为行经散结专药。尾甲尤胜。醋炙、酒炙任用。
气味甘咸，性灵善窜，祛风杀虫，治顽癣恶疮，产难目翳。酒炙、醋炙任用。
河豚：性味甘冷，有大毒。江河中的河豚味道淡，毒性稍次之。其力量能治疗痔疮、杀虫，但若烹饪不当会伤人。鱼子、肝脏和脊血毒性尤甚。
鲞鱼（干鱼）：性味甘温，能补益五脏；祛风杀虫，做成干鱼食用效果更佳。
鲨鱼：一名鲛鱼戟。性味甘平，能补益肝脏、滋养脏腑；味道非常甘美，是珍贵的食品。
王鲔（一种大型鱼类）：一名王鲔。性味甘平，能补虚益气，使人肥壮健康。但多食会动风引发疮疡。
鳗鱼：一名鳗鱼。性味甘平，能利五脏，使美人肌肤丰润。多食会动风引发疮疡。
鳖甲/鳖肉：性味甘咸平，能滋阴补肾，润燥添精。体虚亏损兼有热象的人适宜煮食。
穿山甲：气味辛臭性温，入肝经以散血。煮汁服用，送服四乌鲗骨一芦茹丸，可治疗女子血枯经闭，体内有干血的情况，其去除垢腻的功效可知。又因其质地坚韧、肉质疏松，故能调肝益肾，古今皆将其作为珍贵食品。
龙蛇（此处指龙骨、龙齿等）：
龙齿：性味涩平，能镇心安魂；治疗惊痫癫疾，均需研末使用。龙角：能辟邪治心病，也可生用。
穿山甲鳞甲：一名鲮鲤甲，即川甲片。性味咸寒有毒，药性窜走善行，入足厥阴肝经、足阳明胃经，能通经络、下乳汁，消肿散结，为通行经络、消散结块的专用药物。尾部鳞片效果尤佳。醋炙或酒炙均可使用。
蛤蚧：性味咸温，能补肺滋肾，止咳定喘。适合虚乏久病者服用。外邪初起时不宜服用。
蜈蚣：气味甘咸，性灵善窜，能祛风杀虫，治疗顽癣恶疮、难产及目翳。酒炙或醋炙均可使用。
地龙（蚯蚓）：性味苦寒微甘，入厥阴肝经、太阴脾经，能凉血明目，治疗疳积、杀虫。蚯蚓肉：肥美，主治功效大致相同。
全蝎：性味甘咸温，能搜风透骨，定搐截惊。治疗瘫痪、疥癞。需去尽皮、骨、头、尾，酒炙后使用，因有毒不可轻用。全蝎头部：治疗白癜风、毒癞。
Hippocampus (Hai Ma): The nature is sweet and warm; it strengthens yang, warms the kidney, and facilitates childbirth.
Tetraodontidae (He Tun): The nature is sweet and cold, with great toxicity. River pufferfish have a bland taste and slightly less toxicity. It has the power to treat hemorrhoids and kill parasites, but improper cooking can harm people. The roe, liver, and spinal blood are particularly toxic.
Dried Fish (Xiang): The nature is sweet and warm; it benefits the five zang organs, dispels wind, and kills parasites. It is especially effective when consumed as dried fish.
Shark (Sha Yu): Also known as Jiao Yu Ji. The nature is sweet and neutral; it benefits the liver and nourishes the viscera. Its taste is very sweet and delicious, making it a precious food.
Thunnus (Wang Wei): Also known as Wang Wei. The nature is sweet and neutral; it tonifies deficiency and boosts qi, making one robust and healthy. However, excessive consumption may stir up wind and trigger sores.
Muraenesox cinereus (Man Yu): Also known as Man Yu. The nature is sweet and neutral; it benefits the five zang organs and enhances beauty. Excessive consumption may stir up wind and trigger sores.
Trionyx sinensis (Bie): The nature is sweet, salty, and neutral; it nourishes yin, tonifies the kidney, moistens dryness, and replenishes essence. It is suitable for those with deficiency and heat to be boiled and eaten.
Manis pentadactyla (Chuan Shan Jia): The odor is pungent and foul, the nature is warm; it enters the Liver channel to dissipate blood stasis. Boiled juice taken with Si Wu Ju Gu Yi Lu Ru Wan treats amenorrhea due to blood exhaustion in women, where dry blood remains internally, demonstrating its efficacy in removing turbidity. Furthermore, due to its tough texture and loose meat, it can regulate the Liver and benefit the Kidney, and has been cherished as a food since ancient times.
Long She (Dragon Bone and Dragon Teeth):
Long Chi (Dragon Teeth): The nature is astringent and neutral; it calms the heart and anchors the spirit. It treats fright, epilepsy, and manic disorders, and must be ground into powder for use. Long Jiao (Dragon Horns): They ward off evil spirits and treat heart diseases, and can also be used raw.
Manis pentadactyla Scales (Lin Qi Jia): Also known as Chuan Jia Pian. The nature is salty, cold, and toxic; it moves vigorously and penetrates deeply. It enters the Foot Jueyin Liver and Foot Yangming Stomach channels, unblocks meridians, promotes lactation, reduces swelling, and resolves masses. It is a specific drug for promoting menstruation and dissipating nodules. The scales from the tail are superior. It can be processed with vinegar or wine.
Gekko gecko (Ge Jie): The nature is salty and warm; it tonifies the Lung and nourishes the Kidney, stops coughing, and relieves asthma. It is suitable for chronic weakness and long-term illness. It should not be taken when external pathogens are just beginning.
Scolopendra subspinipes (Wu Gong): The flavor is sweet and salty, the nature is agile and penetrating; it dispels wind and kills parasites, treating stubborn tinea, malignant ulcers, dystocia, and corneal opacities. It can be processed with wine or vinegar.
Pheretima aspergillum (Di Long): The nature is bitter, cold, and slightly sweet; it enters the Jueyin and Taiyin channels to cool blood and brighten the eyes, treating infantile malnutrition (gan accumulation) and killing parasites. The flesh: is succulent, with similar main indications.
Androctonus australis hector / Buthus martensii (Quan Xie): The nature is sweet, salty, and warm; it searches out wind and penetrates bones, arrests convulsions, and prevents seizures. It treats paralysis and scabies. All skin, bone, head, and tail must be removed, and it should be processed with wine. Due to its toxicity, it should not be used lightly. The head: treats vitiligo and toxic leprosy-like conditions.
