The *Gu Du Pian* (Chapter on Bone Measurements) states: From the upper border of the Henggu (Transverse Bone), downwards to the upper border of the Neifu (Inner Accessory bone, i.e., medial condyle of tibia), the length is one chi eight cun. From the upper border of the Neifu downwards to its lower border, the length is three and a half cun. From the lower border of the Neifu downwards to the medial malleolus, the length is one chi three cun. From the medial malleolus downwards to the ground, the length is three cun. From below the knee to the Shu Shu (dorsal attachment of foot), the length is one chi six cun. From the Shu Shu downwards to the ground, the length is three cun. ○ From the Bi Shu (Hip Pivot, i.e., greater trochanter) downwards to the middle of the knee, the length is one chi nine cun. From below the knee to the lateral malleolus, the length is one chi six cun. From the lateral malleolus downwards to the Jing Gu (Capital Bone, i.e., tuberosity of fifth metatarsal), the length is three cun. From the Jing Gu downwards to the ground, the length is one cun. ○ The length of the foot is one chi two cun, and the width is four and a half cun.
There are twenty-two acupoints on the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian and the thigh.
Yinbai (SP1) (from *Su Wen*, also known as Guilou or Guiyan) is located at the medial end of the big toe. It is the Jing-Well point (*Ling Shu*). It is on the nail, about the width of a leek leaf from the tip (*Su Wen*). At the corner of the nail (*Wai Tai Mi Yao*). Moxibustion is contraindicated (*Ru Men*).
Note: *Ming Tang* records Huatuo's points, which likely refers to Yinbai, detailed in the Extraordinary Points section. *Qian Jin Fang* writes it as "toe," and subsequent points follow this convention.
Dadu (SP2) (from *Ling Shu*) is located in the depression anterior-inferior to the proximal interphalangeal joint of the big toe. It is the Ying-Spring point (*Ling Shu*). It is at the junction of red and white skin on the medial side of the proximal phalanx of the big toe (*Zhou Hou Fang*).
Note: "Proximal joint" refers to the proximal interphalangeal joint of the big toe, continuing from the previous text. The character "anterior" was originally written as "posterior" in old texts. *Jia Yi Jing*, *Qian Jin Fang*, *Qian Jin Yi Fang*, *Wai Tai Mi Yao*, *Ci Zhu*, and *Zi Sheng Jing* all follow "posterior." *Yi Xue Gang Mu* alone writes "anterior to the proximal joint," which is correct. Otherwise, Taibai should not be located under the nuclear bone. Therefore, it is corrected to "anterior." *Yi Zong Jin Jian* writes "end of the second joint bone gap," which is incorrect. *Zhou Hou Fang* mistakenly wrote "cun" for "red character below side," now corrected.
Taibai (SP3) (from *Ling Shu*) is located below the He Gu (Nuclear Bone). It is the Shu-Stream point (*Ling Shu*). In the depression on the medial side (*Jia Yi Jing*). At the junction of red and white skin (*Lei Jing*).
Note: The character "He" (nuclear) was mistakenly written as "Wan" (wrist) in old texts. The *Jing Mai Pian* (Meridian Chapter) states: "The Spleen meridian of Foot-Taiyin originates at the tip of the big toe, follows the medial side of the toe along the white skin, passes behind the He Gu." *Jia Yi Jing*, *Qian Jin Fang*, *Qian Jin Yi Fang*, *Wai Tai Mi Yao*, and *Ci Zhu* all write "He," confirming that "Wan" is a copying error. It is now corrected. "He" refers to the pit of a plum or walnut kernel.
