(There are ninety-two acupoints on each side, totaling one hundred and eighty-four.)
The *Jingmai Pian* (Chapter on Meridians) states: The meridian of the Stomach Foot-Yangming begins at the side of the nose, intersects at the root of the nose, and laterally (Yingxiang LI20) connects with the Taiyang meridian. (Jingming BL1) descends along the lateral aspect of the nose.
(Chengqi ST1, Sibai ST2, Juliao ST3.) enters the upper teeth, emerges to encircle the lips, crosses at the mentolabial sulcus (Dicang ST4), then follows the posterior mandible downwards, passes Daying ST5, ascends along Jiache ST6 to the front of the ear. (Xiaguan ST7) passes through Kemuren GB4, follows the hairline. (Xuanli GB6, Xuanlu GB7, Han'yan GB5, Touwei ST8.) reaches the frontal cranium. (Shenting GV24) Its branch starts from the anterior aspect of Daying, descends to Renying ST9, follows the throat (Shuitu LU22, Qishe LU12), enters the Supraclavicular Fossa (Quepen LI12), descends through the diaphragm, belongs to the Stomach, and connects with the Spleen. Its straight branch originates from the Supraclavicular Fossa, descends along the medial margin of the breast.
(Qihu ST15, Kukufang ST16, Wuyi ST17, Yingchuang ST18, Ruzhong RN17/Renying ST15 contextually ST15-18 sequence implies chest points, specifically Qihu, Kukufang, Wuyi, Yingchuang, Ruzhong ST18 is usually listed, but text lists Ruzhong then Gen. Standard list: Qihu ST15, Kukufang ST16, Wuyi ST17, Yingchuang ST18, Ruzhong ST18 is often considered a landmark, here likely referring to the channel path. Text says: Qihu, Kukufang, Wuyi, Yingchuang, Ruzhong, Rugen ST17 is Wuyi? No. ST15 Qihu, ST16 Kukufang, ST17 Wuyi, ST18 Yingchuang, ST18 is Yingchuang? No. ST18 is Yingchuang. Ruzhong is not an acupuncture point for treatment but a landmark. Rugen ST17 is Wuyi? No. Let's stick to text names: Qihu, Kukufang, Wuyi, Yingchuang, Ruzhong, Rugen.) Descends. (Burong ST37, Chengman ST39, Liangmen ST40, Guanmen ST41, Taiyi ST42, Rouhou ST43) flanking the umbilicus (Tianshu ST25, Wailing ST26, Daju ST27, Shuidao ST28, Guilai ST29) enters the Qi Street (Qichong ST30). Another branch originates from the stomach outlet, descends within the abdominal cavity, and joins the main trunk at the Qi Street.
From there it descends to Biguan ST31, reaches Futu ST32, descends into the knee patella region. (Yinshi ST33, Liangqiu ST34, Dubi ST35) Descends along the lateral aspect of the lower leg. (Zusanli ST36, Shangjuxu ST37, Tiaokou ST38, Xiajuxu ST39) Descends to the foot dorsum. (Jiexi ST41, Chongyang ST42) Enters the space between the toes of the middle toe. (XianGu ST43, Neiting ST44, Lidui ST45) Another branch separates three cun below the lower leg. (Fenglong ST40) Descends into the space between the toes of the middle toe. Another branch separates from the foot dorsum, enters the space between the big toe, and emerges at its tip.
It is also said: The collateral vessel of the Foot-Yangming Stomach meridian is named Fenglong, located eight cun from the ankle, diverging to connect with the Taiyin meridian. Its branch runs along the lateral aspect of the tibia, ascends to connect with the head and neck, gathers the qi of various meridians, and descends to connect with the throat.
The *Qifu Lun* (Discourse on Qi Orifices) states: There are sixty-eight acupoints where the Qi of the Foot-Yangming meridian emerges. Three on each side beside the hairline of the frontal cranium. (The secondary note explains these as Xuanlu GB7, Yangbai GB14, Touwei ST8, six points in total.) One on each side in the hollows of the zygomatic bone. (Referring to Sibai ST2.) One on each side in the hollow of Daying. (Referring to Daying ST5.) One Renying. (Referring to Renying ST9.) One in the hollow outside the Supraclavicular Fossa. (Referring to Tiantu CV22 and Tianding LI16? Text says "Tian [missing] two points", likely Tiantu and Tianding or similar, but standard commentary often refers to specific points. I will translate literally as "two Tian points"). One in the intercostal spaces of the chest. (Referring to six points: Yingchuang ST18, Qihu ST15, Kukufang ST16, Wuyi ST17, Ruzhong ST18, Rugen ST17? Text lists: Qihu, Kukufang, Wuyi, Ruzhong, Rugen. That's five. Plus Yingchuang makes six.) Outside the Jiuwei, three cun below the nipple, five on each side flanking the epigastrium. (Referring to Burong ST37, Chengman ST39, Liangmen ST40, Guanmen ST41, Taiyi ST42.) Three on each side flanking the umbilicus, three cun wide. (Referring to Rouhou ST43, Tianshu ST25, Wailing ST26.) Three on each side two cun below the umbilicus. (Referring to Daju ST27, Shuidao ST28, Guilai ST29.) One at the pulsation of the Qi Street. (Qi Street refers to Qichong ST30.) One above Futu. (Referring to Biguan ST31.) From Zusanli downwards to the middle toe, there are eight Shu points distributed at their respective locations. (Referring to Zusanli ST36, Shangjuxu ST37, Xiajuxu ST39, Jiexi ST41, Chongyang ST42, XianGu ST43, Neiting ST44, Lidui ST45.)
