肾脏主管腰部。女性的肾脏与胞宫络脉相连结。如果肾气虚弱，外感风、寒、暑、湿、燥、火六种邪气，内伤喜、怒、忧、思、悲、恐、惊七种情志，都会导致腰痛。古代方书中也有加入桃仁、牛膝、小茴香的方子。独活寄生汤（出自《大全良方》）：凡是腰痛，都是由于肾气虚弱，睡在寒冷潮湿的地方，或者对着风口受风所致。如果不及时迅速治疗，病情容易加重。
处方组成：独活、桑寄生、续断、杜仲、北细辛、川牛膝、秦艽、茯苓、白芍药、桂心、川芎、防风。
煎服法：去掉药渣。
功效：能去除病痛，效果如神。
如神汤（出自《危氏方》）：治疗男子女子的腰痛以及产后脐下疼痛。
处方组成：延胡索、当归、桂心（各等分；另一版本没有当归，有杜仲）。
用法：将药物研成粉末。用温酒调服二钱。症状严重的，不过服用几剂即可。
虎骨散：治疗腰部肌肉丰厚处疼痛难忍。
用法：取麝香末半钱，用酒调服虎骨末。
主治：治疗妇女患腰痛，也治疗突然吐血及痔疮出血。
用法：选用向东生长的荷根一把，捣碎绞取汁液三升，服用。另一版本是空腹时加酒煎服。治疗妇女月经阻滞。

妇女下部各种疾病，种类不一。阴部肿胀是由于虚损感受风邪所致。胞络空虚而有风邪客居其中，风气侵袭阴部，寒气客留……有的因为……九虫……肠道……方剂……

处方组成：桃仁（去皮尖另研为膏），枯矾，五倍子。
