石 硫黄（等分。）
右为细末。银石器内炒黄色。再研细。糯米糊丸。梧子大。每服五七丸。新汲井花水下。
不应更服。
玉真丸 治肾厥头痛四肢逆冷。

为末姜汁和神曲丸。食后姜汤下二三十丸。虚寒甚者。加钟乳粉。
半硫丸（局方） 治高年冷秘虚秘。及 癖冷气。

上二味等分。用生姜自然汁。调蒸饼糊。杵数百下。丸如梧子大。每服十五丸至二十丸。
空心。无灰酒或生姜汤任

养正丹（局方） 治上盛下虚。气不升降。元阳亏损。气短身羸。及中风痰盛涎潮不省人事。
伤寒阴盛自汗唇青。妇人血海久冷。

用铁铫熔化黑锡入水银。将柳木槌搅次下朱砂。搅令不见星子。下少时。方入硫黄末。急搅成汁。

人参汤任下。或丸如芡实。囫囵服一丸。得睡勿惊觉。
来复丹（局方） 治上盛下虚。里寒外热。及伏暑泄泻如水。

黑锡丹（局方） 治真元亏惫。阳气不固。阴气逆冲。三焦不和。冷气刺痛。腰背沉重。
男子精冷滑泄。妇人白带清冷及阴证阴毒。四肢厥冷。不省人事。急吞百丸。即使回阳。大能升降阴阳。
坠痰定喘。
沉香 附子（炮） 胡芦巴（酒浸。炒） 阳起石（ 。飞。） 补骨脂 舶上茴香 肉豆蔻（煨）
金铃子（酒蒸。去皮核。） 木香（各一两。） 肉桂（半两。） 黑锡（熔。去渣。） 硫黄（各二两。）
上用黑锡入铁铫内熔化。入硫黄如常法制。结成砂子。地上出火毒。研令极细。余药并细末和匀。
自朝至暮。研至黑光色为度。酒曲糊丸。如梧子大。阴干。藏铅罐内。每服四五十丸。空心盐汤或枣汤、
姜汤任下。妇人艾汤下。急证可投百丸。
三和丹 治一切阴寒。诸药不效者。
养正丹十丸。来复丹二十丸。黑锡丹三十丸。盐汤、枣汤、姜汤、人参汤任下。
治疗阴寒至极引发的烦躁。四肢厥冷，脉象沉伏，指甲和嘴唇发青。水肿且脉象沉伏，小便不通。阴结证伴畏寒，大便秘结。
取明净硫黄五两，研磨细后用水飞法处理，放入烧红的罐内。用水调和赤石脂粉末封口，用盐泥通身加固密封，待干后，在地上钉入三个钉子。将罐放在钉子上，用慢火煅养七昼夜，再增加顶火，以炭十斤为限度。待冷却后取出，研磨成细粉。每取药末一两，配蒸饼一两，打糊制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用二三十丸，用温白开水送服。若阴寒极重、寒冷严重者，服用一百丸。
灵砂丹（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）：治疗上盛下虚，虚痰涎沫壅盛。最能镇潜坠降虚火，调节阴阳升降，调和五脏，扶助真元。
水银四两，硫黄一两。
以上两味药在新铁锅中炒成砂状，放入水火鼎中炼制成粉末。用糯米糊制成麻子大小的丸剂。每次服用三丸，空腹时，可用枣汤、米汤、井泉水或人参汤任一种送服。根据病情轻重，可增至五至七丸。忌食猪羊血、绿豆粉及生冷滑腻之物。另一种方法：放入烧红的罐中，用赤石脂封口，盐泥加固密封，地上钉三足钉钉住，点火煅烧，盏内置水不要让它干涸，待燃尽三炷香的时间为限度。
二气丹：治疗伏暑伤冷，二气交错，导致中脘部痞塞结聚，或者腹泻或者呕吐。
硝石与硫黄等分。
以上两味研成细末，在银器或石器内炒至黄色，再研磨细。用糯米糊制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用五至七丸，用新汲取的井泉水送服。如果无效，再次服用。
硝石与硫黄（这两味药同制如二气丹的方法），生石膏，半夏（用热水浸泡七次，各等分）。
研成粉末，用姜汁调和神曲制成丸剂。饭后用姜汤送服二三十丸。若虚寒严重，加入钟乳粉。
半硫丸（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）：治疗老年人冷秘、虚秘，以及癖积冷气。
硫黄（用醋淬，柳木槌捣碎，研磨），半夏（热水浸泡，晒干研末）。
以上两味等分，用生姜自然汁，调和蒸饼糊，杵捣数百下，制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用十五丸至二十丸，空腹时，可用无灰酒或生姜汤任一种送服。妇女用醋汤送服。
养正丹（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）：治疗上盛下虚，气机不升降，元阳亏损，气短身体消瘦，以及中风痰盛、涎潮导致不省人事。伤寒阴盛自汗、嘴唇发青，妇人血海久冷。
水银，黑锡（与水银结成砂状），硫黄（研磨），朱砂（水飞，各一两，纯净）。
用铁锅熔化黑锡，加入水银，用柳木槌搅拌，随后加入朱砂，搅拌直到看不见星点。过一会儿，再加入硫黄末，快速搅拌成汁液。混合均匀，如果有火焰，用醋喷洒。待冷却后取出，研磨细。煮糯米糊制成绿豆大小的丸剂。每次服用十五丸至三十丸，用盐汤或枣汤、人参汤任一种送服。或者制成芡实大小的丸剂，整丸吞服一丸，使其入睡，不要惊动使其醒来。
来复丹（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）：治疗上盛下虚，里寒外热，以及伏暑泄泻如水样。
硝石与硫黄（同硝石研成末，在银石器内用慢火炒，用柳木槌搅拌，不可用猛火以免损伤药力），太阴元精石（水飞），青皮（去瓤），陈皮（去白，各一两），五灵脂（酒飞，去砂石，澄清晾干，二两）。
研成粉末。古法用醋和丸，米饮送服。因为醋容易使药霉坏，现在改用米饮糊丸，梧桐子大小。每次服用三十丸，空腹时用醋汤送服。
黑锡丹（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）：治疗真元亏乏疲惫，阳气不固，阴气逆冲，三焦不和，冷气刺痛，腰背沉重。男子精冷滑泄，妇人白带清冷以及阴证阴毒，四肢厥冷，不省人事。急症时吞服一百丸，即可回阳。此方能大补升降阴阳，坠痰定喘。
沉香，附子（炮制），胡芦巴（酒浸，炒），阳起石（煅，飞），补骨脂，舶上茴香，肉豆蔻（煨），金铃子（酒蒸，去皮核），木香（各一两），肉桂（半两），黑锡（熔化，去渣），硫黄（各二两）。
以上用黑锡放入铁锅中熔化，加入硫黄按常规法制，结成砂状。在地上退去火毒，研磨至极细。其余药物也研成细末混合均匀。从早到晚，研磨至呈现黑色光泽为限度。用酒曲糊制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，阴干，藏在铅罐内。每次服用四五十丸，空腹时用盐汤或枣汤、姜汤任一种送服。妇女用艾叶汤送服。急证可投服一百丸。
Treats restlessness caused by extreme Yin-cold. Cold limbs, deep and hidden pulse, cyanosis of nails and lips. Edema with a deep and hidden pulse, inability to urinate. Yin-binding syndrome with aversion to cold, constipation.
Take five taels of pure sulfur, grind it finely, process by water flotation, and place it in a red-hot jar. Seal the mouth with a paste made of water and cinnabar powder (Chishizhi), seal the entire jar with salt mud, let it dry, then fix three iron nails on the ground. Place the jar on the nails. Roast slowly over low fire for seven days and nights, then increase the top fire, using ten jin of charcoal as the limit. After cooling, take it out and grind into fine powder. For every one tael of powder, use one tael of steamed bread dough to make a paste, form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take 20-30 pills each time, swallowed with warm plain water. In cases of extreme cold due to severe Yin-cold, take 100 pills.
