The Kidney governs the waist and feet. In women, the Kidney is connected to the Bao Luo (uterine network). If labor and injury cause weakness of Kidney Qi, and Wind-Cold pathogenic factors invade the Bao Luo, the pathogenic factors contend with the healthy Qi, thereby causing pain in the waist and feet. Whenever women experience pain in the lower back and hips, numbness in both legs, aversion to cold, and preference for warmth, as stated in the *Nei Jing*: "Wind, Cold, and Dampness combine to form Bi syndrome." One may first take Shichu Dan (Dampness-Removing Pill), 70-80 pills, adjusting the dosage according to the deficiency or excess of the constitution. Subsequently, administer Yugong San (Yugong Powder) to induce more than ten bowel movements; the expulsion of clear, cold accumulated fluid and yellowish-green salivary foam serves as a sign of efficacy.
