麻线缝好，煮极烂，取出药别研，以猪肚为膏，加炼蜜捣为丸，如梧子大，每服五十丸。
天门冬丸 治初得消中，食已如饥，手足烦热，背膊疼闷，小便白浊。

人参 茯神 麦冬 五味子 生地黄 炙甘草 知母 葛根 天花粉（各等
分）。每次服用五钱，加入十四片竹叶，加水煎煮后服用。
易老麦门冬饮子
人参 枸杞子 茯苓 甘草 五味子 麦冬（各等分）。用姜水煎煮后服用。
猪肚丸：治疗强中病及消渴病。
黄连（四两） 粟米（四两） 天花粉（四两） 茯神（四两） 知母（二两）
麦冬（二两） 地黄（四两） 葛根（二两）。研成细末，取一个大猪肚洗净，将药末放入其中，用麻线缝好，煮至极烂，取出药物再次研磨，以猪肚制成膏状，加入炼蜜捣成药丸，如梧桐子大小，每次服用五十丸。
天门冬丸：治疗初患消中病，进食后即感饥饿，手足烦热，背部和胸部疼痛闷胀，小便浑浊发白。

（二两） 甘草（二两）。用水一斗五升，先煮猪肾和大豆，取出一斗水，再加入其他药物，煮至五升，分次温服。

Jinkui Shenqi Wan (Golden Cabinet Kidney Qi Pill): Treats Xiao Ke (Wasting and Thirsting Syndrome) in men, characterized by increased urination where the volume of urine excreted equals the volume of water ingested.
Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (8 liang), Corni Fructus (4 liang), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (4 liang), Moutan Cortex (3 liang), Poria (3 liang), Alismatis Rhizoma (3 liang), Cinnamomi Ramulus (1 liang), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (1 liang), Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (3 liang), Plantaginis Semen (3 liang). Each dose uses 5 qian, decocted in water and taken orally.
Wenge San (Clam Shell Powder): Treats excessive thirst with an unquenchable desire to drink water.
Venerupis Concha is ground into powder. Mix one fangcun chi (a traditional measure for a spoonful) of the powder with 5 he of boiling water and take orally.
Zhuye Huangqi Tang (Bamboo Leaf and Astragalus Decoction): Treats Xiao Ke syndrome due to deficiency of Qi and Blood, combined with excess Stomach Fire causing thirst.

Decoct with clean water and take orally.
Dihuang Yinzi (Rehmannia Infusion): Treats Xiao Ke syndrome accompanied by dry throat, flushed face, and irritability.
Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, Rehmanniae Radix, Ginseng Radix, Astragali Membranacei Radix, Asparagi Rhizoma, Ophiopogonis Radix, Aurantii Fructus, Dendrobii Caulis, Alismatis Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Loquat Leaf (all in equal proportions). Take 5 qian per dose, administered well after meals.
Baizhu San (Atractylodes Macrocephala Powder): Treats thirst caused by deficient heat.

Xuanming Huangqi Tang (Xuanming Astragalus Decoction): Treats Lung Xiao (Lung Wasting-Thirst) caused by Heart Heat transferring to the Lungs, characterized by drinking little but urinating much.
Astragali Membranacei Radix (3 liang), Schisandrae Fructus (2 liang), Ginseng Radix (2 liang), Ophiopogonis Radix (2 liang), Mori Cortex (2 liang), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (1.5 liang), Lycii Fructus (1.5 liang). Grind into powder, take 5 qian per dose, decocted in water and taken orally.
Xuanming Maidong Yinzi (Xuanming Ophiopogon Drink): Treats Ge Xiao (Diaphragm Wasting-Thirst) resulting from Heart Heat transferring to the Lungs, characterized by chest fullness, irritability, and diminished spirit/vitality.
Ginseng Radix, Polyporus (with hostwood), Ophiopogonis Radix, Schisandrae Fructus, Rehmanniae Radix, Honey-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, Puerariae Lobatae Radix, Trichosanthis Radix (all in equal proportions). Take 5 qian per dose, add 14 leaves of Bambusae Folium, decoct in water and take orally.
Yilao Maidong Yinzi (Yilao Ophiopogon Drink)
Ginseng Radix, Lycii Fructus, Poria, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Schisandrae Fructus, Ophiopogonis Radix (all in equal proportions). Decoct with ginger water and take orally.
Zhudu Wan (Pig Stomach Pill): Treats Qiangzhong (Priapism/Excessive Sexual Drive) and Xiao Ke syndrome.
Coptidis Rhizoma (4 liang), Setaria Italica (4 liang), Trichosanthis Radix (4 liang), Polyporus (4 liang), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (2 liang), Ophiopogonis Radix (2 liang), Rehmanniae Radix (4 liang), Puerariae Lobatae Radix (2 liang). Grind into fine powder. Clean one large pig stomach, insert the powder inside, sew tightly with hemp thread, and boil until extremely soft. Remove the medicine, grind it again, mix with the pig stomach to form a paste, add refined honey, and knead into pills the size of wu zi (cherry seeds). Take 50 pills per dose.
Tianmendong Wan (Asparagus Pill): Treats early-stage Zhong Xiao (Middle Wasting-Thirst), characterized by hunger immediately after eating, vexing heat in hands and feet, pain and stuffiness in the back and shoulders, and turbid white urine.
Asparagi Rhizoma (1.5 liang), Trichosanthes Kirilowii Root (1.5 liang), Trichosanthis Radix (1.5 liang), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (1.5 liang), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (1.5 liang), Cynomorii Herba (1.5 liang), Schisandrae Fructus (1 liang), Cervi Cornu Pantotrichum (one piece), Alismatis Rhizoma (1.5 liang), Gallus Gallus Domesticus Gizzard Lining (3 pieces), Ostreum Concha (2 liang), Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (1 liang), Mantidis Oötheca (10 pieces). Form pills with honey the size of wu zi. Take 50 pills per dose.
Zhushen Ji Tang (Pig Kidney and Shepherd's Purse Decoction): Treats Zhong Xiao (Middle Wasting-Thirst) with frequent urination.
Sus Ren (pig kidney) (2 pieces), Capsellae Bursa-Pastoris Fructus (3 liang), Sojae Semens Nigrum (2 jin), Gypsum Fibrosum (3 liang), Ginseng Radix (2 liang), Poria (2 liang), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (2 liang), Puerariae Lobatae Radix (2 liang), Scutellariae Radix (2 liang), Magnetitum (2 liang), Trichosanthis Radix (2 liang), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (2 liang). Use 1 dou 5 sheng of water. First boil the pig kidneys and soybeans, reduce to 1 dou. Then add the remaining herbs and boil down to 5 sheng. Divide into warm doses and take orally.
Shenli San (Kidney Drip Powder): Treats Shen Xiao (Kidney Wasting-Thirst) manifesting as thirst, frequent urination, and lower back pain.
Ginseng Radix (1 liang), Polygalae Radix (1 liang), Astragali Membranacei Radix (1 liang), Gallus Gallus Domesticus Gizzard Lining (5 qian), Mantidis Oötheca (1 liang), Alismatis Rhizoma (1 liang), Cinnamomi Ramulus Cortex (5 qian), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (1 liang), Poria (1 liang), Os Draconis (1 liang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (1 liang), Ophiopogonis Radix (1 liang), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (1 liang), Schisandrae Fructus (5 qian), Honey-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (5 qian), Scrophulariae Radix (5 qian), Magnetitum (5 qian). Grind into powder. First decoct a pair of sheep kidneys, then add 5 qian of the powder and 5 fen of ginger, decoct further and take orally.