Lingsha Dan (Spirit Sand Pill) [from *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]: Treats excess above and deficiency below, accumulation of deficient phlegm and saliva. It is most effective in subduing and descending deficient fire, regulating the ascending and descending of Yin and Yang, harmonizing the Five Zang organs, and assisting the True Yuan (Original Qi).
Mercury (four taels), Sulfur (one tael).
Stir-fry these two ingredients in a new iron pot until they become sand-like. Smelt them in a water-fire tripod into powder. Form pills with glutinous rice paste, the size of sesame seeds. Take three pills each time. On an empty stomach, swallow with date decoction, rice soup, well water, or Ginseng decoction, whichever is suitable. Depending on the severity of the illness, the dose can be increased to 5-7 pills. Avoid pig and sheep blood, mung bean flour, and other cold and slippery foods. Another method: Place in a red-hot jar, seal with cinnabar powder, reinforce with salt mud, fix three feet with nails, ignite fire. Place a cup with water inside so it does not dry up. Stop when three incense sticks have burned down.
Erqi Dan (Two Qi Pill): Treats latent summerheat injuring cold, where the two Qi interact, causing epigastric fullness and obstruction, accompanied by diarrhea or vomiting.
Niter (Potassium Nitrate) and Sulfur in equal parts.
Grind both into fine powder. Stir-fry in a silver or stone vessel until yellow, then grind finely again. Form pills with glutinous rice paste, the size of sophora seeds. Take 5-7 pills each time, swallowed with newly drawn well water. If ineffective, take again.
Yuzhen Wan (Jade True Pill): Treats headache due to Kidney-Jue syndrome with cold extremities.
Niter (Potassium Nitrate) and Sulfur (processed similarly to Erqi Dan), Raw Gypsum (Shigao), Pinellia Ternata Rhizome (Banxia, soaked in hot water seven times), all in equal parts.
Grind into powder, mix with ginger juice and Shenqu (Medicated Leaven) to form pills. Take 20-30 pills after meals, swallowed with ginger soup. In cases of severe deficiency-cold, add Colloides Stalactitum (Zhongru Fen).
Banshu Wan (Half-Sulfur Pill) [from *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]: Treats cold constipation and deficiency constipation in the elderly, as well as cold qi accumulation in hypochondriac masses.
Sulfur (quenched with vinegar, crushed with willow wood pestle, ground), Pinellia Ternata Rhizome (Banxia, soaked in hot water, dried and ground).
Mix these two ingredients in equal parts. Use natural juice of fresh ginger to mix with steamed bread paste, pound hundreds of times, form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take 15-20 pills each time. On an empty stomach, swallow with non-grain alcohol or ginger soup, whichever is suitable. Women should swallow with vinegar soup.
Yangzheng Dan (Nourishing Righteousness Pill) [from *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]: Treats excess above and deficiency below, failure of Qi to ascend and descend, depletion of Primordial Yang, shortness of breath, emaciation, stroke with excessive phlegm and salivation leading to unconsciousness. Spontaneous sweating and cyanotic lips due to Yin-excess in Cold Damage, long-standing cold in the Blood Sea in women.
Mercury, Black Tin (formed into sand with mercury), Sulfur (ground), Cinnabar (Zhu Sha, water-flown, one tael each, purified).
