Grind the above into pills, size like a bullet pill. Dissolve one pill in warm wine on an empty stomach. Grind the above into pills using vinegar paste, size like Sophora seeds. Take twenty pills per dose, swallowed with wine or cooked water. When ill, take on an empty stomach, three to four times a day; when not ill, take once in the morning. Guo Jiancheng, Vice Minister of the Imperial Household, suffered from wind disease since youth, experiencing spasms and convulsions. His jaw was loose and could not close, requiring him to support his chin with his hand to eat. After taking this medicine six or seven times, he recovered, and thus took it long-term. It has been over fifty years, and now in his seventies, he is robust, with no white hair or beard. This medicine is particularly excellent for treating Changfeng Xiaxue (intestinal wind with lower bleeding). Many people have achieved efficacy, which I have witnessed personally. Among those suffering from lower bleeding who took this medicine and recovered, there were several within a year.
