上细末，飞白面糊丸，麻子大，每服二十粒，五更粥饮下，或菖蒲、石榴根煎汤下。（《直指》）又虾蟆
丸，杀虫，于本方去锡灰、干漆、使君子、轻粉、雷丸，加大虾蟆干、桃仁、苦楝根、石榴根皮、芜荑。
治虫痛方，其症面黄，唇紫或白，口吐清水并青黄赤白
绿沫，腹痛一块往来不可忍，神妙无比。
甘草末（五分） 巴豆（去油三分） 石膏（水飞过二钱）
上共为末，每服大人三分，小儿或一分，或分半，虫随泄下，多不可当。如虫不下，自死腹中不动矣。然
后用调脾药数帖。（《绿竹堂集验方》）
三十六种，治蛔虫咬心痛，干漆丸方。
干漆 青黛 轻粉 甘遂（各等分）
上为末，面糊为丸，绿豆大，每服五丸，薄荷汤调下。（《幼幼》）
《广济》疗白虫如马蔺叶大，于下部出不尽，以刀截断者，令人渐渐羸瘦，石榴汤方。
醋石榴根（东引者一大握） 芜荑（三两） 牵牛子（半两熬末）
上三味，以水六升，煮取二升，去滓分三服，别和牵牛子末，每服如人行五里，更服尽快利，虫亦尽死出，
忌生冷、猪鱼牛肉、白酒、葵、笋等，此方神验。（《外台》）
治小儿腹藏有蛔虫，苦楝根散方。
苦楝根 鹤虱 薏苡根（锉） 槟榔 牵牛子（微炒各一两） 糯米（一分微炒）
上件药捣，细罗为散，三岁儿每服以粥饮调下半钱，日三服。看儿大小，临时加减。（《圣惠》）《圣济》
治疳蛔、寸白、蛔虫等发作，心腹 痛，鹤虱散，于本方去薏苡根，加大麦 、陈橘皮，每服二钱匕，空腹煎

上件药捣，粗罗为散，即以水一大盏，煎至七分去滓，三岁儿温服半合，日三服。量儿大小，以意加减。

集效丸，治因脏腑虚弱，或多食甘肥，致蛔虫动作，心腹搅痛，发作肿聚，往来上下，痛有休止，腹中烦

上为末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大，每服三十丸，食前橘皮汤下，妇人酢汤下，（《和剂》）《统旨》于本方加乌梅。
使君子丸，治腹内诸虫作痛，口吐清水。
使君子肉（薄切屋瓦焙干） 槟榔 酸石榴根皮（东向者佳净洗锉焙） 大黄（半生半炮各七钱半）
上除槟榔锉晒不过火，余三味再焙，同槟榔为末，沙糖水煮面糊丸，麻仁大，每服三十丸至五十丸，淡猪肉
汁空心下，或鸡肉汁亦好。（《活幼心书》）
万应丸。
槟榔（五两） 大黄（八两） 黑牵牛（四两以上三味为末） 皂角（十梃肥不蛀者） 苦楝根皮（一斤）
上先以皂角、苦楝根，用水二大碗熬成膏，一处搜和药末为丸，如梧子大，后用雷丸、沉香、木香各一两
研细末为衣，先用沉香衣，后用雷丸、木香衣，每服三丸，四更时分，用砂糖水送下，（《袖珍》）（今从《丹溪
纂要》录）《回春》追虫丸，于本方去苦楝根，加芜荑、锡灰、使君子。（此比之后妙应丸，有皂角为异耳）
妙应丸。
槟榔（十二两） 黑牵牛（三两） 大黄 雷丸 锡灰 芜荑 木香 使君子（各一两）
为末，用葱白煎汤露一宿，为丸粟米大，每四钱，五更
葱汤或木香煎汤下。此药不比巴霜、甘遂、 砂等剂，不动真气。凡人面上白斑唇红，能食心嘈，颜色不常，脸
上生有蟹爪纹者，便有虫也。一方去使君子，名七转灵应丹。（《入门》）（按∶此方出治积中，今特摘其系治
虫者。又《万应方》神仙七转丹，用白豆蔻、木香、槟榔、大黄、使君子、锡灰，盖是原方。又《纲目》引竹，
木香三棱散，无芜荑、使君子，有大腹子、三棱、蓬术细末。《大还》取虫丸，于本方去牵牛子，加胡黄连、鹤
虱、三棱、莪术、青皮。《幼科百效》追虫取积散，于本方加蓬术、干漆为末，每用一钱，好酒调下，或面糊麻
子大，天明猪肉汤送下。）
治虫盅并虫积。
黑丑 五灵脂（好酒熬） 槟榔（各五钱） 大黄（一两） 阿魏（二钱） 桃仁（去皮尖，研如泥，不拘
分两，但可丸为率。）
上为末，以桃仁膏为丸，梧子大，每服二钱，白汤送下。（《赤水》）
安虫诸方（按∶安蛔，有如理中、清中等诸方，既括于《伤寒广要》中，兹不赘。）向大王宫中，有
