The above ten types of Dan Du (Erysipelas/Toxic Heat) undergo rapid and severe changes. If treatment is delayed, it becomes incurable. Therefore, I do not spare these formulas. If one can carefully distinguish each type and treat according to these methods, there will be no failure. If left untreated for three days, the pathogenic factor attacks the Zang-Fu organs, and it ultimately becomes incurable. Do not delay.
Shenghui Fang states: In children with deficient muscles, wind-toxic heat pathogens invade. When heat-toxic pathogens contend with blood and Qi, the skin becomes red and swells. The wind follows the Qi, wandering without fixed position, hence the name.
