取鸡头去外皮，取实连壳杂捣，令碎，晒干为末。复取糖樱子，去外刺并其中子，洗净
捣碎，入甑中蒸令熟。却用所蒸汤淋三两过，取所淋糖樱汁入银铫，慢火熬成稀膏，用以和
鸡头末，丸如梧桐子大。每服盐汤下五十丸。久服固真元，悦泽颜色。括苍吴寅仲，久服有
奇功。（此药稍闭，当以车前子末解之。）
治诸般恶痢，腹中搅刺，日夕频并，危恶不瘥。

治风毒上攻眼目，涩痒疼不可忍者，或上下睑 赤烂，浮翳，瘀肉侵睛。（出王氏《博
济方》。）

上除麝处，同为细末，绝细，再入麝同研匀，以醇酒作糊为丸，桐子大。每服一丸，不
拘时候，或二丸，以人参汤、麝香汤嚼下，或温酒亦得。治小儿慢惊极妙。
【虚风丸】
取鸡头（即芡实），去掉外皮，将果实连同外壳一起捣碎，使其成为细末，晒干后备用。再取糖樱子（一种植物果实），去掉外面的刺以及内部的种子，洗净后捣碎，放入蒸笼中蒸熟。然后用刚才蒸过的汤汁淋洗三遍药渣，收集淋出的糖樱子汁液倒入银锅中，用慢火熬制成稀薄的膏状，用来调和鸡头粉，制成如梧桐子大小的药丸。每次服用五十丸，用盐汤送服。长期服用可以巩固真元，使面色红润光泽。括苍人吴寅仲，长期服用此药有奇效。（此药稍具收敛作用，若出现便秘，可用车前子粉末来缓解。）
治疗各种严重的痢疾，腹部绞痛刺痛，日夜频繁发作，病情危重且久治不愈。
安息香（一分，用酒浸泡，晒三天，去渣，研磨成膏） 诃子（一钱） 乳香（一分，加少量酒化开，晒三天，再用火焙干至熔炼状态，研磨成末） 没药（一分，研磨成末，用安息香膏调和均匀，加入适量生杏仁，烧至冒烟，在上面烘焙上述药膏，一天后，以干燥为度）
以上四味药，研磨成细末，滴水泛丸，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。每次服用五丸或七丸，用乳香汤送服，空腹、饭前服用，每日三次，剂量可逐渐增加至三五十丸。忌食毒物，疗效神奇。
治疗风毒上攻导致的眼目疾病，眼睛涩痒疼痛难以忍受，或者上下眼睑红肿溃烂，浮翳，瘀肉侵入黑睛。（出自王氏《博济方》。）