一宫人，七太尉所宠也。忽患一疾，凡恶心则吐虫数条，后乃频作。七太尉甚悯之，累治不瘥，每用杀虫药，则
吐虫愈多，召孙诊之。孙曰∶六脉皆细，非虫脉也。今虽吐虫，乃藏寒而虫不安，失居上膈，因而吐出。复用杀
虫药，虫为药所苦，不能自安，所以吐虫愈多也。孙遂用药不三、五服，皆一色丸子，虫遂不吐。明日再召孙
至，六脉渐大，进前药，其病不作。后求方，乃硫黄、附子各一两并末，粳米糊为丸，每三十丸，米饮下。（《纲
目》引孙）
温藏丸，治诸虫积，既逐而复生者，多出藏气虚寒，宜温脾健胃，以杜其源，此方主之。
人参（随宜用无亦可） 白术（米泔浸炒） 当归（各四两） 芍药（酒炒焦） 茯苓 川椒（去合口者
炒出汗） 细榧肉 使君子（煨取肉） 槟榔（各二两） 干姜（炮） 吴茱萸（汤泡一宿炒各一两）
上为末，神曲糊为丸，桐子大，每服五、七十丸或百丸，饥时白汤下。如藏寒者，加制附子一、二两。藏热者，
加黄连一、二两。（《景岳》）
椒梅汤，治虫痛。
乌梅 花椒 槟榔 枳实 木香（另研） 香附 砂仁 川楝子（去核） 肉桂 浓朴 干姜 甘草（各等分）
上剂，姜一片，水煎服。（《回春》）
安虫饮，治蛔虫动，口吐清涎。
黄连 乌梅 炮姜 山楂 浓朴 芍药 使君子肉 枳实 陈皮 川楝子 水煎服。（《幼科百效》）
安胃汤。（新制）
川椒（五分炒去汗） 安吉乌梅（一钱去核） 川黄连（一钱） 人参（三钱） 枳实（二钱五分） 生淡

上为末，每服三钱，水一钟，煎八分温服。（《古方选注》）（按∶此方原为治肝病而设，然盖是乌梅丸变
方，故可移治蛔动，仍列于兹。又《一万社草》载蛔痛剧证，将白汤一碗，调入砂 、蜂蜜各半酒杯咽下，从其
性而抚之，后以荡逐丸治之。其说颇长，且不知有甘草粉蜜汤，仍不具录。）
椒梅丸，治胸腹扛痛，脉气浮弦，环青唇红，此蛔痛之候。
川椒（一钱） 黄连（二钱） 吴萸（一钱） 乌梅肉（三钱用水作膏）
上末，和乌梅膏为丸，如桐子大，每服一钱，姜汤下。（《医级》）
食生米，男子女人因食生熟物，留滞肠胃，遂至生虫，久则好食生米，否则终日不乐，至憔悴萎黄，不思
饮食，以害其生。用苍术，米泔水浸一夜，锉焙为末，蒸饼丸，梧子大，每服五十丸，食前米饮下日三服。益昌
伶人刘清啸，一娼名曰花翠，年逾笄病此。惠民局监赵升，以此治之，两旬而愈。盖生米留滞肠胃，受湿则谷
不磨而成此疾，苍术能去湿暖胃消谷也。（《本草纲目》引《杨氏家藏经验方》）（按∶《千金》、《外台》既
有疗米症方，然不就虫立方，仍不录。）
治好吃生米。
藿香 苍术（泔水浸炒） 神曲（各一两） 浓朴（姜炒） 雷丸（各二两） 白术（土炒） 石膏（ ）
粟米（各一两二钱）
上为末，以沙糖水调，每服二钱，空心下。（《玉案》）（按∶原更有好吃壁泥、好吃干茶叶并茶癖方，今不
录。又此证治方，宜参《积聚》门大七气汤等诸条。又按《入门》、《寿世保元》黄胆门并有好吃茶米诸方，实
系《玉案》所本，宜互考。）
调摄法 善摄生者，薄滋味，节嗜欲，早去三尸，防患于未然，彼九虫亦将销铄于冥冥之中。（《圣
济》）
将药物研成细末，用飞过的白面糊制成丸剂，大小如麻子。每次服用二十粒，在凌晨五更天时，用米粥汤送服；或者用石菖蒲、石榴根煎汤送服。（出自《直指方》）
又有虾蟆丸，用于杀虫。在本方基础上去掉锡灰、干漆、使君子、轻粉、雷丸，加入干燥的蛤蟆（虾蟆）、桃仁、苦楝根、石榴根皮、芜荑。
治疗虫痛的方子，其症状表现为面色发黄，嘴唇发紫或发白，口中吐出清水以及青、黄、赤、白、绿色的泡沫，腹部疼痛且有一块硬物往来移动，痛得难以忍受，效果神妙无比。
甘草末（五分），巴豆（去油三分），石膏（水飞过二钱）。
以上药物共同研成细末，每次服用：成人三分，小儿一分或半分。虫子会随大便排出，量多不可阻挡。如果虫子不排出，就会死在腹中不动。此后，再用调理脾胃的药物服用几帖。（出自《绿竹堂集验方》）
