一种嗅法：治疗呃逆服药无效者，用硫黄、乳香各等分，用酒煎煮，让患者用鼻子闻其气味，即可见效。另一方法只用雄黄一味药，用酒煎煮后让患者闻气味。
两乳穴，治疗呃逆可立即停止。取穴方法：女性以乳房下垂处最低点为穴位；男性乳房不下垂的，以乳头下一指宽为标准，与乳头垂直相对的骨间凹陷处即为穴位。男性取左侧，女性取右侧，灸一处，艾炷大小如小麦粒，点燃艾灸后呃逆即止，共灸三壮，若灸后仍不止者，则不可治愈。

One prescription treats persistent hiccups that have not healed for a long time, emitting forty to fifty consecutive sounds. Use one he (approx. 20 ml) of juice extracted from fresh ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), add one spoonful of honey, and take it warm.
A sniffing method: For hiccups unresponsive to oral medication, use equal parts of Realgar (Realgar) and Frankincense (Olibanum). Decoct them in wine and let the patient inhale the fumes through the nose; this is effective. Another method uses only Realgar (Realgar), decocted in wine for inhalation.
The Shuangru acupoints (Two Breast Points) stop hiccups immediately upon needling or moxibustion. Method for locating the points: In women, the point is located at the lowest point where the breast hangs down. In men, whose breasts do not hang, the standard is one finger-width below the nipple. The point is in the depression between the bones directly vertical to the nipple. For men, treat the left side; for women, the right side. Moxa cones the size of a wheat grain are used.
