（河间）益元散 一名六一散。一名天水散。治中暑身热烦渴，小水不利。河间云∶治痢
之圣药，分利阴阳，去湿热，其功大矣。
粉甘草（一两） 桂府滑石（飞，六两）
上为极细末。每服二、三钱，新汲水调下。一方加辰砂三钱，名朱砂益元散；一方加牛
黄，治烦而不得眠。
《局方》香连丸 治热泻痢疾，赤白脓血，湿热侵脾，里急后重。
黄连（净，十两，切如豆粒，用净吴茱萸五两，二味用热水拌和，入瓷罐内置热汤中炖
一日，同炒至黄连紫黄色为度，去茱萸不用） 木香（每制净黄连一两，用木香钱半）
上为末，醋糊丸，桐子大。每服七十丸，食前，空心米饮下。
《良方》六神丸 治食积兼热，赤白痢疾，或腹痛不食，或久而不止。
神曲（为糊） 麦芽（炒） 茯苓 枳壳（麸炒） 木香（煨） 黄连（炒焦黑，等分）
上为末，以神曲糊为丸，桐子大。每服五、七十丸，白汤送下。
八正散 治心经蕴热，脏腑秘结，小便赤涩，淋闭不通，及血淋等证。
车前子 木通 滑石（飞） 山栀 大黄（煨） 瞿麦 蓄
加灯心、竹叶，水煎服。
五淋散 治膀胱有热，水道不通，淋沥不止，脐腹急痛，或尿如豆汁，或如砂石，膏淋
、尿血并皆治之。
茵陈 淡竹叶（各一钱） 木通 滑石 甘草（各钱半） 栀子（炒） 赤芍药 赤茯苓（各二钱）
水二钟，煎一钟，食前服。
《局方》薷苓汤 治夏月暑泻欲成痢者。
香薷 黄连（姜汁炒） 浓朴（姜炒） 扁豆（炒） 猪苓 泽泻 白术 茯苓（等分）
上咀。每服五、六钱，水钟半，姜三片，煎七分服。
《局方》太平丸 治泄泻。
黄连（同吴茱萸炒，去茱萸不用） 芍药（炒，减半）
上为末，老米糊丸服。同干姜炒，加阿胶一半为丸，名驻车丸。
《本事》火府丹 治心经积热，小便淋涩，黄胆烦渴。
生地黄（二两，杵膏） 木通 黄芩（炒，各一两）
上以二味为末，加蜜丸桐子大。每服五、七十丸，木通汤下。许学士云∶一卒病渴，日
饮水斗许，不食者三月，心中烦闷。时在十月，余谓心经有伏热，与火府丹数服。越二日来
谢，云∶当日三服，渴止；又三服，饮食如故。此本治淋，用以治渴，可谓通变也。
真珠粉丸 治精滑白浊。
黄柏 真蛤粉（各一斤） 真珠（三两，一方代以青黛亦效）
上为末，水糊丸，桐子大。每服百丸，空心温酒下，或加樗皮、滑石、青黛俱好。
《局方》导赤散 治心火及小肠热证，小便赤涩而渴。
生地 木通 生甘草（各等分）
入竹叶二十片，水煎服。一方加人参、麦门冬。
赤茯苓汤 治膀胱实热，小便不通，口干，咽肿不利。
赤茯苓 猪苓 木通 车前子 瞿麦 葵子 黄芩 滑石 枳实 甘草（各等分）
水一钟半，姜三片，煎八分，食前服。
《济生》葵子汤 治膀胱实热，腹胀，小便不通，口舌干燥。
葵子（微炒） 猪苓 赤茯苓 枳实 瞿麦 木通 黄芩 车前子 滑石（各一钱） 甘草（五分）
上用水一钟半，姜煎，空心服。
牛膝汤 治砂石淋涩。
牛膝（一合） 麝香（少许）
上用水煎牛膝去滓，入麝香服之。鄞县耿梦得之内患淋，下砂石剥剥有声，甚为苦楚，
一服而愈。
三味牛膝汤 治小便不通，茎中痛，及妇人血热内结，腹坚痛。
牛膝（根叶一握，生用） 当归（一两） 黄芩（去黑心，半两）
上咀。每服一两许，水一钟半，煎七分，食远服，日三。
海金沙散 治膏淋。
海金沙 滑石（各一两） 甘草（二钱半）
上为细末。每服二钱，灯草汤空心调下。
茵陈汤 治黄胆发热，大小便涩。
茵陈 栀子仁（各二钱） 赤茯苓 葶苈（各钱半） 枳实 甘草（各五分）
水一钟半，姜三片，煎八分，食前服。
《活人》茯苓渗湿汤 治黄胆湿热，呕吐而渴，身目俱黄，小便不利，食少而热。

上水煎服。
（东垣）当归拈痛汤 治湿热为病，肢节烦疼，肩背沉重，胸膈不利，手足遍身流注疼痛，热肿等证。
羌活 黄芩 炙甘草 茵陈（各五钱） 人参 苦参 升麻 干葛 苍术（各二钱） 防风 归
身白术 知母 猪苓 泽泻（各一钱半）
上 咀。每服一两，水煎空心服，临睡再服。
《活人》犀角散 治香港脚冲心，烦喘闷乱，头痛口干，坐卧不得。
犀角屑 枳壳（麸炒） 沉香（各七钱半） 槟榔 紫苏（茎叶） 麦门冬 赤茯苓（各一两） 木
香防风（各半两） 石膏（生用，研，二两）
上 咀。每服八钱，以水一钟半，煎八分，去 ，入淡竹沥一合，更煎一、二沸。不拘时温服。
（东垣）清燥汤 治六七月间湿热成痿，肺金受邪，腰以下痿软，瘫痪不能动，行走不正，两足欹侧。
柴胡 酒黄柏 黄连 麦冬（各三分） 生地 人参（各一钱） 炙甘草 猪苓 白茯苓 橘红