It refers to the bone behind the proximal joint of the big toe, shaped like a plum kernel. *Jia Yi Jing* and others refer to the large bone in front of the medial malleolus as Ran Gu. *Ci Zhu* explains "Wan" as being in front of the medial malleolus, which is unknown to be an error. *Fa Hui* and *Liu Zhu Tiao* write "Fu Gu" (Covering Bone), noting: one version is He Gu, commonly called Gu Xiao Gu. Gu Xiao Gu is an alias for the ankle bone, not He Gu. *Lei Jing* says: it is the round bone on the medial side behind the proximal joint of the big toe. This is correct. *Jia Yi Jing* omits the words "He Gu" after "medial side."
Gongsun (SP4) (from *Ling Shu*) is one cun posterior to the proximal joint, diverging to the Yangming meridian (*Ling Shu*). It is the Yuan-Source point (*Qian Jin Fang*).
Note: One cun posterior to the proximal joint, close to the bone on the upper lateral side. "Proximal joint" refers to the proximal interphalangeal joint of the big toe. *Ru Men* and *Yi Zong Jin Jian* write "one cun posterior to Taibai," which is incorrect.
*Lei Jing* states: In the depression in front of the medial malleolus, sit upright with soles of feet facing each other to locate. *Qian Jin Fang*'s explanation of origins differs from the Ben Shu Pian; its basis is unknown. Recorded temporarily for future verification.
Shangqiu (SP5) (from *Ling Shu*) is in the depression below the medial malleolus. It is the Jing-River point (*Ling Shu*). Slightly anterior to the medial malleolus (*Jia Yi Jing*). Zhongfeng is anterior, Zhaohai is posterior, this point is in the middle (*Shen Ying Jing*). There is a transverse wrinkle like an inverted mouth shape below the medial malleolus (*Lei Jing*). The three points are separated by a small tendon (*Zeng Zhu*).
Note: "Qiu" is written as a variant character in *Ru Men*. *Yi Zong Jin Jian* writes "Qiu." "Kou" (mouth) might be a typo for "Dao" (knife).
Sanyinjiao (SP6) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as Chengming or Taiyin (*Qian Jin Fang*). Three cun above the medial malleolus, in the depression below the bone (*Jia Yi Jing*). Posterior to the bone, anterior to the tendon (*Ru Men*). Contraindicated for needling during pregnancy (*Lei Jing*).
Note: *Qian Jin Fang* and *Qian Jin Yi Fang* state "eight cun" in the moxibustion method for testicles, which is erroneous. *Qian Jin Fang* says: For mania, epilepsy, and convulsions, moxa Chengming point, three cun upward from behind the medial malleolus on the pulsating artery. Also says: For uterine bleeding in women, moxa Taiyin, named Sanyinjiao. *Qian Jin Yi Fang* says: Taiyin is named Sanyinjiao one cun above the medial malleolus. Also says: Needle Foot Taiyin point, one fu above the medial malleolus, named Sanyinjiao. Now moved to aliases. "Below the bone" refers to posterior to the tibia. *Zhou Hou Fang* says: three cun above the tip of the malleolus. *Yi Zong Jin Jian* follows this, which is incorrect. All measurements above and below the malleolus exclude the bone. *Zi Sheng Jing* says: Formerly, the Crown Prince of Song was skilled in medicine. Meeting a pregnant woman in the garden, the Prince diagnosed: female. Xu Wenbo diagnosed: one male, one female. Needled Sanyinjiao with reducing method, supplemented Hegu, resulting in immediate expulsion. As Wenbo predicted. *Wai Tai Mi Yao* cites *Ji Yan Fang*: The large pulse above the medial malleolus, spanning four fingers. The method of Jie Fa is seen above.
Uterine bleeding.
Lougou (SP7) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as Taiyin Luo (*Zi Sheng Jing*). Six cun above the medial malleolus, in the depression below the bone (*Jia Yi Jing*). Moxibustion is contraindicated (*Ru Men*).
Note: "Gu" is written as "Yu" in *Da Quan*. "Luo" is written as "Ge" in *Qian Jin Fang*. *Ju Ying* writes "Jing," which is wrong. *Ju Ying*, Wu Wenbing, and *Da Cheng* write "bone below" twice. *Yi Zong Jin Jian* writes "between bones."
