It also treats chronic accumulation of cold flowing into the chest and heart causing pain, as well as cold rushing upward, blood disorders from falling from horses or carts, etc. Dietary restrictions follow standard methods.
Yu Jiayan stated: The nine types of heart pain are severe manifestations of external pathogens, which is another name for Kidney Evil attacking the Heart or Hongjiao (Gout) rushing to the Heart. Prolonged pain leads to blood stasis, and Yin pathogens bind together. By adding Shengyelangya, Badou, and Wuzhuyu to warming and dispersing herbs, the goal is to expel the pathogen through the Yin orifices. Because the pathogen occupies the chest, forming a solid fortress, unless its nest is destroyed, the pathogen will never exit.

Stop when mild diarrhea occurs; it is not necessary to finish all preparations.

The above six herbs are pounded into fine powder, mixed with refined white honey to form pills the size of mulberry seeds. Take three pills per dose with cold wine. Pain at the most painful point should cease upon sensation. If it does not stop, increase to five or six pills, stopping when effective. If taken early with no effect, take three more pills at noon. For chronic heart pain, take three pills every morning, increasing to ten pills. After finishing the course, it will not recur. Avoid pork and raw green onions.