上 咀。每服半两，水二盏，煎一盏，稍热空心服。
苍术汤 治湿热腰腿疼痛。
苍术（三钱） 柴胡（二钱） 黄柏 防风（各一钱）
上用水煎，空心服。
（丹溪）二妙散 治湿热在经，筋骨疼痛，如有气，加气药；如血虚，加补血药；如痛甚
，加姜汁热辣服之。
黄柏（炒） 苍术（去皮，炒制，等分）
上为末。捣生姜煎沸汤调服。此二物皆有雄壮之气，如气实者，加少酒佐之。此即《集
要》二神汤，各三钱半，用水煎，空心服。
一方以二妙为君，加甘草、羌活（各二钱） 陈皮、芍药（各一钱） 威灵仙（酒炒，五分） 为末，服之佳。
加味二妙丸 治两足湿痹，疼痛如火燎，从两足跗热起，渐至腰胯，或麻痹痿软，皆是
湿热为病，此方主之。
归尾 川牛膝 川萆 防己 龟板（酥炙，各一两） 苍术（米泔浸炒，四两） 黄柏（二两，
酒浸，晒干）
酒煮面糊为丸，桐子大。每服百丸，空心姜、盐汤送下。
（《丹溪》）苍术黄柏丸 治湿热，食积，痰饮，流注，香港脚。
苍术（盐水炒） 黄柏（盐水炒） 防己 南星 川芎 白芷 犀角 槟榔（等分）
上为末，酒糊丸服。血虚，加牛膝、龟板；肥人，加痰药。
《正传》虎胫骨丸 治两足痿弱软痛，或如火焙，从足踝下上冲腿膝等证因热所成者，经验。
牛膝 归尾（各二两） 龟板（酥炙） 虎胫骨（酥炙） 防己（各一两） 苍术（米泔浸一宿） 黄
檗（酒浸日晒，各四两）
上为细末，面糊为丸，桐子大。每服百余丸，空心姜、盐汤送下。一方加炮附子五钱。
（河间）苦参丸 治血虚风热着痹。
苦参（二两，取粉） 丹参（炙） 沙参 人参 防风（去叉） 五加皮 蒺藜（炒去刺） 乌蛇
（酒浸取肉） 蔓荆子 龟板（酥炙） 虎骨（酥炙） 玄参（各一两）
上为细末，用不蛀皂角一斤锉碎，以水三升挪取汁，于无油铁器熬成膏，加炼蜜
四两和丸，桐子大。
每服十五丸至二十丸，食后良久，夜卧共三服，荆芥薄荷酒下。
（陈氏）苦参丸 方在外科。
治遍身瘙痒，癣疥疮疡。
（钱氏）苦参丸 方在痘疹。治痘后溃烂，疮毒疥癞。
朱砂凉膈丸 治上焦虚热，肺脘咽膈有气如烟抢上。
黄连 山栀（各一两） 人参 茯苓（各半两） 朱砂（三钱，另研） 冰片（五分，另研）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，桐子大，朱砂为衣。熟水送下五、七丸，日进三服。食后。
（东垣）朱砂安神丸 一名黄连安神丸。治心神烦乱，发热怔忡不寐，或寐中惊悸头运等证。
生地 朱砂（另飞为衣） 当归（各一钱） 甘草（五分） 黄连（一钱半）
汤浸蒸饼为丸，黍米大。每服十五丸至二十丸，津液咽之，或食后用温水、凉水送下亦可。
（钱氏）安神丸 治热渴心闷，脉实颊赤口燥。
麦冬 马牙硝 白茯苓 寒水石 山药 甘草（各五钱） 朱砂（一两） 龙脑（一字）
上为末，炼蜜丸，芡实大。每服一丸，沙糖水化下。
《秘旨》安神丸 方在小儿。治心虚惊悸。
十味安神丸 方在小儿。治虚惊。
七味安神丸 方在小儿。治心热多惊。
《集验》龙脑安神丸 治男妇小儿五积癫痫，不论远近，发作无时，但服此药，无不痊愈。

丸。如病二、三年者，日进三服。若男妇虚劳，喘嗽发热者，用新汲水化下，其喘满痰嗽立止。
（万氏）龙脑安神丸 方在小儿。治惊痰，及痘中昏闷谵妄。
抑青丸 治肝火。
黄连（姜汁炒）
上单用一味为末，粥丸，温水下。
（钱氏）抑青丸 方在小儿。治肝热急惊搐搦。
泻青丸 治肝胆火，并小儿急惊发搐，眼赤睛疼。
龙胆草 当归 川芎 防风 羌活 山栀 大黄（等分）
炼蜜为丸，桐子大。每服五十丸。
泻金丸 治肺火。
用黄芩为末，滴水丸。白汤下。
（丹溪）茱连丸 治湿热吐酸。
黄连（陈壁土炒，二两） 黄芩（制同，一两） 陈皮 苍术（米泔浸） 吴茱萸（煮少时，浸半
日，晒干，各一两） 或加桔梗 茯苓各一两。
上为末，神曲糊丸，绿豆大。每服二、三十丸，食后津液送下。
左金丸 治肝火胁肋刺痛，或发寒热，或头目作痛，淋秘、泄泻，一切肝火等证。
黄连（六两，炒） 吴茱萸（一两，汤泡片时，炮干用）
上为末，粥丸，梧子大。白术、陈皮煎汤下三、四、五十丸。
大补丸 治阴火。
黄柏（盐酒炒褐色）
米粥丸。血虚，四物汤送下；气虚，四君子汤送下。
大造丸 此方治阴虚血热，能使耳目聪明，须发乌黑，有夺造化之功，故名大造。亦治
心风失志，虚劳水亏等证。
紫河车（头生壮盛者一具，以米泔洗净，少加酒，蒸极烂捣膏，以山药末收，烘干用；
或洗净即以新瓦上焙干用） 败龟板（自死者，酥炙，二两） 黄柏（盐酒炒，两半） 杜仲（酥炙，
两半） 牛膝（酒洗，一两二钱） 天门冬 麦门冬（各一两二钱） 熟地（二两半，用砂仁末六钱，茯
苓二两一块，同稀绢包，入好酒煮七次，去茯苓不用） 夏加五味子七钱
上除熟地黄另杵外，共为末，用酒煮米糊同熟地膏捣丸，桐子大；或蜜丸亦可。每服八
、九十丸，空心临卧盐汤、姜汤任下，冬月酒下。妇人，加当归二两，去龟板；男子遗精白
浊，妇人带下，加牡蛎一两半。
（丹溪）大补阴丸 降阴火，补肾水。
黄柏（盐酒炒） 知母（盐酒炒，各四两） 熟地（酒洗，蒸，捣烂） 龟板（酥炙黄，各六两）
上为细末，用猪脊髓蒸熟，和炼蜜同捣为丸，桐子大。每服五、六十丸，空心姜、盐、酒送下。
《秘传》大补天丸 治男妇虚损劳伤，形体羸乏，腰背疼痛，遗精带浊。
紫河车（初胎者一具，米泔洗净，入小砂罐内，加水一碗煮沸，候冷取起，放竹篮中，
四围用纸糊密，烘干为末，入群药和匀） 黄柏（蜜炒） 知母（乳炒） 龟板（酥炙，各三两）

