右为末。每服二钱，水一盏煎至七分，去滓，食后临卧温眼。小儿一服分作二服，更斟酌与之。此方得某一晶之家，其间用犀角一味，甚有道理，百发百中。子族中有一仆，牙宣口臭，牙齿渐至颓落。予与二服，立愈。服之
无不效者。《本事方前集》所未载此数方，缘得之不易。今不欲为之已有，不能广利一切，谨附此，与众共之，明医者必叹赏。
又方解一切暑毒欲死者，使服之立苏。
半夏四两，醋一升半，煮尽醋焙干甘草一两桂半两赤茯苓二两白茯苓一两右为末，用生姜汁作面糊为圆，如○大。
每服五十圆，热水下。予夏月登途，尝备此药于箧笥中，诸缓急及仆价门，每日一服，终无伏暑之疾，奇验不一。
治诸风等疾
治八般头风
草乌尖细辛等分黄丹少许
右为细末，苇管搐入鼻中，立效。
治偏头风(王荆方云：禁中秘方)
右用好萝卜自然汁一蝉壳样，患人仰卧，右疼注左，左疼注右，或两边皆疼皆注之。虽十年患者亦效。王荆公患十二年，用之立效。后医数人，皆愈。
治头痛及脑风神砂圆
盐硫黄各等分
右为末，水调生面为圆，如梧桐子大。每服十五圆，用薄荷茶食前下。荆芥酒亦得。
又方定头疼
杨梅青硝石地龙各等分(道按：杨梅青即空青无水者)
右为细末，搐鼻立效。上件四方得自至人，累试有验。余乡间有富室就余传此方，修合施人。
治偏正头风，夹脑风，并一切头风，不问年深日近，克日取效，名透顶散
细辛长白者，三茎瓜蒂七个丁香三粒糯米七粒脑子一豆大麝香一黑豆大
右先将脑、麝乳钵内研，令极细。却将前四味碾内，事治为末，入乳钵内，荡起脑麝令匀。用瓦罐子盛之，坚闭瓶口。患人随左右搐之一大豆许量，久出冷涎一升许，即安。
清头风，去风邪，顺真气
羌活僵蚕各-两白蒺藜去尖炙一两甘菊一两白附子一两朱砂一两麝香一两
右为细末，每服一钱，薄荷茶酒任意调下。
治丈夫、妇人风虚头疼，气虚头疼，妇人胎前产后伤风头疼，一切头疼并皆治之。
茵陈五两麻黄石膏煅留性各二两
右为末，每服一钱，脑茶下，食后服。服毕仰卧。
治风屑极燥无时此乃气虚风侵，邪于皮表而生焉，须此药治之甚妙。
藜芦根
右一味，不拘多少，为末。先洗头，须避风，最好候未至十分干时，用药掺定。须用药末入发至皮，方得紧缚之两日夜，次日全无，亦不燥痒。如尚有些少，可再用一次，立效。
又方香白芷零陵香各等分
右为末，如前法用之。候三五日后篦去，再付三二次，终世不生。
治头风荆芥散(王大医方)
荆芥石膏各等分,煅右为细末，每服二钱，姜三片，葱白三寸和须，使水一盏，同煎至七分，食后服。
治偏头风方
猪牙皂角去皮筋香白芷白附子各等分
右为末，每服一钱，腊茶下。右疼右侧卧，左疼左侧卧，两边皆疼仰卧，食后服。
治急中风，口闭涎上欲垂死者。一服即瘥
江子二粒，去皮膜白矾一块，如大拇指大，末之(按：江子即巴豆)
右二味，于新瓦上煅，令江子焦赤为度。为末，炼蜜丸如鸡头大，每服一圆，用绵裹于患人口中，近喉，如良久吐痰，立效。
治头风，头晕目旋，太阳穴痛，不思饮食。
藿香茯苓香附子各一两
右为末，每服二钱，茶清调下，日三服。
清头目，避风岚气
苍术四两荆芥甘草各一两
右三味为细末，每服一大钱，沸汤点，早晨服。凡入烟瘴之地，宜修合随行。余昔入广，合合一剂，每日一服，及归不染瘴。而至仆价门亦尝与之，无染瘴疾者，又况能清头目，效验多端。
治大人小儿惊风退热取涎牛黄散
朱砂一钱麝香一字脑子真者，半两水银一钱牛黄一字狗黄椬雄黄一字令
香半两(道按：狗黄即狗宝，令香即零陵香。)
右为末，将前四味为末，顿处，后四味末
放一处，临时和匀，每服一字或半钱，薄荷汤入金银箔同调下。如用取涎，入江子二粒去油，药二钱，和匀可服半字，薄荷茶清调下，量大小虚实加减与之。
生津液玉液膏
紫苏四两板桂半两甘草白梅肉各二两
右，将上三味为末，捣白梅肉为圆，如鸡头大，每服含化三圆。
治一切头疼
防风川芎各一两附子七钱，重者一个，炮，去皮脐
右为末，每服一字，荆芥薄荷茶调下。
治伤寒头疼并太阳头疼及一切头风
川乌炮草乌各半两麻黄一两半川芎防风羌活土龙去土全蝎十个雄黄三钱
右为末，每服半钱，食后清茶调下。
又方川芎一两细辛半两香附子羌活苍术各一两薄荷二两甘草三钱白芷二两甘菊一两荆芥二十文茵陈五文
右为末，每服二钱，茶清调下。妇人产后伤风头疼，用当归末、石膏末同调下。
头风方
香附子一斤，炒赤乌头一两，炒赤甘草二十文
右为末，炼蜜，圆如弹子大，每服一圆，葱茶嚼下。
治缠喉风
白矾半钱乌鸡子清
右二味调匀，灌入喉内，立效如神。此方活人不记数，幸勿忽。
治中风手脚不遂，此方甚妙
穿山甲二两川乌头二两红海粉一两
右为末，每服半两，用生葱自然汁调成膏，厚作饼子，约径寸半阔。左患贴左脚，右患贴右脚。贴在足掌心内，用旧绢片紧扎，定于密房中无风处椅子上陲。用汤一盆，将有药脚浸于汤中，用小心人扶病人。若汗出，即急去了药。出汗遍身，麻木即轻减，渐至无事，此妙不可言。
治大风神效追命散
川大黄皂角刺各半斤川郁金五两
右三味为细末，每服三大钱，用真大枫油入无灰酒，温，调药末，临睡时服。脏腑转时只就地上取下虫。如疾多年其虫色黑，日近者其虫色赤。隔三两日再服，直候无虫，方是病瘥。即止其药，只服平常风药及诸补药，此药大有奇效，下药切不可许病人知，恐虫藏匿则病难愈。六十日内，用清斋，戒房色，歇却一切俗念，亦不可嗔怒，常净口念阿弥陀佛及救苦难观世音菩萨，遍数百万声最好。缘此疾乃业障果报，若用药医得病可之，后恐促其寿，故用念佛忏悔。伏幸听信斯言，至祝。
治风解毒雄黄救命散
雄黄二钱重川郁金二钱重巴豆四十粒，去油
右为细末，用醋糊为圆，如绿豆大。每服三圆至五圆，茶清冷下。治病于后：治缠喉风，走马风，喉闭，卒中仆地失音以至牙关紧急，不知人事，每服七圆，热灌茶下。甚者不过二服，吐涎立苏。有至死者，但心头暖，用铁物抑开口，之药咽喉，无不活者。或吐或泻，些少不妨。或上膈壅肿，并宜服之。小儿惊风，量太少加减与之。
治一切风中及左瘫右痪口眼㖞邪一切风疾
皂角三茎，刮去黑皮并于。一茎酒浸，一茎烧留性，一茎炙薄荷三两黑牵牛三两何首乌十二两
右先将皂角为末，入水得其中，熬成膏，却入后三味，捣一二千杵为圆，如梧桐子大。每服二十圆，茶酒任下。

右叹咀，每服三钱，水一盏，乌梅一个，荆芥少许，同煎至七分，温空心服。如腹中冷痛不止者，加阿胶二片同煎，立效。
治妇人室女血气刺痛不可忍、夜叫唤、可怜者一服见效
云台子肉桂良姜没药各等分
右干焙为末，每服二钱，乳香酒调下，热服，不拘时候。
和气散治丈夫、妇人一切气疾他不瘳者
甘草炙半两白芨一两地骨皮一两藿香半两山蜈蚣一两白芷一两红内消半两木香半两山慈姑一两(红内消即何首乌)
