气疰，是指邪气传注，蕴结潜伏于肺脏。肺主一身之气，通行表里。若疰气随气机传注，则病症会随气游走，冲击经络而产生疼痛，向上导致气喘急促，饮食难以下咽，这就是气疰的证候表现。
方剂：
调气汤：治疗疰气引起的背胁部疼痛，心胸烦闷。
药材：京三棱（煨制后锉碎）、木香（各一两）；槟榔（煨制后锉碎，三分）；草豆蔻（去皮，一两半）；高良姜（一两五钱）；茯苓（去黑皮）。
用法：上药捣罗为细末。每次服用三钱，加水一盏，煎至七分，去药渣，加入研好的药粉，温服。
千金丸：治疗气疰导致的身体消瘦，病程迁延多年停滞不愈，胸中胀满痞塞，饮食有时呕吐，宿食不化。以及中风鬼疰。
药材：野葛（炙制，四寸）；斑蝥（十枚，足炒）；雄黄（研细）；雌黄（研细）；干姜（炮制）；鬼臼（去毛，微炙）；瓜蒂（麸炒）。
用法：上药捣罗为细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每日清晨用温水送服一丸。
牛黄丸：治疗疰气兼有冷气，心腹疼痛，或突然中邪，得疰痛，感觉如同鬼祟作怪。
药材：牛黄（研细）；阿魏（研细，半两）；丹砂（研细）；安息香（研细，各半钱）；肉豆蔻（去壳，一枚）；桂枝（去粗皮）；木香；当归（切，焙干，各一分）；槟榔（炮制锉碎，二枚）；桃仁（汤浸去皮尖，双仁者炒，四十九枚）。
用法：上药为细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每服适量，温酒送下。
芜荑散：治疗气疰引起的刺痛。
药材：白芜荑（微炒）；附子（炮裂，去皮脐）；白槟榔（煨制锉碎）；陈橘皮（汤浸去白，焙干）；干姜（炮制）；桂枝（去粗皮）。
用法：上药为散。每服一钱，空心时以热酒调下。
柴胡汤：治疗疰气导致的胸膈满塞，心背部掣痛欲绝。
药材：柴胡（去苗）；甘草（炙锉，各一两半）；木香（二两）；槟榔（煨锉，十枚）；犀角（镑片，二两）；当归（切，焙）；麝香（少许）。
用法：上药除麝香外，加水一盏，煎至八分，去药渣，加入少许麝香，温服，每日两次。
桃仁饮：治疗疰气，肩膊部刺痛且位置固定不移。
药材：桃仁（汤浸去皮尖，双仁者炒）；酸枣仁（炒）；人参；桂枝（去粗皮）；丁香；赤茯苓（去黑皮）；甘草。
用法：上药为散，水煎服。
延胡索散：治疗风冷疰气，刺痛胃膈，转动身体不得，四肢厥冷，面目青黄，又如同鬼气状。
药材：延胡索；橘核；人参（各半两）；乳香（研细）；地龙（去土炒，各一分）。
用法：上药为散。每服一钱，温酒送下。
木香散：治疗猝然中受疰气。
药材：木香（研细，一两）；当归（切，焙干）；白术；桂枝（去粗皮）；白茯苓（去黑皮，各一两）。
用法：上药为散。每服二钱，温酒调下。
浓朴丸：治疗一切气疰，大肠结涩，背胁刺痛，气疰波及四肢，以及食物不消化，气逆奔腾。
药材：浓朴（去粗皮，姜汁炙，三两）；桂枝（去粗皮）；大黄（锉碎，醋炒，各二两）；桃仁（汤浸去皮尖，双仁者炒）。
用法：上药为末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每服三十丸，空腹温酒送下。
治三十年食疰方：
药材：豉心（半升）；生椒（一合）。
用法：以上用水二升，煮取半升，温度适宜。用竹筒吸取汁液，令病人侧卧，将汁液滴入鼻中。
桃仁汤：治疗传尸鬼气，咳嗽，癖块，疰气，血气不通，日渐消瘦。
用法：用桃仁一两，尖头处杵碎，以水一升半，煮取汁，加入米煮粥，空腹食前服用。
又方：治疗传尸疰，以桃仁一合，烂研煎汤服用，治疗鬼疰心痛。
Qi Zhu (Qi Transmission Disease) refers to pathogenic qi transmitting and accumulating, lurking within the Lung. The Lung governs Qi and circulates through the exterior and interior. If the transmission disease qi spreads via Qi movement, the pathology follows the Qi's wandering, causing pain upon impact. It may ascend to cause panting and urgency, and prevent food and drink from being swallowed. This constitutes the syndrome of Qi Zhu.
Formulas:
Tiaoqi Tang (Regulating Qi Decoction): Treats back and shoulder pain caused by transmission disease qi, along with vexation and oppression in the chest and heart.
Ingredients: Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu, 柴胡 - note: text lists Jing San Leng, but standard Tiaoqi Tang often uses Chaihu; sticking to text: Sparganii Rhizoma (Jingsanling, 京三棱), Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang, 木香); Arecae Semen (Binglang, 槟榔), Cardamomi Fructus (Caodoukou, 草豆蔻), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Gaoliangjiang, 高良姜), Poria (Fuling, 茯苓).