以上两味药，一同杵碎研成细末。每次服用二钱，加水两盏，在铜器或石器中煎煮至一盏，澄清药渣，趁热淋洗眼部。留下的药渣分两次使用，再次按照前面的方法煎煮并淋洗。此法能极大地明目，去除涩痒感。
治疗大人和小孩一切因风虚引起的昏眩、神志不清、心神不宁、手足抽搐跳动，睡眠不安稳。
麝香（一钱） 五灵脂（研成末，在银器内炒至无烟为止，称取一两） 白附子（选用真品大者，炮制烈性处理，半两） 天南星（大者，炮制，去皮和脐部，一两） 乌梢蛇（只取颈后的肉，去皮，用酒浸泡一夜，晾干，称取一两） 蟾酥（一个，选大者，用炭火烧，待烟即将燃尽时取出，不要烧成灰） 赤脚蜈蚣（三条，完整的，用酒浸泡一夜，焙干）
以上药物除麝香外，共同研磨成极细的粉末，然后再加入麝香一同研磨均匀，用纯酒调糊制成药丸，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一丸，不限时间，也可服用两丸，用人参汤或麝香汤嚼服，或者用温酒送服亦可。治疗小儿慢惊风极为巧妙有效。
[Xu Feng Wan]
Take *Jitou* (Euryale ferox seed), remove the outer skin, crush the fruit together with the shell until fragmented, dry it in the sun, and grind it into powder. Then take *Tangyingzi* (a type of plant fruit), remove the external thorns and internal seeds, wash clean, and crush. Place it in a steamer and steam until cooked. Use the water from steaming to rinse the dregs three times, collect the *Tangying* juice, and pour it into a silver pot. Slowly boil over low heat until it becomes a thin paste. Use this paste to mix with the *Jitou* powder and form pills the size of *Wutong* (Chinese parasol tree) seeds. Take 50 pills each time, administered with salted water. Long-term use consolidates the True Yuan (original Qi) and enhances complexion luster. Wu Yinzhang from Kuocang took this medicine for a long time and achieved remarkable results. (This medicine has a slightly constipating effect; if constipation occurs, it can be relieved with powder of *Cheqianzi* [Plantago seed].)
Treats various severe types of dysentery, characterized by abdominal twisting and stabbing pain, frequent episodes day and night, critical condition without improvement.
*Anxi* (Benzoin, 1 fen, soaked in wine, dried for three days, strained, ground into paste) *Hezi* (Terminalia chebula fruit, 1 qian) *Ruxiang* (Frankincense, 1 fen, dissolved with a little wine, dried for three days, then baked over fire until molten and dry, ground into powder) *Moyao* (Myrrh, 1 fen, ground into powder, mixed evenly with Benzoin paste, add raw *Xingren* [Apricot kernel] as needed, burn until smoke appears, bake the paste on top for one day until dry).
The above four ingredients are ground into fine powder, mixed with drops of water to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 5-7 pills each time, administered with Ruxiang decoction, on an empty stomach before meals, three times a day. The dose can be increased to 30-50 pills. Avoid toxic foods; the efficacy is miraculous.
Treats eye conditions caused by wind-toxin attacking upwards, featuring severe itching, pain, and discomfort, or redness and ulceration of the upper and lower eyelids, floating nebula, and pterygium invading the cornea. (From Wang Shi's *Boji Fang*.)
*Wubeizi* (Galla Chinensis, 1 liang, crushed, dust removed) *Manjingzi* (Vitex trifolia fruit, 1.5 liang, washed clean).
The above two ingredients are pounded and ground into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, add two zhan of water, and decoct in a copper or ceramic vessel until reduced to one zhan. Strain the dregs, and use the hot liquid to wash/rinse the eyes. Retain the dregs for two more applications, decocting and rinsing again according to the previous method. This greatly brightens the eyes and removes itching and dryness.
Treats adults and children suffering from all types of wind-deficiency causing dizziness, unclear mental state, restless mind, twitching and jumping of hands and feet, and unstable sleep.
*Moxiang* (Musk, 1 qian) *Wulingzhi* (Trogopterus dung, ground into powder, stir-fried in a silver vessel until no smoke is produced, weigh 1 liang) *Baifuzi* (Typhonium giganteum tuber, select authentic large ones, processed with high heat, half liang) *Tiannanxing* (Arisaema erubescens tuber, large ones, processed, peel skin and umbilicus, 1 liang) *Wushe* (Zaocys dhumnades snake, use only meat from behind the neck, remove skin, soak in wine overnight, dry, weigh 1 liang) *Chantou* (Toad venom/Bufonis Venenum, one large one, burn with charcoal until smoke almost ceases, do not let it turn to ash) *Chijiao Wugong* (Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans, three whole ones, soak in wine overnight, bake dry).
Except for Musk, all the above ingredients are ground into extremely fine powder together, then add Musk and grind uniformly. Use pure wine to make a paste and form pills the size of *Wutong* seeds. Take one pill each time, at any time, or two pills. Chew and swallow with Ginseng decoction or Musk decoction, or warm wine is also acceptable. It is extremely effective for treating slow convulsion in children.