右焙为末，每服二大钱，空心盐汤点服。余乡曲有一老医数世习医，凡妇人气疾唯凭此药，百发百中。家有十口，只以此药养家。
治小肠气痛不可忍者
乌药捣研，好旧酒浸一宿高良姜茴香舶上者，三味各一两青皮二两
有为末，每服二钱，遇发时热酒调下。
又方杏仁一两葱白和枨捣焙干，半两舶上茴香一两
右为末，每服三大钱，空心温胡桃酒调下。
治膀胱气
青矾一两白矾一两
右用小瓦罐子一只入药于罐内。用麻皮缚紧，盐泥如法坚牢固济，炭五斤煅令通红，尽炭为度。取出入地穴内，去火毒二宿。为末，酷糊为圆，如绿豆大。每服十圆，空心盐汤下，或白汤亦好。
治疝气
官桂半两蛇床子一西半柴胡细串白芷各二两
右（口父）咀，每服五大钱，水二升，葱白和须二茎，椒五十粒，同煎至七分。于瓶口上薰合，微汗出，再暖通手，洗。妇人带下赤白，薰之亦效(妇人用可加紫苏一握)。
又方大蒜三个韭菜一握鲜菜一握(道按：鲜菜即生莱用菘叶)
右用大砂瓶内煎令百沸，乘热薰之，候入得手则洗之，如冷则再暖，日三次，立效。
治痰气立效散
川芎川栋子青皮舶上茴香桃仁黑牵牛已上各一两，焙
右焙干为细末，每服二钱，无灰酒一盏，煎至八分盏，温服。
灸法：治肾气外肾肿，小肠气痛，腹内虚鸣
灸风市穴五七壮，灸气海穴七壮，灸脐左右，各去一寸半，两穴各七壮。
右，予曾患此疾，灸之立效，后来不发，甚妙。
治液气
夜明砂不拘多少，为末
右用豉汁调涂，立效。
又方铜青米醋调成膏。
右，先净洗腋下，用轻粉掺过，却使上件膏涂之，立效。
又方腻粉明矾红丹各等分
右为末，临睡时抹之佳。可使半月日去根。
治小肠寒方
枳壳一两舶上茴香一两
右为末，每服三钱，临发时空心热酒调下。
又方木香一两天南星半两良姜半两，与夭南同用麸炒，令赤色
右为末，每服二钱，水无灰酒一盏，煎三两沸，空心服。此二方曾医生专修合，货卖供五口。
治小肠气痛撞腹面青唇黑欲死者
木香茵陈芫花甘遂各等分
右件为末，每服二钱，水一盏煎至七分，
去滓温服。服此药后，应犯甘草药皆不得哝，恐与甘遂相反故也，其药甚妙。缘处方者有理，屡有效验。
又方川楝子茴香川乌炮破故纸各等分，各炒，令黄色
右焙干为末，酒糊为圆，如梧桐子大。每服二十圆，盐汤温酒任下。忌生冷、动气、一切毒物。
治远年小肠气众医不瘩者
硫黄舶上茴香炒令黄，不可犯钢铁器，各等分
右为末，每服五钱，用热酒调，空心温服，永除根本。
治膀胱气金莲散
巴豆一百粒川楝子二十四个，汤浸去薄皮，切作片子
右二味用麸二升同炒，令黄赤。去麸与巴豆不用，只将川栋子一味为末。每服三钱，温
酒调，空心下。余阅古今一切名方，无如此方奇特效。
治诸腰痛等患
治腰痛疼用转下脓水黑牵牛白术各一分桑白皮一两木通半两
右为细末，每服三钱，茶清调下，四更时服，转了粥补。
又方治久患腰痛
石甜瓜一两附子炮了，半两冬瓜皮半西槟榔木香乌药各半两
右为细末，每服一大钱，温酒调下，临睡服。此日只午后申时先吃了晚饭，申时当后不得吃食，专候临卧时服药。
治腰脚筋骨疼软无力酒浸牛膝圆
牛膝三两，炙黄川椒半两附子一个，十钱重者，炮去皮脐
左叹咀，用生绢作袋子，袋盛，缝结其袋口。用无灰酒一斗，春秋浸十四日，夏浸七日，冬浸十日。每日空心饮一大盏，候饮尽酒后，出药为末，醋糊为丸。每服二十丸，空心温酒盐任下，忌动风等物。
治五般腰疼
巴豆五个，每个用湿纸裹煨令熟，去壳取肉，去油，只使半出油半微去油五灵月旨半两，炮黑牵牛瓦上炒白牵牛同，各三钱重狗脊半丙萆藓三钱重没药三十文胡桃两个，取肉研为膏
右件为末，将前胡桃膏入醋糊为圆，如梧桐子大。每服十五圆。风腰痛，豆淋无灰酒下。气腰疼，煨葱白酒下。败精腰痛，茴香酒下。失血腰疼，当归酒下。打扑腰疼，苏木酒下。
又方治五种腰疼
狗脊萆薢菟丝子各二两，酒浸，焙干，别研
右为细末，炼蜜如此○大。每服三十圆，用萆薢二两，浸酒三日，取酒服药，空心食前服。
又方治遍身皆痛，如劳证者。伤寒身体疼者，不可服。但少年虚损冷惫、老人诸疾，并皆治之。
黄芪人参甘草附子炮羌活木香知母芍药川芎前胡积壳桔梗白术当归茯苓半夏各半两柴胡鳖甲各一两桂心酸枣仁各一分杏仁半两
右为末。每服一二钱，水二盏姜三片，枣子三枚，乌梅三个，葱白三寸，同煎至七分，空心温服。
异功散治妇人血冷气痛，心胸烦闷，不思饮食，四肢无力，头目昏疼，寒热往来，状似劳倦，并皆治之。
牡丹芍药白芷干姜已上各三钱当归陈皮官桂乌药玄胡索川芎苦梗已上各半西
右为末，每服二钱，生姜三片，酒水各半盏，煎至七分，温服。初生时宜服此药，每日三服，七日后渐减服数，至十日满，永无疾病。服后些少腹痛不妨事，勿嘈（口替）。
治诸脾胃等疾
开胃进食丁香汤
藿香半两巴豆二十粒丁香四十九粒粟米一合
右先将粟米、巴豆肉同炒，令赤色，去巴豆不用。只使粟米与丁香，藿香同研为末。每服二钱，米饮调下。
将上述药材研成细末。每次服用二钱，加水一盏煎至七分，滤去药渣，饭后及临睡前温服。小儿每次用量分作两次服用，需根据情况斟酌调整给予。此方得自某位精通医术之人的家族，其中使用犀角一味药，非常有道理，百发百中。我同族中有一个仆人，患有牙宣（牙龈萎缩出血）且口臭，牙齿逐渐松动脱落。我给他服用两剂，立刻痊愈。服用此方没有不有效的。《本事方前集》未记载这几个方子，因为得来不易。如今我不愿独占，不能广泛利益众人，特此附在此处，与众人共享，明理的医生必定会赞叹欣赏。
另一个方子能解一切暑热毒邪导致的垂死重症，让患者服用后立刻苏醒。
半夏四两，醋一升半，煮干醋后焙干；甘草一两；桂枝半两；赤茯苓二两；白茯苓一两。以上药材研成细末，用生姜汁调和面糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用五十丸，热水送服。我在夏天赶路时，常将此药备在箱箧中，无论是自己还是仆从、门客，每天服用一次，始终没有患上伏暑之疾，效果奇特显著，不一而足。
治疗各种风症等疾病
治疗八种头风
草乌尖、细辛等分，黄丹少许。以上药材研成极细末，用苇管吹入鼻中，立刻见效。
治疗偏头痛（王荆公方云：宫廷秘方）
取新鲜萝卜自然汁约蝉壳大小量，患者仰卧，右侧疼痛注药左侧鼻孔，左侧疼痛注药右侧鼻孔，或两侧都痛则两侧都注药。即使是患病十年的患者也有效。王荆公患病十二年，使用后立刻见效。后来几位医生也用此法治愈了患者。
治疗头痛及脑风的神砂丸
盐硫黄各等分。以上药材研成细末，用水调生面粉制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用十五丸，饭前用薄荷茶送下。用荆芥酒送下也可以。
另一个方子定头疼
杨梅青、硝石、地龙各等分。（按：杨梅青即无水空青）以上药材研成细末，吹入鼻中立刻见效。以上四个方子得自高人，多次试用都有验证。我乡间有一位富户向我求传此方，配制后施舍给人治病。