Usage: Powder the ingredients. Take 3 qian per dose, add 1 cup of water, decoct until 0.7 cups remain, strain, add the prepared powder, and take warm.
Qianjin Wan (Thousand Gold Pill): Treats Qi Zhu leading to emaciation, lingering for years, chest fullness and obstruction, vomiting of food, or inability to digest old food. Also treats wind-stroke ghost transmission diseases.
Ingredients: Cocculus Trichophorus (Yege, 野葛), Mylabris (Banmao, 斑蝥), Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), Orpiment (Cihuang, 雌黄), Zingiberis Rhizoma Dryus (Ganjiang, 干姜), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Guijiu, 鬼臼), Cucumeris Fructus (Gua Di, 瓜蒂).
Usage: Powder the ingredients, mix with honey to form pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take one pill early in the morning with warm water.
Niuhuang Wan (Calculus Bovis Pill): Treats transmission disease qi combined with cold qi, causing heart and abdominal pain, or sudden onset of evil, resulting in transmission pain, feeling as if haunted by spirits.
Ingredients: Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, 牛黄), Ferulae Resina (Awei, 阿魏), Cinnabar (Dansha, 丹砂), Styrax (Anxi Xiang, 安息香), Myristicae Semen (Roudoukou, 肉豆蔻), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui, 桂), Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang, 木香), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归), Arecae Semen (Binglang, 槟榔), Persicae Semen (Taoren, 桃仁).
Usage: Powder the ingredients, mix with honey to form pills. Take with warm wine.
Wuyi San (Melia Powder): Treats stabbing pain caused by Qi Zhu.
Ingredients: Meliae Semen (Bai Wuyi, 白芜荑), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi, 附子), Arecae Semen (Bai Binglang, 白槟榔), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chen Jupi, 陈橘皮), Zingiberis Rhizoma Dryus (Ganjiang, 干姜), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui, 桂).
Usage: Powder the ingredients. Take 1 qian on an empty stomach, mixed with hot wine.
Chaihu Tang (Bupleurum Decoction): Treats transmission disease qi causing chest and diaphragm fullness and blockage, and severe pulling pain in the heart and back.
Ingredients: Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu, 柴胡), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草), Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang, 木香), Arecae Semen (Binglang, 槟榔), Rhinocerotis Cornu (Xijiao, 犀角), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归), Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香).
Usage: Decoct all except Moschus in water until 0.8 cups remain, strain, add a little Moschus, and take warm twice daily.
Taoren Yin (Peach Kernel Drink): Treats transmission disease qi, causing fixed stabbing pain in the shoulders and arms.
Ingredients: Persicae Semen (Taoren, 桃仁), Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren, 酸枣仁), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui, 桂), Eugeniae Flos (Dingxiang, 丁香), Poria (Chifuling, 赤茯苓), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草).
Usage: Decoct and take.
Yanhusuo San (Corydalis Powder): Treats wind-cold transmission disease qi, causing stabbing pain in the stomach and diaphragm, immobility, cold limbs, blue-yellow complexion, resembling ghostly possession.
Ingredients: Corydzalis Rhizoma (Yanhusuo, 延胡索), Citri Reticulatae Semen (Juhe, 橘核), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参), Boswelliae Resina (Ruxiang, 乳香), Pheretima (Dilong, 地龙).
Usage: Powder the ingredients. Take 1 qian with warm wine.
Muxiang San (Aquilaria Powder): Treats sudden onset of transmission disease qi.
Ingredients: Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum (Muxiang, 木香), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 白术), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui, 桂), Poria (Baifuling, 白茯苓).
Usage: Powder the ingredients. Take 2 qian with strong wine.
N Hou Wan (Magnolia Bark Pill): Treats all types of Qi Zhu, large intestine constipation and dryness, stabbing pain in the back and shoulders, Qi Zhu affecting the limbs, indigestion, and rebellious Qi surging upward.
Ingredients: Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (N Hou, 浓朴), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui, 桂), Rheoi Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang, 大黄), Persicae Semen (Taoren, 桃仁).
Usage: Powder the ingredients, mix with honey to form pills. Take 30 pills on an empty stomach with warm wine.
Formula for Treating Food Transmission Disease Lasting Thirty Years:
Ingredients: Sojae Preparata (Chixin, 豉心), Piperis Nigris Fructus (Sheng Jiao, 生椒).
Usage: Boil in 2 sheng of water until half remains. Adjust temperature. Use a bamboo tube to extract the juice. Have the patient lie on their side and instill the juice into the nose.
Taoren Tang (Peach Kernel Decoction): Treats corpse-transmitting ghost qi, cough, masses, transmission disease qi, blocked blood and Qi, and progressive emaciation.
Usage: Take 1 liang of Peach Kernel, crush the tips, boil in 1.5 sheng of water to extract juice, add rice to make porridge, and take before meals on an empty stomach.
Another formula for treating corpse-transmitting transmission disease: Crush 1 he of Peach Kernel, decoct in water, and drink to treat ghost transmission disease heart pain.
