As for epilepsy caused by wind pathogenic factors, it is due to the deficiency of blood and qi, allowing wind pathogens to enter the yin meridians. Humans rely on blood and qi to nourish the zang-fu organs. If blood and qi are insufficient, it leads to heart deficiency (Heart Deficiency), causing sudden collapse or falling to the ground.

It also treats palpitations and qi rebellion due to worry and indignation, as well as postpartum wind-stroke in women, presenting with fright, evil spirits, and mental confusion.
