一中满臌胀、水肿等症。本药二钱，加沉香、木香各一钱五分，土狗三枚，炙，去头足，糊丸，绿豆大。每日空心用白商陆砂仁汤下三丸，以平为止，次用调理之剂。
一九种心痛，腹中冷气，久不效者。本药三钱加干姜、良姜、大椒各一钱，或末或丸，川椒汤下，或砂仁汤下三分。日三次。
一风寒湿气流滞经络，筋骨疼痛。本药三钱加乳香，没药去油各三钱，鸦片、朱砂砂各五分，如无真鸦片，麝香少许代之，好酒糊丸，桐子大。每服一九，用酒下，日三次。病久者先服黄金散取汗。
一妇人月经不行，瘀血作痛，或瘕瘕痞块。本药量加班毛、红娘子，用米同炒，去头足，每服八厘，空心红花酒下，日三次，以行为度。虚弱者，去班、红，单取米用。
一治外科诸般肿毒。本药血竭各三钱，蝉酥五分，麝香三分，糊丸，桐子大。每服一丸，酒下，按上下部服之，日三次。
一治痰核、马疔，结核等症，本药三钱，胆星、半夏、贝母各一钱五分，麝香三分，溃破加乳香、没药去油各一钱，糊丸，桐子大。每服一丸，日三次。
一杨梅结毒，不拘远近。本药朱砂各三钱，雄黄、银朱各一钱，黄蜡为丸，桐子大。每服一丸，土茯苓汤下。
一下疳蛀杆，不拘远近。本药朱砂、雄黄各一钱，乳香、没药去油，血竭、龙骨各一钱，为末，掺之。
一裙边湿毒泡疮久不收口者，本药乳香、没药去油各一钱，冰片三分，黄白二蜡化入麻油少许，熬膏贴之。
一喉风十八症。奉药五厘，好醋调匀，滴入喉中，吐去痰涎即效。破烂者，苦茶调敷，牙疽口疳皆治。
一诸风癣、顽癣、牛皮血癣。本药量加白砒、土硫黄为末，或醋，或油调敷。
第四方即前第一方，药味同，惟打火盏内用水取升药照前第三方加助药之法，打火三次。每用药研极细，糕糊丸，麻仁大。每空心用人参汤或枣汤下一二十丸。一疮遇内症，痰涎壅塞，上盛下虚，有升无降，吐逆咳嗽，痰火喘急，膈食翻胃呕吐等症，陈皮汤下。一翻胃膈食，吐逆饱嘈，丁香木香汤下，一虚损欲成劳怯，生姜乌梅汤下。一偏正头风痛，久不愈，川芎葱汤下。一心腹肿胀，腿膝酸痛，蓬术汤下。一阴虚盗汗，小便过多，元阳不足，牡蛎汤下。一男女气血不和，小腹急痛，桃仁汤下。一湿气，脚气酸痛，木瓜汤下。一遗精，淋浊，白茯苓牡蛎汤下。一阴症厥冷吐逆不下，生姜汤下。一失心痴呆，神不守舍，辰砂汤下。一五痫昏厥不醒，生姜汤下。一五劳七伤，虚损已成，独参汤下。
第五方即前第二方药味同，惟打火三转后，可用引药，专治外症。取本药雄黄、朱砂各一两，乳香、没药去油各二钱，当归、白芷、槐花各二两。如痛加丁香二钱等分，为末，老米糊丸，桐子大，听用。一凡杨梅疮漏发背瘰疬等恶疮，每服以牙皂一根，土茯苓四两，煎汤，初十日进五丸，中十日进六丸，后十日进七丸，服后如寒热，乃毒气出也，不必惊疑。
第六方水银枯矾火硝各一两二钱硼砂硇砂各一钱二分右药先共炒为细末，入罐封固打，火三炷香，加炉甘石一两二钱，共研入罐，再打火一炷香，半取出，童便拌药，共炒摊地上，如此炒摊七次，复为末，入罐封固。打火一炷香半，取出埋地内，一日夜，再为末，加乳香、没药去油．各一钱二分。又将童便拌晒，加朱砂六分，过筛，研细，磁缸收固。每服土茯苓、牙皂煎汤下。一此散用法俱照前六贤散，主治医例，其效更神。
第七方白雪丹盐矾硝皂矾各二两五钱右共研入锅，炒九分，干加汞二两，朱砂五钱，共研，无星带青色入包洒瓶内按紧，上用布，如瓶口大，盖住。再用黄泥靠瓶遍周围按紧，中留一孔，依瓶口大，俟泥干，再用夏布一块，扎瓶口。用阳城罐一个，将药罐对口扎定，封固如法。再用大磁盆一个，盛水在内，将前药瓶倒立，空罐底立水盆内，其盆上用砖，如法隔之。先将罐内药圈记何处止，其火亦止，到药边为度，或过药一指，亦可药出上罐入下罐，即过分火候，其功效同，猛火亦可。先文后武，共三炷香，火足，冷定，取起。下罐内有水，不可横浸入水，湿了上罐口药。开罐取出，其药松白色为妙，然不松白亦可用。一此丹，治一切肿毒。出脓用之，拔毒去其脓血；未出脓者用之，点起泡自破，出水，再用药纸贴之，自干而愈。治未破者，用蒸醋少许，调点。如脓溃烂者，可用六贤散掺之。若误上白雪丹，痛不可忍，亦敷六贤散药纸贴之。
第八方药纸杭州高白油纸一百张生甘草八两先以净水十五碗，入甘草煎至六七碗，去渣，再煎至三四碗，浓。将纸分作四块，入锅，块块见汁，煮干为度。取起晒干，收好听用。一凡点白雪丹泡破出水后，用此纸照泡大小针刺白孔，津湿贴之，刺眼，以便出水候自愈脱。白雪丹犯膏药，其口更开、更烂，贴此药纸最妙。
第九方白粉霜硼砂八钱火硝明矾各三两甘草一两右先将前三味共研，再用甘草煎浓汁，煮干，次用水银、轻粉各一两五钱，共研，无星。入罐封固，打火三炷香，擦盏，冷定，取升药。每一两加血竭三钱，乳匀，收固，听用。一此霜兼治内外证，大人止服一分三厘，小儿止可服七厘，须分上下部引药送下。以上九方一气呵成，加减火候，可悉照其例，固有缺一不可者。
三花聚顶丹明矾一两六钱白硝一两四钱水银一两右三味，如法封固，文武火五炷香，擦盏冷定，开罐取药。配用极能去腐生肌退管。
生肌散前灵药四钱没药乳香儿茶俱去油，备二钱珍珠一钱或加冰片人参更妙右共为细末，掺疮上，去腐生新，其应如D向。
真元会合丹皂矾白矾水银火硝食盐各二两右共研匀，结胎封固，文武火五炷香，降足，冷定，开罐取底下降药，制过，配用仙灵白雪饼。前制降药一两熟滑石水飞二钱。右二味，用山茨菇末，滚水打糊，和成小饼，量疮大小，掐用此二方，立能去毒根，不致走散。天月间来丹焰硝六钱白矾四钱水银食盐各二两黑矾二两六钱右共为细末，研至水银不见星为度，结胎封固。文武火三炷香，降足。取底下降药，制过配用。一如遇杨结毒，可将此药用面糊丸，如麦米大，初服二丸，次三丸，又次四丸，每早晚热黄酒下，视牙龈肿烂即止。其疮痂自落神效。
回生丹真蟾酥血竭各二钱乳香没药俱去油胡黄连各一钱天月间来丹六分轻粉六分麝香朱砂冰片各四分右共为细末，生蟾酥为丸，如黍米大，每服一丸，葱白煎汤送下，发汗避风。如疮走遍身发肿。昏迷不省，仍用三丸研为末，葱白煎汤灌下，其肿立清，真起死回生之圣药也。
发背疗疮双蛾对口方蟾酥一钱雄黄朱砂各四分血竭轻粉各六分粉霜五分冰片五分乳香没药麝香各三分右共为细末，丸如菜子大，朱砂为衣。每服三丸，喉蛾舌上噙化。发寒用葱白好酒送下。
