甘、酸、温。入足厥阴经。散无形质之滞气。治瘤 赤肿，发小儿痘疮。烧炭，治呃逆

鲜者多食即发热，烦渴，龈肿，衄血，发痘痒。（以壳浸水饮之，或饮蜜水一杯，便解。）

甘、涩，温。入足厥阴、少阴经。散滞气，辟寒邪。治 疝，疗心痛；得醋，治脾痛不
止。配青皮、茴香，酒下，治肾肿如斗。调香附，米饮下，治血气攻痛；和木香，治胃脘寒
疼。 炭存性，研末用。
花、根
煎汤含咽，治喉痹立愈。
一名圆眼
甘，平，润。入手少阴、足太阴经血分。益脾胃，葆心血，润五脏，治怔忡。
蒸熟细嚼，生津。膈满者禁用。过食润肠不助脾。
核
研末，敷金疮出血。同胡椒研末，汗出时擦之，治狐臭。
一名青果
甘、酸、涩、温。入手太阴、足阳明经。下气生津，消食开胃，解酒止泻。治咽喉痛及
骨哽，解诸毒，止下血。（烧
研米饮下，血自止。）配儿茶，麻油调敷下疳。配荔枝核、山楂核、橄榄核，等分，烧存性
研末，茴香汤下，治阴肾 肿。
小儿落地时，用橄榄一个炒研，朱砂末和匀，嚼生脂麻一口，吐唾和末，绢包，与儿吮咂一
时辰，预解痘毒。解鱼
毒，煮汁服。鱼骨鲠，嚼汁咽。核炒研末，调猪脂，涂唇裂。烧研油调，涂冻疮。多服聚火
气于胃。（去两头，不热。）
【夷果类八种】
橄榄：味甘、酸，性温。归足厥阴肝经。能疏散无形质的滞气。治疗瘿瘤（甲状腺肿大等）及赤肿，促进小儿痘疮发出。烧制成炭后，治疗呃逆不止，擦拭可缓解风牙疼痛。与白梅配伍，贴敷治疗疔肿。鲜品多食会导致发热、心烦口渴、牙龈肿胀、鼻出血，并引发痘疮瘙痒。（若用壳浸泡水饮用，或喝一杯蜜水，即可解除上述副作用。）患有齿病及火病患者尤其忌讳食用。壳煎汤，可促使痘疮发出；烧烟，可解除痘毒秽浊之气。核：味甘、涩，性温。归足厥阴肝经、足少阴肾经。能散滞气，辟除寒邪。治疗疝气，疗治心痛；若得醋配合，可治疗脾痛不止。与青皮、茴香配伍，酒送服，治疗肾脏肿大如斗状。与香附调匀，米饮送服，治疗气血攻冲之痛；与木香同用，治疗胃脘寒冷疼痛。存性烧炭，研末使用。花、根：煎汤含咽，治疗喉痹（咽喉肿痛闭塞），立见痊愈。
龙眼（一名圆眼）：味甘，性平，质润。入手少阴心经、足太阴脾经的血分。补益脾胃，保养心血，滋润五脏，治疗怔忡（心悸）。蒸熟后细嚼，生津液。胸膈胀满者禁用。过食则润肠但不助脾运化。核：研末，外敷金疮出血。与胡椒同研为末，在出汗时擦拭，治疗狐臭。
橄榄（又名青果）：味甘、酸、涩，性温。入手太阴肺经、足阳明胃经。降气生津，消食开胃，解酒止泻。治疗咽喉痛及骨鲠，解各种毒素，止下血。（烧炭研末，米饮送服，血自止。）与儿茶配伍，麻油调敷治疗下疳。与荔枝核、山楂核、橄榄核等分，烧存性研末，茴香汤送服，治疗阴肾肿大。小儿落地时，用一个橄榄炒研，与朱砂末混合均匀，嚼一口生芝麻，吐唾沫调和药末，用绢布包裹，让婴儿吮吸一个时辰，预先化解痘毒。解鱼毒，煮汁服用。鱼骨卡喉，嚼汁咽下。核炒研末，调猪脂，涂抹唇裂。烧炭研末，用油调涂，治疗冻疮。多服会使火气聚集于胃。（若去掉两头，则不热。）

