以上药材研为细末。取二分南蛇胆汁，加入猪心血中，研磨均匀并混合制成丸剂，大小如粟米。每次服用五分，临睡前用橘皮汤送服。

以上各药按照古法炮制后研为细末。用神曲糊作为粘合剂制成丸剂，大小如绿豆。每次服用五六十丸，早晨用清汤送服。

以上药材用蜂蜜制成丸剂。早晚各服用五钱，用清汤送服。
心肾两交汤（用于彻夜不眠的情况）

用水煎煮后服用。
（兼治心肾不安引起的怔忡、恍惚、妄动、惊悸、恐惧等症状，常服效果显著，日记记载可治万病；又治疗吐血、劳瘵、怯弱，疗效神奇）

以上药材研为细末。用蜂蜜制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。以灵砂为包衣，用酒送服五十丸。另一配方加川连五钱，益智仁用盐水炒制去壳后入丸。
Gongfen (Lead Carbonate, 5 qian) and Liuhuang (Sulfur, 3 qian)
Are ground into fine powder. Mix with egg white (Jizi Qing) and apply externally by rubbing.
Lingsha (Cinnabar and Mercury Alloy, 9 qian), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 2 qian), Danningxing (Arisaema cum Bile, 4 qian), Chuanlian (Coptis Rhizome, 1 qian)
The above ingredients are ground into fine powder. Take 2 fen of Nanshe Dan (Bile of Elapoid Snake) and add to Zhu Xin Xue (Pig Heart Blood). Grind thoroughly and mix to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 5 fen per dose. Swallow before retiring to bed with Chenpi Tang (Tangerine Peel Decoction).
Shanyao (Dioscorea Rhizome), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Zi Shiying (Purple Quartz), Fushen (Poria with Hostwood), Hugu (Tiger Bone), Hu Jing (Tiger Eye), Longchi (Fossilized Bones and Teeth), Danshen (Salvia Miltiorrhiza Root), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Xixin (Asarum Root), Wuweizi (Schisandra Fruit)
The above ingredients are each processed according to ancient methods and ground into fine powder. Use Shenqu (Medicated Leaven) paste as a binder to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 50-60 pills per dose. Swallow in the morning with clear water (Qingtang).
Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Lateral Root), 3 fen; Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), 3 qian; Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), 3 qian; Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), 1 qian; Guishen (Angelica Sinensis Radix Stem), 5 qian; Zhusha (Cinnabaris), 1 qian; Tieyi (Mercury Powder/Water Powder), 1 qian; Danningxing (Arisaema cum Bile), 1 qian; Chuanlian (Coptis Rhizome), 2 qian.
The above ingredients are ground into fine powder. Form honey pills (Mi Wan). Take 1 qian per dose, swallowed with Jiangtang (Ginger Decoction). Administer once daily. The condition is cured when the course of medicine is completed.
Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), 2 liang; Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), 2.5 liang; Guishen (Angelica Sinensis Radix Stem); Sheng Zaoren (Raw Ziziphus Seed); Shengdi (Rehmannia Root); Fushen (Poria with Hostwood); Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber, heart removed, 1.5 liang each); Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root); Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), 1.5 qian.
Form honey pills. Take 5 qian per dose, morning and evening, swallowed with clear water (Qingtang).
Xinshen Liangjiao Tang (Decoction for Mutual Communication of Heart and Kidney - used for insomnia throughout the night)
Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root), 5 qian; Yurou (Cornus Fruit); Zaoren (Ziziphus Seed), 4 liang each; Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma); Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Radix); Baijiezi (Brassica Seed); Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber), 2.5 qian each; Rougui (Cinnamon Bark); Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome).
Decoct in water and take orally.
(Also treats palpitations, mental confusion, delirious speech, fright, palpitations, and terror caused by disharmony between Heart and Kidney; long-term use is highly effective, recorded to treat myriad ailments; also treats hematemesis, consumptive disease, and weakness with miraculous efficacy.)
Lingsha (Cinnabar and Mercury Alloy, 1.5 liang, half reserved for coating); Fushen (Poria with Hostwood, processed with milk); Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix); Zaoren (Ziziphus Seed, stir-fried); Shengdi (Rehmannia Root); Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber); Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma); Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root); Tiandong (Asparagus Tuber).
The above ingredients are ground into fine powder. Form honey pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Coat with Lingsha. Take 50 pills per dose, swallowed with wine. Another formula adds Chuanlian (Coptis Rhizome, 5 qian) and Yizhiren (Alpinia Oxyphylla Fruit, stir-fried with salt water and husked) into the pills.