百毒疮阳物烂下可保重生方红粉霜一两牛黄钟乳粉各五钱右共为末。如阳物烂，加妇人初行经红布裤裆烧灰五分。如百毒烂者，用粉霜一两，加洗过皂布烧灰一两。如鼻烂，力口壮实人修下脚皮三钱，研细掺之，效。难尽述。
梅花点舌丹(此丹治上部初起恶毒)朱砂雄黄乳香没药血竭硼砂葶苈各一钱沉香牛黄蟾酥白灵药冰片各五分麝香珍珠熊胆各三分右共乳极细，酒和为丸，如莱菔子大，金箔为衣，烘干封固。加男胎乳尤妙。服用葱白酒送下三五丸，量毒之微甚，加减取醉。
十宝丹(此丹配灵药治诸症详见后条)牛黄五分冰片三分五厘归尾阿魏各一钱白芷丁香乳香明雄各三钱槐花-椙没药二钱右为末，加后药五钱，磁罐收用。
太保减巢丹此丹系灵药。汞一两五钱火硝一两三钱明矾盐各一两硼砂三钱文武火三炷香升用。
打灵砒法白砒四两，先用绿豆水、甘草水煮干。右入罐封固，打火三炷香，取出。配前二料，米饮调丸，绿豆大。每服五丸，日三服，随症引用。一毒在腹。用丹一钱五分，砒一分五厘，川芎藁本白芷瓜蒌汤下。一毒在鼻。丹二钱，砒一分五厘，花粉共丸，山栀川芎煎汤下。一毒在耳。丹砒分两照前，花粉共丸，川芎石菖蒲汤下。一毒在喉。丹砒分两照前，花粉共丸，川芎汤下。一毒在背。丹砒分两照前，花纷五钱，共丸，川芎柴胡汤下。一毒在腰，上下两胁。丹四钱，重日五钱，砒二分半，牡蛎煅一钱，人参五分，共丸。黄芪牛膝花粉煎汤热送下。一毒在腿。丹五钱，砒二分半，花粉三钱，防己五钱，共丸，木瓜牛膝苡仁汤下一毒在脚底。丹六钱砒三分半，花粉、沉香各五钱，共丸，木瓜牛膝汤下。一毒在下疳。丹三钱，砒一分半，牛膝猪苓汤下。一妇人并阴内上下年久烂见骨者，手足不能伸屈。丹八钱，砒三分半，花椒三钱，共丸，牛膝汤下。一阴囊作痒，抓破流水不干。丹四钱，砒一分半，地肤子牛膝苍术汤下。一鱼口。丹三钱，砒一分半，牛膝牙皂汤下。一筋骨疼痛，遍身红肿，不能行走，不论远近。丹八钱，砒二分，牛膝槐花汤下。一遍身作痒，水肿风疮，为血热风。丹五钱，砒一分半，花粉五钱为丸，牛膝川芎款冬花汤下。一癣毒。痘毒丹五钱，砒一分半，花粉五钱，共丸，牛膝苦参汤下。一瘰疬穿烂，日久不愈，丹六钱，砒二分半，旧琉璃底共丸，夏枯草昆布海藻滑石花粉瓜蒌汤下。一湿痰流注，溃烂日久不愈。丹五钱，砒二分半，川芎白芷牛膝汤下。一发背痈疽疔疮肿毒。丹三钱，砒一分，蟾酥二分，共丸，川芎白芷山甲汤下。一毒在脑顶，烂见骨者。丹一钱五分，砒一分半，川芎藁本汤下。以上诸症须用活法看。人老幼虚实，新久轻重浅深，重者不过一月，轻者不过半月收功。若虚者加人参、黄芪、白术、茯苓补之。如虚人服之，必发寒热喉痛头眩，是药所致，切勿疑忌，停一二日再服可也。切忌酒色，煎炒，五辛，发味。服药先用五丸至七丸为止，日进三服如黍米大。
柱下遗佩丹一名老君丹。汞食盐各一两火硝明矾皂矾各二两右共研匀，结胎封固。升三炷香，一文二武，冷定，取出，升药配后群药用。如升药三钱，外加蜈蚣酒、炙全蝎酒、炙僵蚕、炒防风、晒荆芥、晒川山甲、土炒三七、炙朱砂、雄黄、乳香、没药各一钱五分，合前药为丸，朱砂为衣，或花粉为衣。每日清晨空心服七厘，陈酒送下。重者土茯苓汤下四十九日。内忌羊肉、生冷等发味。如若口破，绿豆煎汤常嗽口，停三两日再服，能治瘰疬未溃已溃，杨梅结毒，痈疽等恶疮。轻则十服，重则一月，愈。验如桴鼓。

灵药秘方卷之下
神仙一剪梅无为真人流传，乃济世之神方也。专治五经痰火，久咳气喘不止，吐血紫痰红色，诸药不效，难疗之症。此药一进，血自归经。三服见效，七服除根。
阳丹法铅汞硼砂明矾各一两火硝二两右先将铅化开，入汞搅匀，冷定，研碎，再入后三味，研匀，入罐封固。打火三炷香，开取盏上灵药。
阴丹法汞三两硫黄八钱右共研为末，入杓内炒硬，倾地下，冷取起，再研，入罐封固。打火三炷香，取盏下药配用。配法：阳丹二钱，阴丹八钱，再阴丹二钱，阳丹八钱，共配二两，听用。入没药，加药方。辰砂胡连青黛绿豆粉白糖各一两沉香海粉天竺黄儿茶冰片各三钱熊胆麝香牛黄各五钱右共为细末，再用嫩滑石一两，磨浓汁调丸，如桐子大。每服三五颗，照后各经病症用药，煎汤送下。一心经受病吐血成片，鲜红者。是用远志肉(甘草汤煮)，白茯苓(乳汁浸过)，石连子、枣仁(炒研)，甘草煎汤送下五七丸。一肝经受病吐血，或紫檀色者。是用胆草(甘草煎煮过)、柴胡(炒)白芍青皮甘草煎汤送下七丸。一脾经受病，吐痰稠黏不断，带血丝者。是用青皮、陈皮、白术(土炒)甘草煎汤送下七丸。一肺经受病，吐痰黄白色作血腥者。是用知母、贝母、杏仁(去皮尖)、桑白皮(蜜炙)、甘草煎汤下七丸。一肾经受病，吐痰成块，如鱼冻者。是用知母(乳汁浸炒)、五味子、枸杞子、黄柏(盐水炒)、甘草煎汤送下五七丸。以上诸方系山西超师金陵佴先生二人所授。
实宝丹此药能治各症配药方。乳香没药雄黄丁香朱砂轻粉各一钱当归白芷槐花各三钱右共为细末，听用。配灵药。如毒在上，加升麻，在下，加牛膝，木瓜。随症引用。内中加牛黄更妙。
灵药方制白砒制土硫各四两右共细末，入罐封固，打火四炷香，取盏上药如琥珀色者佳，黄色不用。约有灵药六七钱，米糊为丸，重二三厘，遇病随引加减。一肺经面赤喘促，加黄芪。一脾经胃大肠热，加大黄、芒硝。一少阳胆症，加石菖蒲、蒌仁。一肝经，加龙胆草、甘菊、黄柏、芍药。一凡一切疮毒痛者，只须回生散，加六贤散，依后六门法治之。一外点诸顽疮恶毒腐肉作脓亦用，并杨梅结毒，不必问其新久浅深，同时制宜，用之万无一失。
一、治疗中满臌胀、水肿等症状。取本药二钱，加入沉香、木香各一钱五分，土狗（蝼蛄）三枚，经炙烤后去除头足，用糊剂制成丸药，大小如绿豆。每日空腹时，用白商陆和砂仁煎汤送服三丸，以症状平复为度，随后使用调理方剂。
二、治疗九种心痛，腹中冷气积聚，久治不愈者。取本药三钱，加入干姜、良姜、大椒各一钱，研末或制丸，用川椒汤或砂仁汤送服三分，每日三次。
三、治疗风寒湿邪阻滞经络，导致筋骨疼痛。取本药三钱，加入乳香、去油没药各三钱，鸦片、朱砂粉各五分，若无真鸦片，可用少许麝香代替，用好酒糊剂制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一丸，用酒送服，每日三次。病程较长者，先服用黄金散以发汗。
