刘仙选择，如果人在夏天没有阴气，到了三伏天的时候，完全没有力气，精神恍惚，只想睡觉，睡一次不够，再睡也不……以如……茱萸……生枣……凡是十岁上下的儿童女子，天癸未到，也有患前面所述病症的，难道都是冬天不藏精的缘故吗？小儿最不注意忌口，……也……茯苓一钱，熟地三钱，北五味五分，麦冬一钱，白芍二钱，陈皮三分，山楂三粒，枳壳二分，人参五分。水煎服。一剂立刻痊愈，不必再服用。小儿纯阳之体，更容易见效，不像大人必须多服用。小儿最适合先服用一两剂，如果没有“注夏”的病，留心儿科的人应当考察这一点。

Qinfen (Calomel) 1 qian, Luobozzi (Radish Seed) 3 qian, Bingpian (Borneol) 0.5 fen, Xingren (Apricot Kernel, peeled and tip removed) 14 grains. Grind into powder.
Xu Daxian selects: If a person suffers from Xu Lao (Deficiency Consumption), with weakness in the four limbs, loss of appetite, palpitations and fright, after hemorrhage or excessive sweating, these symptoms do not necessarily have... Gui... Blood... of... Zhang Daxian said: The treatment method is very wonderful. I also select a prescription to preserve. Liu Xian selects: If a person lacks Yin energy in summer, arriving at the Sanfu period, having no strength at all, feeling vague and absent-minded, only desiring sleep, one sleep is insufficient, sleeping again does not... as if... For children and girls around ten years old, whose Tian Gui (menstrual essence/puberty) has not yet arrived, also suffering from the aforementioned symptoms, could it be solely due to failing to store Jing (Essence) in winter? Children are least cautious about dietary restrictions... also... Fuling (Poria) 1 qian, Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root) 3 qian, Bei Wuwei (Schisandra Berry) 0.5 fen, Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber) 1 qian, Baishao (White Peony Root) 2 qian, Chenpi (Tangerine Peel) 0.3 fen, Shanzha (Hawthorn Fruit) 3 grains, Zhiqiao (Aurantium Fructus) 0.2 fen, Renshen (Ginseng Root) 0.5 fen. Decoct in water and take orally. One dose leads to immediate cure, no need to take more. Children possess Pure Yang constitution, making it easier to achieve efficacy, unlike adults who must take multiple doses. Children are best served by taking one or two doses first; if there is no "Zhu Xia" (Summer Lethargy) disease, those attentive to pediatrics should observe this.
Lü Zu selects: If treating the Fire of Yangming, then the Fire of the Five Zang organs and the Fire of the Six Fu organs will be no difficult to treat. Yangming is originally Stomach Earth, how can there be Fire? Xinliang (Acrid-Cool)... Bu zhi... Observe the fire intensity... Shen (Ginseng) 3 qian... Only then can release... To urgently rescue... If there is no sweat but thirst, it is clearly Kidney Excess Fire, while Kidney Water is insufficient; using this may damage Kidney Water! Should use: Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root) 3 liang, Shanzhuyu (Cornus Fruit) 2... Ye. For the remaining Heart Fire, use Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome); Liver Fire, use Zhizi (Gardenia Fruit); Lung Fire, use Huangqin (Scutellaria Root). These were all stated before, medicines will not be repeated.
