上捣罗为末，炼蜜，入枣肉为丸，如梧桐子大。每服三十丸，温酒盐汤下，日进三服，
皆食空时。（如早食并服之无妨。）至五日觉有力，十日精神爽健，半月气力稍盛，二十日目
明，一月夜思饮食，冬月手足常暖。久服无毒，令人身体轻健，筋骨壮盛，怡悦难老。更看
体候加减，如身热加山栀子一两，心气不宁加麦门冬一两，少精神加五味子一两，阳弱加续
断一两。常服齿牢，永无瘴疟。妇人服之，姿容光悦，去一切病，治子宫久冷。
铁瓮先生神仙秘法琼玉膏（陈晦叔服此药有验。）
新罗人参（二十四两，舂一千下，为末） 生地黄（一秤十六斤，九月采，捣） 雪白

上件，人参、茯苓为细末，蜜用生绢滤过，地黄取自然汁，捣时不得用铁器，取汁尽
滓用。药一处拌，和匀，入银石器或好瓷器内封用，如器物小，分两处物盛。用净纸二三十
重封闭，入汤内，以桑木柴火煮六日，如连夜火即三日夜。取出用蜡纸数重包瓶口，入井内
，去火毒一伏时。取出再入旧汤内，煮一日，出水气。取出开封，取三匙，作三盏，祭天地
百神，焚香设拜，至诚端心。每晨朝，以二匙温酒化服，不饮者，白汤化之。此膏填精补
，肠化为筋，万神具足，五脏盈溢，髓实血满，发白变黑，返老还童，行如奔马，日进数食
，或终日不食亦不饥，关通强记，日诵万言，神识高迈，夜无梦想。人年二十七岁以前，服
此一料，可寿三百六十岁；四十五岁以前服者，可寿二百四十岁；六十三岁以前服者，可寿
百廿岁；六十四岁以上服之，可寿至百岁。服之十剂，绝嗜欲，修阴功，成地仙矣。一料分
五处，可救五人痈疾；分十处，可救十人劳瘵。修合之时，沐浴志诚，勿轻示人。
【还少丹】
西川罗赤脚仙的还少丹，能大补心、肾、脾、胃，治疗一切虚损证候。对于神志与体力同时耗竭，筋骨力量突然衰退，腰部和双脚沉重，四肢身体倦怠无力，气血虚弱消瘦，小便浑浊不清等症状（出自陈晦叔敷文传）。
药材组成：干山药一两半；牛膝一两半（用酒浸泡一夜，焙干）；山茱萸一两半；白茯苓一两半（去皮）；五味子一两半；肉苁蓉一两半（用酒浸泡一夜，焙干）；石菖蒲一两半；巴戟天一两半（去心）；远志一两半（去心）；杜仲一两半（去掉粗皮，用生姜汁和酒混合，涂抹后炙烤）。
制法与用法：将上述药材捣碎并过筛成细末，加入炼蜜，混入枣肉制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三十丸，用温酒或淡盐汤送服，每日三次，均在空腹时服用。（如果早晨进食后一并服用也无妨。）服药五天后感觉有力气，十天后精神清爽健壮，半个月后气力稍盛，二十天后眼睛明亮，一个月后夜间思食，冬季手脚常暖。长期服用无毒，使人身体轻便强健，筋骨壮实茂盛，心情愉悦难以衰老。更需根据体质状况加减药物，如身体发热加山栀子一两，心气不宁加麦门冬一两，精神不足加五味子一两，阳气虚弱加续断一两。常服可使牙齿坚固，永远不生瘴疟。妇女服用，能使姿容光润喜悦，去除一切疾病，治疗子宫久冷。
药材组成：新罗人参二十四两（舂捣一千下，研为细末）；生地黄一秤十六斤（九月采集，捣烂）；雪白茯苓四十九两（木臼舂捣一千下，研为细末）；白沙蜜十斤。
制法与用法：将人参、茯苓研为细末，蜂蜜用生绢过滤，生地黄取自然汁液（捣制时不得使用铁器，要取尽汁液，渣滓不用）。将药物一处拌匀和匀，装入银石器或好的瓷器内密封使用。如果器物较小，分两处盛装。用干净纸张二三十层封闭瓶口，放入汤锅中，以桑木柴火煮六天，如果连夜用火则煮三天三夜。取出后用蜡纸多层包裹瓶口，放入井中，去除火毒一个时辰。取出后再放入旧汤水中煮一天，排出水汽。取出开封，取三匙药膏，分为三盏，祭祀天地百神，焚香设拜，至诚端正心意。每个清晨，用两匙药膏用温酒化开服用，不喝酒的人，用白开水化开服用。此膏填补精髓，使肠道化为筋络，万神具备，五脏充盈，骨髓充实血液满溢，白发变黑，返老还童，行动如奔马，每天吃几顿饭，或者整天不吃也不觉得饿，关节通畅记忆力强，每天诵读万言，神识高远超迈，夜晚没有梦境。人在二十七岁以前，服用这一料药，可以活到三百六十岁；四十五岁以前服用，可以活到二百四十岁；六十三岁以前服用，可以活到一百二十岁；六十四岁以上服用，可以活到百岁。服用十剂，断绝嗜好欲望，修积阴德，就能成为地仙。一料药分成五份，可以救治五个患痈疾的人；分成十份，可以救治十个患劳瘵的人。调制时，必须沐浴诚心，不要轻易示人。
[Huan Shao Dan]
Huan Shao Dan (Young-Returning Pill) from Luo Chijiao Xian of Western Sichuan greatly tonifies the Heart, Kidney, Spleen, and Stomach. It treats all deficiency impairments. For conditions where both spirit and vitality are exhausted, muscle and bone strength suddenly decline, heaviness in the waist and legs, fatigue and lassitude of the limbs and body, emaciation due to Qi and Blood deficiency, and turbid urination (as recorded in the biography of Chen Huishu Fushi).