治疗偏正头风、夹脑风以及一切头风，不论病程长短，限期见效，名为透顶散
细辛（长白者最佳）三茎，瓜蒂七个，丁香三粒，糯米七粒，脑子（冰片）如豆大，麝香如黑豆大。先将脑子、麝香在乳钵内研磨至极细，再将前四味药材碾碎成末，放入乳钵中与脑、麝香混合均匀。用瓦罐盛装，严密封闭瓶口。患者随左右侧鼻孔搐入如大豆许量的药粉，久则流出冷涎约一升，即可安愈。
清头风，祛风邪，顺真气
羌活、僵蚕各一两，白蒺藜（去尖，炙）一两，甘菊一两，白附子一两，朱砂一两，麝香一两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用一钱，用薄荷茶或酒任意调服。
治疗男子、妇人因风虚引起的头痛，气虚引起的头痛，妇女胎前产后伤风引起的头痛，一切头痛皆治。
茵陈五两，麻黄、石膏（煅制保留药性）各二两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用一钱，用脑茶送下，饭后服用。服完后仰卧。
治疗风屑极多、干燥无时的症状，这是气虚受风侵袭，邪气在皮表产生所致，需用此药治疗非常巧妙。
藜芦根。以上一味药，不拘多少，研成细末。先洗头，必须避风，最好在头发未完全干时，用药末掺入头发直至接触头皮，紧紧束缚两三天，第二天就完全没有了，也不会干燥发痒。如果还有些许残留，可再用一次，立刻见效。
另一个方子：香白芷、零陵香各等分。以上药材研成细末，按前述方法使用。等候三五日后用篦子梳去，再敷三四次，终身不再发生。
治疗头风的荆芥散（王大医方）
荆芥、石膏各等分，石膏需煅制。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，加生姜三片、葱白三寸连须，水一盏，同煎至七分，饭后服用。
治疗偏头风方
猪牙皂角（去皮筋）、香白芷、白附子各等分。以上药材研成细末，每次服用一钱，用腊茶送下。右侧疼痛右侧卧，左侧疼痛左侧卧，两侧都痛仰卧，饭后服用。
治疗急中风，口闭流涎欲死者。服用一剂即愈
江子（巴豆）二粒，去皮膜；白矾一块，如大拇指大，研末。（按：江子即巴豆）以上两味药，在新瓦上煅烧，令江子焦红为度。研成细末，炼蜜制成如鸡头大的丸药。每次服用一丸，用棉布包裹置于患者口中，靠近喉咙，若良久吐出痰液，立刻见效。
治疗头风，头晕目眩，太阳穴痛，不思饮食。
藿香、茯苓、香附子各一两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，用茶清调下，每日三次服用。
清头目，避风岚气
苍术四两，荆芥、甘草各一两。以上三味药研成细末，每次服用一大钱，用沸水冲泡，早晨服用。凡是进入烟瘴之地，宜配制随身携带。我以前进入广东，配制了一剂，每天服用一次，归来时未染瘴气。至于仆从门客也曾给他们服用，无人染上瘴疾，更何况还能清头目，效验多方面。
治疗大人小儿惊风退热取涎的牛黄散
朱砂一钱，麝香一字，脑子（真品）半两，水银一钱，牛黄一字，狗黄（狗宝），雄黄一字，令香（零陵香）半两。（道按：狗黄即狗宝，令香即零陵香。）以上药材研成细末，将前四味药研成细末，放在一起，后四味药也研成末放在一处，临时混合均匀。每次服用一字或半钱，用薄荷汤加入金银箔一同调服。如需取涎，加入江子二粒去油，药二钱，混合均匀可服用半字，用薄荷茶清调下，根据患者大小虚实加减剂量给予。
生津液的玉液膏
紫苏四两，板桂半两，甘草、白梅肉各二两。以上药材，将前三味研成细末，捣白梅肉制成丸药，如鸡头大。每次含化三丸。
治疗一切头疼
防风、川芎各一两，附子七钱，重症者一个，炮制，去皮脐。以上药材研成细末，每次服用一字，用荆芥薄荷茶调下。
治疗伤寒头疼并太阳头疼及一切头风
川乌（炮）、草乌各半两，麻黄一两半，川芎、防风、羌活、土龙（去土）、全蝎十个，雄黄三钱。以上药材研成细末，每次服用半钱，饭后用清茶调下。
另一个方子：川芎一两，细辛半两，香附子、羌活、苍术各一两，薄荷二两，甘草三钱，白芷二两，甘菊一两，荆芥二十文，茵陈五文。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，用茶清调下。妇人产后伤风头疼，用当归末、石膏末同调下。
头风方
香附子一斤，炒至赤色；乌头一两，炒至赤色；甘草二十文。以上药材研成细末，炼蜜制成如弹子大的丸药。每次服用一丸，嚼碎后用葱茶送下。
治疗缠喉风
白矾半钱，乌鸡子清。以上两味药调匀，灌入喉内，立刻见效如神。此方救活的人不计其数，切勿轻视。
治疗中风手脚不遂，此方甚妙
穿山甲二两，川乌头二两，红海粉一两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用半两，用生葱自然汁调成膏，厚做成饼状，直径约一寸半宽。左侧患病贴左脚，右侧患病贴右脚。贴在足掌心内，用旧绢片紧紧扎住，固定在密室无风处的椅子上。准备一盆热水，将有药的脚浸在汤中，由小心的人搀扶病人。若出汗，立即去掉药饼。出汗遍身，麻木减轻，逐渐恢复正常，此妙不可言。
治疗大风神效追命散
川大黄、皂角刺各半斤，川郁金五两。以上三味药研成细末，每次服用三大钱，用真大枫油加入无灰酒，温热后调服药末，临睡时服用。脏腑转动时只在地上取下虫子。如果疾病多年，虫子颜色黑，近日患病的虫子颜色红。隔两三天再服用，直到没有虫子排出，才是病愈。此时停止此药，只服用平常的风药及补药，此药大有奇效。下药切不可让病人知道，恐怕虫子藏匿则病难愈。六十日内，吃清斋，戒房事，摒弃一切俗念，也不可嗔怒，常净口念阿弥陀佛及救苦难观世音菩萨，遍数百万声最好。因为此疾乃是业障果报，若用药医得好病，恐怕缩短寿命，故用念佛忏悔。希望听信此言，至为祝愿。
治疗风解毒雄黄救命散
雄黄二钱重，川郁金二钱重，巴豆四十粒，去油。以上药材研成细末，用醋糊制成如绿豆大的丸药。每次服用三丸至五丸，用茶清冷服。治病后记：治疗缠喉风，走马风，喉闭，卒中仆地失音以至牙关紧急，不知人事，每次服用七丸，热茶灌下。严重的不过两剂，吐涎立刻苏醒。有至死的，只要心头还暖，用铁物撬开嘴巴，将药灌入咽喉，无不救活的。或者呕吐或者腹泻，稍微有点不妨碍。或者上膈壅肿，都适宜服用。小儿惊风，根据情况少量加减给予。
治疗一切风中及左瘫右痪、口眼歪斜的一切风疾
皂角三茎，刮去黑皮并切碎。一茎酒浸，一茎烧存性，一茎炙。薄荷三两，黑牵牛三两，何首乌十二两。先将皂角研成末，入水中适量，熬成膏，再加入后三味药，捣一二千杵制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用二十丸，茶酒任下。

