The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian has sixty-three acupoints. It begins at Jingming (BL1), proceeds to Zanzhu (BL2), reaches Qucha (BL18), and then to Wuchu (BL19). Following this are Chengguang (BL17), Tongtian (BL16), Luoque (BL15), and Yuzhen (BL12). Tianzhu (BL10) is located high, Dazhu (BL11) aligns with it, Fengmen (BL12) opens, and Feishu (BL13) is positioned correctly. This area serves as the intersection of the Pericardium and Diaphragm, and the storage sites for the Liver, Gallbladder, Spleen, and Stomach. The Sanjiao (Triple Burner), Kidney, Large Intestine, and Small Intestine also connect here. Bladdershu (BL28), Zhonglü Neishu (BL29), and Baihuan (BL30) follow in sequence. From Dazhu to these points, the distance from the midline of the spine is approximately one cun and half.
Additionally, there are four points: Shangliao (BL31), Ciliao (BL32), Zhongliao (BL33), and Xialiao (BL34), located in the fourth sacral foramina to harmonize and regulate Qi. Huiyang (BL35) resides beside the coccyx (Kao Wei refers to the region near the Ren Meridian or coccyx). With this, the first line of back acupoints is completed.
Ascending further, Fufen (BL14) is attached beside the second vertebra (located on both sides below the second thoracic vertebra, three cun lateral to the spinal midline). Pohu (BL42) and Gaohuang (BL43) are beside the third vertebra, and Shen Tang (BL44) passes by the fourth vertebra. Yixi (BL45), Gegan (BL46), Hunmen (BL47), Yanggang (BL48), Yishe (BL49), Weicang (BL50), and Mangmen (BL51) appear. Zhishi (BL52) and Baoyu (likely referring to Baohuang/Baoyan 胞肓 BL54) extend along the back, dividing at Zhibian (BL54). Chengfu (BL36), Fuxi (BL38), and Weiyang (BL39) connect; Yinmen (BL37), Weizhong (BL40), and Heyang (BL37 - *Note: Heyang is BL37, Yinmen is BL37 in some texts but usually distinct, text implies sequence*) merge. Reaching Chengjin (BL56) and Chengshan (BL57), then Feiyang (BL58) and Fuyang (BL59), converging at Kunlun (BL60), Pucan (BL61), and Shenmai (BL62), exploring Jinmen (BL63) and Jinggu (BL64). From Shugu (BL65) to Tonggu (BL66), reaching the gate of Zhiyin (BL67) at the outer side of the little toe.
The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian starts at Jingming (BL1) in the inner canthus of the eye. Zanzhu (BL2) is taken in the depression at the eyebrow. Qucha (BL18) is five fen above the hairline. Wuchu (BL19) is one cun above the hairline. Chengguang (BL17) is two cun and half above the hairline. Tongtian (BL16), Luoque (BL15), and Yuzhen (BL12) are spaced evenly, each separated by one cun and five fen. Yuzhen (BL12) is located one cun and three fen behind the brain, entering the hairline two cun deep where Wan Gu (likely a textual error for a neck point like Naokong or similar, but translated literally as Wan Gu) appears. Tianzhu (BL10) is in the middle of the posterior hairline of the neck, offered in the depression outside the large tendon. From here, opening one cun and five fen laterally from the spine: the first is Dazhu (BL11), the second is Fengmen (BL12), the third vertebra hosts Feishu (BL13), the fourth vertebra hosts Jueyinshu (BL14), and Xinshu (BL15) is discussed below the fifth vertebra. Geshu (BL17) is at the seventh vertebra, Ganshu (BL18) at the ninth, Danshu (BL19) at the tenth, Pishu (BL20) at the eleventh, Weishu (BL21) at the twelfth, Sanjiaoshu (BL22) at the thirteenth, Shenshu (BL23) at the fourteenth, Dachangshu (BL25) below the sixteenth vertebra, Xiaochangshu (BL27) at the eighteenth, Pangguangshu (BL28) at the nineteenth, Zhonglü Neishu (BL29) at the twentieth, and Baihuanxu (BAIHUANSXU/Yaoshu) corresponds to below the twentieth vertebra (Baihuanxu is equivalent to Yaoshu). These acupoints can be arranged in order above. Furthermore, Shangliao (BL31), Ciliao (BL32), Zhongliao (BL33), and Xialiao (BL34) are good in the lumbar/sacral hollows corresponding to numbers one through four. Huiyang (BL35) is beside the tailbone's reverse bone. The various acupoints of the back's second line are now complete.
Again, opening three cun lateral to the spine: below the second vertebra is Fufen (BL14); below the third is Pohu (BL42); below the fourth is Gaohuang (BL43); below the fifth is Shen Tang (BL44); the sixth is Yixi (BL45); the seventh is Gegan (BL46); the ninth is Hunmen (BL47); the tenth is Yanggang (BL48); the eleventh holds Yishe (BL49); the twelfth divides Weicang (BL50); the thirteenth positions Mangmen (BL51) correctly; the fourteenth does not need discussion for Zhishi (BL52); the nineteenth is Baohuang (BL54); the twentieth is Zhibian (BL54). The various acupoints of the back's third line are uniform. Again, taking points from the lower buttock: Chengfu (BL36) resides in the depression as the master point. Fuxi (BL38) is six fen below Chengfu. Weiyang (BL39) counts six tenths of a cun below Chengfu. Yinmen (BL37) extends six cun below Chengfu, located between the two tendons in the center and outer aspect of the popliteal fossa. Weizhong (BL40) is within the crease of the knee popliteal fossa. Three cun below this, Heyang (BL37) is sought. Chengjin (BL56) is seven cun up the calf skirt, located in the center of the gastrocnemius muscle. Chengshan (BL57) is between the divided muscles below. Feiyang (BL58) is seven cun above the external malleolus. Fuyang (BL59) is three cun above the external malleolus. Kunlun (BL60) is in the central depression of the outer heel. Pucan (BL61) is also below the ankle bone. Shenmai (BL62) spreads five fen below the ankle. Jinmen (BL63) is one cun below Shenmai. Jinggu (BL64) is measured at the lateral edge of the bone. Shugu (BL65) is in the depression after the metatarsal joint. Tonggu (BL66) is calculated in the depression before the metatarsal joint. Zhiyin (BL67) is indeed on the side of the little toe. All the aforementioned acupoints belong to the Bladder Meridian.
