* Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Semen Pulvis (Water Chestnut Powder) (2 liang), *Lao Yueshi* (Old Alum, 6 qian, processed with decoction of *Chuanlian*, i.e., *Coptidis Rhizoma*), *Xi Lvganshi* (Fine Calamina, 1 liang), *Bingpian* (Borneol, 3 qian).
Grind each into an extremely fine powder, mix evenly, and apply to the eyes.

* Wumei Rou (Meat of Mume Fruit, 7 qian), *Yazui Danfan* (Duck-bill Chalcanthite, 2 qian), *Chuanjiao* (Sichuan Pepper, de-seeded, 2 qian), *Mingfan* (Alum, 7 qian), *Qingyan* (Green Salt, 3 qian), *Bingpian* (Borneol, 1 qian), *Yinmian Xiaozhen* (Small needles wrapped in cotton, 3 pieces).
Soak in 14 liang of water for one month before use; the longer it is stored, the better, and it does not spoil.