治疗妇人血气刺痛、大小腹痛并血脉不调，走疰疼痛皆治之
川当归、白芍药各二两，香附子半斤，山慈姑三两，熟地黄二两，甘草一两。以上药材切碎，每次服用三钱，加水一盏，乌梅一个，荆芥少许，同煎至七分，空腹温服。如果腹中冷痛不止，加阿胶二片同煎，立刻见效。
治疗妇人室女血气刺痛不可忍、夜间叫唤、可怜者，一服见效
云台子、肉桂、良姜、没药各等分。以上药材干焙研成细末，每次服用二钱，用乳香酒调下，热服，不拘时候。
和气散治疗男子、妇人一切气疾其他药无效者
甘草（炙）半两，白芨一两，地骨皮一两，藿香半两，山蜈蚣一两，白芷一两，红内消（何首乌）半两，木香半两，山慈姑一两。以上药材焙干研成细末，每次服用两大钱，空腹用盐汤点服。我乡间有一位老医生几代行医，凡妇人气疾唯凭此药，百发百中。家有十口，只靠此药养家。
治疗小肠气痛不可忍者
乌药捣研，好旧酒浸泡一夜；高良姜、茴香（舶上者），这三味各一两；青皮二两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，发作时用热酒调下。
另一个方子：杏仁一两，葱白和枨捣碎焙干，半两；舶上茴香一两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用三大钱，空腹用温胡桃酒调下。
治疗膀胱气
青矾一两，白矾一两。以上用小瓦罐一只，将药放入罐内。用麻皮缚紧，用盐泥依法坚固密封，用炭五斤煅烧至通红，烧尽炭为止。取出埋入地穴内，去除火毒两天。研成细末，醋糊制成如绿豆大的丸药。每次服用十丸，空腹用盐汤送下，或用白开水也可。
治疗疝气
官桂半两，蛇床子一两，半柴胡、细串白芷各二两。以上药材切碎，每次服用五大钱，水二升，葱白连须二茎，花椒五十粒，同煎至七分。在瓶口上熏蒸，微汗出后，再暖通手清洗。妇人带下赤白，熏蒸也有效（妇人用可加紫苏一把）。
另一个方子：大蒜三个，韭菜一把，鲜菘菜一把。（道按：鲜菜即生菜用菘叶）以上在大砂瓶内煎至沸腾，乘热熏蒸，等到手能忍受时清洗，如冷则再加热，每日三次，立刻见效。
治疗痰气立效散
川芎、川楝子、青皮、舶上茴香、桃仁、黑牵牛，以上各一两，焙干。以上药材焙干研成细末，每次服用二钱，用无灰酒一盏，煎至八分盏，温服。
灸法：治疗肾气外肾肿，小肠气痛，腹内虚鸣
灸风市穴五七壮，灸气海穴七壮，灸脐左右，各距一寸半，两穴各七壮。以上，我曾患此疾，灸后立刻见效，后来不再发作，甚妙。
治疗液气
夜明砂不拘多少，研成细末。以上用豉汁调涂，立刻见效。
另一个方子：铜青用米醋调成膏。以上先洗净腋下，用轻粉撒过，再涂上上述药膏，立刻见效。
另一个方子：腻粉、明矾、红丹各等分。以上研成细末，临睡时涂抹佳。可使半月日去根。
治疗小肠寒方
枳壳一两，舶上茴香一两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用三钱，发作时空腹用热酒调下。
另一个方子：木香一两，天南星半两，良姜半两，与天南星同用麸炒至赤色。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，水无灰酒一盏，煎三沸，空腹服用。这两个方子曾医生专门配制，售卖供养五口之家。
治疗小肠气痛撞击腹部面色青唇黑欲死者
木香、茵陈、芫花、甘遂各等分。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，水一盏煎至七分，滤去药渣温服。服用此药后，应忌食甘草类药物，恐怕与甘遂相反，故此药甚妙。因为处方者有理，屡有效验。
另一个方子：川楝子、茴香、川乌（炮）、破故纸各等分，各炒至黄色。以上焙干研成细末，酒糊制成如梧桐子大的丸药。每次服用二十丸，盐汤或温酒任下。忌生冷、动气、一切毒物。
治疗远年小肠气众医不愈者
硫黄、舶上茴香（炒令黄，不可犯钢铁器），各等分。以上药材研成细末，每次服用五钱，用热酒调服，空腹温服，永除根本。
治疗膀胱气金莲散
巴豆一百粒，川楝子二十四个，汤浸去薄皮，切作片子。以上两味药用麸二升同炒，令黄赤。去麸与巴豆不用，只用川楝子一味研成细末。每次服用三钱，温酒调服，空腹下。我阅古今一切名方，无如此方奇特效。
治疗诸腰痛等患
治疗腰痛疼用转下脓水：黑牵牛、白术各一分，桑白皮一两，木通半两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用三钱，茶清调下，四更时服用，转泻后喝粥补益。
另一个方子治疗久患腰痛
石甜瓜一两，附子（炮）半两，冬瓜皮半两，槟榔、木香、乌药各半两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用一大钱，温酒调下，临睡服用。这一天只在午后申时先吃了晚饭，申时以后不得进食，专候临卧时服药。
治疗腰脚筋骨疼软无力酒浸牛膝丸
牛膝三两，炙黄；川椒半两；附子一个，十钱重者，炮去皮脐。以上切碎，用生绢做袋子，袋盛，缝结袋口。用无灰酒一斗，春秋浸泡十四日，夏浸泡七日，冬浸泡十日。每日空腹饮一大盏，待饮尽酒后，取出药渣研成细末，醋糊制成丸药。每次服用二十丸，空腹用温酒或盐酒任下，忌动风等物。
治疗五般腰疼
巴豆五个，每个用湿纸裹煨令熟，去壳取肉，去油，只用半出油半微去油的；五灵脂半两，炮黑；牵牛（瓦上炒白牵牛同），各三钱重；狗脊半两；萆薢三钱重；没药三十文；胡桃两个，取肉研为膏。以上药材研成细末，将胡桃膏加入醋糊制成丸药，如梧桐子大。每次服用十五丸。风腰痛，豆淋无灰酒送下。气腰疼，煨葱白酒送下。败精腰痛，茴香酒送下。失血腰疼，当归酒送下。打扑腰疼，苏木酒送下。
另一个方子治疗五种腰疼
狗脊、萆薢、菟丝子各二两，酒浸，焙干，别研。以上药材研成细末，炼蜜制成如梧桐子大的丸药。每次服用三十丸，用萆薢二两浸酒三日，取酒服药，空腹食前服用。
另一个方子治疗遍身皆痛，如劳证者。伤寒身体疼者，不可服。但少年虚损冷惫、老人诸疾，皆治之。
黄芪、人参、甘草、附子（炮）、羌活、木香、知母、芍药、川芎、前胡、枳壳、桔梗、白术、当归、茯苓、半夏各半两，柴胡、鳖甲各一两，桂心、酸枣仁各一分，杏仁半两。以上药材研成细末。每次服用一二钱，水二盏，姜三片，枣子三枚，乌梅三个，葱白三寸，同煎至七分，空腹温服。
异功散治疗妇人血冷气痛，心胸烦闷，不思饮食，四肢无力，头目昏疼，寒热往来，状似劳倦，皆治之。