Diji (SP8) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as Pi She (*Jia Yi Jing*). Five cun below the knee (*Jia Yi Jing*). On the medial side of the knee, below the Fu Gu (accessory bone), in the depression, extend the leg to locate (*Ming Tang*).
Note: *Jia Yi Jing* says: Taiyin Luo diverges upward one cun, the empty space is five cun below the knee. *Ci Yao Pian* says: Pierce San Mai, between the bone and flesh in front of the knee, binding the vessels on the outer edge. Wang Bing annotates: This is Diji. "Ji" is written as "Ji" (basket) in *Ru Men*, likely due to phonetic similarity. "Fu" was originally written as "Zhuan," same as *Zi Sheng Jing*, a copying error. From the inner accessory bone to the ankle bone is one chi three cun. Take the middle as six and a half cun, slightly lower is Lougou. Below that, take the middle as Sanyinjiao. Within these six and a half cun, excluding one and a half cun to locate Diji, it attaches to the tibia. *Yi Zong Jin Jian* says go up five cun from Lougou, in the depression between bones five cun below the knee on the medial side, which is incorrect. Going up from Lougou is five and a half cun.
Yinlingquan (SP9) (from *Ling Shu*) is in the depression below the Fu Gu (accessory bone). Extend the leg to obtain it; it is the He-Sea point (*Ling Shu*). Medial side below the knee (*Jia Yi Jing*). Opposite Yanglingquan internally and externally. One version says slightly higher by one cun (*Lei Jing*). Moxibustion is contraindicated (*Ru Men*).
Note: *Ling Shu* says: Yin zhi Lingquan, sometimes without "zhi." Yanglingquan is the same. "Extend to obtain" means extending the leg. Pressing behind the Fu Gu with finger, going up along the side bone to the bottom of the Fu Gu where the finger stops naturally, this is the point. *Zi Sheng Jing* says locate when bending the knee. *Yi Zong Jin Jian* says at the head of the transverse wrinkle when bending the knee, which is incorrect.
*Lei Jing* and *Ju Ying* say locate when bending the knee. Abandoning ancient books to this extent is unjustified. Gangben considers this point above Ququan, which is an error of bending the knee.
Xuehai (SP10) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as Baichongke (*Da Quan*). Two and a half cun above the kneecap on the medial margin, at the junction of white skin (*Jia Yi Jing*). Posterior to the bone, anterior to the tendon (*Ru Men*). In the depression (*Lei Jing*).
Note: *Wai Tai Mi Yao*, *Zi Sheng Jing*, and *Fa Hui* write "middle" instead of "half," which is wrong. *Qian Jin Yi Fang* and *Sheng Ji Zong Lu* write "two cun." *Qian Jin Zhu*, *Ru Men*, and *Da Cheng* write "three cun." *Yi Zong Jin Jian* writes "one cun," all incorrect. *Lei Jing* writes "five fen horizontally inward from the upper accessory bone of the knee," which is too rigid.
Jimén (SP11) (from *Jia Yi Jing*) is on the fish belly, crossing between two tendons, where the artery is palpable. Taiyin Neishi (*Jia Yi Jing*). Inside the medial thigh (*Zi Sheng Jing*). Six cun above Xuehai (*Ru Men*). Needling is contraindicated (*Ru Men Lei Jing Yi Shuo*).