Melt Black Tin in an iron pot, add Mercury, stir with a willow wood pestle, then add Cinnabar, stirring until no star-like particles are visible. After a while, add Sulfur powder, stir quickly until it becomes liquid. Mix evenly. If flames appear, sprinkle with vinegar. After cooling, take out and grind finely. Boil glutinous rice paste to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 15-30 pills each time, swallowed with salt soup, date soup, or Ginseng decoction, whichever is suitable. Alternatively, form pills the size of Chinese chestnuts, swallow one whole pill whole, allowing the patient to fall asleep without being disturbed.
Laifu Dan (Returning Harmony Pill) [from *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]: Treats excess above and deficiency below, interior cold with exterior heat, and summerheat-induced diarrhea resembling water.
Niter (Potassium Nitrate) and Sulfur (ground together with Niter, slow-roasted in a silver/stone vessel, stirred with willow wood pestle; do not use high fire to avoid damaging medicinal potency), Taiyin Yuanjing Stone (water-flown), Green Tangerine Peel (Qingpi, pith removed), Aged Tangerine Peel (Chenpi, white pith removed, one tael each), Trogopterus Dung (Wulingzhi, flown with wine, free of sand/gravel, clarified and sun-dried, two taels).
Grind into powder. Ancient methods used vinegar to form pills, taken with rice drink. Because vinegar causes moldiness, now use rice drink paste to form pills, the size of sophora seeds. Take 30 pills each time, swallowed with vinegar soup on an empty stomach.
Heixi Dan (Black Tin Pill) [from *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]: Treats depletion of True Yuan, insecurity of Yang Qi, counterflow of Yin Qi, disharmony of the Triple Burner, stabbing pain from cold qi, heaviness of waist and back. Cold semen and seminal emission in men, clear and cold leukorrhea in women, Yin syndromes and Yin toxins, cold limbs, unconsciousness. In emergencies, swallow 100 pills immediately to restore Yang. This formula greatly regulates the ascending and descending of Yin and Yang, subdues phlegm, and calms asthma.
Agarwood (Chenxiang), Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, processed), Fermented Soybean Seed (Huluba, soaked in wine, stir-fried), Fibrous Augite (Yangqishi, calcined, flown), Psoralea Fruit (Buguzhi), Imported Fennel (Bo Shang Huixiang), Nutmeg (Roudoukou, baked), Golden Bell Fruit (Jinlingzi, steamed in wine, skin and core removed), Costus Root (Muxiang, one tael each), Cassia Bark (Rougui, half tael), Black Tin (Heixi, melted, dregs removed), Sulfur (two taels each).
Melt Black Tin in an iron pot, add Sulfur and process normally to form sand-like granules. Remove fire toxicity on the ground, grind extremely fine. Grind remaining medicines into fine powder and mix evenly. Grind from morning till night until it achieves a black luster. Form pills with yeast paste, the size of sophora seeds. Dry in shade, store in lead jars. Take 40-50 pills each time, swallowed with salt soup, date soup, or ginger soup on an empty stomach, whichever is suitable. Women should swallow with Mugwort soup. In emergencies, administer 100 pills.
Sanhe Dan (Three Harmonies Pill): Treats all Yin-cold conditions where other medicines are ineffective.
Ten pills of Yangzheng Dan, twenty pills of Laifu Dan, thirty pills of Heixi Dan. Swallow with salt soup, date soup, ginger soup, or Ginseng decoction, whichever is suitable.