牡丹、芍药、白芷、干姜，以上各三钱；当归、陈皮、官桂、乌药、玄胡索、川芎、苦梗，以上各半两。以上药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，生姜三片，酒水各半盏，煎至七分，温服。初生时宜服此药，每日三服，七日后渐减服数，至十日满，永无疾病。服后些许腹痛不妨事，勿躁（口替）。
治疗诸脾胃等疾
开胃进食丁香汤
藿香半两，巴豆二十粒，丁香四十九粒，粟米一合。以上先将粟米、巴豆肉同炒，令赤色，去巴豆不用。只用粟米与丁香、藿香同研为末。每次服用二钱，米饮调下。
Grind the above herbs into fine powder. For each dose, take two qian (approx. 6-10g), decoct with one sheng (approx. 200ml) of water until reduced to seven fen (approx. 140ml), strain the dregs, and take warm after meals and before retiring. For children, divide each dose into two parts and adjust according to circumstances. This prescription was obtained from a family skilled in medicine; the use of Rhinoceros Horn (Xijiao, *Rhinocerotis Cornu*) is particularly reasonable, proving effective in every case. A servant in my clan suffered from gingival recession (Yaxuan) with halitosis and gradually loose teeth. I administered two doses, and he recovered immediately. There are no cases where this prescription failed. These prescriptions were not recorded in the *Previous Collection of Ben Shi Fang* because they were hard to obtain. I do not wish to keep them for myself, unable to benefit all people widely, so I attach them here to share with everyone; enlightened physicians will surely appreciate them.
Another prescription can resolve all summer-heat toxins causing near-death conditions; administration leads to immediate recovery.
Pinellia Tuber (Banxia) 4 liang, vinegar 1.5 sheng, boil until vinegar is exhausted then dry-roast; Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 liang; Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi) 0.5 liang; Red Poria (Chifuling) 2 liang; White Poria (Baifuling) 1 liang. Grind the above into powder, mix with ginger juice and wheat flour paste to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take fifty pills per dose with hot water. During summer travels, I often kept this medicine in my luggage. Whether for myself or servants/guests, taking one dose daily prevented latent summer-heat diseases entirely, showing remarkable efficacy.
Treating various wind disorders
Treating eight types of headache
Aconite Lateral Rootlet Tip (Caowu Jian), Equal amount of Asarum (Xixin), Small amount of Lead Oxide (Huangdan). Grind the above into fine powder, insufflate into the nasal cavity using a reed tube for immediate effect.
Treating hemi-cephalgia (Wang Jinggong's Prescription: Secret Palace Formula)
Take fresh radish juice approximately the volume of a cicada shell. The patient lies supine; if pain is on the right, insufflate into the left nostril; if on the left, into the right; if bilateral, into both. Effective even for ten-year cases. Wang Jinggong suffered for twelve years and recovered immediately upon use. Subsequent physicians also cured patients with this method.
