经云∶天暑地热。经水沸溢。盖血妄行。阳胜阴也。鞠运若茂之尝苦此疾。予授此方。
令服后愈。三黄散亦得。

治疗不时发生的鼻出血。

Grind all into a fine powder and mix evenly. Make pills the size of wutong seeds using steamed bread dough. Take 20 pills with rice water. Take before meals, three times a day.

Huaihua (stir-fry) Baijian (calcined, each 1 liang) Fuzi (half liang, processed, remove skin and navel)
Grind all into a fine powder. Make pills the size of wutong seeds using steamed bread dough. Take 20 pills per dose. Take with rice water. Take before meals, three times a day. The above two prescriptions are from Old Pang.
Treats intermittent epistaxis.
Qiancaogen Aiye (each 1 liang) Wumeirou (baked dry, half liang)
Grind all into a fine powder. Make pills the size of wutong seeds using refined honey. Take 30 pills with wumei decoction.
The Classics state: "When the weather is hot and the earth heat rises, the menstrual water boils over." This indicates that blood flows recklessly due to Yang excess and Yin deficiency. Ju Yunruo Maozhi suffered from this condition for a long time. I taught him this prescription, and he recovered after taking it. Sanhuang San is also effective.
Dahuang (1 liang, wrapped in wet paper, steam in a zeng) Huanglian (half liang, remove the roots) Huangqin (remove the skin, half liang)
Grind all into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with fresh water. Honey water is also acceptable.
Shanzhizi, any amount. Burn until the carbon remains but the original nature is preserved. Grind into powder and insufflate into the nose. Recovery is immediate.
Cai Ziwo recorded: Zhao Wuci, the wine supervisor of Wuxi in Tongguan, had a brother who suffered from severe epistaxis and died. Even during embalming, the bleeding had not stopped. A Daoist happened to pass by the door, heard the family crying, and asked about the cause. The Daoist said: "This is due to having taken elixirs or alchemical medicines. I have medicine to treat it." He then took out half a qianbi of this medicine from his bag and insufflated it [into the nose].