四、治疗妇女月经闭止，瘀血作痛，或形成瘕瘕痞块。根据情况增加班蝥、红娘子的用量，与米同炒，去除头足，每次服用八厘，空腹时用红花酒送服，每日三次，以月经通行为度。体质虚弱者，去掉班蝥和红娘子，单用米制作。
五、治疗外科各种肿毒。取本药、血竭各三钱，蝉蜕酥五分，麝香三分，用糊剂制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一丸，用酒送服，根据病灶上下部位调整服药方式，每日三次。
六、治疗痰核、马疔、结核等症状。取本药三钱，胆南星、半夏、贝母各一钱五分，麝香三分，若已溃破则加去油乳香、去油没药各一钱，用糊剂制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一丸，每日三次。
七、治疗杨梅结毒，无论病程长短。取本药、朱砂各三钱，雄黄、银朱各一钱，用黄蜡制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一丸，用土茯苓汤送服。
八、治疗下疳蛀杆，无论病程长短。取本药、朱砂、雄黄各一钱，去油乳香、去油没药、血竭、龙骨各一钱，研为细末，直接撒敷患处。
九、治疗裙边湿毒泡疮久不收口者。取去油乳香、去油没药各一钱，冰片三分，将黄蜡和白蜡融化于少许麻油中，熬成膏药贴敷。
十、治疗喉风十八症。取奉药五厘，用好醋调匀，滴入喉中，吐出痰涎即见效。若有溃烂，用苦茶调敷，牙疽、口疳均可治疗。
十一、治疗各种风癣、顽癣、牛皮血癣。根据情况增加白砒、土硫黄研为细末，或用醋、油调敷。
第四方即前第一方，药味相同，只是在火罐内用水提取升药，参照前第三方的加助药方法，打火三次。每次用药研极细，用糕糊制成丸药，大小如麻仁。每日空腹时用人参汤或枣汤送服一二十丸。若疮疡并发内症，痰涎壅塞，上盛下虚，有升无降，出现吐逆咳嗽、痰火喘急、膈食翻胃呕吐等症状，用陈皮汤送服。若为翻胃膈食，吐逆饱嘈，用丁香木香汤送服。若为虚损欲成劳怯，用生姜乌梅汤送服。若为偏正头风痛，久治不愈，用川芎葱汤送服。若为心腹肿胀，腿膝酸痛，用蓬术汤送服。若为阴虚盗汗，小便过多，元阳不足，用牡蛎汤送服。若为男女气血不和，小腹急痛，用桃仁汤送服。若为湿气、脚气酸痛，用木瓜汤送服。若为遗精、淋浊，用白茯苓牡蛎汤送服。若为阴症厥冷吐逆不下，用生姜汤送服。若为失心痴呆，神不守舍，用辰砂汤送服。若为五痫昏厥不醒，用生姜汤送服。若为五劳七伤，虚损已成，用独参汤送服。
第五方即前第二方药味相同，只是在火罐内打火三转后，可使用引药，专门治疗外症。取本药、雄黄、朱砂各一两，去油乳香、去油没药各二钱，当归、白芷、槐花各二两。若疼痛剧烈，加丁香二钱等分，研为细末，老米糊制成丸药，大小如梧桐子，备用。凡遇杨梅疮漏、发背、瘰疬等恶疮，每次服用以牙皂一根、土茯苓四两煎汤，前十日进服五丸，中间十日进服六丸，后十日进服七丸，服药后若出现寒热，是毒气外出的表现，不必惊慌疑惧。
第六方：水银、枯矾、火硝各一两二钱，硼砂、硇砂各一钱二分。上述药物先共同炒制为细末，装入罐中封固，打火三炷香的时间，加入炉甘石一两二钱，共同研磨后装入罐中，再打火一炷香的时间，半取出，用童便拌药，共同炒制并摊在地上，如此炒摊七次，再次研为细末，装入罐中封固。打火一炷香半的时间，取出埋入地下，经过一日一夜，再次研为细末，加入去油乳香、去油没药各一钱二分。又用童便拌匀晾晒，加入朱砂六分，过筛，研细，收于磁缸中封固。每次服用用土茯苓、牙皂煎汤送服。此散的用法均参照前文“六贤散”，主治医例，其疗效更为神奇。
第七方：白雪丹。盐矾、硝皂矾各二两五钱。上述药物共同研磨入锅，炒至九成干，加入汞二两、朱砂五钱，共同研磨，直至无星且带青色，装入包洒瓶内按紧，瓶口用布盖住，再用黄泥沿瓶身周围按紧，中间留一孔，大小如瓶口，待泥干后，再用夏布一块扎紧瓶口。用一个阳城罐，将药罐对口扎定，封固如法。再用一个大磁盆，盛水在内，将前药瓶倒立，空罐底立于水盆内，盆上用砖隔开。先将罐内药圈标记何处停止，火候也在此处停止，到达药边为度，或者超过药一指宽亦可，药可出上罐入下罐，即过分火候，其功效相同，猛火亦可。先文火后武火，共三炷香，火足后冷却定型，取出。下罐内有水，不可横浸入水，以免湿了上罐口的药。开罐取出，药松白色为佳，若不松白也可使用。此丹治疗一切肿毒。脓出者用之，拔毒去其脓血；未出脓者用之，点起泡自破，出水，再用药纸贴之，自干而愈。治未破者，用蒸醋少许，调点。若脓溃烂者，可用六贤散掺之。若误上白雪丹，痛不可忍，亦敷六贤散药纸贴之。
第八方：药纸。杭州高白油纸一百张，生甘草八两。先用净水十五碗，放入甘草煎至六七碗，去渣，再煎至三四碗，浓稠。将纸分为四块，入锅，块块见汁，煮干为度。取出晒干，收好备用。凡点白雪丹泡破出水后，用此纸照泡大小针刺白孔，津湿贴之，刺眼，以便出水候自愈脱。白雪丹犯膏药，其口更开、更烂，贴此药纸最妙。
第九方：白粉霜。硼砂八钱，火硝、明矾各三两，甘草一两。先将前三味共同研磨，再用甘草煎浓汁，煮干，其次用水银、轻粉各一两五钱，共同研磨，直至无星。装入罐中封固，打火三炷香，擦盏，冷却定型，取升药。每一两加血竭三钱，乳匀，收好备用。此霜兼治内外证，大人止服一分三厘，小儿止可服七厘，须分上下部引药送下。以上九方一气呵成，加减火候，可悉照其例，固有缺一不可者。
三花聚顶丹：明矾一两六钱，白硝一两四钱，水银一两。上述三味，如法封固，文武火五炷香，擦盏冷却定型，开罐取药。配用极能去腐生肌退管。

梅花点舌丹（此丹治上部初起恶毒）：朱砂、雄黄、乳香、没药、血竭、硼砂、葶苈各一钱，沉香、牛黄、蟾酥、白灵药、冰片各五分，麝香、珍珠、熊胆各三分。上述共同乳极细，酒和为丸，如莱菔子大，金箔为衣，烘干封固。加男胎乳尤妙。服用葱白酒送下三五丸，量毒之微甚，加减取醉。
十宝丹（此丹配灵药治诸症详见后条）：牛黄五分，冰片三分五厘，归尾、阿魏各一钱，白芷、丁香、乳香、明雄各三钱，槐花、没药二钱。上述为末，加后药五钱，磁罐收用。
太保减巢丹：此丹系灵药。汞一两五钱，火硝一两三钱，明矾、盐各一两，硼砂三钱，文武火三炷香升用。