三十六种情况，治疗蛔虫咬心痛，使用干漆丸方。
干漆、青黛、轻粉、甘遂（各等分）。
以上药物研成细末，用面糊制成丸剂，大小如绿豆。每次服用五丸，用薄荷汤调服。（出自《幼幼新书》）
《广济方》治疗白虫像马蔺叶那样大，从下部出不尽，用刀截断者，使人逐渐消瘦，使用石榴汤方。
醋浸的石榴根（向东生长的枝条一大把）、芜荑（三两）、牵牛子（半两，炒后研末）。
以上三味药，用水六升，煮取二升，去掉药渣，分三次服用。另外将牵牛子末混合其中，每次服药间隔相当于人行走五里的时间，再服用一次以尽快通便，虫子也会全部死掉排出。忌食生冷、猪、鱼、牛肉、白酒、葵菜、笋等，此方神效。（出自《外台秘要》）
治疗小儿腹中有蛔虫，使用苦楝根散方。
苦楝根、鹤虱、薏苡根（锉碎）、槟榔、牵牛子（微炒，各一两）、糯米（一分，微炒）。
以上药物捣碎，过细筛成为散剂。三岁儿童每次用米粥汤调服半钱，每日三次。根据孩子的大小，临时加减剂量。（出自《太平圣惠方》）
《圣济总录》治疗疳积蛔虫、寸白虫、蛔虫等发作，心腹疼痛，使用鹤虱散。在本方基础上去掉薏苡根，加入大麦、陈橘皮。每次服用二钱匕，空腹时煎粟米汤调服，并时时煎姜蜜汤热服。
治疗小儿多吐蛔虫，使用鹤虱散方。
鹤虱（一分）、川大黄（一分，锉碎微炒）、川朴消（半两）。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛成为散剂。用水一大盏，煎至七分，去掉药渣。三岁儿童温服半合，每日三次。根据孩子的大小，酌情加减。（出自《太平圣惠方》）

木香（不见火）、鹤虱（炒）、附子（炮制去皮脐）、诃黎勒（煨取皮肉）、芜荑（炒研）、槟榔、干姜（炮制，各七两半）、大黄（锉劈炒制，十五两）。
以上药物研成细末，用炼蜜制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三十丸，饭前用橘皮汤送服，妇人用醋汤送服。（出自《和剂局方》）《统旨》在本方中加入乌梅。
使君子丸，治疗腹内各种寄生虫作痛，口吐清水。
使君子肉（薄切，在屋瓦上焙干）、槟榔、酸石榴根皮（向东生长者佳，洗净锉碎焙干）、大黄（一半生用，一半炮制，各七钱半）。
以上除槟榔锉碎晒干不过火外，其余三味药再焙干，与槟榔一起研成细末，用沙糖水煮面糊制成丸剂，大小如麻仁。每次服用三十丸至五十丸，空腹时用淡猪肉汁送服，或用鸡肉汁送服也好。（出自《活幼心书》）
万应丸。
槟榔（五两）、大黄（八两）、黑牵牛（四两，以上三味研成细末）、皂角（十梃，肥大无蛀者）、苦楝根皮（一斤）。
以上先用皂角、苦楝根，用水两大碗熬成膏，一处混合药末制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。后用雷丸、沉香、木香各一两研成细末作为包衣，先用沉香衣包裹，后用雷丸、木香衣包裹。每次服用三丸，在四更时分，用砂糖水送下。（出自《袖珍方》，今从《丹溪纂要》收录）《回春》追虫丸，在本方基础上去掉苦楝根，加入芜荑、锡灰、使君子。（这比之后的妙应丸，区别在于含有皂角）
妙应丸。
槟榔（十二两）、黑牵牛（三两）、大黄、雷丸、锡灰、芜荑、木香、使君子（各一两）。
研成细末，用葱白煎汤露置一夜，制成丸剂大小如粟米。每次四钱，在五更天用葱汤或木香煎汤送服。此药不像巴豆霜、甘遂、硇砂等药剂那样损伤真气。凡是人脸上有白斑、嘴唇红、能进食但心中嘈杂、脸色不正常、脸上生有蟹爪纹的人，就是有虫。一方去掉使君子，名为七转灵应丹。（出自《医学入门》）（按：此方出自治积滞中，现特意摘录其中治疗虫症的部分。又《万应方》神仙七转丹，用白豆蔻、木香、槟榔、大黄、使君子、锡灰，大概是原方。又《本草纲目》引竹木香三棱散，无芜荑、使君子，有大腹子、三棱、蓬术细末。《大还》取虫丸，在本方基础上去掉牵牛子，加入胡黄连、鹤虱、三棱、莪术、青皮。《幼科百效》追虫取积散，在本方基础上加入蓬术、干漆为细末，每次用一钱，好酒调服，或面糊制成麻子大，天明时用猪肉汤送下。）