上为细末，用猪脊髓三条蒸熟，同炼蜜和捣为丸，桐子大。每服八十丸，空心淡盐汤下，冬月酒下。
大补地黄丸 治精血枯涸燥热。
黄柏（盐酒炒） 熟地（酒蒸，各四两） 当归（酒洗） 山药（炒） 枸杞（各三两） 知母（盐酒
炒） 山茱萸 白芍药（各二两） 生地（二两半） 肉苁蓉（酒浸） 玄参（各两半）
上为末，炼蜜丸，桐子大。每服七、八十丸，空心淡盐汤送下。
（丹溪）补阴丸 一名虎潜丸。降阴火，滋肾水。
黄柏（制） 知母（制） 熟地（酒洗，各三两） 龟板（酥炙，四两） 白芍（酒炒） 当归 牛膝
（各二两） 虎胫骨（酥炙） 锁阳（酥炙） 陈皮（各两半）
上为细末，酒煮羯羊肉为丸，桐子大。冬加干姜半两。每服五、六十丸，姜盐汤，或酒下。
（节斋）补阴丸
黄柏 知母（俱酒炒） 龟板（各三两） 熟地（五两） 锁阳 枸杞 天冬 白芍（各二两） 五味
（一两） 干姜（五钱）
（刘河间）益元散，又名六一散，又名天水散。主治中暑引起的身体发热、心烦口渴，以及小便不通畅。河间说：这是治疗痢疾的圣药，能分利阴阳，清除湿热，功效巨大。
将上述药材研磨成极细的粉末。每次服用二至三钱，用新汲取的凉水调服。另一方加入辰砂三钱，名为朱砂益元散；另一方加入牛黄，用于治疗心烦导致无法入睡的症状。
《太平惠民和剂局方》香连丸。主治热性腹泻痢疾，排出赤白脓血，湿热侵袭脾脏，出现里急后重感。
黄连（净选，十两，切成豆粒大小，用净吴茱萸五两，两味药用水湿润拌匀，放入瓷罐中置于热水中炖煮一天，同炒至黄连呈紫黄色为止，去掉茱萸不用） 木香（每制备净黄连一两，使用木香钱半）
将上述药材研末，用醋糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用七十丸，饭前空腹时，用米汤送服。
《良方》六神丸。主治食积兼有热邪，赤白痢疾，或者腹痛不想吃东西，或者病程长久不止。
神曲（制成糊状） 麦芽（炒制） 茯苓 枳壳（麸皮炒） 木香（煨制） 黄连（炒至焦黑，各等分）
将上述药材研末，用神曲糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用五至七十丸，用白开水送服。
八正散。主治心经蕴藏热邪，脏腑便秘，小便红赤涩痛，淋证闭阻不通，以及血淋等症状。
五淋散。主治膀胱有热，水道不通畅，淋漓不尽，脐腹部拘急疼痛，或者尿液像豆汁一样，或者像砂石一样，膏淋、尿血也都治疗。
茵陈 淡竹叶（各一钱） 木通 滑石 甘草（各钱半） 栀子（炒制） 赤芍药 赤茯苓（各二钱）
用水二钟，煎取一钟，饭前服用。
《太平惠民和剂局方》薷苓汤。主治夏季暑湿腹泻快要变成痢疾的情况。
香薷 黄连（姜汁炒） 浓朴（姜炒） 扁豆（炒制） 猪苓 泽泻 白术 茯苓（各等分）
将药材切碎。每次服用五至六钱，用水一钟半，生姜三片，煎取七分药液服用。
将上述药材研末，用老米糊制成丸药服用。若与干姜同炒，加入一半阿胶制成丸药，名为驻车丸。
将上述两味药研末，加入蜂蜜制成如梧桐子大的丸药。每次服用五至七十丸，用木通汤送服。许学士说：有一个士兵患口渴病，每天饮水约一斗，三个月不进食，心中烦闷。当时是十月，我认为他是心经有伏热，给予火府丹服用数次。过了两天来道谢，说：当天服用三次，口渴停止；又服用三次，饮食恢复正常。这本来是治疗淋证的药，用来治疗口渴，可以说是灵活变通了。
真珠粉丸。主治遗精滑泄、白浊。
黄柏 真蛤粉（各一斤） 真珠（三两，另一方用青黛代替也有效）
将上述药材研末，用水糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用一百丸，空腹时用温酒送服，或者加入樗树皮、滑石、青黛都可以。
《太平惠民和剂局方》导赤散。主治心火及小肠热证，小便红赤涩痛且口渴。
赤茯苓 猪苓 木通 车前子 瞿麦 葵子 黄芩 滑石 枳实 甘草（各等分）
用水一钟半，生姜三片，煎取八分药液，饭前服用。
葵子（微炒） 猪苓 赤茯苓 枳实 瞿麦 木通 黄芩 车前子 滑石（各一钱） 甘草（五分）
用水一钟半，加生姜煎煮，空腹服用。
用水煎牛膝去渣，加入麝香服用。鄞县耿梦得的妻子患淋证，排出砂石剥落有声，非常痛苦，服用一次就好了。
三味牛膝汤。主治小便不通，尿道疼痛，以及妇人血热内结，腹部坚硬疼痛。
牛膝（根叶一把，生用） 当归（一两） 黄芩（去掉黑心，半两）
将药材切碎。每次服用一两左右，用水一钟半，煎取七分药液，饭后服用，每日三次。
将上述药材研成细末。每次服用二钱，空腹时用灯心草汤调服。
茵陈 栀子仁（各二钱） 赤茯苓 葶苈（各钱半） 枳实 甘草（各五分）
用水一钟半，生姜三片，煎取八分药液，饭前服用。
《活人书》茯苓渗湿汤。主治黄疸湿热，呕吐且口渴，全身面目俱黄，小便不利，食欲少且发热。
白茯苓 泽泻 茵陈 青皮 陈皮 防己（各五分） 栀子 黄芩（各八分） 黄连 枳实（各七分） 苍术 白术（各一钱）
用水煎服。
（李东垣）当归拈痛汤。主治湿热为病，肢节烦疼，肩背沉重，胸膈不畅，手足遍身流注疼痛，热肿等症状。

将药材切碎。每次服用一两，用水煎空腹服用，临睡前再服一次。
《活人书》犀角散。主治脚气冲心，烦躁气喘闷乱，头痛口干，坐卧不安。
犀角屑 枳壳（麸皮炒） 沉香（各七钱半） 槟榔 紫苏（茎叶） 麦门冬 赤茯苓（各一两） 木香防风（各半两） 石膏（生用，研碎，二两）
将药材切碎。每次服用八钱，用水一钟半，煎取八分药液，去渣，加入淡竹沥一合，再煎一二沸。不拘时候温服。
（李东垣）清燥汤。主治六七月份湿热导致痿证，肺金受邪，腰部以下痿软，瘫痪不能动，行走不正，两足歪斜。

