上件为末。每用少许，左疼搐左鼻，右疼搐右鼻。
治头风疼痛至甚。
黄柏（半两，浓者） 自然铜（半两） 细辛（去叶土，一分） 胡椒（四十九粒）
上件生为细末。每遇头疼、头风发时，先含水一口，后用药一字搐鼻中，左疼左搐，右
疼右搐，搐罢吐去水，口咬箸头，沥涎出为度。

上件为细末，研匀。每用一字，如左边头痛则搐右鼻，右边头痛则搐左鼻。
治伤寒结胸，心躁如火及霍乱吐利，翻胃哕逆，脾胃伤冷，中满痞塞。

上件入瓷瓶子内，炭火 一宿，火冷取出，为细末，糯米粥丸，每一两作一十粒。每服
一粒，火 通赤，良久取出，研极细，入米饮一盏，煎至七分，温服，隔半时再一服取效，

治伤寒伤风，肢节烦疼，憎寒壮热；或发热恶寒，似瘴非瘴，烦躁迷闷，面色红赤
疼如破，服之微汗出立瘥。

将上述药物生研为极细的粉末。每当遇到头疼、头风发作时，先含一口水，然后将药粉约“一字”量搐入鼻中，左侧疼痛搐左鼻，右侧疼痛搐右鼻。搐药完毕后吐掉口中的水，用牙齿咬住筷子头，以排出涎液为度。
治疗偏侧头痛剧烈难以忍受的方剂。
细辛（一两，去净叶和泥土）、雄黄（半两，单独研磨）。
将上述药物研成细末并混合均匀。每次取“一字”量的药粉，如果左边头痛则搐入右鼻，右边头痛则搐入左鼻。
治疗伤寒结胸证，心中烦躁如火灼烧，以及霍乱引起的呕吐腹泻，翻胃呃逆，脾胃受寒，脘腹痞满堵塞不通的方剂。
金星石、银星石、代赭石、禹余粮、元精石、云母石、不灰木、滑石（以上各一两）、寒水石（一两半）。
将上述药物放入瓷瓶中，用炭火煅烧一整夜，待火冷却后取出，研成细末，用糯米粥制成丸药，每两药粉制成十丸。每次服用一丸，将药丸烧至通红，稍后取出，再研成极细粉末，加入一盏米汤，煎煮至七分量，温服。间隔半小时后再服一次以取效，不拘泥于其他限制。
治疗伤寒伤风，肢体关节烦痛，憎恶寒冷且高热；或者发热恶寒，症状类似瘴气但非瘴气，烦躁闷乱，面色红赤，疼痛如破裂感，服用此药后微微出汗即可立即痊愈的方剂。
天南星（四两，切碎，炒至变红，切勿炒焦）、石膏（四两）、干葛（取其淀粉，称三两半）、前胡（二两）、川芎（一两）[注：原文此处有缺漏，根据上下文及常见配伍补全]。

Treatment for hemicephalic wind (hemiplegic headache), where the pain is unbearable.
*Frankincense* (Lu Xiang, *Olibanum*, ground separately), *Corydalis Rhizome* (Yan Hu Suo, *Rhizoma Corydalis*), *Potassium Nitrate* (Pen Xiao, *Natrii Nitras*, ground separately; each of the above three ingredients: 1 qian). *Ligusticum Rhizome* (Chuan Xiong, *Rhizoma Ligustici Wallichii*: 2 qian). *Realgar* (Xiong Huang, *Realgar*: 3 qian, ground separately).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. For each use, take a small amount and insufflate it into the left nostril if the pain is on the left side, or into the right nostril if the pain is on the right side.
Treatment for severe cephalalgia caused by head wind.
*Phellodendron Bark* (Huang Bo, *Cortex Phellodendri Amurensis*: 0.5 liang, preferably thick pieces), *Natural Pyrite* (Zi Ran Tong, *Pyritum*: 0.5 liang), *Asarum Root* (Xi Xin, *Radix Asari*), cleaned of leaves and soil: 1 fen. *Pepper* (Hu Jiao, *Fructus Piperis Nigris*: 49 grains).
Grind the above ingredients raw into a fine powder. Whenever cephalalgia or head wind attacks, first hold a mouthful of water in the mouth, then insufflate an amount of medicine equivalent to "one character" (approx. 0.5-1g) into the nose. If the pain is on the left, insufflate the left nostril; if on the right, insufflate the right nostril. After insufflation, spit out the water, bite the end of a chopstick with your teeth, and continue until saliva is discharged.
Treatment for unbearable unilateral headache.
*Asarum Root* (Xi Xin, *Radix Asari*): 1 liang, cleaned of leaves and soil. *Realgar* (Xiong Huang, *Realgar*): 0.5 liang, ground separately.
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix evenly. For each use, take an amount equivalent to "one character". If the headache is on the left side, insufflate the right nostril; if on the right side, insufflate the left nostril.
Treatment for cold damage (Shang Han) with chest binding (Jie Xiong), mental restlessness as if burning with fire, cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, regurgitation and hiccups, spleen and stomach cold injury, and abdominal fullness with obstruction.
*Venus Stone* (Jin Xing Shi), *Silver Star Stone* (Yin Xing Shi), *Magnetite Hematite* (Dai Zhe Shi), *Yu Yu Liang* (Yu Yu Liang), *Yuan Jing Stone* (Yuan Jing Shi), *Mica* (Yun Mu Shi), *Ashless Wood* (Bu Hui Mu), *Talc* (Hua Shi) (each of the above: 1 liang). *Cold Water Stone* (Han Shui Shi, *Alumen Rubrum*: 1.5 liang).
Place the above ingredients in a porcelain bottle and calcine over charcoal fire for one night. Once the fire has cooled, remove the contents and grind into a fine powder. Form pills using rice gruel, making ten pills per liang of powder. Take one pill at a time. Heat the pill until red-hot, remove after a while, grind into an extremely fine powder, add one cup of rice drink, decoct until reduced to 70%, and take warm. Repeat the dose after half an hour to achieve efficacy. No restrictions apply.
Treatment for cold damage and wind strike, causing vexing pain in limbs and joints, aversion to cold with high fever; or fever with aversion to cold, symptoms resembling miasma but not being miasma, restlessness and confusion, red face, and pain as if bursting. Taking this will induce slight sweating and lead to immediate recovery.
*Arisaema Tuber* (Tian Nan Xing, *Rhizoma Arisaematis*): 4 liang, chopped, stir-fried until red, do not let it burn. *Gypsum Fibrosum* (Shi Gao, *Gypsum Fibrosum*): 4 liang. *Kudzu Root* (Gan Ge, *Radix Puerariae Lobatae*), extract the starch, weigh 3.5 liang. *Peucedani Radix* (Qian Hu, *Radix Peucedani*). *Ligusticum Rhizome* (Chuan Xiong, *Rhizoma Ligustici Wallichii*) [Note: Text incomplete in source, inferred from context]: 1 liang.
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Use fresh ginger juice to boil wheat paste and mix with the powder to form pills, making ten pills per liang of powder. Dry in the shade. Take one pill at a time, chew thoroughly, and [consume with] white part of green onion [or rinse with].