治疗虫蛊并虫积。
黑丑、五灵脂（用好酒熬制）、槟榔（各五钱）、大黄（一两）、阿魏（二钱）、桃仁（去皮尖，研如泥，不拘分两，只要足够做成丸剂即可）。
以上研成细末，用桃仁膏制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用二钱，白开水送服。（出自《赤水玄珠》）
安虫诸方（按：安蛔的方法，有如理中汤、清中汤等诸方，既然已概括在《伤寒广要》中，此处不再赘述。）向大王宫中，有一位宫人，被七太尉宠爱。忽然患了一种病，凡是有恶心感就吐出几条虫子，后来频繁发作。七太尉非常怜悯她，多次治疗未愈，每次使用杀虫药，吐出的虫子就更多。召请孙思邈诊治。孙思邈说：六脉皆细，不是虫脉。现在虽然吐虫，乃是脏寒而虫不安宁，失居上膈，因而吐出。如果再复用杀虫药，虫子被药物所苦，不能自安，所以吐虫越来越多。孙思邈于是用药，不到三五服，都是同一种颜色的丸子，虫子就不再吐出。第二天再召孙思邈来，六脉逐渐变大，进服前面的药，病就不发了。后来求取方子，原来是硫黄、附子各一两研成末，粳米糊制成丸剂，每次三十丸，米饮送下。（出自《本草纲目》引孙思邈）
温藏丸，治疗各种虫积，既驱逐后又复生的，多出于脏气虚寒，适宜温脾健胃，以杜绝其根源，此方主治。
人参（随宜使用，不用也可以）、白术（米泔水浸炒）、当归（各四两）、芍药（酒炒焦）、茯苓、川椒（去掉闭合口的，炒出汗）、细榧肉、使君子（煨取肉）、槟榔（各二两）、干姜（炮制）、吴茱萸（汤泡一夜炒，各一两）。
以上研成细末，用神曲糊制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五、七十丸或一百丸，饥饿时白开水送服。如果是脏寒者，加制附子一两或二两。脏热者，加黄连一两或二两。（出自《景岳全书》）
椒梅汤，治疗虫痛。
乌梅、花椒、槟榔、枳实、木香（另研）、香附、砂仁、川楝子（去核）、肉桂、浓朴、干姜、甘草（各等分）。
以上剂量，加生姜一片，水煎服。（出自《回春方》）

Powder the drugs finely, make pills with sifted white flour paste, size of hemp seeds. Take 20 pills each time, administered at the third watch (5-7 AM) with millet porridge water, or decocted with *Acorus tatarinowii* Rhizome (Changpu, 石菖蒲) and pomegranate root (Shiliugen, 石榴根). (*Zhi Zhi Fang*)
There is also a Toad Pill (Xiaha Wan), used to kill parasites. Based on this formula, remove Tin Ash (Xihui, 锡灰), dried lacquer resin (Ganqi, 干漆), *Quisqualis indica* seed (Shijunzi, 使君子), Calomelas (Qingfen, 轻粉), and *Wanxia* (Leiluan, 雷丸); add dried toad (Xiaha, 虾蟆), Peach Kernel (Taoren, 桃仁), *Melia azedarach* root (Kelian gen, 苦楝根), Pomegranate Root Bark (Shiliugenpi, 石榴根皮), and *Canarium album* fruit (Wuyi, 芜荑).