Note: "Crossing two tendons," *Qian Jin Fang* lacks "crossing two." *Qian Jin Yi Fang* and *Wai Tai Mi Yao* lack "two." Also, *Wai Tai Mi Yao* one version says "starting from tendons on the thigh." *Lei Jing*, *Ju Ying*, and *Yi Tong* follow this. *Zi Sheng Jing*, *Fa Hui*, *Da Quan*, *Bao Jian*, *Yi Tong*, and Wu Wenbing also write "crossing tendon." "Yue" (cross) is a corruption of "Qi" (start/rise). Similar characters led to error. *Bao Jian* cites *Ling Shu*: "Starting from tendons on the thigh," which is the ancestor of the *Wai Tai Mi Yao* version. However, current texts do not have this sentence. *Jia Yi Jing* says Taiyin Neishi. *Qian Jin Fang*, *Qian Jin Yi Fang*, and *Wai Tai Mi Yao* all write "Yin Nei Shi," likely a character error. "Taiyin Neishi" is suspected to be "Enter Yin Gu Nei" (Inside the medial thigh). Temporarily recorded for later scholars. Now attached to *Zi Sheng Jing* as the main note.
There are twenty-two acupoints on the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian and the thigh.
Dadun (LR1) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Shuiquan (*Qian Jin Fang*) or Dashun (*Yi Xue Zheng Chuan*). At the tip of the big toe and among the hair tuft (*Ling Shu*). It is the Jing-Well point (*Ling Shu*). On the nail, where it meets the flesh (*Su Wen*). About the width of a leek leaf from the nail (*Jia Yi Jing*).
Note: *Ci Zhu* says: Corner of the nail is incorrect. This point is taken on the nail, near the center of the hair tuft, which is the ancient saying. *Lei Jing* records another view: Inner side is Yinbai, outer side is Dadun. *Ju Ying* and *Yi Tong* follow this, which is incorrect. For Jing-Well points, *Ling Shu* mentions inner/outer sides, but also has some without mention. They should not be confused. *Jia Yi Jing* has what *Ling Shu* does not say, which is ancient transmission and cannot be discarded. Only this point says "and among the hair tuft." *Miao Ci Pian* asks: Among the hair tuft, why choose the outer side? *Qian Jin Fang* says: Among the clustered hair of the big toe, which is correct. Also says: For stone strangury, moxa Shuiquan, thirty moxa cones, which is Dadun. Now considered an alias. Also says: When nosebleed causes itching, moxa the hair tuft at the joint of the foot, ten cones. Severe cases, hundred cones. If nosebleed does not stop, moxa it. Also treats swelling of the scrotum. Likely referring to Dadun. *Ju Ying* and *Yi Tong* write "between the toes," which is incorrect.
Xingjian (LR2) (from *Ling Shu*) is between the big toe and the second toe. It is the Ying-Spring point (*Ling Shu*). In the depression where the artery beats (*Jia Yi Jing*). Between the bifurcation bones of the big toe and second toe, with tendons above and below, and small bone tips front and back, the point lies exactly in the depression (*Lei Jing*).
Note: *Da Quan* writes "outer side of big toe." *Qian Jin Fang* and *Wai Tai Mi Yao* add "palpable" after "pulse."
Taichong (LR3) (from *Ling Shu*) is two cun above Xingjian, in the depression. It is the Shu-Stream point (*Ling Shu*). Two cun posterior to the proximal interphalangeal joint of the big toe. Or said, one and a half cun (*Jia Yi Jing*). Artery palpable (*Ci Zhu*).
Note: *Jia Yi Jing* records two views, followed by other books. Examining: if saying two cun from Xingjian, it includes the proximal joint; if saying two cun posterior to the proximal joint, it excludes it. Thus, the one and a half cun view is closer to correctness. Now based on *Ling Shu*, taking two cun above Xingjian is correct. *Wai Tai Mi Yao* writes two and a half cun. *Lei Jing* says: Posterior to the proximal joint of the big toe, two cun above Xingjian inside, there is a collateral connecting to Diwu Hui two cun, in the bone gap, artery palpable in the depression. *Zi Sheng Jing* says: Diagnosing Taichong pulse can determine life or death in men. *Ju Ying* writes: Diagnosing whether the patient's Taichong pulse exists can determine life or death. Also annotates Taixi: For men and women with illness, if this pulse exists, they live; if not, they die. Zhang Jiebin annotates Chongyang: What Zhang Zhongjing calls Duyang. Note: Zhang Zhongjing's Duyang is not an acupoint name, but refers to the artery on the dorsum of the foot. Taichong, Chongyang, and Taixi together constitute what is called Duyang.
