治疗流泪多且眼屎多，眼睑内侧红痛，痒而生白色肤翳。取穴肝俞、上星、风池、睛明、龈交、承泣、四白、巨髎、瞳子髎。
治疗眼中生白膜。取穴承光。
治疗攀睛（翼状胬肉），翳膜覆盖瞳孔，怕风流泪，眼睛内部发痒，小儿雀盲（夜盲症），疳积眼病，成人气眼导致流泪不止、视物不明，大眦肌肉侵入黑睛，以及治疗肤翳白膜覆盖瞳孔，眼暗雀盲疼痛。取穴睛明。
治疗白色肤翳覆盖瞳孔。取穴少泽。
治疗眼中生白翳。取穴临泣、腕骨、龈交、肝俞、四白、关冲、前谷。
治疗眼中生肤翳。取穴角孙。
张仲文治疗风眼，突然生出翳膜，双眼疼痛难以忍受，灸手中指本节与节间尖上三壮，艾炷如麦粒大小，左眼病灸右手，右眼病灸左手。
治疗白膜覆盖黑珠完全看不见。取穴解溪。
治疗突然生翳，灸大拇指节横纹处三壮，左眼病灸右手，右眼病灸左手。
治疗眼睑下垂。取穴水沟。
王氏说：我游历会稽时，天不亮就看书，辰时才吃饭，久而久之，患了眼涩，疲倦游玩后回家，同住的人送给我盐精，几次擦拭眼睛后疾病消除。盐精尚且如此，那么青盐能治眼疾是必然的了。古方有用青盐擦牙的，于是用手捧起洗眼而视力明亮了。盐精是盐仓地下渗出的精华。

Treating excessive tearing and discharge, redness and pain inside the eyelids, itching with the formation of white skin-like nebula. Acupoints: Ganshu (BL18), Shangxing (GV23), Fengchi (GB20), Jingming (BL1), Yinjiao (GV26), Chengqi (ST1), Sibai (ST2), Juliao (ST3), Tongziliao (GB1).
Treating the formation of a white membrane in the eye. Acupoint: Chengguang (GB13).
Treating the formation of a white membrane with excessive tearing, and also treating vertigo with the formation of white nebula. Acupoint: Linqi (GB15).
Treating pterygium (wing-shaped fleshy growth covering the cornea), where nebula covers the pupil, aversion to wind and tearing, itching inside the eye, childhood night blindness, malnutrition-related eye disease, adult "gas eye" causing continuous tearing and blurred vision, intrusion of the canthus muscle into the cornea, as well as treating skin-like nebula and white membrane covering the pupil, dim vision and night blindness pain. Acupoint: Jingming (BL1).

Zhang Zhongwen treats wind eye, sudden formation of nebula, unbearable pain in both eyes. Moxibustion is applied to the tip between the proximal interphalangeal joint and the metacarpophalangeal joint of the middle finger, three moxa cones (moxibustion units), each cone the size of a wheat grain. For left eye conditions, treat the right hand; for right eye conditions, treat the left hand.
Treating white nebula in the eye. Acupoint: Qian Gu (SI15).
Treating white membrane covering the black pupil resulting in complete blindness. Acupoint: Jie Xi (ST41).
Treating sudden onset of nebula. Moxibustion is applied to the transverse crease of the thumb joint, three moxa cones. For left eye conditions, treat the right hand; for right eye conditions, treat the left hand.
Treating the formation of white nebula in the eye. Acupoints: Ganshu (BL18), Jie Xi (ST41).
Treating ptosis (drooping eyelid). Acupoint: Shuigou (GV26).
Wang Shi said: When I traveled to Kuaiji, I read books at dawn and did not eat until Chen hour (7-9 AM). After a long time, I suffered from dry eyes. Upon returning home tired from travel, a roommate gave me salt essence. After wiping my eyes several times, the illness was cured. If salt essence can do this, then green salt's ability to treat eye diseases is evident. Ancient prescriptions used green salt to brush teeth; thus, cupping it in the hand to wash the eyes restores clarity. Salt essence is the refined extract seeping from the ground beneath salt warehouses.
