当归 川芎 木贼 天麻 干菊花 白蒺藜
黄连 本 羌活 独活 青葙子 褚实子 荆芥
苍术 甘草 夜明砂（各等分）
为末，炼蜜为丸指顶大。噙化，早晚各一服。一
日肿消，二日疼止，三日痊愈。
凡眼赤昏，少神采，必咽喉痰涎不利，尤宜清痰火。
五倍子一斤（打开去穣虫） 用真六安茶四两，熬浓
汁，浸半月后，看倍子上出白毛，倒出倍子，研如泥。
每倍子一两，加白硼砂二钱，真川贝母四钱，真柿霜
四钱，儿茶三钱，粉草三钱，乌梅二钱，薄荷二钱。
各为末极细，捣五倍子内，炼蜜为丸、元眼核大。每取
一丸噙化，立刻痰化、涎清、目明。点眼时噙化此药。
时眼害久，有浮翳，不敢点重药，用∶
细梨一枚，去核，入黄连末二钱，生白矾末一
钱，仍用梨盖，竹钉钉住，外以面饼包住，入干饭上
蒸三次，取出，去面，将梨捣烂，泞汁入碗内，露一
宿，任意点之，浮翳清火如神。
风烂眼皮及内外障，宜用∶
当归（酒洗） 没药（去油各二钱） 血竭 白丁香 硼
砂（火 ） 冰片 麝香 皮硝（马牙者佳） 乳香（去油各五分）
铜绿（一两五钱为衣） 川连（三钱）
共为末，黄连膏为丸，如芡实大。用一丸入茶
钟内，新汲水化开，不时洗。一丸可洗二十日，大
病不过一月，小病半月，烂眼、冷泪洗三日即效。泡
药水不可多，洗干再添水。
恶眼疼极，宜用∶

当归、川芎、木贼、天麻、干菊花、白蒺藜、黄连、藁本、羌活、独活、青葙子、楮实子、荆芥、苍术、甘草（各等分）。
研成细末，用炼蜜制成如手指顶端大小的药丸。含服化开，早晚各服用一次。第一天肿胀消退，第二天疼痛停止，第三天痊愈。
凡是眼睛发红昏花、缺乏神采，必然伴有咽喉痰涎不利，尤其适宜清化痰火。
五倍子一斤（打开去除内部的虫体），用真六安茶四两，熬制浓汁，浸泡半月后，观察五倍子上长出白毛，倒出五倍子，研磨成泥状。
每取五倍子一两，加入白硼砂二钱、真川贝母四钱、真柿霜四钱、儿茶三钱、粉草三钱、乌梅二钱、薄荷二钱。
各自研成极细粉末，捣入五倍子中，用炼蜜制成如龙眼核大小的药丸。每次取一丸含服化开，立刻痰消、涎清、目明。点眼药水时含服此药。
沙眼患病日久，有浮翳，不敢使用重药，采用：
细梨一枚，去核，放入黄连末二钱、生白矾末一钱，仍盖上梨盖，用竹钉钉住，外面用面饼包住，放入干饭上蒸三次，取出，去掉面皮，将梨捣烂，滤出汁液倒入碗内，露天放置一夜，任意滴眼，清除浮翳、降火效果神奇。
风邪引起的眼睑溃烂及内外障，适宜采用：
当归（酒洗）、没药（去油，各二钱）、血竭、白丁香、硼砂（火煅）、冰片、麝香、皮硝（马牙硝为佳）、乳香（去油，各五分）、铜绿（一两五钱作为外衣）、川连（三钱）。
共同研成细末，用黄连膏制成如芡实大小的药丸。取一丸放入茶盅内，用新汲取的清水化开，随时清洗。一丸可清洗二十日，大病不超过一个月，小病半个月，烂眼、冷泪清洗三日即见效。泡药水不可过多，洗干后再添水。
恶眼剧烈疼痛，适宜采用：

Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong), Muzei (Herba Equiseti Hiemalis), Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae), Gan Juhua (Flos Chrysanthemi Indici), Bai Jili (Fructus Tribuli), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis), Gaoben (Rhizoma Leonuri), Qianghuo (Rhizoma Notopterygii), Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis), Qingxiangzi (Semen Celosiae), Chushizi (Fructus Aucubae), Jingjie (Herba Schizonepetae), Cangzhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Lanceae), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis) (in equal parts).
Grind into fine powder, make pills with refined honey, sized like the tip of a finger. Hold in mouth to dissolve, take once in the morning and once in the evening. Swelling subsides on the first day, pain stops on the second day, and recovery is achieved on the third day.
Whenever the eyes are red and dim, lacking spirit, it is invariably accompanied by phlegm-fluid obstruction in the throat, making it especially suitable to clear phlegm-fire.
Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis), one jin (open and remove internal insects); use Zhen Liu'an Cha (True Liu'an Tea), four liang, boil to make a concentrated decoction, soak for half a month. After observing white mold growing on the Wubeizi, pour out the Galla Chinensis and grind into a paste.
For every one liang of Wubeizi, add Baibingsha (Borax), two qian; Zhen Chuanbeimu (True Fritillaria Cirrhosa Bulb), four qian; Zhen Shishuang (True Persimmon Frost), four qian; Ercha (Catechu), three qian; Fencacao (Licorice Root Powder), three qian; Wumei (Fructus Mume), two qian; Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), two qian.
Grind each into extremely fine powder, mix into the Wubeizi paste, make pills with refined honey, sized like a longan seed. Take one pill to hold in the mouth and dissolve at a time; immediately phlegm dissolves, saliva clears, and vision brightens. When applying eye drops, hold this medicine in the mouth.
For chronic trachoma with floating nebula, heavy medicines should not be used; instead, use:
One fine pear, remove the core, insert Huanglian powder, two qian, and raw Baifan powder, one qian. Replace the pear cap, secure with bamboo nails, wrap externally with dough, steam over dry rice for three times. Remove, discard the dough, mash the pear, filter the juice into a bowl, expose to air overnight, and apply to the eyes as desired. It clears floating nebula and reduces fire with miraculous effect.
For wind-induced eyelid ulceration and internal/external nebula, use:
Danggui (wine-washed), Moyao (Resina Olibani, de-oiled, two qian each), Xuexie (Sanguis Draconis), Baixingding (Excrementus Streptopeliae), Bingsha (Borax, calcined), Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum), Shexiang (Moschus), Pinxiao (Natrii Sulfas, horse-tooth variety is best), Ruxiang (Resina Olibani, de-oiled, five fen each), Tonglü (Chalcanthite, one liang five qian as coating), Chuanlian (Rhizoma Coptidis, three qian).
Grind all into fine powder, form pills with Huanglian Gao (Coptis Ointment), sized like an Indian corn seed. Place one pill in a teacup, dissolve with fresh water, and wash frequently. One pill can be used for twenty days; severe cases within one month, mild cases within half a month. Ulcerated eyes and cold tears respond effectively after three days of washing. Do not use too much soaking water; add more water when dry.