Zhongfeng (LR4) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Xuanquan (*Qian Jin Fang*). Anterior to the medial malleolus, one and a half cun, in the depression. Obtain by shaking the foot. It is the Jing-River point (*Ling Shu*). On the oblique small vessel (*Qian Jin Fang*). In the depression of the large tendon贴着 the ankle (*Lei Jing*). It is the Yuan-Source point (*Qian Jin Fang*).
Note: One and a half cun, *Jia Yi Jing*, *Qian Jin Fang*, *Yi Fang*, *Wai Tai Mi Yao*, and subsequent books write "one cun," confusing it with Shangqiu. Now following the ancient saying. *Qian Jin Za Bing Lun* and *Ci Zhu* write one and a half cun, which is correct. "Shake foot," *Jia Yi Jing* and subsequent books write "extend foot to locate." "In the depression," extend the foot to obtain. *Qian Jin Jin Ji Pian* writes: In the anterior of the medial malleolus, inside the tendon, in the hollow. *Ying Liu Pian* writes: In the hollow of the right angle on the dorsum of both feet. *Qian Jin Fang* says it is the Yuan-Source, see above.
Ligou (LR5) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Jiaoyi (*Zi Sheng Jing*). Five cun away from the medial malleolus, diverging to the Shaoyang meridian (*Ling Shu*). In the depression (*Ming Tang*).
Note: All books write "above medial malleolus." "Yi" character, *Da Quan* writes "Yi." *Qian Jin Fang* says: Jiaoyi is five cun above the medial malleolus, does not mention Ligou as an alias. So follow *Zi Sheng Jing*.
Zhongdu (LR6) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as [missing] (*Qian Jin Fang*), also known as Taiyin (*Wai Tai Mi Yao*). Jueyin Luo, seven cun above the medial malleolus, in the [missing], straight opposite to Shaoyin (*Jia Yi Jing*). Middle of the tibia (*Wai Tai Mi Yao*). It is the Jing-River point (*Qian Jin Fang*).
Note: "Straight opposite to Shaoyin" five characters are unclear. "Shao" is likely a typo for "Tai." For the above two points, locate in the [missing] bone. *Wai Tai Mi Yao* one version says between Yinlingquan and Sanyinjiao.
Xiguan (LR7) (from *Jia Yi Jing*) is two cun below Dubi, in the depression (*Jia Yi Jing*).
Note: *Qian Jin Fang* and *Qian Jin Yi Fang* write three cun, which is wrong. *Lei Jing*, *Ju Ying*, *Bao Jian*, *Da Cheng*, and Wu Wenbing write "two cun below Dubi laterally." *Qian Jin Fang* says: Jueyin Luo, likely an error.
Ququan (LR8) (from *Ling Shu*) is below the Fu Gu (accessory bone) and above the large tendon. Obtain by bending the knee. It is the He-Sea point (*Ling Shu*). Above the large tendon, below the small tendon, in the depression (*Jia Yi Jing*). Head of the transverse wrinkle on the medial side of the knee (*Qian Jin Fang*).
Note: Fu Gu refers to the inner accessory bone.
Yinbao (LR9) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as Yinbao (*Da Quan*). Four cun above the knee, on the medial margin of the thigh, between two tendons. Foot Jueyin diverges (*Jia Yi Jing*). In the depression (*Ming Tang*). Extend the leg to locate. Look at the medial side of the knee, there must be a groove, locate in the middle (*Lei Jing*).
Note: "Bao" character, *Zi Sheng Jing* says: *Ming Tang* writes "Bao" (womb). Now follow Xu Feng as an alias. "Diverges," *Jia Yi Jing* annotation says: Here there is a missing part. *Wai Tai Mi Yao* and *Lei Jing* are the same.
