The Yin Qiao Mai (Yin Heel Vessel) originates at the Ran Gu point (KI2), ascends through the Zhao Hai (KI6), Jiao Xin (KI8), and Lie Que (LU7) points. It originally belongs to the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian and connects with the Jing Ming point (BL1) of the Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian.
The Yin Qiao Mai is a divergent branch of the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian.
Ran Gu (KI2): Located on the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, in the depression anterior to the large bone below the medial malleolus.
Zhao Hai (KI6): One cun inferior to the Ran Gu point along the medial aspect of the ankle.
Jiao Xin (KI8): Descending from the Zhao Hai point, passing through the Tai Xi point (KI3), and located two cun superior to the medial malleolus on a vertical line. From Jiao Xin, it ascends along the medial thigh into the yin region.
Continuing upward, it passes through the interior of the chest, enters the Que Pen (supraclavicular fossa), emerges anterior to the Ying Cheng point (ST9), enters beside the nose, and converges at the Jing Ming point (BL1) in the inner canthus. It joins with the Yang Qiao Mai (Yang Heel Vessel). The yang qi ascends, circulating together and mutually returning, thereby fulfilling the function of moistening the eyes.

The Yang Wei Mai (Yang Linking Vessel) originates at the Jin Men point (BL63), then proceeds through Shen Mai (BL62), Tian Zhu (BL10), Jian Jing (GB21), Shen Ben Shen (likely referring to Ben Shen GB13 or similar, text says "Shen Ben Shen"), Yang Bai (GB14), Lin Qi (GB14/Zulinqi), Zheng Ying (GB17), Nao Kong (GB18), Feng Chi (GB20), and patrols through Feng Fu (GV16) and Ya Men (GV15). These two points are located posterior to the neck, entering the hairline, which serves as the root of the Yang Wei Mai.
[Diagram of Yang Wei Points]
Jin Men (BL63): A point of the Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian, located one cun inferior to the lateral malleolus.
Yang Jiao (GB35): From Jin Men, it travels along the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, located seven cun superior to the lateral malleolus.
Yu Shu (Note: Text implies a shoulder point where meridians intersect): Intersects with the Hand and Foot Taiyang Meridians and the Qiao Mai vessels at the lower border of the scapula, beneath the greater tubercle of the humerus/posterior shoulder.
Tian Rong/Tian Chuang (Note: Text omits second character, describes intersection with Shaoyang at Que Pen): Intersects with the Hand and Foot Shaoyang Meridians in the Que Pen (supraclavicular fossa), ascending to the supraclavicular ridge.
Jian Jing (GB21): Converges with other meridians in the depression on top of the shoulder.
Yang Bai (GB14): Ascends from Jian Jing to the head, intersecting with the Foot Shaoyang Meridian one cun above the eyebrow.
Ben Shen (GB13) and Zu Lin Qi (GB41): These two points ascend from Yang Bai to above the eye, directly entering the hairline.
Zheng Ying (GB17): Two cun superior to Lin Qi.
Nao Kong (GB18): From Zheng Ying, follows to the suboccipital region.
Feng Chi (GB20): Descends from Nao Kong to the lateral edge of the large tendon behind the ear.
Feng Fu (GV16) and Ya Men (GV15): These two points intersect with the Du Mai (Governing Vessel) posterior to the neck.
The points of the Yin Wei Mai (Yin Linking Vessel) begin at Zhu Bin (KI9), Fu She (SP13), Da Heng (SP15), and Fu Ai (SP16), proceeding through Qi Men (LR14), Tian Tu (CV22), Lian Quan (CV23), and the tongue base. This constitutes the pathway of the Yin Wei Mai linking the yin.
Zhu Bin (KI9): Located on the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, five fen superior and posterior to the medial malleolus.
Fu She (SP13): Intersects with the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian in the lower abdomen, three and a half cun lateral to the midline of the abdomen.
Da Heng (SP15): Level with the umbilicus, three and a half cun lateral to the midline.
Fu Ai (SP16): Ascends to below the breast, two cun inferior to the end of the second rib.
Qi Men (LR14): Intersects again with the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian at the end of the second rib below the breast.
Tian Tu (CV22): Intersects with the Ren Mai (Conception Vessel) one cun inferior to the laryngeal prominence, in the central depression.
Lian Quan (CV23): Ascends from Tian Tu, located centrally below the chin, superior to the larynx, and inferior to the tongue base.
