用井水搅又晒至来日早再换新水搅如此法春五日夏三日秋七日冬十日去水晒干复如玉
以糯米粉煎粥清丸如绿豆大姜汤下二十丸如瘫痪温酒下小儿惊风薄荷汤三五丸治男妇
痪风痰壅盛呕吐涎沫及小儿惊风妇人血风
治疗中风痰湿壅盛，服用温热药物无效的患者。
天南星（六钱） 木香（不经过火炒二钱） 生姜（七片）
以上药材切碎作为一剂，加水两碗，煎至一碗，不限时间服用。
即在星香汤的基础上加入生川乌、生附子（各三钱），治疗突然中风昏迷不省人事、口眼歪斜、半身不遂、咽喉发出痰鸣声、痰气壅塞的症状。
无论外感风寒还是内伤喜怒，或者六脉沉伏或指下浮盛，都适宜服用。兼治痰厥、饮厥以及气虚眩晕，都有神效。
涎沫壅盛者加全蝎（三枚）。另一版本中，对于气虚之人去掉川乌和天南星，名为附香汤。
使用生天南星、生附子（去皮脐，各一两）、木香（五钱，不经过火炒）。每次服用四钱，生姜（九片），煎服，不限时间温服。
治疗各种中风，服用其他药物无效，患者顽痰日益增多，或者前证未解，或者增加困顿症状，服用此方应验。
使用天南星（八两）、防风（四两）、独活、附子、甘草均用生料，全蝎微炒各二两。切碎，每次服用四钱，水两碗，生姜（二十片），煎至八分，去渣温服。治疗中风痰厥、涎潮、昏晕、手足抽搐、半身不遂以及历节痛风、筋脉挛急。
使用天南星（一斤），先用三十斤炭火烧红一个地坑，去掉炭火，将五升酒倒入坑内，待酒干后，将天南星放入坑内，用盆覆盖，周围用灰密封，不要漏气。第二天取出研为细末，加入礞砂（二两）、琥珀（一两），分别研为细末混合均匀。用生姜汁打面糊制成梧桐子大小的丸药。每次服用三十至五十丸，用石菖蒲人参汤送下。治疗因惊吓导致心神不守、风涎潮作、手足抽掣、健忘等证候。
使用半夏用水浸泡洗净（七两）、天南星（三两）、白附子（二两）、川乌（半两，去皮脐）研为细末，装入生绢袋中，在井水中反复摆动清洗。如果还有未洗出的粉末，再用手揉出。如果有残渣，再次研磨后重新装入绢袋清洗，直到洗净为止。放置在瓷盆中，白天日晒夜晚露置。到时用井水搅拌，再晒。到第二天早晨再换新水搅拌。如此做法，春季五天，夏季三天，秋季七天，冬季十天。去掉水分晒干，恢复如玉般洁白。用糯米粉煎粥清制成绿豆大小的丸药。姜汤送下二十丸。如果是瘫痪，用温酒送下。小儿惊风用薄荷汤送下三五丸。治疗男女瘫痪、风痰壅盛、呕吐涎沫以及小儿惊风、妇人血风。
To treat stroke with excessive phlegm, where hot medicines are ineffective.

Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang, 生姜) [7 slices]
The above herbs are chopped into one dose, boiled in two cups of water until reduced to one cup, and taken at any time.
This is Xingxiang Tang (Star and Musk Decoction) plus Raw Aconitum Lateralis Preparatum (Chuanwu, 川乌) and Raw Aconitum Carminelae Preparatum (Fuzi, 附子) [3 qian each]. It treats sudden stroke with coma, loss of consciousness, deviation of the mouth and eyes, hemiplegia, gurgling sound in the throat due to phlegm, and obstruction of phlegm qi.
It is suitable regardless of external contraction of wind-cold or internal injury from anger and joy, whether the six pulses are deep and hidden or floating and vigorous under the fingers. It also treats Phlegm Jue (Phlegm Syncope), Fluid Jue (Fluid Syncope), and dizziness due to Qi deficiency, showing miraculous effects.
For those with excessive saliva/phlegm, add Scorpion (Quanxie, 全蝎) [3 pieces]. Another version removes Chuanwu and Nanxing for patients with Qi deficiency, named Fuxiang Tang (Aconite and Costus Decoction).
Use Raw Arisaema Cum Bile (Tian Nanxing, 天南星) and Raw Aconitum Carminelae Preparatum (Sheng Fuzi, 生附子) [peeled and navel removed, 1 liang each], Costus Root (Muxiang, 木香) [5 qian, not roasted over fire]. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang, 生姜) [9 slices], take warm at any time.
Treats various strokes where other medicines have failed, the patient's stubborn phlegm increases, previous symptoms persist, or fatigue worsens. This formula should be effective.
Use Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing, 天南星) [8 liang], Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng, 防风) [4 liang], Angelica Pubescens Root (Duhuo, 独活), Aconitum Carminelae Preparatum (Fuzi, 附子), Licorice Root (Gancao, 甘草) all raw; Scorpion (Quanxie, 全蝎) [lightly fried, 2 liang]. Chop finely. Take 4 qian per dose, boil in two cups of water with Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang, 生姜) [20 slices] until reduced to 80%, strain, and take warm. Treats stroke with Phlegm Jue (Phlegm Syncope), surging phlegm fluid, fainting/dizziness, convulsions of hands and feet, hemiplegia, as well as Li Jie Gout (Wandering Joint Gout) and tendon/muscle spasms.
Use Arisaema Cum Bile (Tian Nanxing, 天南星) [1 jin]. First, burn thirty jin of charcoal to redden a pit on the ground. Remove the charcoal, pour five sheng of wine into the pit, wait until the wine evaporates, then place the Arisaema in the pit. Cover with a basin and seal the surroundings with ash to prevent gas leakage. On the next day, take it out and grind into powder. Add Lei Meng Sha (Lithops Lapidis, 礞砂) [2 liang] and Amber (Hupo, 琥珀) [1 liang], grind separately into powder, and mix evenly. Make pills using ginger juice and wheat flour paste, sized like paulownia seeds. Take 30-50 pills per dose, delivered with Shichangpu Ginseng Decoction (Shi Changpu Renshen Tang, 石菖蒲人参汤). Treats conditions caused by fright leading to unsettled spirit, surging wind-phlegm, convulsions of hands and feet, and forgetfulness.
Use Pinellia Rhizome (Banxia, 半夏) [soaked and washed, 7 liang], Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing, 天南星) [3 liang], Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi, 白附子) [2 liang], Aconitum Carminelae Preparatum (Chuanwu, 川乌) [half liang, peeled and navel removed]. Grind into powder, place in a raw silk bag, and wash/swirl in well water. If residue remains, knead by hand to extract more. If sediment persists, re-grind and re-wash in the silk bag until clean. Place in a porcelain basin, sun-dry during the day and dew-expose at night. When ready, stir with well water, then dry again. Repeat this process: Spring 5 days, Summer 3 days, Autumn 7 days, Winter 10 days. Remove water, dry until white as jade. Form pills using glutinous rice porridge liquid, sized like mung beans. Take 20 pills with ginger soup. For paralysis, take with warm wine. For pediatric convulsions, take 3-5 pills with mint soup. Treats male and female paralysis, excessive wind-phlegm obstruction, vomiting of saliva/phlegm, pediatric convulsions, and women's blood wind.