Treating cephalalgia and brain-wind Shen Sha Wan
Salt Sulfur (Yan Liuhuang) equal amounts. Grind into powder, mix with water and raw wheat flour paste to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take fifteen pills per dose before meals with mint tea. Jingjie wine is also acceptable.
Another prescription for stabilizing headache
Yangmei Qing (Kongqing without water), Niter (Xiaoshi), Earthworm (Dilong) equal amounts. (Note: Yangmei Qing refers to anhydrous Azurite). Grind into fine powder, insufflate into nose for immediate effect. The above four prescriptions were obtained from masters and tested repeatedly with verified results. A wealthy person in my hometown requested these formulas for public distribution.
Treating chronic hemi-cephalgia, brain-invading wind, and all headaches, regardless of duration, with prompt effect, named Tou Ding San
Asarum (Xixin, best from Changbai) 3 stems, Melon Seeds (Gua Di) 7, Clove (Dingxiang) 3 grains, Glutinous Rice (Nuomi) 7 grains, Borneol (Naozi) bean-sized, Musk (Shexiang) black-soybean-sized. First, grind Borneol and Musk in a mortar until extremely fine. Then grind the previous four ingredients, add to the mortar with Borneol and Musk, and mix evenly. Store in a clay jar, tightly sealed. Insufflate soy-bean sized amount into either nostril as needed. After some time, cold saliva (approx. 1 sheng) will discharge, bringing relief.
Clear head wind, dispel wind evil, smooth true qi
Notopterygium Root (Qianghuo), Silkworm (Jiangcan) each 1 liang; Tribulus Fruit (Bajili, remove spines, stir-fry) 1 liang; Chrysanthemum Flower (Ganju) 1 liang; Typhonium Rhizome (Baifuzi) 1 liang; Cinnabar (Zhusha) 1 liang; Musk (Shexiang) 1 liang. Grind into powder, take one qian per dose mixed with mint tea or wine.
Treats cephalalgia due to wind-deficiency or qi-deficiency in men and women, and postpartum wind-strike in women; treats all types of headache.
Artemisia Capillaris Herba (Yinchen) 5 liang; Ephedra Herb (Mahuang), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao calcined to retain properties) each 2 liang. Grind into powder, take one qian per dose with "brain tea" (tea infused with Borneol), after meals. Lie supine after ingestion.
Treating excessive dry scalp flakes caused by wind invasion due to qi deficiency affecting the skin surface; this medicine is excellent.
Veratrum Root (Lilu Gen). One herb, quantity unspecified, grind into powder. Wash hair first, avoid wind. Best apply when hair is not completely dry. Rub powder into hair down to the scalp, bind tightly for two days. Next day, symptoms disappear completely without dryness or itching. If slight residue remains, repeat once for immediate effect.