Wuli (LR10) (from *Jia Yi Jing*) is below Yinlian, three cun away from Qichong, in the medial thigh, where the artery beats (*Jia Yi Jing*).
Note: *Qian Jin Fang* and *Qian Jin Yi Fang* write "two cun below Yinlian." *Wai Tai Mi Yao* writes "two cun below Yinlian, three cun away from Qichong." Uncertain which is correct. If Yinlian is two cun from Qichong, then this point is one cun below Yinlian, likely a character error. Gangben thinks it might be in the transverse wrinkle of the medial thigh, which is also doubtful. *Ci Jin Lun* says: Pierce three cun below the medial thigh. Zhang's annotation says: Wuli point.
Yinlian (LR11) (from *Jia Yi Jing*) is below the Yangshi (Sheep Testicle), two cun away from Qichong, in the artery (*Jia Yi Jing*). In the transverse wrinkle of the medial thigh (Gangben).
Note: *Lei Jing* and *Yi Zong Jin Jian* write "below Yangshi, three fen obliquely inward, straight up," unclear. *Lei Jing* says: Yangshi is inside the thigh next to the yin, in the fold seam between skin and flesh, with a nucleus like a sheep testicle. *Ru Men* records Yangshi point, detailed in the Extraordinary Points section.
There are twenty acupoints on the Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian and the thigh.
Yongquan (KI1) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Dichong (*Jia Yi Jing*). Sole of the foot. It is the Jing-Well point (*Ling Shu*). The central vessel of the sole (*Su Wen*). To locate the sole, make the person kneel (*Su Wen*). In the depression, flex the foot and curl the toes, in the hollow (*Jia Yi Jing*).
Note: "Chong" character, *Ju Ying* writes "Qu." Center of the sole/palm of the foot. *Zhou Hou Fang* says: Moxa Jue Xin, on the large clustered tendon above the big toe, six or seven cones, named Yongquan. This saying is likely erroneous. *Qian Jin Fang* writes "large tendon below the big toe on the sole." Also writes "below the sole, on the large tendon above the big toe." *Wai Tai Mi Yao* citing Zhen Quan and *Ming Tang* both write "junction of white skin," which is incorrect.
Rangu (KI2) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Longyuan (*Jia Yi Jing*) or Ran Gu (*Lei Jing*). Below the Ran Gu. It is the Ying-Spring point (*Ling Shu*). Anterior to the medial malleolus of the foot, below the prominent bone, in the depression (*Jia Yi Jing*). Directly two cun below the medial malleolus (*Qian Jin Fang*).
Note: "Yuan" character, *Qian Jin Fang* writes "Quan," see above. *Su Wen* says: Injury to the collateral of Shaoyin, pierce below the medial malleolus of the foot, anterior to Ran Gu. Also says: Without accumulation, pierce anterior to Ran Gu. *Ci Zhu* says: Rangu point. *Qian Jin Yi Fang* and *Ju Ying* write one cun.
Taixi (KI3) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Lvxì (*Lei Jing*). Posterior to the medial malleolus, above the calcaneus, in the depression. It is the Shu-Stream point (*Ling Shu*). Artery (*Jia Yi Jing*). Five fen posterior to the medial malleolus (*Lei Jing*). It is the Yuan-Source point (*Lei Jing*).
Note: *Ju Ying* says: For men and women with illness, if this pulse exists, they live; if not, they die. See above. *Lei Jing* says: Yuan source, unknown basis.
Dazhong (KI4) (from *Ling Shu*) is behind the ankle, winding around the heel, diverging to the Taiyang meridian (*Ling Shu*). Artery (*Ci Zhu*). Above the large bone, between two tendons (*Ju Ying*).
