The symptoms include swelling and pain in the chest and back, fullness and distension in the lower abdomen, vomiting upon seeing food, a sensation of jumping or palpitation in the heart, and pricking the axillary regions of both thighs until bleeding occurs, which leads to recovery.
The symptoms include swollen eyelids, cyanosis (bluish discoloration) of the whole body, pain in the hypochondriac regions attacking the heart and chest (the original text seems to have missing characters), and obstruction of urination and defecation. For males, prick the glans penis; for females, prick the center of the vulva (yinhu zhi xin), and bleeding leads to recovery.
The symptoms include distension in the hypochondriac regions and severe pain at the stomach opening. Immediately push and knead the patient's wrist up and down, observing for purple nodules; if present, it is this syndrome. Treatment involves using a large needle to heavily puncture one point on the wrist. When withdrawing the needle, if purple blood spurts out, the sha distension dissipates immediately. Avoid cold foods, white rice, and mung beans.
The symptoms include churning pain in the abdomen and restlessness with rolling movements. The treatment method is to push the qi and blood from the arms downwards towards the interior. Tie both wrists tightly with a strap, and prick one needle in the middle of the nail flesh of each finger, twisting to release evil blood, which leads to recovery.
(Another method: wipe the whole body with green cloth soaked in distilled liquor; fumigating and washing with artemisia annua water can also induce sweating. Another method: push the two tendons on the back, pinch them tightly for a moment.) The symptoms include fever without sweating, internal burning sensation, dry mouth, vomiting, elevated protuberances around the pores of the anterior and posterior chest (the sentence likely contains an error), and three or four patches of purple coloration, indicating this syndrome. Treatment involves pricking the anterior and posterior chest and affected areas, removing wool hairs completely, and covering the patient to induce sweating for recovery. If ineffective, boil a small amount of sugar, three slices of fresh ginger, and a pinch of Wuyi tea together and administer orally. Avoid raw/cold and fishy foods for about a month; there will be no failure in efficacy.
The symptoms include fever throughout the body, unbearable heat when undergarments are removed, a rolling sensation in the epigastric region, and pricking the umbilicus and both breasts leads to recovery.
(The treatment method for "Dog Zheng" is the same as above.)
The symptoms include headache, heavy head, inability to lower the head, nausea, blackening of the eyes with convulsions, fingernails turning cyan first followed by cyanosis of the entire body, vomiting and diarrhea, inability to speak, lower abdominal pain, even absence of pulse, and cool body temperature. If not treated urgently, death may occur instantly. If the jaw is clenched, quickly use chopsticks to pry open the mouth, ask the patient to roll up their tongue, and inspect the area under the root of the tongue. If there are cyan, red, or purple blisters, prick them with a needle until bleeding occurs, apply realgar powder to the site, drink boiling water mixed with realgar powder, or apply prepared herbal medicine; covering the head to induce sweating leads to recovery. Avoid wind exposure for three days.