Formula for treating worm pain: Symptoms include yellow complexion, purple or white lips, spitting out clear water and green, yellow, red, white, or green foam; abdominal pain with a moving mass that is unbearable. The effect is miraculous.
Licorice Powder (Gancao mo, 甘草末) (5 fen), Croton Seed (Badou, 巴豆) (de-oiled, 3 fen), Gypsum (Shigao, 石膏) (water-washed, 2 qian).
Grind all together into powder. Adult dose: 3 fen; Child dose: 1 fen or 0.5 fen. Parasites will be expelled via diarrhea in large quantities. If not expelled, they die in the abdomen. Thereafter, administer several doses of spleen-regulating medicine. (*Lv Zhu Tang Ji Yan Fang*)
For thirty-six types of conditions, treating heart pain caused by Ascaris biting, use Dry Lacquer Pill (Ganqi Wan).
Dry Lacquer (Ganqi, 干漆), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai, 青黛), Calomelas (Qingfen, 轻粉), Kansui Root (Gansui, 甘遂) (equal parts).
Grind into powder, make pills with flour paste, size of mung beans. Take 5 pills each time, mixed with Mint Decoction (Bohe Tang, 薄荷汤). (*You You Xin Shu*)
*Guang Ji Fang* treats white worms as large as *Iris ensata* leaves, protruding from the lower orifice incompletely, cut off with a knife, causing gradual emaciation. Use Pomegranate Soup (Shiliu Tang).
Vinegar-soaked Pomegranate Root (Suliugen, 石榴根) (eastern-growing branch, one large handful), *Canarium album* fruit (Wuyi, 芜荑) (3 liang), Pharbitis Seed (Qianniuzi, 牵牛子) (half liang, fried and powdered).