将药材切碎。每次服用半两，用水二盏，煎取一盏，稍热时空腹服用。
用水煎煮，空腹服用。
（朱丹溪）二妙散。主治湿热在经络，筋骨疼痛，如有气滞，加理气药；如血虚，加补血药；如疼痛严重，加姜汁热服。
将上述药材研末。捣生姜煎沸水调服。这两味药都有雄壮之气，如果气实者，加少量酒辅助。这就是《卫生宝鉴》中的二神汤，各三钱半，用水煎煮，空腹服用。
另一方以二妙散为主，加入甘草、羌活（各二钱） 陈皮、芍药（各一钱） 威灵仙（酒炒，五分），研末服用效果佳。
加味二妙丸。主治两足湿痹，疼痛如火烧，从两足背热起，逐渐蔓延至腰胯，或者麻痹痿软，都是湿热为病，此方主治。
归尾 川牛膝 川萆薢 防己 龟板（酥炙，各一两） 苍术（米泔水浸炒，四两） 黄柏（二两，酒浸，晒干）
用酒煮面糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用一百丸，空腹时用姜、盐汤送服。
（《丹溪心法》）苍术黄柏丸。主治湿热，食积，痰饮，流注，脚气。
苍术（盐水炒） 黄柏（盐水炒） 防己 南星 川芎 白芷 犀角 槟榔（各等分）
将上述药材研末，用酒糊制成丸药服用。血虚者，加牛膝、龟板；肥胖者，加化痰药。
《正传》虎胫骨丸。主治两足痿弱软痛，或者如火烤，从足踝向上冲击腿膝等症状，因热所致者，经验效方。
牛膝 归尾（各二两） 龟板（酥炙） 虎胫骨（酥炙） 防己（各一两） 苍术（米泔水浸泡一夜） 黄柏（酒浸日晒，各四两）
将上述药材研成细末，用面糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用百余丸，空腹时用姜、盐汤送服。另一方加入炮附子五钱。
苦参（二两，取粉） 丹参（炙制） 沙参 人参 防风（去叉枝） 五加皮 蒺藜（炒去刺） 乌蛇（酒浸取肉） 蔓荆子 龟板（酥炙） 虎骨（酥炙） 玄参（各一两）
将上述药材研成细末，用不蛀皂角一斤锉碎，用水三升揉取汁，在无油铁器中熬成膏，加入炼蜜四两和丸，如梧桐子大。
每次服用十五丸至二十丸，饭后良久，夜卧时共服三次，用荆芥薄荷酒送服。
黄连 山栀（各一两） 人参 茯苓（各半两） 朱砂（三钱，另研） 冰片（五分，另研）
将上述药材研成细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大，朱砂为衣。熟水送服五至七丸，每日进服三次。饭后服用。
（李东垣）朱砂安神丸，又名黄连安神丸。主治心神烦乱，发热怔忡失眠，或者睡眠中惊悸头晕等症状。
生地 朱砂（另飞为衣） 当归（各一钱） 甘草（五分） 黄连（一钱半）
用汤浸蒸饼制成丸药，如黍米大。每次服用十五丸至二十丸，津液吞咽，或者饭后用温水、凉水送服也可以。

将上述药材研末，炼蜜为丸，如芡实大。每次服用一丸，沙糖水化开服用。

研成细末，炼蜜为丸，如弹子大，金箔为衣。寒证用热水，热证用凉水，不拘时候化开一丸服用，小儿服用半丸。如果患病二、三年者，每日进服三次。如果是男女虚劳，喘嗽发热者，用新汲水化开服用，其喘满痰嗽立即停止。
（万全）龙脑安神丸。方见小儿科。主治惊痰，以及痘疹中昏闷谵妄。
黄连（姜汁炒）
单用一味药研末，粥糊为丸，温水送服。
炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用五十丸。
用黄芩研末，滴水为丸。白开水送服。
黄连（陈壁土炒，二两） 黄芩（制法相同，一两） 陈皮 苍术（米泔浸） 吴茱萸（煮少许时间，浸半天，晒干，各一两） 或者加桔梗 茯苓各一两。
将上述药材研末，神曲糊为丸，如绿豆大。每次服用二、三十丸，饭后用津液送服。
左金丸。主治肝火胁肋刺痛，或者发寒热，或者头目作痛，淋秘、泄泻，一切肝火等症状。
将上述药材研末，粥糊为丸，如梧子大。用白术、陈皮煎汤送服三、四、五十丸。
黄柏（盐酒炒至褐色）
米粥为丸。血虚者，四物汤送服；气虚者，四君子汤送服。
大造丸。此方主治阴虚血热，能使耳目聪明，须发乌黑，有夺造化之功，故名大造。也治疗心风失志，虚劳水亏等症状。
紫河车（初生壮盛者一具，用米泔洗净，少加酒，蒸极烂捣膏，用山药末收住，烘干使用；或者洗净即在新瓦上焙干使用） 败龟板（自死者，酥炙，二两） 黄柏（盐酒炒，一两半） 杜仲（酥炙，一两半） 牛膝（酒洗，一两二钱） 天门冬 麦门冬（各一两二钱） 熟地（二两半，用砂仁末六钱，茯苓二两一块，同稀绢包，入好酒煮七次，去掉茯苓不用） 夏季加五味子七钱
除熟地黄另捣外，其余共为末，用酒煮米糊同熟地膏捣丸，如梧桐子大；或者蜜丸也可以。每次服用八、九十丸，空腹临卧时用盐汤、姜汤任送服，冬季用酒送服。妇人，加当归二两，去掉龟板；男子遗精白浊，妇人带下，加牡蛎一两半。