打灵砒法：白砒四两，先用绿豆水、甘草水煮干。上述入罐封固，打火三炷香，取出。配前二料，米饮调丸，绿豆大。每次服用五丸，日三服，随症引用。毒在腹，用丹一钱五分，砒一分五厘，川芎、藁本、白芷、瓜蒌汤下。毒在鼻，丹二钱，砒一分五厘，花粉共丸，山栀、川芎煎汤下。毒在耳，丹砒分两照前，花粉共丸，川芎、石菖蒲汤下。毒在喉，丹砒分两照前，花粉共丸，川芎汤下。毒在背，丹砒分两照前，花粉五钱，共丸，川芎、柴胡汤下。毒在腰，上下两胁，丹四钱，重日五钱，砒二分半，牡蛎煅一钱，人参五分，共丸。黄芪、牛膝、花粉煎汤热送下。毒在腿，丹五钱，砒二分半，花粉三钱，防己五钱，共丸，木瓜、牛膝、苡仁汤下。毒在脚底，丹六钱，砒三分半，花粉、沉香各五钱，共丸，木瓜、牛膝汤下。毒在下疳，丹三钱，砒一分半，牛膝、猪苓汤下。妇人并阴内上下年久烂见骨者，手足不能伸屈，丹八钱，砒三分半，花椒三钱，共丸，牛膝汤下。阴囊作痒，抓破流水不干，丹四钱，砒一分半，地肤子、牛膝、苍术汤下。鱼口，丹三钱，砒一分半，牛膝、牙皂汤下。筋骨疼痛，遍身红肿，不能行走，不论远近，丹八钱，砒二分，牛膝、槐花汤下。遍身作痒，水肿风疮，为血热风，丹五钱，砒一分半，花粉五钱为丸，牛膝、川芎、款冬花汤下。癣毒，痘毒丹五钱，砒一分半，花粉五钱，共丸，牛膝、苦参汤下。瘰疬穿烂，日久不愈，丹六钱，砒二分半，旧琉璃底共丸，夏枯草、昆布、海藻、滑石、花粉、瓜蒌汤下。湿痰流注，溃烂日久不愈，丹五钱，砒二分半，川芎、白芷、牛膝汤下。发背痈疽疔疮肿毒，丹三钱，砒一分，蟾酥二分，共丸，川芎、白芷、山甲汤下。毒在脑顶，烂见骨者，丹一钱五分，砒一分半，川芎、藁本汤下。以上诸症须用活法看。人老幼虚实，新久轻重浅深，重者不过一月，轻者不过半月收功。若虚者加人参、黄芪、白术、茯苓补之。如虚人服之，必发寒热喉痛头眩，是药所致，切勿疑忌，停一二日再服可也。切忌酒色，煎炒，五辛，发味。服药先用五丸至七丸为止，日进三服如黍米大。
柱下遗佩丹：一名老君丹。汞、食盐各一两，火硝、明矾、皂矾各二两。上述共同研匀，结胎封固。升三炷香，一文二武，冷却定型，取出，升药配后群药用。如升药三钱，外加蜈蚣酒、炙全蝎酒、炙僵蚕、炒防风、晒荆芥、晒川山甲、土炒三七、炙朱砂、雄黄、乳香、没药各一钱五分，合前药为丸，朱砂为衣，或花粉为衣。每日清晨空心服七厘，陈酒送下。重者土茯苓汤下四十九日。内忌羊肉、生冷等发味。如若口破，绿豆煎汤常嗽口，停三两日再服，能治瘰疬未溃已溃，杨梅结毒，痈疽等恶疮。轻则十服，重则一月，愈。验如桴鼓。

灵药秘方卷之下
神仙一剪梅：无为真人流传，乃济世之神方也。专治五经痰火，久咳气喘不止，吐血紫痰红色，诸药不效，难疗之症。此药一进，血自归经。三服见效，七服除根。
阳丹法：铅、汞、硼砂、明矾各一两，火硝二两。上述先将铅化开，入汞搅匀，冷却定型，研碎，再入后三味，研匀，入罐封固。打火三炷香，开取盏上灵药。
阴丹法：汞三两，硫黄八钱。上述共同研为末，入杓内炒硬，倾地下，冷取起，再研，入罐封固。打火三炷香，取盏下药配用。配法：阳丹二钱，阴丹八钱，再阴丹二钱，阳丹八钱，共配二两，听用。入没药，加药方。辰砂、胡连、青黛、绿豆粉、白糖各一两，沉香、海粉、天竺黄、儿茶、冰片各三钱，熊胆、麝香、牛黄各五钱。上述共同研为细末，再用嫩滑石一两，磨浓汁调丸，如桐子大。每次服用三五颗，照后各经病症用药，煎汤送下。心经受病吐血成片，鲜红者。是用远志肉（甘草汤煮），白茯苓（乳汁浸过），石莲子、枣仁（炒研），甘草煎汤送下五七丸。肝经受病吐血，或紫檀色者。是用胆草（甘草煎煮过）、柴胡（炒）、白芍、青皮、甘草煎汤送下七丸。脾经受病，吐痰稠黏不断，带血丝者。是用青皮、陈皮、白术（土炒）、甘草煎汤送下七丸。肺经受病，吐痰黄白色作血腥者。是用知母、贝母、杏仁（去皮尖）、桑白皮（蜜炙）、甘草煎汤下七丸。肾经受病，吐痰成块，如鱼冻者。是用知母（乳汁浸炒）、五味子、枸杞子、黄柏（盐水炒）、甘草煎汤送下五七丸。以上诸方系山西超师金陵佴先生二人所授。
实宝丹：此药能治各症配药方。乳香、没药、雄黄、丁香、朱砂、轻粉各一钱，当归、白芷、槐花各三钱。上述共同研为细末，听用。配灵药。如毒在上，加升麻，在下，加牛膝，木瓜。随症引用。内中加牛黄更妙。
灵药方：制白砒、制土硫各四两。上述共同细末，入罐封固，打火四炷香，取盏上药如琥珀色者佳，黄色不用。约有灵药六七钱，米糊为丸，重二三厘，遇病随引加减。肺经面赤喘促，加黄芪。脾经胃大肠热，加大黄、芒硝。少阳胆症，加石菖蒲、蒌仁。肝经，加龙胆草、甘菊、黄柏、芍药。凡一切疮毒痛者，只须回生散，加六贤散，依后六门法治之。外点诸顽疮恶毒腐肉作脓亦用，并杨梅结毒，不必问其新久浅深，同时制宜，用之万无一失。
1. For treating fullness in the middle, abdominal distension (Zhongman Guzhang), edema, and other symptoms. Take two qian of this medicine, add one qian five fen each of Chenxiang (Aquilaria Agallocha Wood) and Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), and three Tugou (Gryllotalpa Africana, Mole Cricket). Roast them, remove heads and feet, and make pills with paste, sized like mung beans. Each day on an empty stomach, take three pills with a decoction of Baishanglu (Phytolaccae Radix) and Sharen (Amomi Fructus), until symptoms subside, then use a conditioning formula.
