治腹痈为病。小腹重抑之则痛。小便数。时时汗。复恶寒。其身背甲错。或绕脐生
疮。或脓出大便。疗之方亦治肠痈肺痈。
捣生鲫鱼令熟。以醇酒加涂腹上。
集验方（出肘后方）疗胸中满。而振寒脉数。咽燥不渴。时时出浊唾腥臭。久
久吐脓如糯米粥。是肺痈。治之一名桔梗汤。
桔梗 甘草（各二两炙） 上以水三升。煮取一升。分再服。朝暮吐脓血则愈。一方温
服。
如人行八九里再服。
金沸草散（如宜方）治肺痈嗽出脓血。神闷。咽燥渴。大小便涩。
荆芥穗（四两） 半夏（制） 甘草（各一两） 麻白（制） 前胡 旋复花（各二两）
赤芍药
（一两） 上 咀。姜枣煎热服。后服防己丸。又红枣、百药煎等分。烧灰存性为末。饮汤
下。
桔梗汤（出卫生家宝方）治肺痈初萌。
桔梗 甘草 薏苡仁（各二两） 上为粗末。每服五钱。水二盏。煎至一盏。去渣服。
治肺痈喀血（出永类钤方）
以薏苡仁为末。熟煮猪胰切片。蘸药食。候空时食之。盖苡仁补肺。猪胰引入经络。又
薏苡仁三合。捣烂。水二大盏。煮一盏。去滓。分二服佳。
肺痈咳血经效（出永类钤方）
马兜铃 桑白皮 地骨皮（并蜜微炒） 桔梗 薏苡仁 以食后粳米一撮。入生地黄汁
少
许。
补肺散（出永类钤方）
人参 北五味 黄 上用羊肺、猪肺。瓦器煮食。蘸好钟乳粉。
治疗腹部痈肿病症。小腹沉重，按压时疼痛。小便频数。时常出汗。又伴有恶寒。背部皮肤粗糙如鳞甲交错。或者在肚脐周围生疮。或者脓液随大便排出。此方也用于治疗肠痈和肺痈。
将生鲫鱼捣烂煮熟，用优质酒调和后涂抹于腹部。
《集验方》（出自《肘后方》）治疗胸中胀满，且伴有发冷战栗、脉象数急、咽喉干燥但不想喝水、时常吐出浑浊且带有腥臭味的唾液，日久之后吐出如糯米粥般的脓液，这是肺痈。治疗方法名为桔梗汤。
桔梗、甘草（各二两，炙过）。以上药材用水三升，煮取一升药液，分两次服用。早晨和晚上服用，若吐出脓血则病愈。另一法为温服。
如果人行走约八九里的时间后再服第二次。
金沸草散（出自《如宜方》）治疗肺痈咳嗽并吐出脓血，神志烦闷，咽喉干燥口渴，大小便涩滞不通。
荆芥穗（四两）、半夏（制过）、甘草（各一两）、麻白（制过）、前胡、旋复花（各二两）、赤芍药（一两）。以上药材切碎，加生姜、大枣煎煮，热服。之后服用防己丸。另外可用红枣、百药煎等量，烧成灰但保留药性，研为细末，用米汤送服。
桔梗、甘草、薏苡仁（各二两）。以上药材制成粗末，每次服用五钱，用水两盏，煎至一盏，去渣后服用。
将薏苡仁研为粉末，将猪胰煮熟切片，蘸取药粉食用。待空腹时食用。因为薏苡仁能补肺，猪胰能引导药力进入经络。另外可用薏苡仁三合，捣烂，用水两大盏，煮至一盏，去渣，分两次服用效果佳。
马兜铃、桑白皮、地骨皮（均用蜂蜜微炒）、桔梗、薏苡仁。饭后用粳米一撮，加入少许生地黄汁，一同煎服或调服。
补肺散（出自《永类钤方》）
Treat abdominal carbuncle disease. The lower abdomen feels heavy and painful upon pressure. Frequent urination. Occasional sweating. Accompanied by aversion to cold. The skin on the back is rough and scaly (beijiacuo). Or sores may develop around the navel. Or pus may be discharged with stool. This prescription also treats intestinal carbuncle (Changyong) and lung abscess (Feiyong).
Pound fresh crucian carp until cooked, mix with strong wine, and apply topically to the abdomen.
Jiyan Fang (Collected Effective Prescriptions) (from Zhouhou Fang) treats fullness in the chest accompanied by chills, rapid pulse, dry throat without thirst, frequent expectoration of turbid saliva with a foul odor, and eventually expectoration of pus resembling glutinous rice porridge. This is Lung Abscess (Feiyong). The treatment is named Jiegeng Tang (Platycodon Decoction).
Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata) (each 2 liang, honey-fried). Take water 3 sheng, decoct to obtain 1 sheng. Divide into two doses. Administer morning and evening; recovery occurs when pus and blood are expectorated. Another method suggests taking it warm.
Take the second dose after walking for the distance a person can cover in eight or nine li.
Jinfeicao San (Boehmeria Powder) (from Ruyi Fang) treats Lung Abscess (Feiyong) with coughing up of pus and blood, mental restlessness, dry throat with thirst, and difficult urination and defecation.
Jingjiesui (Aperitif Flower of Schizonepeta), Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparata), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata) (each 1 liang), Mabaizhi (Prepared Hemp Fiber? *Note: Text says 'Mabai', likely a typo for a specific herb or preparation, kept as transliteration*), Qianhu (Radix Peucedani), Xuanfuhua (Flos Inulae) (each 2 liang), Chishao Yao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra) (1 liang). Cut into small pieces. Decoct with ginger and jujube, take hot. Subsequently take Fangji Wan (Stephania Pill). Alternatively, use equal parts of Hongzao (Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae) and Baiyaojian (Fermented Medicinal Cake), burn to ash retaining its nature, grind into powder, and swallow with rice gruel.
Jiegeng Tang (Platycodon Decoction) (from Weisheng Jiabao Fang) treats early-stage Lung Abscess (Feiyong).
Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata), Yiyiren (Semen Coicis) (each 2 liang). Grind into coarse powder. Each dose 5 qian. Use water 2 zhan, decoct to 1 zhan. Strain and take.
Treat Lung Abscess (Feiyong) with hemoptysis (from Yonglei Qianfang).
Grind Yiyiren (Semen Coicis) into powder. Cook pig pancreas thoroughly, slice it, and dip in the powder to eat. Consume when empty-stomached. This is because Yiyiren tonifies the Lung, and pig pancreas guides the medicine into the collaterals. Alternatively, use 3 he of Yiyiren (Semen Coicis), pound until mushy, add 2 large zhan of water, decoct to 1 zhan, strain, and divide into two doses for best results.
Effective Prescription for Coughing Blood due to Lung Abscess (from Yonglei Qianfang).
Madouling (Fructus Aristolochiae), Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori), Digupi (Cortex Lycii), Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Yiyiren (Semen Coicis). After meals, take a pinch of Jingmi (Semen Oryzae Sativum), add a little Shengdihuang juice (汁 of Radix Rehmanniae Recens).
Bufei San (Lung-Tonifying Powder) (from Yonglei Qianfang).
Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Bei Wuwei Zi (Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis), Huangqi (Radix Astragali). Boil sheep lung and pig lung in a pottery vessel to eat. Dip into fine Zhongru Fen (Calcareous Deposit Powder) before consumption.