《秘传》大补天丸。主治男女虚损劳伤，形体羸乏，腰背疼痛，遗精带浊。

(Liu Hejian) Yiyuan San (Benefit the Origin Powder), also known as Liuyi San (Six-to-One Powder) or Tianshui San (Heaven and Water Powder). It treats heatstroke with body fever, irritability, thirst, and difficult urination. Hejian stated: This is a sacred medicine for treating dysentery; it separates and benefits Yin and Yang, removes damp-heat, and its efficacy is great.
Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), prepared powder, 1 liang. Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*), from Guifu, flown, 6 liang.
Grind the above into an extremely fine powder. Take 2 to 3 qian each time, mixed with newly drawn cool water. Another prescription adds 3 qian of Zhensha (Cinnabar, *Cinnabaris*) and is named Zhusha Yiyuan San (Cinnabar Benefit the Origin Powder); another prescription adds Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis, *Bovis Calculus*) to treat irritability leading to insomnia.
*Ju Fang* (Prescriptions of the Bureau of Taiping People's Welfare Pharmacy) Xianglian Wan (Aucklandia and Coptis Pill). It treats hot diarrhea and dysentery with red and white pus and blood, damp-heat invading the Spleen, and tenesmus.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), cleaned, 10 liang, cut into bean-sized pieces. Use Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, *Evodiae Fructus*), cleaned, 5 liang. Mix the two ingredients with warm water, place in a porcelain jar, and stew in hot water for one day. Stir-fry together until Huanglian turns purple-yellow, then discard Wuzhuyu. Muxiang (Costus Root, *Saussureae Radix*). For every 1 liang of prepared clean Huanglian, use 1.5 qian of Muxiang.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with vinegar paste, size of Sophora seeds. Take 70 pills before meals, on an empty stomach, washed down with rice drink.
*Liang Fang* (Good Prescriptions) Liushen Wan (Six Spirits Pill). It treats food stagnation combined with heat, red and white dysentery, abdominal pain with loss of appetite, or chronic cases that do not stop.
Shenqu (Medicated Leaven, *Massae Fermentatae Medicatae*), made into paste. Maiya (Sprouted Hordeum, *Hordei Fructus Germinatus*), stir-fried. Fuling (Poria, *Poria*). Zhike (Aurantium Fructus Immaturus, *Aurantii Fructus Immaturus*), bran-fried. Muxiang (Costus Root, *Saussureae Radix*), baked. Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), stir-fried until scorched black, equal parts.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with Shenqu paste, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 to 70 pills each time, washed down with plain boiled water.
Bazheng San (Eight Upright Powder). It treats heat hidden in the Heart Meridian, constipation of the Zang-Fu organs, dark and scanty urine, strangury with obstruction, and blood strangury.
Cheqianzi (Plantago Seed, *Plantaginis Semen*). Mutong (Akebia Caulis, *Akebiae Caulis*). Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*), flown. Shanzhi (Gardeniae Fructus, *Gardeniae Fructus*). Dahuang (Rhubarb Root and Rhizome, *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*), baked. Qumai (Dianthus Herb, *Dianthi Herba*). Lvxing (Field Horsetail Herb, *Equiseti Hiemalis Herba*).
Add Dengxincao (Juncus Medulla, *Junci Medulla*) and Zhuye (Bamboo Leaf, *Phyllostachidis Folium*), decoct in water and take.
Wulin San (Five Strangury Powder). It treats heat in the Bladder, obstruction of the urinary pathway, continuous dribbling, acute pain in the umbilical and abdominal regions, urine resembling bean juice or gravel, and also treats gao lin (chyluria) and hematuria.
Yinchen (Artemisia Capillaris Herb, *Artemisiae Scopariae Herba*). Danzhuye (Lophatherum Leaf, *Lophatheri Herba*), each 1 qian. Mutong (Akebia Caulis, *Akebiae Caulis*). Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*). Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), each 1.5 qian. Zhizi (Gardeniae Fructus, *Gardeniae Fructus*), stir-fried. Chishao (Red Peony Root, *Paeoniae Radix Rubra*). Chifuling (Red Poria, *Poria cum Rubro Corde*), each 2 qian.
Decoct 2 zhong of water to obtain 1 zhong, take before meals.
*Ju Fang* (Prescriptions of the Bureau of Taiping People's Welfare Pharmacy) Ruling Tang (Elsholtzia and Polyporus Decoction). It treats summerheat diarrhea about to become dysentery.
Xiangru (Elsholtzia Herb, *Elsholtziae Herba*). Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), fried with ginger juice. Houpo (Magnolia Bark, *Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex*), fried with ginger. Bian Dou (Lablab Seed, *Dolichoris Semen*), stir-fried. Zhuling (Polyporus, *Polyporus). Zexie (Alisma Rhizome, *Alismatis Rhizoma*). Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma*). Fuling (Poria, *Poria*), equal parts.
Cut the herbs. Take 5 to 6 qian each time, with 1.5 zhong of water and 3 slices of ginger, decoct to 0.7 portion and take.
*Ju Fang* (Prescriptions of the Bureau of Taiping People's Welfare Pharmacy) Taiping Wan (Peace and Order Pill). It treats diarrhea.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), stir-fried with Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, *Evodiae Fructus*), discard Wuzhuyu. Shaoyao (Peony Root, *Paeoniae Radix*), stir-fried, half dose.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with old rice paste and take. If stir-fried with Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, *Zingiberis Rhizoma*) and added with half dose of Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, *Asini Corii Colla*), it is named Zhuche Wan (Park the Cart Pill).
*Benshi Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) Huofu Dan (Fire Mansion Pellet). It treats accumulated heat in the Heart Meridian, painful and difficult urination, jaundice with irritability and thirst.
Shengdihuang (Rehmannia Root, *Rehmanniae Radix*), 2 liang, pounded into paste. Mutong (Akebia Caulis, *Akebiae Caulis*). Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*), stir-fried, each 1 liang.
Grind the above two ingredients into powder, add honey and make pills size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 to 70 pills each time, washed down with Mutong decoction. Scholar Xu said: A soldier suffered from thirst, drinking about one dou of water daily, not eating for three months, with mental irritability. It was October, and I considered it latent heat in the Heart Meridian, giving him Huofu Dan several times. Two days later he came to thank me, saying: After taking it three times that day, the thirst stopped; after three more doses, his diet returned to normal. This was originally for treating strangury, used here for thirst, showing flexibility.
Zhenzhu Fen Wan (Pearl Powder Pill). It treats seminal emission and leukorrhea.
Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*). Zhengefen (Clam Shell Powder, *Concha Arcae*). Zhenzhu (Margarita, *Margarita*), 3 liang. Another formula uses Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis, *Indigo Naturalis*) instead, which is also effective.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with water paste, size of Sophora seeds. Take 100 pills each time, on an empty stomach, washed down with warm wine. Adding Chupi (Bignay Bark, *Toonae Cortex*), Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*), or Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis, *Indigo Naturalis*) are all good.
*Ju Fang* (Prescriptions of the Bureau of Taiping People's Welfare Pharmacy) Daochi San (Directing Red Powder). It treats Heart Fire and Small Intestine Heat syndromes, with dark, scanty, painful urination and thirst.
Shengdi (Rehmannia Root, *Rehmanniae Radix*). Mutong (Akebia Caulis, *Akebiae Caulis*). Sheng Gancao (Fresh Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), equal parts.
Add 20 leaves of Zhuye (Bamboo Leaf, *Phyllostachidis Folium*), decoct in water and take. Another formula adds Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Ginseng Radix*) and Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber, *Ophiopogonis Tuber*).
Chifuling Tang (Red Poria Decoction). It treats excess heat in the Bladder, inability to urinate, dry mouth, and swollen, obstructed throat.
Chifuling (Red Poria, *Poria cum Rubro Corde*). Zhuling (Polyporus, *Polyporus*). Mutong (Akebia Caulis, *Akebiae Caulis*). Cheqianzi (Plantago Seed, *Plantaginis Semen*). Qumai (Dianthus Herb, *Dianthi Herba*). Kuizi (Abelmoschus Seed, *Abelmoschi Semen*). Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*). Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*). Zhishi (Aurantium Fructus Immaturus, *Aurantii Fructus Immaturus*). Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), equal parts.