2. For treating nine types of heart pain, cold qi accumulation in the abdomen, that has not responded to treatment for a long time. Take three qian of this medicine, add one qian each of Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Liangjiang (Galangal Rhizome), and Dajiao (Sichuan Pepper). Make into powder or pills, and take three fen with Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper) decoction or Sharen decoction, three times a day.
3. For treating wind-cold-dampness pathogenic factors stagnating in meridians and collaterals, causing bone and tendon pain. Take three qian of this medicine, add three qian each of Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed, and five fen each of Yapien (Opium) and Zhusha (Cinnabar). If genuine Opium is unavailable, substitute with a small amount of Shexiang (Moschus). Make pills with good wine paste, sized like paulownia seeds. Take one pill each time with wine, three times a day. For chronic cases, first take Huangjin San (Golden Powder) to induce sweating.
4. For treating women with amenorrhea, pain caused by blood stasis, or masses (Ji Ju) and痞块 (Pi Kuai). Increase the dosage of Banmao (Mylabris) and Hongniangzi (Lyttae), stir-fry with rice, remove heads and feet. Take eight li each time on an empty stomach with Honghua (Carthami Flos) wine, three times a day, until menstruation resumes. For those with deficiency, remove Banmao and Hongniangzi, use only rice.
5. For treating various external sores and swellings. Take three qian each of this medicine and Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis), five fen of Chansu (Toad Venom), and three fen of Shexiang (Moschus). Make pills with paste, sized like paulownia seeds. Take one pill each time with wine, adjusting administration based on upper or lower body locations, three times a day.
6. For treating phlegm nodules (Tan He), Ma Ding (hard carbuncle), tuberculosis, and other conditions. Take three qian of this medicine, one qian five fen each of Danning (Arisaematis Cum Bile), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), and Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus), and three fen of Shexiang (Moschus). If ulcerated, add one qian each of Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed. Make pills with paste, sized like paulownia seeds. Take one pill each time, three times a day.
7. For treating Yangmei Jiedu (Syphilitic toxins), regardless of duration. Take three qian each of this medicine and Zhusha (Cinnabar), one qian each of Xionghuang (Realgar) and Yinzhu (Artificial Cinnabar). Make pills with yellow beeswax, sized like paulownia seeds. Take one pill each time with Tufuling (Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma) decoction.
8. For treating Xiagan (chancre) and rotting canes, regardless of duration. Take one qian each of this medicine, Zhusha (Cinnabar), and Xionghuang (Realgar); one qian each of Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed, Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis), and Longgu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi). Grind into powder and apply directly.
9. For treating裙边湿毒泡疮 (moisture-toxin blisters on the skirt edge) that do not heal for a long time. Take one qian each of Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed, and three fen of Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum). Melt Huangla (Yellow Beeswax) and Baila (White Beeswax) into a small amount of Mazhong (Sesame Oil), boil into an ointment, and apply.
10. For treating Houfeng (throat wind) eighteen syndromes. Take five li of Fengyao, mix evenly with good vinegar, drip into the throat, and expectorate phlegm and saliva for immediate effect. For ulcerated cases, apply with bitter tea; it also treats Ya Ju (tooth abscess) and Kou Gan (oral ulcers).
11. For treating various Feng Xuan (wind tinea), stubborn tinea, and Niu Pi Xue Xuan (cow skin blood tinea). Increase dosage of Bai Pi (White Arsenic) and Tu Liuhuang (Native Sulfur), grind into powder, and apply mixed with vinegar or oil.
The Fourth Formula is the same as the First Formula above, with identical ingredients, except that the sublimation process uses water in the fire lamp, following the method of adding auxiliary drugs from the Third Formula, firing three times. Grind the medicine extremely fine each time, make pills with cake paste, sized like hemp seeds. Take ten to twenty pills on an empty stomach with Ginseng decoction or Jujube decoction. If a sore is accompanied by internal symptoms, such as phlegm-saliva obstruction, excess above and deficiency below, rising without descending, vomiting, coughing, phlegm-fire wheezing, chest food retention, and reflux vomiting, take with Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) decoction. For reflux vomiting and chest food retention with belching and hunger pangs, take with Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos) and Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) decoction. For deficiency damage threatening to become consumptive disease, take with Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) and Wumei (Mume Fructus) decoction. For lateral or frontal headache due to wind, chronic and unhealed, take with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma) and Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) decoction. For heart and abdominal swelling, leg and knee soreness and pain, take with Pengzhu (Curcumae Rhizoma) decoction. For yin deficiency night sweats, excessive urination, and insufficient primordial yang, take with Mumli (Concha Ostreae) decoction. For disharmony of qi and blood in men and women, acute pain in the lower abdomen, take with Taoren (Persicae Semen) decoction. For dampness and gout with soreness and pain, take with Mugua (Chaenomelis Fructus) decoction. For spermatorrhea and cloudy urine, take with Baifuling (Poria) and Mumli (Concha Ostreae) decoction. For yin syndrome with cold extremities and vomiting unable to go down, take with Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) decoction. For loss of heart spirit, dementia, and unsettled mind, take with Chen Sha (Cinnabar) decoction. For five epilepsy seizures with unconsciousness, take with Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) decoction. For five labors and seven injuries, with established deficiency damage, take with Dushen Tang (Single Ginseng Decoction).
