治疗咳嗽伴饮邪、烟雾疗法。
钟乳石（研磨） 白石英（研磨） 人参 丹参（研磨） 雄黄（研磨，各七分） 水银（研磨，三分） 乌羊肾脂（适量）。
将药粉均匀铺平。使药气浓烈一分。散开药物令其周遍。剪一张纸，分为三份。身体瘦弱的妇人用半寸长的药段熏蒸，五日为一个疗程。在服药前，需斋戒五日。服药后一百日内，忌食五辛、酒和肉类。这一剂药，能治愈五十年的上气病（指气逆喘促之证），全部痊愈。忌食生血之物（如动物血液或未熟透的肉）。

Method for treating cough with fluid retention using smoke inhalation.
Calcitum (Zhongru, calcined concretion) [ground], Barytis Silicae (Baishiyin, white quartz) [ground], Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix (Danshen) [ground], Realgar (Xionghuang) [ground, each 7 fen], Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin) [ground, 3 fen], Lip of Ovis Aries or Capra Hircus kidney (Wuyangshenzhi, black sheep kidney fat) [appropriate amount].
Spread the medicinal powder evenly. Make the medicinal vapor sufficiently concentrated. Disperse the medicine to cover the area uniformly. Cut one sheet of paper into three parts. For frail women, use a half-cun length of the medicated paper segment for fumigation, administered over five days. Prior to taking the oral medication, observe a fast for five days. For one hundred days after taking the medication, avoid the "five pungents" (garlic, chives, leeks, onions, and asafoetida), alcohol, and meat. This single dose can cure fifty years of chronic upper qi disorder (characterized by rebellious qi and wheezing), resulting in complete recovery. Avoid consuming raw blood products (such as animal blood or undercooked meat).
Treating cough.
Flos Caccaliae (Kudonghua, 2 qian), Calamitatis Tubus (Eguanshi, goose tube stone, 1.5 qian), Lapis Aquae Frigidae (Hanshuishi, cold water stone, 2 qian), Realgar (Xionghuang, 1.5 qan), Pulvis Calciti (Zhongrufen, 1.5 qian).
Shape the mixture into an arrow-like form, burn it, and inhale the smoke.
Formula for fumigating cough with herbs (from *Taiping Shenghui Fang*):
Chouhuang (a type of arsenic sulfide mineral, 1 qian), Powdered Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis (Zhuyazaojiaomo, pig's tooth soap pod powder, 1 qian), Cera Flava (La, yellow beeswax, 1 fen, finely cut), Nifen (calomel/mercurous chloride, 1 qian), Lac Humanum (Renru, human milk, 1 he), Semen Cannabis (Damaren, hemp seed) [appropriate amount].