*Jisheng Fang* (Prescriptions for Sustaining Life) Kuizi Tang (Abelmoschus Seed Decoction). It treats excess heat in the Bladder, abdominal distension, inability to urinate, and dry mouth and tongue.
Kuizi (Abelmoschus Seed, *Abelmoschi Semen*), slightly stir-fried. Zhuling (Polyporus, *Polyporus*). Chifuling (Red Poria, *Poria cum Rubro Corde*). Zhishi (Aurantium Fructus Immaturus, *Aurantii Fructus Immaturus*). Qumai (Dianthus Herb, *Dianthi Herba*). Mutong (Akebia Caulis, *Akebiae Caulis*). Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*). Cheqianzi (Plantago Seed, *Plantaginis Semen*). Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*), each 1 qian. Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), 0.5 qian.
Decoct with 1.5 zhong of water and ginger, take on an empty stomach.
Niuxi Tang (Achyranthes Decoction). It treats gravel strangury with pain.
Niuxi (Achyranthes Root, *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix*), 1 he. Shexiang (Musk, *Moschus*), a small amount.
Decoct Niuxi in water, remove dregs, add Shexiang and take. The wife of Geng Mengde from Yinxian suffered from strangury, passing gravel with a scraping sound, causing great suffering. One dose cured her.
Sanwei Niuxi Tang (Three-Ingredient Achyranthes Decoction). It treats inability to urinate, pain in the urethra, and in women, internal binding of blood heat with hard, painful abdomen.
Niuxi (Achyranthes Root and Leaves, *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix et Folium*), one handful, raw. Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*), 1 liang. Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*), remove black heart, 0.5 liang.
Cut the herbs. Take about 1 liang each time, with 1.5 zhong of water, decoct to 0.7 portion, take far from meals, three times a day.
Haijinsha San (Sea Gold Sand Powder). It treats gao lin (chyluria).
Haijinsha (Lygodium Spores, *Lygodii Spora*). Huashi (Talcum, *Talcum*), each 1 liang. Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), 2.5 qian.
Grind the above into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, on an empty stomach, mixed with Dengcao (Juncus) decoction.
Yinchen Tang (Artemisia Capillaris Decoction). It treats jaundice with fever and difficult urination and defecation.
Yinchen (Artemisia Capillaris Herb, *Artemisiae Scopariae Herba*). Zhiren (Gardenia Seed, *Gardeniae Semen*), each 2 qian. Chifuling (Red Poria, *Poria cum Rubro Corde*). Tingli (Descurainia Seed, *Descurainiae Semen*), each 1.5 qian. Zhishi (Aurantium Fructus Immaturus, *Aurantii Fructus Immaturus*). Decoct 1.5 zhong of water with 3 slices of ginger to 0.8 portion, take before meals.
*Huoren Shu* (Book of Living People) Fuling Shenshi Tang (Poria Damp-Permeating Decoction). It treats jaundice with damp-heat, vomiting with thirst, yellowing of the whole body and eyes, difficult urination, poor appetite with fever.
Baifuling (White Poria, *Poria*). Zexie (Alisma Rhizome, *Alismatis Rhizoma*). Yinchen (Artemisia Capillaris Herb, *Artemisiae Scopariae Herba*). Qingpi (Green Tangerina Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride*). Chenpi (Tangerina Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*). Fangji (Stephania Root, *Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix*), each 0.5 qian. Zhizi (Gardeniae Fructus, *Gardeniae Fructus*). Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*), each 0.8 qian. Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*). (Li Dongyuan) Danggui Niantong Tang (Angelica Relieving Pain Decoction). It treats diseases caused by damp-heat, vexing pain in limbs and joints, heaviness in shoulders and back, oppression in chest and diaphragm, flowing pain throughout hands, feet, and body, and hot swelling.
Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome, *Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix*). Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*). Zhi Gancao (Prepared Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), honey-fried. Yinchen (Artemisia Capillaris Herb, *Artemisiae Scopariae Herba*), each 5 qian. Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Ginseng Radix*). Kushen (Sophora Root, *Sophorae Flavescentis Radix*). Shengma (Cimicifuga Rhizome, *Cimicifugae Rhizoma*). Gan Ge (Kudzu Root, *Puerariae Lobatae Radix*). Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), each 2 qian. Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, *Saposhnikoviae Radix*). *Huoren Shu* (Book of Living People) Xijiao San (Rhinoceros Horn Powder). It treats gout attacking the heart, irritability, panting, confusion, headache, dry mouth, inability to sit or lie comfortably.
Xijiao Xiao (Rhinoceros Horn Shavings, *Rhinocerotis Cornu*). Zhike (Aurantium Fructus Immaturus, *Aurantii Fructus Immaturus*), bran-fried. Chenxiang (Agarwood, *Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum*), each 7.5 qian. Binglang (Areca Seed, *Arecae Semen*). Zisu (Perilla Leaf, *Perillae Folium). Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber, *Ophiopogonis Tuber*). Chifuling (Red Poria, *Poria cum Rubro Corde*), each 1 liang. Muxiang (Costus Root, *Saussureae Radix*). Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, *Saposhnikoviae Radix*), each 0.5 liang. Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, *Gypsum Fibrosum*), raw, ground, 2 liang.
Cut the herbs. Take 8 qian each time, with 1.5 zhong of water, decoct to 0.8 portion, remove dregs, add 1 he of Danshuzhi (Bamboo Sap, *Bambusae Caulis in Tabula Succus*), boil one or two times. Take warm at any time.
(Li Dongyuan) Qingzao Tang (Clear Dryness Decoction). It treats damp-heat causing flaccidity syndrome in July and August, Lung Metal affected by pathogen, flaccidity and paralysis below the waist, inability to move, abnormal walking, and tilted feet.
Chaihu (Bupleurum Root, *Bupleuri Radix*). Jiu Huangbai (Alcohol-processed Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*). Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*). Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber, *Ophiopogonis Tuber*), each 0.3 fen. Shengdi (Rehmannia Root, *Rehmanniae Radix*). Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Ginseng Radix*), each 1 qian. Zhi Gancao (Prepared Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), honey-fried. Zhuling (Polyporus, *Polyporus*). Baifuling (White Poria, *Poria*). Juhong (Red Tangerina Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum*). Shenqu (Medicated Leaven, *Massae Fermentatae Medicatae*). Zexie (Alisma Rhizome, *Alismatis Rhizoma*), each 0.5 fen. Cut the herbs. Take 0.5 liang each time, with two zhan of water, decoct to one zhan, take slightly warm on an empty stomach.
Cangzhu Tang (Atractylodes Lancea Decoction). It treats damp-heat causing lower back and leg pain.
Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), 3 qian. Chaihu (Bupleurum Root, *Bupleuri Radix*), 2 qian. Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*). Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, *Saposhnikoviae Radix*), each 1 qian.
Decoct in water, take on an empty stomach.
(Zhu Danxi) Ermiao San (Two Marvels Powder). It treats damp-heat in the meridians causing bone and joint pain. If there is Qi stagnation, add Qi-regulating herbs; if Blood deficiency, add Blood-nourishing herbs; if pain is severe, add ginger juice and take hot.
Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), stir-fried. Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), peeled, stir-fried, equal parts.
Grind the above into powder. Pound fresh ginger, boil water, and mix to take. These two herbs have strong energy. If Qi is excess, add a little wine to assist. This is Ershen Tang (Two Spirits Decoction) from *Jisheng Yaofang*, 3.5 qian each, decoct in water, take on an empty stomach.
Another formula takes Ermiao as the sovereign, adds Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*) and Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome, *Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix*) (each 2 qian), Chenpi (Tangerina Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*) and Shaoyao (Peony Root, *Paeoniae Radix*) (each 1 qian), Weilingxian (Clematis Root, *Clematidis Radix*) (wine-fried, 0.5 qian), grind into powder and take for best effect.
Jiawei Ermiao Wan (Modified Two Marvels Pill). It treats damp-bi in both legs, pain like burning fire starting from the dorsum of the feet and spreading to the waist and hips, or numbness and flaccidity. All are diseases of damp-heat, and this formula treats them.
Guiwei (Angelica Sinensis Tail, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*). Chuan Niuxi (Cyathula Root, *Cyathulae Radix*). Chuan Bixie (Dioscorea Hypoglauca Rhizome, *Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma*). Fangji (Stephania Root, *Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix*). Guiban (Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*),酥-roasted, each 1 liang. Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), soaked in rice water and stir-fried, 4 liang. Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), 2 liang, soaked in wine and sun-dried.
Make pills with wine-boiled flour paste, size of Sophora seeds. Take 100 pills each time, on an empty stomach, washed down with ginger and salt water.
*(Danxi Xinfa)* Cangzhu Huangbai Wan (Atractylodes and Phellodendron Pill). It treats damp-heat, food stagnation, phlegm-fluid retention, flowing masses, and gout.
Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), salt-water fried. Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), salt-water fried. Fangji (Stephania Root, *Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix*). Nanxing (Pinellia Tuber, *Pinelliae Tuber*). Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome, *Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma*). Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root, *Angelicae Dahuricae Radix*). Xijiao (Rhinoceros Horn, *Rhinocerotis Cornu*). Binglang (Areca Seed, *Arecae Semen*), equal parts.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with wine paste and take. For Blood deficiency, add Niuxi (Achyranthes Root, *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix*) and Guiban (Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*); for obese people, add phlegm-resolving herbs.
*Zhengchuan* Tiger Tibia Bone Pill. It treats flaccidity, weakness, softness, and pain in both legs, or feeling like baking, rising from the ankle up to the knee due to heat. An experienced formula.
Niuxi (Achyranthes Root, *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix*). Guiwei (Angelica Sinensis Tail, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*), each 2 liang. Guiban (Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*),酥-roasted. Hujinggubone (Tiger Tibia Bone, *Pantherae Ossis Tibialis),酥-roasted. Fangji (Stephania Root, *Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix*), each 1 liang. Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), soaked in rice water overnight. Huangbo (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), wine-soaked and sun-dried, each 4 liang.
Grind the above into fine powder, make pills with flour paste, size of Sophora seeds. Take over 100 pills each time, on an empty stomach, washed down with ginger and salt water. Another formula adds 5 qian of Paofuzi (Prepared Aconite Lateralis Radix, *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata*).
(Liu Hejian) Kushen Wan (Sophora Pill). It treats Bi-syndrome caused by Wind-Heat in Blood deficiency.
Kushen (Sophora Root, *Sophorae Flavescentis Radix*), 2 liang, extract powder. Danshen (Salvia Root, *Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix*), roasted. Shashen (Glehnia Root, *Glehniae Radix*). Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Ginseng Radix*). Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, *Saposhnikoviae Radix*), remove twigs. Wujiaopi (Acanthopanacis Cortex, *Acanthopanacis Cortex*). Jili (Tribulus Fruit, *Tribuli Fructus*), stir-fried, remove spines. Wushe (Taipey Snake, *Zaocys), soaked in wine, take meat. Manjingzi (Vernonia Seed, *Vernoniae Semen*). Guiban (Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*),酥-roasted. Hugubone (Tiger Bone, *Pantheris Os*),酥-roasted. Xuanshen (Scrophularia Root, *Scrophulariae Radix*), each 1 liang.
Grind the above into fine powder. Use 1 jin of non-moth-eaten Soap Pod (Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit, *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus*), chop finely, add 3 sheng of water, knead to extract juice, boil in a non-oily iron vessel until it becomes a paste. Add 4 liang of refined honey and make pills, size of Sophora seeds.
Take 15 to 20 pills each time, long after meals, three doses total including night, washed down with Jingjie (Schizonepeta Spike, *Schizonepetae Spica*) and Bohe (Mint Leaf, *Menthae Haplocalycis Herba*) wine.
(Chen Shi) Kushen Wan (Sophora Pill). Formula in Surgery.
It treats generalized itching, tinea, scabies, and sores.
(Qian Yi) Kushen Wan (Sophora Pill). Formula in Varicella. It treats ulceration after chickenpox, sore toxins, and scabies.
Zhusha Liangge Wan (Cinnabar Cooling Diaphragm Pill). It treats deficiency-heat in the Upper Jiao, with sensation of smoke-like Qi rushing up in the lungs, throat, and diaphragm.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*). Zhizi (Gardeniae Fructus, *Gardeniae Fructus*), each 1 liang. Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Ginseng Radix*). Fuling (Poria, *Poria*), each 0.5 liang. Zhusha (Cinnabar, *Cinnabaris*), 3 qian, separately ground. Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum, *Borneolum Syntheticum*), 0.5 fen, separately ground.
Grind the above into fine powder, refine honey to make pills, size of Sophora seeds, coat with Zhusha (Cinnabar, *Cinnabaris*). Take 5 to 7 pills washed down with cooked water, three doses per day. Take after meals.
(Li Dongyuan) Zhusha Anshen Wan (Cinnabar Calming Spirit Pill), also known as Huanglian Anshen Wan (Coptis Calming Spirit Pill). It treats mental restlessness, fever, palpitations, insomnia, or palpitations and dizziness during sleep.
Shengdi (Rehmannia Root, *Rehmanniae Radix*). Zhusha (Cinnabar, *Cinnabaris*), separately flown for coating. Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*), each 1 qian. Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), 0.5 qian. Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), 1.5 qian.
Make pills with steamed bread soaked in decoction, size of millet seeds. Take 15 to 20 pills each time, swallow with saliva, or take after meals with warm or cool water.
(Qian Yi) Anshen Wan (Calming Spirit Pill). It treats heat-thirst, chest stuffiness, excess pulse, red cheeks, and dry mouth.