Olive (Canarium ovatum): Sweet, sour, warm. Enters the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian. Disperses stagnant qi without physical form. Treats goiter (enlargement of the thyroid gland) and red swelling; promotes the eruption of smallpox in children. Charred, it treats persistent hiccups; applied externally, it relieves wind-induced toothache. Combined with White Plum (Semen Prunii Mume), applied topically to treat carbuncles. Fresh fruit consumed in excess causes fever, irritability, thirst, gum swelling, epistaxis, and pruritus associated with smallpox eruptions. (Drinking water infused with the shell or a cup of honey water resolves these symptoms.) It is particularly contraindicated for patients with dental diseases and fire-pathogen conditions. The shell decocted as tea promotes smallpox eruption; burning the shell produces smoke that resolves toxic filth from smallpox.
The seed: Sweet, astringent, warm. Enters the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian and Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian. Disperses stagnant qi and repels cold pathogens. Treats hernia and heart pain; when combined with vinegar, it treats persistent spleen pain. Combined with Green Tangerine Peel (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) and Fennel (Fructus Foeniculi), taken with wine, it treats kidney swelling resembling a beanbag. Mixed with Cyperus Rhizome (Rhizoma Cyperi Rotundi) and taken with rice water, it treats pain caused by attacking qi and blood; combined with Aucklandia Root (Radix Aucklandiae), it treats cold pain in the epigastrium. Charred retaining its nature, ground into powder for use.
Flowers and roots: Decocted as tea and gargled/swallowed, they instantly cure throat obstruction (sore throat with difficulty swallowing).
Longan (Also known as Round Eye / Dimocarpus longan): Sweet, neutral, moistening. Enters the Hand Shaoyin Heart Meridian and Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian blood level. Tonifies the spleen and stomach, preserves heart blood, moistens the five zang organs, and treats palpitations (ze thong). Steamed and chewed finely, it generates body fluids. Contraindicated for those with chest fullness. Excessive consumption moistens the intestines but does not assist spleen transformation.
Seed: Ground into powder, applied externally to stop bleeding from metal wounds. Mixed with Black Pepper (Fructus Piperis Nigris) into powder, rubbed on during sweating to treat fox odor (bromhidrosis).
Olive (Also known as Green Fruit / Canarium album): Sweet, sour, astringent, warm. Enters the Hand Taiyin Lung Meridian and Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian. Directs qi downward and generates fluids, aids digestion, opens the appetite, resolves alcohol intoxication, and stops diarrhea. Treats sore throat and fish bone impaction, resolves various toxins, and stops lower bleeding. (Charred, ground into powder, taken with rice water, bleeding stops spontaneously.) Combined with Myrobalan (Terminalia chebula Retz.), mixed with sesame oil, applied topically to treat chancres. Combined with Longan Seed (Semen Longan), Hawthorn Seed (Semen Crataegi), and Olive Seed, in equal parts, charred retaining its nature, ground into powder, taken with Fennel tea, to treat scrotal/kidney swelling. At birth, one olive is stir-fried and ground, mixed evenly with Cinnabar powder (Zhusha), chewed with one mouthful of raw Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.), saliva is used to mix the powder, wrapped in silk, and given to the infant to suckle for one shichen (two hours) to preemptively resolve smallpox toxin. Resolves fish toxicity by drinking the decoction. For fish bone impaction, chew the juice and swallow. Seed stir-fried and ground into powder, mixed with lard, applied to cracked lips. Charred, ground into powder, mixed with oil, applied to frostbite. Excessive intake gathers fire qi in the stomach. (Removing both ends prevents heatiness.)