Decoct the three ingredients in 6 sheng of water to obtain 2 sheng. Remove dregs and divide into three doses. Mix in the Pharbitis Seed powder separately. Administer every interval equivalent to walking five li, then take again to induce rapid purgation. Worms will die and be expelled completely. Avoid raw/cold foods, pork, fish, beef, white wine, Malva verticillata (Kui, 葵), bamboo shoots, etc. This formula is highly effective. (*Wai Tai Mi Yao*)
Treating children's intestinal Ascaris, use *Melia azedarach* Root Powder (Kelian Gen San).
*Melia azedarach* root (Kelian gen, 苦楝根), *Datura metel* seed (Heshi, 鹤虱), Coix Seed Root (Yiyi gen, 薏苡根) (chopped), Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔), Pharbitis Seed (Qianniuzi, 牵牛子) (lightly fried, 1 qian each), Glutinous Rice (Nuomi, 糯米) (0.1 qian, lightly fried).
Pound the ingredients, sieve finely to make powder. For a three-year-old child, mix half qian with porridge water, three times daily. Adjust dosage according to the child's size. (*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang*)
*Sheng Ji Zong Lu* treats Giardiasis/Ascaris/Threadworm attacks causing heart and abdominal pain, using *Datura metel* Seed Powder (Heshi San). Remove Coix Seed Root from the above formula, add Barley (Damai, 大麦) and Aged Tangerine Peel (Chenju pi, 陈橘皮). Take 2 qian bi each time, decocted with Millet Drink (Su Yin, 粟饮) on an empty stomach. Also, frequently administer hot Ginger-Honey Water (Jiang Mi Tang, 姜蜜汤).
Treating children vomiting many Ascaris, use *Datura metel* Seed Powder (Heshi San).
*Datura metel* seed (Heshi, 鹤虱) (0.1 qian), Sichuan Rhubarb (Chuan Dahuang, 川大黄) (0.1 qian, chopped and lightly fried), Sichuan Mirabilite (Chuan Pu Xiao, 川朴消) (0.5 liang).
Pound, sieve coarsely to make powder. Decoct in one large cup of water until reduced to 0.7 cups. Remove dregs. Warm dose for a three-year-old: half she, three times daily. Adjust according to the child's size. (*Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang*)
Ji Xiao Wan (Collective Efficacy Pill), treating Ascaris movement due to visceral weakness or excessive consumption of sweet/greasy foods. Symptoms: churning heart/abdominal pain, swelling/mass formation, moving up and down, intermittent pain, abdominal irritability, spitting saliva. This indicates Ascaris biting. Suitable for this formula. Even for chronic cases lasting years, it can cure.
Costus Root (Muxiang, 木香) (not exposed to fire), *Datura metel* seed (Heshi, 鹤虱) (fried), Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, 附子) (processed, skin/navel removed), Chebula Fruit (Helile, 诃黎勒) (roasted, skin/flesh taken), *Canarium album* fruit (Wuyi, 芜荑) (fried/pounded), Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, 干姜) (processed, 7.5 liang each), Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄) (chopped/fried, 15 liang).
Grind into powder, make pills with refined honey, size of Chinese walnut seeds. Take 30 pills before meals with Tangerine Peel Decoction (Jupi Tang, 橘皮汤); women use Vinegar Decoction (Cu Tang, 酢汤). (*He Ji Ju Fang*). *Tong Zhi* adds Smoked Plum (Wumei, 乌梅) to this formula.
Shijunzi Wan (Quisqualis Pill), treating abdominal pain caused by various internal parasites, spitting clear water.
*Quisqualis indica* seed meat (Shijunzi rou, 使君子肉) (thinly sliced, baked on roof tile), Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔), Sour Pomegranate Root Bark (Suan Shiliugenpi, 酸石榴根皮) (eastern-facing, cleaned/chopped/baked), Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄) (half raw, half processed, 7.5 qian each).
Process Areca Nut by chopping and drying without overheating. Roast the other three ingredients again. Grind all together into powder. Make pills with sugar water and flour paste, size of hemp seeds. Take 30-50 pills each time, fasting with light pork juice or chicken juice. (*Huo You Xin Shu*)
Wan Ying Wan (Ten Thousand Efficacy Pill).
Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔) (5 liang), Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄) (8 liang), Black Pharbitis Seed (Hei Qianniu, 黑牵牛) (4 liang, these three powdered), Soap Bean (Zaojiao, 皂角) (10 stalks, fat and non-borer), *Melia azedarach* Root Bark (Kelian Genpi, 苦楝根皮) (1 jin).
First, decoct Soap Bean and *Melia azedarach* root bark in two large bowls of water to form a paste. Mix with the powders to make pills, size of Chinese walnut seeds. Coat first with Powdered Agarwood (Chenxiang, 沉香), then with Powdered *Wanxia* (Leiluan, 雷丸) and Costus Root (Muxiang, 木香) (1 liang each). Take 3 pills at the fourth watch (1-3 AM) with sugar water. (*Zhou Zhen Fang*, recorded from *Dan Xi Zuan Yao*). *Hui Chun* Zhui Chong Wan removes *Melia azedarach* root bark, adding *Canarium album* fruit, Tin Ash, and *Quisqualis indica* seed. (Differs from Miaoying Wan by containing Soap Bean).
Miaoying Wan (Miraculous Efficacy Pill).
Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔) (12 liang), Black Pharbitis Seed (Hei Qianniu, 黑牵牛) (3 liang), Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄), *Wanxia* (Leiluan, 雷丸), Tin Ash (Xihui, 锡灰), *Canarium album* fruit (Wuyi, 芜荑), Costus Root (Muxiang, 木香), *Quisqualis indica* seed (Shijunzi, 使君子) (1 liang each).
Grind into powder. Soak scallion whites in decoction overnight. Make pills size of millet grains. Take 4 qian each time at the third watch with Scallion Decoction or Costus Root Decoction. This drug does not damage true qi unlike Croton Frost, Kansui, or Nao Sha. Signs of parasitic infection: white spots on face, red lips, good appetite but epigastric discomfort, abnormal complexion, crab-claw patterns on face. One variant removes *Quisqualis indica* seed, named Seven-Turn Lingying Dan. (*Yi Xue Ru Men*). Treating worm gu and worm accumulation.
Black Pharbitis Seed (Hei Chou, 黑丑), Trogopterus Dung (Wulingzhi, 五灵脂) (simmered in good wine), Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔) (5 qian each), Rhubarb (Dahuang, 大黄) (1 liang), Asafoetida (awei, 阿魏) (2 qian), Peach Kernel (Taoren, 桃仁) (skin/kernel removed, pounded to paste, amount sufficient for pill making).
Grind into powder, make pills with Peach Kernel Paste, size of Chinese walnut seeds. Take 2 qian each time with plain boiled water. (*Chi Shui Xuan Zhu*)
Formulas for Pacifying Worms (Note: Methods for pacifying Ascaris, such as Lizhong Tang and Qingzhong Tang, are covered in *Shanghan Guang Yao*, so omitted here.). In the palace of King Xiang, a concubine favored by Seventh Grand Marshal suddenly fell ill, vomiting several worms upon nausea, recurring frequently. The Marshal sought treatment without success; using insecticides increased worm expulsion. Sun Simiao was summoned. Sun said: "All six pulses are fine, not indicative of worms. Although vomiting worms, it is due to cold viscera causing worm unrest, displacing them to the upper diaphragm. Further insecticide use causes more distress to worms, leading to more vomiting." Sun prescribed uniform pills. Within 3-5 doses, vomiting stopped. Next day, pulses enlarged, previous medication prevented recurrence. Formula: Sulfur (Huangshi, 硫黄) and Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi, 附子) (1 liang each, powdered), glutinous rice paste pills. Take 30 pills with rice drink. (*Ben Cao Gang Mu* citing Sun Simiao)
Wen Zang Wan (Warm Viscera Pill), treating recurrent worm accumulation due to deficient-cold of viscera. It warms spleen and strengthens stomach to eliminate the source.
