Process and prepare these in advance. Once the amniotic sac ruptures, quickly decoct one dose. After the baby is born, administer immediately. Whether it is a normal delivery or a miscarriage, it is suitable to take two doses to eliminate blood stasis and generate new blood. Each dose consists of: Chuanxiong, three qian; Danggui, eight qian; Gancao, five fen; Ganjiang, four fen; Taoren, ten grains (skin and tip removed, stir-fried). Add two cups of water, decoct until reduced to 70%, add six or seven spoons of wine, and take slightly warm. Reserve the dregs for the next dose. Combine the dregs from both doses and decoct together for a total of three times. This should be done before eating within one shichen (two hours). Continue to take frequently so that lower jiao blood stasis dissolves quickly, new blood grows rapidly, and fainting is avoided. Moreover, if the postpartum woman takes an extra dose, her spirit will gradually improve; do not dislike the frequency of medication. If taking one dose per day as in ordinary conditions, how can it reverse the qi and blood that are about to perish? For those who were constitutionally weak before pregnancy and encounter critical symptoms leading to miscarriage, do not limit the number of doses; continue taking until the disease recedes. For postpartum women with severe labor exhaustion, bloody discharge, and pale complexion, add three to four qian of Renshen (Ginseng Radix, 人参) to the formula and administer frequently without worry. If there is excessive sweating and shortness of breath, also add three to four qian of Renshen to Shenghua Tang, ensuring no stagnation of blood stasis.