The Fifth Formula has the same ingredients as the Second Formula above, but after three turns of sublimation, guiding drugs can be used, specifically for external diseases. Take one tael each of this medicine, Xionghuang (Realgar), and Zhusha (Cinnabar); two qian each of Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed; and two taels each of Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), and Huaihua (Sophorae Flos). If pain is severe, add two qian of Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos) in equal parts, grind into powder, make pills with old rice paste, sized like paulownia seeds, for use. For any Yangmei chancres, leaking sores, back carbuncles, scrofula, and other malignant sores, take one toothpick of Yazao (Gleditsiae Spina) and four taels of Tufuling (Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma) to decoct. In the first ten days, take five pills; in the next ten days, six pills; in the final ten days, seven pills. If fever and chills occur after taking, it indicates toxin expulsion; do not be alarmed.
The Sixth Formula: Shuiyin (Mercurius), Kufan (Alumen Ustums), Huoxiao (Natrii Nitras) each one tael two qian; Pengsha (Borax), Naosha (Sal Ammoniac) each one qian two fen. The above medicines are first stir-fried together into a fine powder, put into a jar, sealed tightly, and fired for three incense sticks' duration. Add one tael two qian of Luganshi (Calamina), grind together, put back into the jar, and fire again for one incense stick's duration. Halfway out, mix with child's urine, stir-fry together, and spread on the ground. Repeat this stir-frying and spreading seven times, then grind into powder again, put into a jar, and seal tightly. Fire for one and a half incense sticks' duration, take out and bury in the ground for one day and night, then grind into powder again. Add one qian two fen each of Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed. Mix again with child's urine, sun-dry, add six fen of Zhusha (Cinnabar), sieve, grind finely, and store in a porcelain jar, sealed. Take with Tufuling (Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma) and Yazao (Gleditsiae Spina) decoction. This powder's usage follows the previous Liu Xian San (Six Immortals Powder), following the master doctor's examples, with even more miraculous effects.
The Seventh Formula: Baixue Dan (White Snow Pill). Yanfan (Alumen) and Xiaofan (Vitriol) each two taels five qian. The above are ground together into a pot, stir-fried until ninety percent dry, add two taels of Mercury (Hong), five qian of Zhusha (Cinnabar), grind together until no stars remain and it turns bluish-green. Pack tightly into a Bao Sa bottle, cover the mouth with cloth the size of the bottle opening, then seal the surrounding area tightly with yellow mud, leaving one hole in the center the size of the bottle opening. When the mud is dry, tie the bottle mouth with a piece of summer linen. Use one Yangcheng jar, align the medicine jar mouth-to-mouth, tie firmly, and seal properly. Use a large porcelain basin filled with water, invert the previous medicine bottle, place the empty jar bottom in the water basin, and separate with bricks on top of the basin. Mark where the medicine circle stops in the jar; stop the fire there, reaching the medicine edge, or one finger width past the medicine. The medicine can rise to the upper jar and fall into the lower jar; exceeding the fire degree yields the same efficacy, strong fire is also acceptable. Start with gentle fire then strong fire, total three incense sticks. When fire is sufficient, let cool and solidify, then take out. There will be water in the lower jar; do not immerse horizontally to avoid wetting the medicine at the upper jar mouth. Open the jar and take out; the medicine should be loose and white, which is ideal, but usable even if not loose and white. This pill treats all kinds of swellings and toxins. For pus discharge, use it to draw out toxins and remove pus and blood; for non-pus cases, use it to induce blistering which bursts naturally, releasing fluid, then apply medicinal paper to dry and heal. For unbroken cases, use a little steamed vinegar to mix and apply. If pus is ulcerated, use Liu Xian San (Six Immortals Powder) to sprinkle. If Baixue Dan is mistakenly applied and causes unbearable pain, also apply Liu Xian San medicinal paper.
The Eighth Formula: Medicinal Paper. One hundred sheets of Hangzhou high-white oil paper, eight taels of Sheng Gancao (Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma). First, use fifteen bowls of clean water, add Gancao, decoct until six or seven bowls remain, remove dregs, then decoct again until three or four bowls remain, making it thick. Divide the paper into four pieces, put into the pot, ensure each piece sees the juice, boil until dry. Take out, sun-dry, and store for use. After Baixue Dan blisters break and release fluid, use this paper to prick white holes according to blister size, moisten with saliva, and apply. Prick eyes to facilitate fluid drainage and self-healing/detachment. If Baixue Dan contacts plaster, causing larger and worse ulcers, applying this medicinal paper is best.
The Ninth Formula: Baifen Shuang (White Powder Frost). Pengsha (Borax) eight qian, Huoxiao (Natrii Nitras) and Mingfan (Alumen) each three taels, Gancao (Licorice Root) one tael. First, grind the first three ingredients together, then decoct Gancao into thick juice, boil dry. Next, add one tael five qian each of Shuiyin (Mercurius) and Qingfen (Calomelas), grind together until no stars remain. Put into a jar, seal, and fire for three incense sticks. Scrape the lid, let cool and solidify, then collect the sublimated medicine. For every one tael, add three qian of Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis), blend evenly, and store. This frost treats both internal and external conditions; adults take only one fen three li, children take only seven li, guided by upper or lower body directing drugs. The above nine formulas are completed in one breath; adjustments to fire degrees follow these examples, none being dispensable.
San Hua Ju Ding Dan (Three Flowers Gathering at the Top Pill): Mingfan (Alumen) one tael six qian, Bai Xiao (White Niter) one tael four qian, Shuiyin (Mercurius) one tael. The above three ingredients are sealed properly, fired with gentle and strong fire for five incense sticks, scraped, cooled, and collected. Preparation is excellent for removing necrotic tissue, generating flesh, and regressing tubes.
Sheng Ji San (Flesh-Generating Powder): Four qian of previous Lingyao (Spirit Medicine), two qian each of Moyao (Myrrha), Ruxiang (Olibanum), and Ercha (Catechu) with oil removed, one qian of Zhenzhu (Pearl), or adding Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) and Renshen (Ginseng) is better. Grind all into fine powder, sprinkle on sores to remove necrosis and generate new tissue, with effects as immediate as an echo.
Zhen Yuan Hui He Dan (True Primordial Union Pill): Zaofan (Melanterite), Baifan (White Alum), Shuiyin (Mercurius), Huoxiao (Natrii Nitras), and Shiyan (Salt) each two taels. Grind uniformly, form embryo, seal, fire with gentle and strong fire for five incense sticks, reduce sufficiently, cool, open jar, and collect the reduced medicine from the bottom. Processed and prepared, combined with Xianling Baixue Bing (Immortal Spirit White Snow Cake). One tael of previously reduced medicine, two qian of cooked Huashi (Talcum) water-flown. These two ingredients are mixed with Shanzhugu (Paris Polyphylla) powder and boiling water paste to form small cakes, pinched according to sore size using these two formulas, immediately removing toxic roots without dispersion. Tianyuelai Dan (Heavenly Moon Coming Pill): Yanxiao (Saltpeter) six qian, Baifan (White Alum) four qian, Shuiyin (Mercurius) and Shiyan (Salt) each two taels, Heifan (Black Vitriol) two taels six qian. Grind into fine powder until mercury stars disappear, form embryo, seal, fire with gentle and strong fire for three incense sticks, reduce sufficiently. Collect reduced medicine from bottom, process, and prepare. If encountering Yangmei Jiedu (Syphilitic toxins), make pills with this medicine using flour paste, sized like wheat grains. Initial dose two pills, next three, then four, taken with hot yellow wine morning and evening, stopping when gums swell and ulcerate. Scabs fall off spontaneously with miraculous effect.
