黄连（二钱） 郁金（二钱）
煎浓汁。矾三钱为末。将前汁送下。三服后。服补中益气汤十帖愈。
又方
治失心。
虾蟆（ 存性） 朱砂等分为末。每用一钱。水调服神效。
牙皂（八两去弦） 取不落水猪肝一具。同煮一二炷香。取出猪肝。将牙皂晒干为末。

治风痰痫病。
生白矾（一两入猪胆内阴干） 细辛（五钱）
为末。蜜丸。桐子大。一岁十丸。茶汤下。大人五十丸。久服痰自大便中出。

牙皂（八两，去除筋膜）取一块不落入水中的猪肝，一同煮约一二炷香的时间。取出猪肝，将牙皂晒干研为细末。
明矾四
癫痫用羊
治疗风痰引起的癫痫病症。
生白矾（一两，放入猪胆内阴干） 细辛（五钱）
研为细末，蜂蜜炼制成丸，大小如梧桐子。一岁的婴儿服用十丸，茶汤送下。成人服用五十丸，长期服用后，痰液会自然从大便排出。
（从前有一位妇人患狂病十年，遇到异人传授此方。初次服用时感觉心胸间如有物脱落，神气清爽；再次服用后痊愈。此方也用于治疗男性忧郁癫狂及风痰迷闷。）
郁金（七两） 明矾（三两）
研为细末，面粉糊作为粘合剂制成丸剂，滚开水送服三钱。药服完即愈。
治疗痰邪迷蒙心窍。呆痴、狂癫。不论病程新久，多服用可除根，效果极好，灵验如神。

Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 黄连) (2 qian) Curcumae Tuber (Yujin, 郁金) (2 qian)
Decoct to make a concentrated liquid. Alum (Mingfan, 明矾) 3 qian, ground into fine powder. Administer the Alum powder with the aforementioned decoction. After three doses, administer Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) for ten courses to achieve cure.

Treatment for Shixin syndrome (loss of heart/mind, characterized by mental confusion).
Bufo bufo gargarizans skin secretion (Chanhu, 蟾酥/Toad venom) (preserved nature) and Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂) in equal parts, ground into fine powder. Use 1 qian each time, mixed with water and taken orally; the effect is miraculous.
Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus Spine (Yazao, 牙皂) (8 liang, remove fibrous strands) Take one pig liver that has not fallen into water. Boil them together for the time it takes to burn one or two incense sticks. Remove the pig liver. Dry the Yazao in the sun and grind into powder.

For epilepsy caused by Wind-Phlegm.
Raw Alum (Baifan, 白矾) (1 liang, placed inside a pig gallbladder and dried in shade) Asari Radix (Xixin, 细辛) (5 qian)
Grind into fine powder. Form pills with honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. For infants aged one year, take 10 pills, washed down with tea soup. Adults take 50 pills. Long-term use will cause phlegm to be expelled naturally through the stool.
(Previously, a woman suffered from Mania for ten years. An extraordinary person taught her this prescription. Upon the first dose, she felt as if an object had dropped from her chest, and her spirit became refreshed. After the second dose, she was cured. This prescription also treats male Yu-Dian Kuang (depressive mania) and Wind-Phlegm confusing the mind.)

Grind into fine powder. Use wheat paste to form pills. Take 3 qian with boiling water. Cure achieved when the medicine is finished.
Treatment for Phlegm confusing the Heart orifices. Dullness, dementia, mania, and epilepsy. Regardless of whether the condition is new or old, taking more can eradicate the root cause. The effect is extremely effective, miraculous like a god.

Grind all into fine powder. Form pills with honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Coat with Cinnabar. Every morning at dawn, take 30-40 pills washed down with clear tea.
Treatment for Shadu pain (abdominal colic or specific abdominal pain).
Atractylodis Rhizoma (Maoshu, 茅术) (remove peel and tips) Myristicae Fragrans Seed (Mudingxiang, 母丁香) Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂) (each purified powder, 6 fen) Toad Venom (Chansu, 蟾酥) (6 fen)
Dissolve Chansu in fire wine. Grind together to form pills, size of mustard seeds. Use one pill each time, place on the tip of the tongue. When the medicine melts, the pain stops. For severe cases, take two doses.
Sesame Oil (Mayou, 麻油) (1 zhong) Take warm, and the pain stops immediately.
White Horse Dung (Baimafen, 白马粪) (preserved nature, use 5 qian each time) Add fresh Yellow Earth (Huangtu, 黄土) 5 fen. Those who can drink alcohol, mix with warm wine. Those who cannot drink alcohol, mix with warm water.
