Egg

Supplementary Formula Sparrow Egg Pill: One jin of Semen Cuscutae (Cuscutae Semen) powder. In the second and third months of spring, take five hundred sparrow eggs, discard the yolks and use only the whites. Mix and form pills the size of Sophora seeds (Wu Zi). Whenever sparrow eggs are available, make pills without limiting the quantity.
Bai Ding Xiang (i.e., male sparrow feces)
Taste: Bitter; Nature: Warm; Slightly toxic. Formulary texts treat edema, leprosy, epilepsy, and dysentery. For pterygium (fleshy growth on the eye) with red vessels penetrating the pupil, apply milk to the eyes for immediate dissipation; this is miraculous. (Do not use if not caused by external wind-heat pathogens.) Swallow mixed with honey as pills to treat chronic stubborn conditions such as masses and accumulations.