Grind the above into powder, refine honey to make pills, size of Euryale Seed. Take one pill each time, dissolve in sugar water.
*Mizhi* Anshen Wan (Calming Spirit Pill). Formula in Pediatrics. It treats Heart deficiency with palpitations and fright.
Shiwei Anshen Wan (Ten-Ingredient Calming Spirit Pill). Formula in Pediatrics. It treats deficiency-fright.
Qiwei Anshen Wan (Seven-Ingredient Calming Spirit Pill). Formula in Pediatrics. It treats Heart heat with much fright.
*Jiyan* Longnao Anshen Wan (Dragon Brain Calming Spirit Pill). It treats five accumulations and epilepsy in men, women, and children, regardless of duration or timing of attacks. Taking this medicine ensures recovery.

Digupi (Lycium Bark, *Lycii Cortex*). Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*), honey-fried, each 1 liang. Mayaxiao (Mirabilite, *Natrii Sulfas*), 2 qian. Jinbo (Gold Foil, *Folium Aureum*), thirty-five pieces.
Grind into fine powder, refine honey to make pills, size of a bullet, coat with Jinbo (Gold Foil, *Folium Aureum*). For cold conditions use hot water, for heat conditions use cool water, dissolve one pill at any time. Children take half a pill. For diseases lasting two or three years, take three doses per day. For men and women with deficiency-labor, panting, cough, and fever, dissolve with newly drawn water; panting, fullness, and phlegm-cough will stop immediately.
(Wan Quan) Longnao Anshen Wan (Dragon Brain Calming Spirit Pill). Formula in Pediatrics. It treats fright-phlegm and coma/delirium during varicella.
Yiqing Wan (Suppress Green Pill). It treats Liver Fire.

Dahuang (Rhubarb Root and Rhizome, *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*), equal parts.
Refine honey to make pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 pills each time.
Xiejing Wan (Drain Metal Pill). It treats Lung Fire.

(Zhu Danxi) Zhulian Wan (Evodia and Coptis Pill). It treats damp-heat with acid regurgitation.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), fried with wall soil, 2 liang. Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, *Scutellariae Radix*), processed similarly, 1 liang. Chenpi (Tangerina Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*). Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome, *Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma*), soaked in rice water. Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, *Evodiae Fructus*), boiled briefly, soaked for half a day, sun-dried, each 1 liang. Or add Jiegeng (Platycodon Root, *Platycodonis Radix*) and Fuling (Poria, *Poria*), each 1 liang.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with Shenqu paste, size of mung beans. Take 20 to 30 pills each time, after meals, swallowed with saliva.
Zuojin Wan (Left Metal Pill). It treats Liver Fire causing stabbing pain in hypochondrium, chills and fever, headache and eye pain, strangury and retention, diarrhea, and all Liver Fire syndromes.
Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, *Coptidis Rhizoma*), 6 liang, stir-fried. Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, *Evodiae Fructus*), 1 liang, soaked in boiling water for a moment, dried and processed.
Grind the above into powder, make pills with congee paste, size of walnut seeds. Take 30 to 50 pills washed down with Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma*) and Chenpi (Tangerina Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*) decoction.
Da Bu Wan (Great Tonify Pill). It treats Yin Fire.
Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), salt and wine fried until brown.
Make pills with rice congee. For Blood deficiency, take with Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction, *Siwu Decoctio*); for Qi deficiency, take with Sijunzi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction, *Sijunzi Decoctio*).
Da Zao Wan (Great Creation Pill). This formula treats Yin deficiency with Blood heat, making ears and eyes clear, hair and beard black, with the power of rivaling creation, hence named Da Zao. It also treats Heart wind with loss of will, deficiency-labor, and Water deficiency.
Ziheche (Human Placenta, *Hominis Placenta*), one from a healthy firstborn, washed with rice water, add a little wine, steam until very soft, pound into paste, collect with Shanyao (Dioscorea Rhizome, *Dioscoreae Rhizoma*) powder, dry and use; or wash clean and dry directly on new tile. Baiguiban (Old Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*), from a naturally dead turtle,酥-roasted, 2 liang. Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), salt and wine fried, 1.5 liang. Duzhong (Eucommia Bark, *Eucommiae Cortex*),酥-roasted, 1.5 liang. Niuxi (Achyranthes Root, *Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix*), wine-washed, 1.2 liang. Tianmendong (Asparagus Tuber, *Asparagi Tuber*). Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber, *Ophiopogonis Tuber*), each 1.2 liang. Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root, *Rehmanniae Radix Preparata*), 2.5 liang, use 0.6 qian of Sharen (Amomum Fruit, *Amomi Fructus*) powder, 2 liang of Fuling (Poria, *Poria*), wrap in thin silk, boil in good wine seven times, discard Fuling. In summer add Wuweizi (Schisandra Fruit, *Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus*), 0.7 liang.
Except for Shudi which is pounded separately, grind the rest into powder. Use wine-boiled rice paste mixed with Shudi paste to make pills, size of Sophora seeds; or honey pills are also acceptable. Take 80 to 90 pills each time, on an empty stomach or before bed, with salt water or ginger water as desired; in winter take with wine. For women, add Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*), 2 liang, remove Guiban (Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*); for men with seminal emission and leukorrhea, or women with leukorrhea, add Muli (Oyster Shell, *Concha Ostreae*), 1.5 liang.
(Zhu Danxi) Dabu Yin Wan (Great Tonify Yin Pill). Descends Yin Fire, tonifies Kidney Water.
Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), salt and wine fried. Zhimu (Anemarrhena Rhizome, *Anemarrhenae Rhizoma*), salt and wine fried, each 4 liang. Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root, *Rehmanniae Radix Preparata*), wine-washed, steamed, pounded. Guiban (Tortoise Carapace, *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*),酥-roasted until yellow, each 6 liang.
Grind the above into fine powder. Use pig spinal cord, steamed until cooked, mix with refined honey and pound to make pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50 to 60 pills each time, on an empty stomach, washed down with ginger, salt, and wine.
*Mizhuan* Dabu Tian Wan (Great Tonify Heaven Pill). It treats deficiency and labor injury in men and women, emaciation, lower back and back pain, seminal emission, and leukorrhea.