Ingredients: Dried Dioscorea Rhizome (Shanyao) 1 liang 5 qian; Achyranthes Root (Niuxi) 1 liang 5 qen (soaked in wine overnight, dried by roasting); Cornus Fruit (Shanzhuyu) 1 liang 5 qian; Poria (Fuling) 1 liang 5 qian (peeled); Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi) 1 liang 5 qian; Cistanche Stem (Roucongrong) 1 liang 5 qian (soaked in wine overnight, dried by roasting); Acorus Rhizome (Shichangpu) 1 liang 5 qian; Morinda Root (Bajitian) 1 liang 5 qian (heart removed); Polygala Root (Yuanzhi) 1 liang 5 qian (heart removed); Eucommia Bark (Duzhong) 1 liang 5 qian (coarse bark removed, coated with a mixture of ginger juice and wine, then stir-fried).
Preparation and Administration: The above herbs are crushed, sifted into fine powder, mixed with refined honey and jujube pulp, and formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30 pills each time, administered with warm wine or light salt water, three times daily, always on an empty stomach. (It is also acceptable to take them after morning meals.) After five days, one will feel energetic; after ten days, spirit will be refreshed and robust; after half a month, Qi and strength will slightly increase; after twenty days, vision will become clear; after one month, appetite will return at night, and hands and feet will remain warm in winter. Long-term use is non-toxic, making the body light and vigorous, bones and sinews strong and abundant, and mood joyful, defying aging. Dosage adjustments should be made according to constitution: if there is body heat, add Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhizi) 1 liang; if Heart Qi is restless, add Ophiopogon Tuber (Maimendong) 1 liang; if spirit is lacking, add Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi) 1 liang; if Yang is weak, add Dipsacus Root (Xuduan) 1 liang. Regular use strengthens teeth and prevents malaria forever. Women who take it will have radiant complexion, dispel various diseases, and treat chronic uterine coldness.
[Qiong Yu Gao]
Immortal Secret Method Qiong Yu Gao (Nectar Jade Paste) from Master Tie Weng (Chen Huishu found this medicine effective).
Ingredients: Korean Ginseng (Ren Shen) 24 liang (pounded 1,000 times, ground into powder); Fresh Rehmannia Root (Sheng Dihuang) 1 sheng 16 jin (harvested in September, pounded); Snow-white Poria (Fuling) 49 liang (pounded in wooden mortar 1,000 times, ground into powder); White Sand Honey (Baisha Mi) 10 jin.
Preparation and Administration: The Ginseng and Poria are ground into fine powder. The honey is filtered through raw silk. The Fresh Rehmannia Root yields its natural juice (do not use iron vessels during pounding; extract all juice, discard dregs). Mix the medicines together thoroughly, place in a silver vessel, earthenware, or good porcelain, and seal for use. If the vessel is small, divide the contents into two parts. Seal with 20-30 layers of clean paper. Place in a pot of water and boil using mulberry wood fire for six days; if boiling overnight, boil for three days and nights. Remove, wrap the bottle mouth with several layers of wax paper, and submerge in a well to remove "fire toxicity" for one shichen (two hours). Remove and boil again in the old water for one day to evaporate moisture. Open the seal, take three spoonsful, divide into three cups, offer sacrifices to Heaven, Earth, and all deities, burn incense, bow, and maintain sincere and upright mind. Every morning, dissolve two spoonsful in warm wine and take orally. Those who do not drink alcohol may dissolve it in plain water. This paste fills essence, transforms intestines into sinews, completes the ten thousand spirits, overflows the five Zang organs, solidifies marrow, fills blood, turns white hair black, reverses aging, enables movement like a galloping horse, allows eating several times a day or fasting all day without hunger, opens joints, strengthens memory, enables reciting ten thousand words daily, elevates consciousness, and eliminates dreams at night. For those under 27 years old, taking one dose can extend life to 360 years; for those under 45, to 240 years; for those under 63, to 120 years; for those over 64, to 100 years. Taking ten doses, while abstaining from desires and cultivating hidden merits, leads to becoming a Di Xian (Earth Immortal). One dose divided into five parts can save five people suffering from carbuncles; divided into ten parts, it can save ten people suffering from consumption (Lao Zhai). During preparation, one must bathe and maintain sincerity, and not show it lightly to others.