Note: *Jia Yi Jing*, *Qian Jin Fang*, *Wai Tai Mi Yao*, *Zi Sheng Jing*, etc., write "center behind the heel." *Ci Zhu* writes "behind the street of the medial malleolus." Also writes "behind the heel." *Ju Ying*, Wu Wenbing, and *Da Cheng* write "Zhong" (heel). Note: "Chong," "Jie," and "Zhong" are all copying errors. Should be "Xian" (depression). *Ru Men* writes "five fen below Taixi," which is too rigid.
Zhaohai (KI6) (from *Jia Yi Jing*), also known as Yinqiao (*Da Quan*). One cun below the medial malleolus of the foot (*Jia Yi Jing*). Accommodates the nail (*Qian Jin Fang*). Tendons front and back, ankle bone above, cartilage below, the point is in the center (*Shen Ying Jing*).
Note: *Shen Ying Jing* says: Four fen below the medial malleolus. *Lei Jing* one version says: Four fen below the medial malleolus, slightly anterior high bone depression, which is incorrect. *Qian Jin Fang*, *Qian Jin Yi Fang*, and *Wai Tai Mi Yao* lack the "one cun" phrase. *Su Wen* says: Four points of Yin and Yang Qiao. Wang Bing annotates: Yin Qiao is Zhaohai, Yang Qiao is Shenmai.
Shuiquan (KI5) (from *Jia Yi Jing*) is the Shaoyin Luo, one cun below Taixi, below the medial malleolus of the foot (*Jia Yi Jing*). Slightly posterior (*Zeng Zhu*). It is the Yuan-Source point (*Qian Jin Fang*).
Note: "Below" is suspected to be a typo for "Posterior." However, *Qian Jin Fang*, *Qian Jin Yi Fang*, and *Wai Tai Mi Yao* follow it. Subsequent books are the same. So do not arbitrarily change. Taixi is posterior to the malleolus, so one cun below it should be posterior to the medial malleolus. Thus, *Zeng Zhu* indicates the meaning. *Qian Jin Fang* Shuiquan, also known as Dadun, see Dadun.
Fuliu (KI7) (from *Ling Shu*), also known as Fubai, Changyang (*Jia Yi Jing*), or Waiming (*Wai Tai Mi Yao*). Two cun above the medial malleolus, moving without rest. It is the Jing-River point (*Ling Shu*). In the depression (*Jia Yi Jing*). Anterior beside the bone is Jiaoxin, posterior beside the tendon is Fuliu. The two points are separated by only one tendon (*Lei Jing*).
Note: "Liu" character, *Jia Yi Jing* writes "Liu," ancient characters used interchangeably. *Qian Jin Fang* writes "Fuliu," no different meaning. "Moving without rest" refers to the artery. *Lei Jing* writes "anterior beside the bone." *Yi Zong Jin Jian* changes "tendon" to "bone." *Shen Ying Jing* writes "five fen posterior to the ankle," straight opposite to Taixi, and has the phrase "excluding the ankle." However, above the ankle, all measurements exclude the ankle regarding bone degree proportions, which is natural.
Jiaoxin (KI8) (from *Jia Yi Jing*) is two cun above the medial malleolus, anterior to Shaoyin, posterior to Taiyin, between bone and tendon. Xi-Cleft point of Yinqiao (*Jia Yi Jing*). Anterior to Fuliu (*Ru Men*). One cun below and posterior to Sanyinjiao (*Zeng Zhu*).
Note: *Ru Men* writes "posterior to Sanyinjiao," which is incorrect. This point is one cun below and posterior. "Anterior to Shaoyin" refers to the Renliu point of this meridian. "Posterior to Taiyin" refers to Sanyinjiao. *Qian Jin Fang*, *Qian Jin Yi Fang*, *Wai Tai Mi Yao*, *Ju Ying*, and *Yi Tong* all write "posterior margin of Taiyin." *Zi Sheng Jing* says: Anterior to the posterior margin of Taiyin, between bone and tendon.