Another prescription: Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), Lingering Fragrance (Lingling Xiang) equal amounts. Grind into powder, use as described above. Comb out after 3-5 days, repeat 3-4 times for lifelong prevention.
Jingjie Powder for Head Wind (Wang Dayi's Prescription)
Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao calcined) equal amounts. Grind into fine powder, take two qian per dose with three slices of ginger, three cun of scallion white with roots, one sheng of water, decoct to seven fen, take after meals.
Prescription for Hemi-cephalgia
Garden Bean Pod (Zhuya Zaojiao, remove skin and筋), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), Typhonium Rhizome (Baifuzi) equal amounts. Grind into powder, take one qian per dose with aged tea. Lie on affected side; if bilateral, lie supine. Take after meals.
Treating acute wind-stroke with closed mouth and salivation threatening death. One dose cures.
Croton Seed (Jiangzi/Badou) 2 grains, remove skin and membrane; Alum (Baifan) piece thumb-sized, powdered. (Note: Jiangzi is Badou). Calcine both on new tile until Croton seed turns scorched red. Powder, mix with refined honey to make pills chicken-head sized. Wrap one pill in cotton, place near throat in patient's mouth. If phlegm is expectorated after a while, immediate effect.
Treating head wind, vertigo, temporal pain, loss of appetite.
Agastache Herb (Huoxiang), Poria (Fuling), Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfuzi) each 1 liang. Grind into powder, take two qian per dose mixed with clear tea, three times daily.
Clear head and eyes, avoid miasmic winds
Atractylodes Rhizome (Cangzhu) 4 liang, Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie), Licorice Root (Gancao) each 1 liang. Grind three herbs into fine powder, take one large qian per dose brewed with boiling water, morning administration. Prepare for travel to smoky/miasmic regions. When I entered Guangdong, I prepared one dose, took it daily, and returned without contracting miasma. Servants also benefited. It clears the head and eyes with diverse efficacies.
Niuhuang San for clearing heat and resolving phlegm in pediatric convulsions
Cinnabar (Zhusha) 1 qian, Musk (Shexiang) 1 zi, genuine Borneol (Naozi) 0.5 liang, Mercury (Shuiyin) 1 qian, Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang) 1 zi, Calculus Canis (Gouhuang/Dog Gallstone), Realgar (Xionghuang) 1 zi, Lingering Fragrance (Lingling Xiang/Lingxiang) 0.5 liang. (Note: Gouhuang is Dog Gallstone; Lingxiang is Lingling Xiang). Grind all into powder. Mix the first four powders together, and the last four separately, then blend uniformly before use. Take 1 zi or half qian per dose, mixed with mint decoction and gold/silver foil. To resolve phlegm, add 2 Croton seeds (de-oiled), total medicine 2 qian, mix well, take half zi with mint tea, adjusting dosage based on age and deficiency/excess.
Yuye Gao for generating body fluids
Perilla Leaf (Zisu) 4 liang, Cassia Bark (Bangui) 0.5 liang, Licorice Root (Gancao), Dried Plum Flesh (Baimei Rou) each 2 liang. Grind first three into powder, mash plum flesh to make pills chicken-head sized. Dissolve three pills in mouth per dose.
Treating all headaches
Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuanxiong) each 1 liang, Aconite Lateral Root (Fuzi) 7 qian (severe cases use one larger root, processed, remove skin and umbilicus). Grind into powder, take 1 zi per dose mixed with Jingjie-Mint tea.
Treating cold damage headache, Taiyang headache, and all head winds
Processed Aconite Lateral Root (Chuanwu), Processed Aconite Lateral Root (Caowu) each 0.5 liang, Ephedra Herb (Mahuang) 1.5 liang, Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Notopterygium Root (Qianghuo), Earth Dragon (Tulong, cleaned), Whole Scorpion (Quanxie) 10, Realgar (Xionghuang) 3 qian. Grind into powder, take half qian per dose after meals with clear tea.
Another formula: Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuanxiong) 1 liang, Asarum (Xixin) 0.5 liang, Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfuzi), Notopterygium Root (Qianghuo), Atractylodes Rhizome (Cangzhu) each 1 liang, Mint (Bohe) 2 liang, Licorice Root (Gancao) 3 qian, Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi) 2 liang, Chrysanthemum Flower (Ganju) 1 liang, Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie) 20 wen, Artemisia Capillaris Herba (Yinchen) 5 wen. Grind into powder, take two qian per dose with clear tea. For postpartum wind-strike headache, mix with Dongquai Powder and Gypsum Powder.
Head Wind Formula
Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfuzi) 1 jin, stir-fried red; Aconite Root (Wutou) 1 liang, stir-fried red; Licorice Root (Gancao) 20 wen. Grind into powder, mix with refined honey to make pills bullet-sized. Chew one pill with scallion-tea per dose.
Treating Strangled Throat Wind (Chanhou Feng)
Alum (Baifan) half qian, Egg White from Black Hen (Wuji Zi Qing). Mix evenly, pour into throat for immediate miraculous effect. This prescription has saved countless lives; do not neglect it.
Treating stroke with limb paralysis; this prescription is excellent.
Pangolin Scales (Chuanshanjia) 2 liang, Aconite Lateral Root (Chuanwutou) 2 liang, Red Sea Powder (Honghaifen) 1 liang. Grind into powder, take half liang per dose, mix with fresh green onion juice to form a paste. Make thick cakes approx. 1.5 cun diameter. Apply to left foot for left-sided lesions, right foot for right-sided. Place on sole, bind tightly with old silk, secure chair in draft-free room. Soak feet in hot water basin, assisted by careful attendants. Remove patch immediately if sweating occurs. Generalized sweating reduces numbness gradually to normalcy; this is wonderful.
Shenxiao Zhuming San for Great Wind Disease
Rhubarb Root (Dahuang), Gorse Thorn (Zaojiaoci) each 0.5 jin, Curcuma Wenyujin Rhizome (Yujin) 5 liang. Grind into powder, take three large qian per dose, mix with True Big Maple Oil and unfermented wine, warm, take before sleep. Worms will be passed on the ground during bowel movement. Chronic cases pass black worms; recent cases pass red worms. Repeat every 2-3 days until no worms remain, indicating cure. Stop this medicine, resume regular wind-dispelling and tonifying medicines. Do not inform the patient about the purgative nature to prevent worm concealment. Observe dietary restrictions (vegetarian), abstain from sexual activity, eliminate worldly thoughts, avoid anger, and recite Amitabha Buddha and Guanyin Bodhisattva names millions of times. This disease is karmic retribution; medication alone may shorten life, hence repentance via chanting is advised. Trust these words sincerely.