Ginseng Root (Renshen, 人参) (optional), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu, 白术) (soaked in rice wash/water, fried), Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui, 当归) (4 liang each), Peony Root (Shaoyao, 芍药) (wine-fried scorched), Poria (Fuling, 茯苓), Sichuan Pepper (Chuanjiao, 川椒) (remove closed ones, fry until sweat appears), Fine Teff Meat (Xi Fei rou, 细榧肉), *Quisqualis indica* seed (Shijunzi, 使君子) (roasted/meat taken), Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔) (2 liang each), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, 干姜) (processed), Evodia Fruit (Wuzhuyu, 吴茱萸) (soaked in water overnight, fried, 1 liang each).
Grind into powder, make pills with Fermented Wheat Qu (Shenqu, 神曲) paste, size of tung tree seeds. Take 50-100 pills when hungry with plain boiled water. For cold viscera, add Processed Aconite Root (Zhi Fuzi, 制附子) 1-2 liang. For hot viscera, add Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian, 黄连) 1-2 liang. (*Jing Yue Quan Shu*)
Jiao Mei Tang (Pepper-Meum Decoction), treating worm pain.
Smoked Plum (Wumei, 乌梅), Sichuan Pepper (Huajiao, 花椒), Areca Nut (Binglang, 槟榔), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi, 枳实), Costus Root (Muxiang, 木香) (separately powdered), Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfu, 香附), Amomum Fruit (Sharen, 砂仁), Sichuan Chinaberry (Chuanlianzi, 川楝子) (seed removed), Cinnamon Bark (Rougui, 肉桂), Magnolia Bark (Nongpo, 浓朴), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang, 干姜), Licorice Root (Gancao, 甘草) (equal parts).

An Wei Tang (Stomach-Anchoring Decoction). (New Formula)
Sichuan Pepper (Chuanjiao, 川椒) (5 fen, fried to remove sweat), Anji Smoked Plum (Anji Wumei, 安吉乌梅) (1 qian, seeded), Coptis Rhizome (Chuan Huanglian, 川黄连) (1 qian), Ginseng Root (Renshen, 人参) (3 qian), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi, 枳实) (2.5 qian), Raw Light Dried Ginger (Sheng Dan Ganjiang, 生淡干姜) (1.5 qian).
Grind into powder. Take 3 qian each time, decoct in one zhong of water to 0.8 zhong, take warm. (*Gu Fang Xuan Zhu*). (Note: Originally for liver disease, likely a variation of Wumei Wan, thus applicable to Ascaris movement.)
Jiao Mei Wan (Pepper-Meum Pill), treating chest/abdominal distending pain, floating/string-taut pulse, blue ring around mouth/red lips, signs of Ascaris pain.
Sichuan Pepper (Chuanjiao, 川椒) (1 qian), Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian, 黄连) (2 qian), Evodia Fruit (Wuyu, 吴萸) (1 qian), Smoked Plum Meat (Wumei Rou, 乌梅肉) (3 qian, made into paste with water).
Grind into powder, mix with Smoked Plum paste to make pills, size of tung tree seeds. Take 1 qian each time with Ginger Decoction. (*Yi Ji*)
Eating raw rice: Men and women eating raw/cooked food causing stagnation in intestines/stomach leads to worm generation. Over time, craving for raw rice develops; otherwise, constant dissatisfaction, emaciation, yellow complexion, anorexia, endangering life. Use Atractylodes Rhizome (Cangzhu, 苍术), soaked in rice wash water overnight, chopped, baked, powdered. Make pills with steamed bread, size of Chinese walnut seeds. Take 50 pills before meals with rice drink, three times daily. Liu Qingxiao, a performer from Yichang, had a courtesan named Hua Cui (past puberty) suffering from this. Zhao Sheng, supervisor of Huimin Bureau, treated with this formula, cured in 20 days. Raw rice stagnates, dampness prevents grain digestion, causing this disease. Cangzhu removes dampness, warms stomach, aids digestion. (*Ben Cao Gang Mu* citing Yang Shi Jia Zang Jing Yan Fang).