Hui Sheng Dan (Life-Restoring Pill): Zhen Chansu (True Toad Venom) and Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis) each two qian, Ruxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) with oil removed, Huhuanglian (Picrorhizae Rhizoma) one qian, Tianyuelai Dan (Heavenly Moon Coming Pill) six fen, Qingfen (Calomelas) six fen, Shexiang (Moschus), Zhusha (Cinnabar), and Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) each four fen. Grind all into fine powder, use raw Chansu (Toad Venom) to make pills sized like millet grains. Take one pill each time, send down with Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) decoction, induce sweating, avoid wind. If sores spread over the whole body with swelling and coma/unconsciousness, still use three pills ground into powder,灌 (pour) down with Congbai decoction; swelling clears immediately, truly a holy medicine for restoring life from death.
Fa Bei Liao Chuang Shuang E Duikou Fang (Back Carbuncle, Boil, Double Throat, Opposite Mouth Formula): Chansu (Toad Venom) one qian, Xionghuang (Realgar) and Zhusha (Cinnabar) each four fen, Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis) and Qingfen (Calomelas) each six fen, Fen Shuang (White Powder Frost) five fen, Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) five fen, Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), and Shexiang (Moschus) each three fen. Grind all into fine powder, make pills sized like rapeseed, coat with Zhusha (Cinnabar). Take three pills each time, hold in throat/tongue for double throat. For chills, send down with Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) and good wine.
Bai Du Chuang Yang Wu Lan Xia Ke Bao Zhong Sheng Fang (Hundred Toxins Sore, Genital Ulceration, Preserve Life Formula): Hongfen Shuang (Red Powder Frost) one tael, Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis) and Zhongru Fen (Stalactitis Powder) each five qian. Grind all into powder. If genital ulcerates, add five fen of ash from red cloth crotch worn by a woman during her first menstruation. If hundred-toxin ulcers, use one tael of Fen Shuang (White Powder Frost) plus one tael of ash from washed soap cloth. If nose ulcerates, add three qian of skin trimmed from healthy person's feet, grind fine, and sprinkle; effective. Too numerous to list.
Meihua Dian She Dan (Plum Blossom Pointing Tongue Pill) (This pill treats initial malignant toxins in the upper body): Zhusha (Cinnabar), Xionghuang (Realgar), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis), Pengsha (Borax), Tingli (Descurainiae Semen seu Lepidii Semen) each one qian; Chenxiang (Aquilaria Agallocha Wood), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis), Chansu (Toad Venom), Bai Lingyao (White Spirit Medicine), Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) each five fen; Shexiang (Moschus), Zhenzhu (Pearl), Xiongdan (Ursi Fel) each three fen. Grind all extremely fine, mix with wine to make pills sized like radish seeds, coat with gold foil, dry, and seal. Adding male fetal milk is especially good. Take three to five pills sent down with Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) and wine, adjust dosage based on toxin severity to achieve mild intoxication.
Shi Bao Dan (Ten Treasures Pill) (This pill combines with Spirit Medicine to treat various conditions, see details later): Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis) five fen, Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) three fen five li, Guiwei (Angelicae Sinensis Radix Tail), Awei (Ferulae Resina) each one qian; Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Mingxiong (Bright Realgar) each three qian; Huaihua (Sophorae Flos), Moyao (Myrrha) two qian. Grind into powder, add five qian of subsequent medicines, store in porcelain jar.
Taibao Jian Chao Dan (Protector Reducing Nest Pill): This pill is Spirit Medicine. Shuiyin (Mercurius) one tael five qian, Huoxiao (Natrii Nitras) one tael three qian, Mingfan (Alumen) and Salt each one tael, Pengsha (Borax) three qian. Fire with gentle and strong fire for three incense sticks, sublimate for use.
Da Ling Pi Fa (Method of Striking Spirit Arsenic): Bai Pi (White Arsenic) four taels, first boiled dry in mung bean water and Gancao (Licorice Root) water. Put into jar, seal, fire for three incense sticks, take out. Combine with previous two materials, adjust pills with rice drink, sized like mung beans. Take five pills each time, three times a day, guided by symptoms. Toxicity in abdomen: take one qian five fen of Dan (Pill), one fen five li of Pi (Arsenic), send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Gaoben (Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Gualou (Trichosanthis Radix) decoction. Toxicity in nose: two qian of Dan, one fen five li of Pi, combine with Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), make pills, send down with Shanzhi (Gardeniae Fructus) and Chuanxiong decoction. Toxicity in ear: Dan and Pi amounts as before, combine with Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), make pills, send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma) and Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma) decoction. Toxicity in throat: Dan and Pi amounts as before, combine with Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), make pills, send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma) decoction. Toxicity in back: Dan and Pi amounts as before, five qian of Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), combine, make pills, send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma) and Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) decoction. Toxicity in waist, upper and lower flanks: four qian of Dan, five qian of heavy day (likely typo for another herb or dosage unit, interpreted as part of formula), two fen half of Pi, one qian of calcined Mumli (Concha Ostreae), five fen of Renshen (Ginseng), combine, make pills. Send down hot with Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix) decoction. Toxicity in legs: five qian of Dan, two fen half of Pi, three qian of Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), five qian of Fangji (Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix), combine, make pills, send down with Mugua (Chaenomelis Fructus), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Yiren (Coicis Semen) decoction. Toxicity in soles: six qian of Dan, three fen half of Pi, five qian each of Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix) and Chenxiang (Aquilaria Agallocha Wood), combine, make pills, send down with Mugua (Chaenomelis Fructus) and Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) decoction. Toxicity in Xiagan (Chancre): three qian of Dan, one fen half of Pi, send down with Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) and Zhuling (Polyporus) decoction. Women with internal yin ulcers exposing bone for years, limbs unable to flex/extend: eight qian of Dan, three fen half of Pi, three qian of Huajiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), combine, make pills, send down with Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) decoction. Scrotal itching, scratching breaks skin, flowing water not drying: four qian of Dan, one fen half of Pi, send down with Difuzi (Kochiae Fructus), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Cangzhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma) decoction. Yu Kou (Fish Mouth Abscess): three qian of Dan, one fen half of Pi, send down with Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) and Yazao (Gleditsiae Spina) decoction. Bone and tendon pain, whole body red swelling, unable to walk, regardless of duration: eight qian of Dan, two fen of Pi, send down with Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) and Huaihua (Sophorae Flos) decoction. Whole body itching, edema wind sores, due to blood heat wind: five qian of Dan, one fen half of Pi, five qian of Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), make pills, send down with Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Kuandonghua (Farfarae Flos) decoction. Tinea toxin: Five qian of Dou Du Dan (Bean Toxin Pill), one fen half of Pi, five qian of Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), combine, make pills, send down with Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) and Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix) decoction. Scrofula penetrating and ulcerating, chronic unhealed: six qian of Dan, two fen half of Pi, combine with old glass bottom, make pills, send down with Xiakucao (Prunellae Spica), Kunbu (Laminariae Thallus), Haizao (Sargassum), Huashi (Talcum), Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix), Gualou (Trichosanthis Radix) decoction. Wet-phlegm flowing injection, ulcerating chronic unhealed: five qian of Dan, two fen half of Pi, send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix) decoction. Back carbuncle, furuncle, boil, swelling toxin: three qian of Dan, one fen of Pi, two fen of Chansu (Toad Venom), combine, make pills, send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Shan Jia (Mantis Oviperculum) decoction. Toxicity in crown of head, ulcerating exposing bone: one qian five fen of Dan, one fen half of Pi, send down with Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma) and Gaoben (Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix) decoction. All above conditions require flexible application based on patient age, deficiency/excess, new/chronic, severity, depth. Severe cases resolve within one month, mild within half a month. For deficiency, add Renshen (Ginseng), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria) to tonify. If deficient patients take it, they may develop fever/chills, sore throat, dizziness due to the medicine; do not doubt or fear, stop for one or two days then resume. Strictly avoid alcohol, sex, fried foods, five pungent spices, and stimulating foods. Initial dose five to seven pills, three times a day, sized like millet grains.