Xionghuang Jiuming San for dispelling wind and detoxifying
Realgar (Xionghuang) 2 qian, Curcuma Wenyujin Rhizome (Yujin) 2 qian, Croton Seeds (Badou) 40 grains, de-oiled. Grind into powder, mix with vinegar paste to make mung-bean-sized pills. Take 3-5 pills per dose with cool clear tea. Post-treatment notes: For Chanhou Feng, Zouma Feng, throat closure, sudden collapse with aphasia/jaw lock/unconsciousness, take seven pills灌 with hot tea. Severe cases recover after two doses with expectoration. For near-death cases with warm heart, pry open mouth with iron tool, instill medicine into throat; survival is certain. Vomiting or diarrhea is acceptable. Also suitable for upper chest congestion/swelling. Adjust pediatric dosage for convulsions.
Treating all wind strokes, left/right hemiplegia, facial deviation, and all wind diseases
Soap Bean Pods (Zaojiao) 3 stalks, scrape black skin and chop. One stalk soaked in wine, one charred (retain property), one stir-fried. Mint (Bohe) 3 liang, Black Morning Glory Seed (Heiqianniu) 3 liang, Polygonum Multiflorum Root (Heshouwu) 12 liang. Grind soap beans into powder, add appropriate water, boil into paste. Add remaining three herbs, pound 1000-2000 times to make paulownia-seed-sized pills. Take twenty pills per dose with tea or wine.

Cyprus Rhizome (Xiangfuzi) 1 jin, stir-fried; Tangerine Peel (Chenpi) 4 liang; Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 liang. Grind into powder, take two qian per dose empty stomach with salt water.
Treating women's blood-Qi stabbing pain, abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, wandering pain.
Angelica Sinensis Root (Chuan Danggui), White Peony Root (Baishao) each 2 liang; Cyperus Rhizome (Xiangfuzi) 0.5 jin; Smilax Bulb (Shancigu) 3 liang; Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shudihuang) 2 liang; Licorice Root (Gancao) 1 liang. Chop, take three qian per dose with one sheng water, one dried plum,少许 Schizonepeta, decoct to seven fen, take warm empty stomach. If cold abdominal pain persists, add two pieces of Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao) and decoct; immediate effect.
Treating unbearable blood-Qi stabbing pain and nocturnal crying in unmarried women; one dose effective.
Yuntaizi, Cinnamon Bark (Rougui), Galangal (Liangjiang), Myrrh (Moyao) equal amounts. Dry-roast and powder, take two qian per dose mixed with Frankincense wine, hot, any time.
Heqi San for treating refractory Qi disorders in men and women.
Licorice Root (Gancao, stir-fried) 0.5 liang, Bletilla Rhizome (Baiji) 1 liang, Lycium Bark (Digupi) 1 liang, Agastache Herb (Huoxiang) 0.5 liang, Centipede (Shanwugong) 1 liang, Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi) 1 liang, Hongneixiao (Polygonum Multiflorum/Heshouwu) 0.5 liang, Costus Root (Muxiang) 0.5 liang, Smilax Bulb (Shancigu) 1 liang. Roast and powder, take two large qian per dose empty stomach with salt water. An old physician in my village relied solely on this for female Qi disorders with hundred percent success, supporting his family of ten.
Treating unbearable intestinal Qi pain.
Lindera Root (Wuyao) pounded and soaked in good old wine overnight; Galangal (Gaoliangjiang), Fennel (Huixiang imported) each 1 liang; Green Tangerine Peel (Qingpi) 2 liang. Grind into powder, take two qian per dose at onset with hot wine.
Another formula: Almond (Xingren) 1 liang, Green Onion White (Congbai) pounded and roasted, 0.5 liang; Imported Fennel (Huixiang) 1 liang. Grind into powder, take three large qian per dose empty stomach with warm walnut wine.
Treating Bladder Qi
Green Vitriol (Qingfan) 1 liang, Alum (Baifan) 1 liang. Place in small clay pot, bind tightly with hemp, seal with mud, calcine with five jin charcoal until red hot. Bury in ground for two nights to remove fire toxicity. Powder, mix with vinegar paste to make mung-bean-sized pills. Take ten pills per dose empty stomach with salt water or plain water.
Treating Hernia (Shanqi)
Official Cinnamon (Guangui) 0.5 liang, Cnidium Fruit (Shechuangzi) 1 liang, Semi-Chaihu, Fine-strand Baizhi each 2 liang. Chop, take five large qian per dose with two sheng water, two scallion whites with roots, 50 Sichuan peppercorns, decoct to seven fen. Another formula for chronic lumbar pain: Sweet Melon Rind (Shitian Gua), Processed Aconite (Fuzi) 0.5 liang, Winter Melon Peel (Dongguapi) 0.5 liang, Betel Nut (Binglang), Costus Root (Muxiang), Lindera Root (Wuyao) each 0.5 liang. Take twenty pills per dose with warm wine or salt wine. Avoid wind-aggravating foods.
Treving Five Types of Lumbar Pain

Yigong San for women's blood-cold Qi pain, chest distress, anorexia, limb weakness, dizziness/headache, alternating chills/fever, fatigue-like symptoms.
Moutan Cortex (Mudanpi), White Peony Root (Shaoyao), Angelica Dahurica Root (Baizhi), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang) each 3 qian; Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui), Tangerine Peel (Chenpi), Official Cinnamon (Guangui), Lindera Root (Wuyao), Corydalis Rhizome (Yanyhusuo), Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Platycodon Root (Kugen) each half liang. Powder, take two qian per dose with 3 ginger slices, half sheng wine/water mixture, decoct to seven fen, warm. Recommended for newborns, three times daily, taper over 7 days, complete course 10 days for lifelong health. Mild abdominal pain after dosing is acceptable; do not worry.
