芒。民病肋痛支满；复则火令大举，肺气受制，民病咳逆唾血。

谓癸丑、癸未、癸卯、癸酉四年也。岁火不及寒气妄行，心反受邪，雪霜时降，寒气凛冽，辰星光
芒。民病吐痢腥秽，食已不饥；复则温令大举，肾水受制，民病膝痛胫肿。

指的是戊子、戊午、戊寅、戊申这四年。岁火之气太过，热气流行，肺气受到邪气侵袭，阳气如火焰般沸腾，山川呈现赤色干旱之象，荧惑星（火星）明亮可见。民众容易患咳嗽气逆、气喘痰嗽，肺痿伴有寒热症状，吐血或便血等出血症，严重时身体发热、皮肤疼痛。

指的是甲子、甲午、甲寅、甲申、甲辰、甲戌这六年。岁土之气太过，湿气流行，肾水受到邪气侵袭，表现为雨水泛滥、积水成灾，田间滋生蚊虫和土驹（一种昆虫），镇星（土星）明亮可见。民众容易患七疝（多种疝气的总称）、惊悸、大便稀溏，严重时腹部胀大满闷。

指的是庚辰、庚戌这两年。岁金之气太过，燥气流行，肝木受到邪气侵袭，草木生长延迟，霜降不及时，太白星（金星）明亮可见。民众容易患胁痛、易惊恐，感觉像被人追捕一样，严重时皮肤干燥皲裂脱落。

指的是丙子、丙午、丙寅、丙申、丙辰、丙戌这六年。岁水之气太过，寒邪流行，心火受到邪气侵袭，雪霜凛冽，水泽结冰坚硬，辰星（水星）明亮可见。民众容易患心中悬空感如同患病饥饿，腹部坚块痞硬且疼痛剧烈，严重时出现四肢厥冷、肢体拘挛僵硬。

指的是丁丑、丁未、丁卯、丁酉这四年。岁木之气不及，燥气妄行。肝脏反而受到邪气侵袭，草木生长延迟，枝叶枯黄凋落，太白金光显现。民众容易患胁痛、胸胁胀满；若发生复气（报复之气），则火令大兴，肺气受制，民众患咳嗽气逆、唾血。

指的是癸丑、癸未、癸卯、癸酉这四年。岁火之气不及，寒气妄行，心脏反而受到邪气侵袭，雪霜按时降落，寒气凛冽，辰星光芒显现。民众容易患呕吐、痢疾且气味腥臭，进食后不知饥饿；若发生复气，则温令大兴，肾水受制，民众患膝痛、小腿肿胀。

This refers to the six years of Ren Zi, Ren Wu, Ren Yin, Ren Shen, Ren Chen, and Ren Xu. When the Wood phase of the year is excessive, Wind Qi prevails, and the Spleen Earth is affected by pathogenic factors. This manifests as trees bending and sand flying, with grass and trees sprouting early, and the Year Star (Jupiter) appearing bright. The people suffer from abdominal pain, loose stools with undigested food, qi rushing upward to both hypochondriac regions, dysphagia and obstruction in the chest and diaphragm, pain in the epigastrium at the heart's location, and in severe cases, mental confusion, dizziness, vertigo, and diseases of the vertex.

This refers to the four years of Wu Zi, Wu Wu, Wu Yin, and Wu Shen. When the Fire phase of the year is excessive, Heat Qi prevails, and the Lung Metal is affected by pathogenic factors. Yang Qi boils like flames, mountains and rivers appear red and arid, and the Mars Star (Ying Huo) appears bright. The people suffer from cough with counterflow qi, wheezing and asthma, lung abscesses with alternating chills and fever, hematemesis or hematochezia, and in severe cases, body heat and skin pain.

This manifests as torrential rain and flooding, with mosquitoes and insects breeding in fields, and the Saturn Star (Zhen Xing) appearing bright. The people suffer from seven types of hernias, palpitations due to fright, loose stools, and in severe cases, abdominal distension and fullness.

This refers to the two years of Geng Chen and Geng Xu. When the Metal phase of the year is excessive, Dryness Qi prevails, and the Liver Wood is affected by pathogenic factors. The people suffer from hypochondriac pain and excessive fear, feeling as if they are being chased, and in severe cases, skin cracking and peeling.

The people suffer from a sensation of the heart hanging empty as if hungry due to illness, hard and fixed masses in the abdomen causing severe pain, and in severe cases, cold extremities and limb rigidity.
