Regarding human tinnitus, physicians generally attribute it to Kidney deficiency. This is indeed correct. To avoid this ailment, one should prevent the Kidneys from becoming deficient and avoid stagnation of Qi and excessive mental strain. For slight tinnitus, placing a scallion tube in the ear allows Qi to penetrate, and the ringing will cease naturally.
