Yin excess often carries the danger of Chengqi Tang. Purging when sweating is indicated leads to Yang exhaustion, Jue exhaustion, and delirium. After purging or sweating, if the pulse remains rapid and stool hardens for a long time, one should resolve blood stasis and red toxicity. Shaoyin high heat and stopping diarrhea, turning into added fever and stifling sensation danger.
One should consider that anhidrosis, restlessness, and floating-tight pulse indicate taking Qinglong Decoction. Anhidrosis, preference for thirst, and single floating pulse indicate avoiding Baihu Decoction. The principle of using hot herbs far from heat conditions is appropriate. Guixin (Cinnamon Bark).
