Greatly treats disorders such as cold hernia of the small intestine, Fu Liang (accumulated mass) of the bladder, Ben Chun (rushing sensation), and Qi disorders; also treats uterine Qi disorder in women. Prescription by Yang Jie (courtesy name Jilao) of Sizhou.

One qian [weight unit], use Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root) one qian, cut into pieces the size of black beans, salt four liang [weight unit], black beans one he [volume unit]. Stir-fry Fuzi (Aconite Lateralis Radix Praeparata) until cracked. Remove all other herbs, using only Fuzi with skin and umbilical scar removed.

Haloban (Demenae Semen), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Bajitian (Morindae Officinalis Radix) (remove heart), Chuanlianzi (Meliae Fructus) (stir-fried, take flesh), Guigui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma), Bichengqie (Schizonepetae Fructus? Note: Usually Piperis Longi Fructus or similar, here likely Bi Cheng Qie - Litseae Fructus), Bo Shanghuixiang (Foeniculi Fructus) (stir-fried), Po Guzhi (Psoraleae Fructus) (stir-fried, above nine ingredients each one qian).

Grind all into fine powder. Use glutinous rice flour paste made with wine to form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Coat with Zhensha (Cinnabar). Take 30-50 pills per dose, swallowed with wine on an empty stomach.

Women... The medicine was ineffective. Later, this prescription was obtained from Zhang [Name missing], after taking it several times, the root cause was eliminated. Furthermore, Hu [likely a typo for a herb or part of text corruption] was not used. Instead, this prescription was presented to Jixian. Jixian also suffered from this disease and took it, thus becoming peaceful/recovered. Ge Sili's respected father, while in Jinzhou, had his colleague Su Zhu Guan transmit this prescription, which proved effective repeatedly. Later, the original source was lost, often appearing in thought. I recorded it to return it to him. Ge [Name missing], courtesy name Lirou, is the paternal uncle of the Chancellor.

Dan Zhuye (Lophatheri Herba), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Dengxin (Junci Medulla), Zaizi (Ziziphi Spinosae Semen), Wudou (Sojae Semen Nigrum).

Take with rice drink or Maidong Tang (Ophiopogon Decoction) to mix and swallow. After two doses, it healed. Take when hunger and fullness are moderate; taking on an empty stomach is also acceptable. Ruxiang Shi refers to the stones picked out from Ruxiang (Boswelliae Resin).

Another prescription, Granny Zheng said, has been very effective in treating people repeatedly.

Dan Zhuye (Lophatheri Herba), Dengxin (Junci Medulla), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (remove radix tip), Hongzao (Jujubae Fructus), Zhuweisuai [Text Corruption/Unknown Herb], Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix) (use both root and shoot), Wumei (Mume Fructus), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Mu [Text Cut off] Long [Text Cut off].

Equal parts or any quantity is acceptable. Decoct to make a soup, treat as boiled water. Patients suffering from this disease often feel thirsty; drink at will.