Zhu Xia Yi Pei Dan (Pillar Below Leaving Pendant Pill): Also known as Laojun Dan (Old Lord Pill). Shuiyin (Mercurius) and Shiyan (Salt) each one tael, Huoxiao (Natrii Nitras), Mingfan (Alumen), Zaofan (Melanterite) each two taels. Grind uniformly, form embryo, seal. Sublimate for three incense sticks, one gentle two strong fires, cool, take out. Sublimated medicine combined with subsequent group medicines. If three qian of sublimated medicine, additionally add one qian five fen each of Wugong (Centipede) wine, Zhi Quanxie (Scorpio roasted), Zhi Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus roasted), Chao Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix stir-fried), Shai Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica sun-dried), Shai Chuan Shan Jia (Manis Squama sun-dried), Tu Chao Sanqi (Notoginseng Radix earth-roasted), Zhi Zhusha (Cinnabar roasted), Xionghuang (Realgar), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha). Combine with previous medicine to make pills, coat with Zhusha (Cinnabar) or Huafen (Trichosanthis Radix). Take seven li on empty stomach early morning, send down with aged wine. Severe cases send down with Tufuling (Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma) decoction for forty-nine days. Internally avoid mutton, raw/cold, and stimulating foods. If mouth ulcerates, frequently rinse with mung bean decoction, stop for two or three days then resume. Can treat scrofula un-ulcerated and ulcerated, Yangmei Jiedu (Syphilitic toxins), carbuncles, and other malignant sores. Mild cases cure in ten doses, severe in one month. Effective as drumstick striking.

Shenxian Yijian Mei (Immortal One Cut Plum): Passed down by Wuzhen Zhenren (Perfected True Man of Non-Action), a divine prescription for saving the world. Specifically treats phlegm-fire in five meridians, chronic cough and asthma unceasing, vomiting purple/red blood sputum, ineffective with other medicines, difficult-to-treat conditions. Once this medicine enters, blood returns to its vessels. Three doses show effect, seven doses eradicate root.
Yang Dan Method (Yang Pill Method): Qian (Lead), Hong (Mercury), Pengsha (Borax), Mingfan (Alumen) each one tael, Huoxiao (Natrii Nitras) two taels. First melt Lead, add Mercury, stir evenly, cool, grind, then add latter three ingredients, grind evenly, put into jar, seal. Fire for three incense sticks, open to collect Lingyao (Spirit Medicine) from the lid.
Yin Dan Method (Yin Pill Method): Shuiyin (Mercurius) three taels, Liuhuang (Sulfur) eight qian. Grind all into powder, stir-fry hard in ladle, pour onto ground, cool and collect, grind again, put into jar, seal. Fire for three incense sticks, collect medicine from lid for preparation. Preparation method: Two qian Yang Dan, eight qian Yin Dan; then two qian Yin Dan, eight qian Yang Dan, total two taels mixed, for use. Add Moyao (Myrrha), add medicine formula. Chen Sha (Cinnabar), Hulan (Picrorhizae Rhizoma), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), Ludou Fen (Mung Bean Powder), Baintang (White Sugar) each one tael; Chenxiang (Aquilaria Agallocha Wood), Haifen (Sea Powder), Tianzhuhuang (Calami Tuber), Ercha (Catechu), Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum) each three qian; Xiongdan (Ursi Fel), Shexiang (Moschus), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis) each five qian. Grind all into fine powder, use one tael of tender Huashi (Talcum) ground into thick juice to mix pills, sized like paulownia seeds. Take three to five pills each time, send down with decoction according to following meridian conditions. Heart meridian disease, vomiting blood in pieces, bright red: Send down five to seven pills with Yuanzhi Rou (Polygalae Radix meat) boiled in Gancao (Licorice Root) decoction, Baifuling (Poria) soaked in milk, Shilian Zi (Nelumbinis Nuculus), Zaoren (Ziziphi Spinosae Semen) stir-fried and ground, Gancao decoction. Liver meridian disease, vomiting blood, or purple-red color: Send down seven pills with Danshen (Gentianae Radix) boiled in Gancao decoction, Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) stir-fried, Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Gancao decoction. Spleen meridian disease, vomiting thick sticky phlegm continuously with blood streaks: Send down seven pills with Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) earth-roasted, Gancao decoction. Lung meridian disease, vomiting yellow-white phlegm with bloody smell: Send down seven pills with Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) peeled and tipped, Sangbaipi (Mori Cortex) honey-roasted, Gancao decoction. Kidney meridian disease, vomiting phlegm in blocks like fish jelly: Send down five to seven pills with Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) milk-soaked and stir-fried, Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus), Gouqizi (Lycii Fructus), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) salt-water stir-fried, Gancao decoction. The above formulas were taught by two masters, Teacher Chao from Shanxi and Mr. Nie from Jinling.

Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), Xionghuang (Realgar), Dingxiang (Caryophylli Flos), Zhusha (Cinnabar), Qingfen (Calomelas) each one qian; Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Huaihua (Sophorae Flos) each three qian. Grind all into fine powder, for use. Combine with Lingyao (Spirit Medicine). If toxin is upper, add Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma); if lower, add Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Mugua (Chaenomelis Fructus). Guide by symptoms. Adding Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis) inside is better.
Lingyao Fang (Spirit Medicine Formula): Zhi Bai Pi (Processed White Arsenic) and Zhi Tu Liuhuang (Processed Native Sulfur) each four taels. Grind fine, put into jar, seal, fire for four incense sticks. Collect medicine from lid; amber color is good, yellow is not used. Approximately six to seven qian of Lingyao (Spirit Medicine), make pills with rice paste, weighing two to three li, adjust with guiding drugs according to disease. Lung meridian face red and panting, add Huangqi (Astragali Radix). Spleen meridian stomach/large intestine heat, add Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas). Shaoyang Gallbladder syndrome, add Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Lou Ren (Trichosanthis Semen). Liver meridian, add Longdan Cao (Gentianae Radix), Ganju (Chrysanthemi Indici Flos), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix). For all sores/toxins with pain, only need Huisheng San (Life-Restoring Powder), add Liu Xian San (Six Immortals Powder), treat according to following six categories. Also used for external application on stubborn sores/malignant toxins turning to pus, and Yangmei Jiedu (Syphilitic toxins), regardless of new/old/shallow/deep, apply simultaneously for absolute safety.
