调卫和营，杜仲舒筋壮骨。定厥阴之风，全蝎有力。化痈疡之毒，白芷多功。细辛通窍散寒，松香祛风止痛，雄黄杀百
毒，独活搜伏风。更以穿山甲通行经络，直达病所。方中诸品无处不行，所以主治诸 ，效如桴鼓。

古代圣人使用的九针，已经失传很久了。现在偶尔有人使用，不仅不熟悉针刺技法，也不熟悉《明堂》（针灸穴位图谱）。至于灸法也是如此。现在采用银盏隔姜灸法，万无一失。凡是想要使用这种方法的人，必须按照这个样式制作器具：四周的银片稍厚，底部宜薄，并需钻穿几个孔，下面用四个足支撑，总高度约一分。将银盏的足钉在生姜片上，姜片上也钻几个孔，与银盏的孔相通，以便药气能够透入经络和脏腑。

The method for measuring the "cun" (unit of measurement) for acupoints: For males, use the left hand; for females, use the right hand. Take the second joint of the middle finger. When the finger is bent, the distance between the tips of the two creases constitutes one cun. This can be measured using a core of rice straw or a thin bamboo strip. If rope or thread is used, inaccuracies due to stretching or shrinking may occur.

The Nine Needles used by ancient sages have been lost for a long time. Those who occasionally use them nowadays are not only unfamiliar with needle techniques but also do not know the *Mingtang* (Acupuncture and Moxibustion Point Atlas). The same applies to moxibustion methods. Currently, the silver cup ginger-separated moxibustion method is adopted, which is foolproof. Anyone wishing to use this method must construct the device according to this pattern: the silver rim should be slightly thicker, while the bottom should be thin and perforated with several holes. It should stand on four feet, with a total height of approximately one fen. The feet of the silver cup are fixed onto a slice of fresh ginger. Several holes are also pierced in the ginger slice, aligning with the holes in the cup, so that the medicinal vapor can penetrate into the meridians and zang-fu organs.

Weigh the aforementioned herbs accurately, grind each into powder, mix, and form pills. Store tightly sealed to prevent leakage of volatile components.
Formula Analysis: Artemisiae Argyi Folium, when rubbed and pounded until soft like cotton, is called cooked mugwort (Shu Ai). Cooked mugwort has a hot nature and can circulate through the twelve meridians and traverse the three yin meridians. Using it for moxibustion can eliminate various diseases. Realgar possesses a purely yang nature and can rescue sudden collapse of yang qi and critical conditions. Myrrha and Olibanum facilitate circulation through the twelve meridians. Moschus and Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus open the upper and lower orifices. Aurantii Fructus breaks up all forms of qi stagnation, while Chuanxiong Rhizoma resolves all blood stasis. Cinnamomi Ramulus harmonizes defensive (Wei) and nutritive (Ying) qi, and Eucommiae Cortex relaxes tendons and strengthens bones. Scorpio is effective in settling wind from the Jueyin channel. Angelicae Dahuricae Radix has multiple functions in resolving toxicity from carbuncles and ulcers. Asari Radix et Rhizoma opens orifices and disperses cold; Colophonium dispels wind and relieves pain; Realgar kills various toxins; Peucedani Radix searches out latent wind pathogens. Furthermore, Manis Squama promotes circulation through the meridians and reaches the site of the disease directly. The ingredients in this formula act everywhere, thus treating various diseases with rapid efficacy, like an echo responding to a drum.
