用锅中的汤水三到四斗,淋洗(患处或物品)后再淋洗,总共进行三次,直到浓度极高,澄清后只保留二斗,用来浸泡赤小豆二斗,过夜,然后晒干。

Take three or four dou of the liquid from the pot, pour it over (the affected area or object) repeatedly, for a total of three times, until it is extremely concentrated. Clarify and retain only two dou, then soak two dou of Adzuki Beans (Vigna angularis) in it overnight, and dry them in the sun.
Soak again, continuing until the ash lye is exhausted, then steam the beans until cooked.
Prepare a soup with mutton or venison, and consume this bean rice dish. Initially, consume one to two sheng per meal, eating until full.
For mild cases, recovery occurs after consuming three or four dou; for severe cases, recovery occurs after consuming seven or eight dou.
When the pathogen is expelled, the body will feel painful, itchy, and generally uncomfortable.
If the root cause is not completely eliminated, repeat the process. This is a highly effective prescription (from *Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang*).
Abdominal masses (*Zhijia*): See the section on Soft-shelled Turtle (*Bie*) under the Class of Testudines.
Edema of the body and face, inability to sit or lie down: Take branches of mulberry trees growing eastward that bear flowers, burn them to ash, extract the lye by pouring water over the ash, and cook adzuki beans in it. Eat this until full whenever hungry, but do not drink any soups or liquids.
Moles and blemishes on the face: Around the Cold Food Festival, take mulberry branches, burn them to ash, extract the lye, add calcined alum (*Duanshi*), and boil into a paste. Mix with one's own saliva and apply to the spots; they will naturally fall off (from *Jie Xiao Fang*).
Vitiligo (*Baidian Bofeng*): Use two dou of mulberry wood ash, steam it in a steamer basket, and wash with the hot liquid collected from the bottom of the pot. After no more than five or six applications, the condition will heal (from *Sheng Hui Fang*).
Severe leprosy-like diseases (*Dafeng*), with loss of eyebrows and hair: Extract juice by pouring hot water over mulberry wood ash, and wash the head and face with it (using soybean water ground into a slurry helps neutralize the astringency of the ash, which is better).
Subsequently, wash with warm water mixed with mung bean flour. For three days...
Swelling and pain caused by fox urine contamination, feeling as if dying: Soak the affected area in hot mulberry ash lye, replacing it immediately when it cools (from *Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang*).