The *Jingbie Pian* (Chapter on Extraordinary Connections) states: The regular pathway of the Foot-Yangming meridian ascends to the thigh, enters the abdominal cavity, belongs to the Stomach, disperses to the Spleen, ascends to connect with the Heart, follows the pharynx upwards emerging from the mouth, reaches the forehead, returns to connect with the eye system, and merges with the Yangming meridian.
The *Jingjin Pian* (Chapter on Sinews) states: The sinews of the Foot-Yangming meridian originate from the middle toe, knot at the dorsum of the foot, slant outwards and upwards to the fibular head, ascend and knot at the lateral aspect of the knee, go straight up to knot at the hip joint, follow the costal region upwards to belong to the spine. Its straight branch ascends along the neck to knot at the sacrum. Its branch knots at the lateral fibular head and combines with the Shaoyang. Its straight branch ascends along Futu, knots at the thigh, gathers at the genitalia, distributes upwards in the abdomen, knots at the Supraclavicular Fossa, ascends to the neck, flanks the mouth, combines at the nose, knots at the nose, and combines upwards with the Taiyang meridian. The Taiyang meridian serves as the upper eyelid tendon, while the Yangming meridian serves as the lower eyelid tendon. Its branch knots from the cheek at the front of the ear.
The *Dongshu Pian* (Chapter on Pulsations) states: Why does the Foot-Yangming meridian pulse? Qibo answered: The Qi of the Stomach flows upward into the Lung. Its fierce Qi rushes upward to the head, following the pharynx to circulate through the sensory orifices, following the eye system to enter and connect with the brain, emerging from the face descending past Kemuren GB4, following the jawbone, combining with the Yangming meridian, and descending together to Renying ST9. This is the Stomach Qi taking a separate route to the Yangming meridian.
The *Pingren Qixiang Lun* (Discourse on Normal People's Pulse Manifestations) states: The great collateral of the Stomach is named Xuli. It penetrates the diaphragm, connects with the Lung, and emerges below the left nipple. Its movement can be felt through the clothing; this is the pulse of the Zong Qi (Gathering Qi).

Commentary: Between the outer space of the middle toe. Okamoto states: The middle toe of the foot refers to the second toe adjacent to the big toe, which is different from the middle finger of the hand. Regarding the five fingers/toes of the hands and feet, the one in the middle is called the middle finger/toe. However, it is questionable why the foot uses the second toe of the big toe as the "middle toe." The term "middle toe" in "enters the outer space of the middle toe" is likely a typo. Why? The *Benshu Pian* states: "Lidui is at the end of the second toe of the foot." "Neiting is in the outer space of the second toe." Here only the second toe is mentioned, never the middle toe. It is only at XianGu that it says "inner space of the middle toe," ascending two cun. Since XianGu is in the inner space of the third toe, if "middle toe" here meant the second toe of the big toe, it would coincide with the location of Xingjian LR2 of the Jueyin meridian. Generally, whenever "middle toe/finger" is mentioned, both hands and feet refer to the third digit as the middle. Furthermore, *Leijing* states: The second toe of the big toe refers to the toe adjacent to the big toe, i.e., the index toe. The foot is the same. The ancients did not necessarily call the second toe of the big toe the "middle toe." "Middle toe" should be read as "second toe."
Commentary: The four points Jiache ST6, Daying ST5, Quepen LI12, and Qichong ST30 are explicitly stated in the *Jingmai Pian* under the Gallbladder meridian section as intersections with the Foot-Shaoyang meridian. Their omission in *Jia Yi Jing* etc. is a textual loss. *Waitai Mi Yao* states there are ninety-three points on each side. Excluding the single point Chengren CV24 below, there are ninety-two points. This excludes Touwei ST8 (belongs to Gallbladder meridian) and Quepen LI12 (belongs to Sanjiao meridian). It includes Yingxiang LI20 (Large Intestine), Ermen SJ21 (Sanjiao), and Chengren CV24 (Ren Mai). *Daquan* includes four Xiyang points (listed under Extra Points). *Fahui* and subsequent books do not include Shangguan GB3 (belongs to Gallbladder meridian).
