Treats traumatic injuries, Bi syndrome caused by wind-cold-dampness (pain and numbness of limbs and joints due to invasion of wind, cold, and damp pathogens), pain in the waist, abdomen, heart, and stomach, as well as ulcerated sores. It has the effects of drawing out toxins, discharging pus, and promoting wound healing with tissue regeneration.
Herbs: Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Scrophulariae Radix (Yuan Shen), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdi), Rheomi Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Guishen), Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui), Sargassum (Haizao), Eckloniae/Kelp (Kunbu), Atractylodis Rhizoma (Cangzhu) (each 5 qian).
Preparation: Soak the above herbs in 5 jin of true sesame oil. Soak for five days in spring, three days in summer, seven days in autumn, and ten days in winter. Boil until the herbs are scorched, remove the dregs, add 40 liang of refined red lead oxide (Hongdan), and process into a plaster.

Treats impetigo (yellow water sore); effective for all types of sores.
Ingredients: Pine resin powder (1 liang), Castor seed (49 grains, finely ground).
Preparation: Melt the above ingredients over boiling water, stir evenly. Apply freely as a patch. If the skin is broken, apply on Wujin paper.

Treats symptoms such as food stagnation and abdominal distension.
Ingredients: Sichuan pepper (49 grains, scored open), Galla Chinensis (Beizi, 7 whole grains), True sesame oil 4 liang.
Preparation: Boil until scorched, remove dregs, add 2 liang of lead carbonate (Qianfen), and process into a plaster. If ineffective, use one bell of human milk, add a small amount of calcined alum (Kufan), and apply with a chicken feather. Cure within one or two days.

Treats goiter-like tumors, ulcerated sores from beating, traumatic injuries, and wind-pain.
Ingredients: Sesame oil (20 liang), Elephant skin (3 qian), Safflower (Honghua, 3.5 qian), Large castor seeds (20 grains, shelled), Five-zhu coins (2 pieces), Spider webs (appropriate amount), Cuttlebone extract (Ercha), Musk (Shexiang) (each powdered to 4 qian).
Preparation: Heat the previous ingredients in a pot until boiling, then remove along with the pot and place it in a water vat to cool. Finally, mix in the Ercha and Shexiang powders.

Treats various toxic sores; applicable whether un-ulcerated or ulcerated. Do not apply to malignant sores or syphilis (Yangmei du).
Ingredients: Prunella vulgaris (Xiakucao, 1 jin), decocted to obtain juice; Northern castor meat (240 grains), Sweet almond (240 pieces), Walnut kernel (16 pieces).
Preparation: Remove the above ingredients, grind into powder, then boil together with the aforementioned herb juice and other ingredients (each 6 qian) mentioned previously. Finally, add Dandelion (Gongying, several jin) and boil into a plaster, using half a bell of fragrant sesame oil to finalize. Apply to various toxic sores, scrofula (Luoli), smallpox sores, carbuncles, etc.

Neiting Secret Formula White Jade Plaster: Treats all kinds of carbuncles, furuncles, and malignant sores. Apply when un-suppurated to resolve; apply when suppurated to discharge pus and promote muscle growth.
Ingredients: Large crucian carp (2 tails, preferably 10 liang each, scales and entrails intact), Large toad (1 piece, preferably over half a jin), Bean kernel (Badou ren, 3 liang), Castor kernel (Bimaren, appropriate amount).
Preparation: Boil oil in a copper pot, add Badou and Bimaren, boil until scorched and remove. Then add carp and toad, boil until scorched and remove. Filter cleanly and boil again until a drop does not disperse in water (indicating proper consistency). Finally, add ingredients wrapped in dough and baked熟 (cooked), grind into powder, stir evenly, pour into a water basin to remove fire toxicity. When used, warm over boiling water and spread.
